Hi from a new member to peugeot family,
Who is already thinking of a divorce and letting as many people know that if you want service and reliability don't turn to peugeot.
Peugeot citroën tygervalley has left the worst taste with regards to service I have ever experienced as i'm still only 2 years into driving a new car off the show room floor.

Problem: been driving for 4 thousand km's and over 10 weeks with a problem which is still waiting for a part according to the peugeot dealership which only seems to contact me if I initiate contact via phone or even better when I arrive at dealership and they want to hand me a phone.
After I demanded to speak to the dealer principal a mr johann botha who has replied to my concern by indicating there are no timelines which can be given and that your new supply chain software is the issue.
This is not my concern and I made it clear that i'm in the process of complaining to any and every avenue available to me.

My 2016 Peugeot 301 has been at the dealership shop for over two months. It took three weeks to receive the front Shock/Strut part and replace them.
My car still sitting at Wahdan Auto who is the subcontractor for Mansour Auto Group the official dealership for Peugeot in Egypt. For two months now are waiting for "Motherboard Circuit" to be shipped as they claim from France to Egypt. I am very disappointed and furious about the lack of communication between Wahdan Auto and myself. I had to leave Egypt and back to USA, unfortunately they do not answer my numerous phone calling. delay on parts from peugeot
Parts were ordered for my Peugeot 207 CC on the 4/6/2018 from Peugeot in South Africa. These parts have still not arrived in SA. The current ETA for the orders listed below is 31/7/2018 after a number of previous ETA that were not met by Peugeot. According to Zanele in Peugeot customer care division she is not able to trace the t parts in transit as they don't have access to check and will only know on the 31/7/2018 if its arrived or not.
Such terrible service from Peugeot. Will not buy another Peugeot waiting to sell this car once paired

My vehicle has been in the repair shop at Auto Magic in (South Africa) since the 31st of May 2018. Parts were ordered on the 4th of June 2018 from Peugeot for my vehicle. I was given several delivery dates from Peugeot for the delivery of the parts for my vehicle, to be disappointed on each day that arrived that the parts have not arrived from Peugeot, this is the new ETA.
After 4 weeks of not getting any joy with Peugeot South Africa, I explaining my situation on Hello Peter, a platform for complains, I then received feedback from Zanele, who is Peugeot customer relations manager, that my parts will be arriving on the 31/7/2018.
It is now the 25th of July 2018, so I decided I need to be proactive dealing with Peugeot as they are not service driven, so I follow up on the delivery of the parts to ensure its still scheduled to arrive on the 31/7/2018, only to be informed by Zanele that she will only know on the 31/7/2018 and she has no access to trace the parts in transit. I then asked for contact details for Peugeot international so I could follow up with Peugeot international direct as I am more than frustrated now due to the delay on these parts, Zanele informed me that they don't have contact details for France.
Zanele is of no help and I find it very strange that Peugeot South Africa have no contact details for Peugeot in France.
This is disappointing service . Current Peugeot customers in South Africa and those looking at purchasing a Peugeot need to be informed that they are going to have this constant problem of not having parts available in South Africa. I have experienced this problem twice with Peugeot not having parts available for repairs.
Pathetic service thus far. I will never purchase another Peugeot nor will I recommend this brand to other customers.
I want to know if the parts for my car are still on schedule for the 31/7/2018 and that there are no more delays.

I've been experiencing problems with my peogeut 208 1.2. From April already.
1. My car has engine problems and it seems that my dealer(they have been very helpful ) mechanic can not figure the problem out- my car fails to accelerate sometimes on the high way and when I accelerate it brakes and sometimes switches off. Or the car start cutting power. Now the start switch needs to be started twice.
2. I can't fill up my tank above 2/3 because of this airlock nonsense
Petrol runs out quickly too
3.my car'alarm randomly goes off during the night.
4. Worse of all I'm still under warranty but feel like selling the car...

I am really dissapointed with the service from peugeot.If I knew I would experience such problems with this car I would have not put my self in debt to support a poor service providing car brand. My car is less than two years old bought it brand new (2016 308) at 58000km the shock failed, the car felt dangerous to drive and was really uncomfortable.took it for service at 59000km and was told that the shock need to be ordered and will be replaced it's been more than 3 months waiting my car is at 67000km car is getting worse and everytime I call I'm told they are still waiting for parts that is the peugeot service center in boksburg.

Dear Sir, my vehicle no. is W5586W, and is having engine problem that need to change full set engine but service centre balakong had the approval letter for replace new full set engine for peugeot 508 car. the problem is officer/service customer balakong want us do 100k mileage to continue the warranty period for new engine. starting from march 2018, my car is at balakong service centre for replacement if other parts. im asking the centre to provide me spare car for more than 15 times, but still useless. they just say will arrange but until now [protected] I still didnt get my spare car. then my question is, why do I need to do the 100k mileage services if my car isn't have engine in it? then the transportation fees that I pay everyday to work place should also bare by peugeot company as engine problem is non of my fault. peugeot company should be responsible for this matter. I would be much appreciate if I can get any feedback from peugeot for my complain above. thanks.

Intake pipe for turbo crack. My car only 4years +. Less used this car due I have another. Always in shelter even my kilometers is 67000 although I am came for 90000 services because of the due date for service. Why there is crack if I not using car very often. All this things is really make us to regret for buy Peugeot. Within this few there is a lot recall. Few part worn out during warranty period.

I'm writing this email to excepress my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with the peugeot service quality in Egypt after trasfaring the Brand to the Local agent Mansour,
My problem in my 2015 508 shasee 2221 started in Elsabee center (one of the authorized peugeot centers by Mansour) when i went there to change my broken front screen, they asked me to leave the car as the repair process takes around one working day and asked me to come next day to receive my Car, next day up on my arrival and reciving the car i noticed that the broken parts from the old screen were scattered every where that lead to my injury and the presence of chemicals scattered on the steering wheel and when i asked them to change it because this was there fault and they admit that they told me that thy won't replace it and all what they can do is to add a black spray on it and i ended up by having an ugly steering wheel, i decided to escalate the Complaint to Mansour and i contacted there call center twice and after each time they told me that i will get replay within 28 hrs and nothing happened,
I am totally disappointed as i thought that those centers should repair or fix the car problems not to damage it, im waiting your replay and your action regarding this issue and hope to here from you soon

Namely, I was in possession of Peugeot 308, year of manufacture 2013, with factory warranty up to 2015. In 2015 I have extended warranty for another 2 years, until May 2017, and have paid same. In 2016, 6 months before warranty was about to expire I requested to extend for another year, until May 2018, which was the maximum.
However, after several attempts and after I was insisting to activate warranty and to issue bill for the same there was no action taken but I was only sent from one guy to another but they were all "busy". Every time I would ask they would say "we are busy now and we will call you", but they never did.
In Feb 2017 I have sold the car as car without warranty since I never knew is it activated or not and since I was never called and confirmed the status. Based on expired warranty I have sold car cheaper, however, this morning I have received request for payment, after 1 and half year. After I talked to Peugeot center they confirmed warranty was activated 4 months after my request and without my acknowledgment. They have activated warranty without letting me know, I never knew the price neither I ever used it.
I believe this is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. This puts me in position not to deal with this dealer anymore and consequently not to buy Peugeot cars anymore.
When I requested to extend warranty I was ready to pay, otherwise I would not ask for the same. As they could not make up the price neither to give me precise answer after several attempts I am wandering what makes them eligible to activate it by themselves and issue receipt after ONE and HALF YEAR!
I hope you understand my concern and disappointment.

spare parts change delay in spite of my car is in warranty time
Im from egypt, my car is 301 model 2016. Now it is 39000 km and it is still in warranty. During the regular maintenance of 40000km.in soudi group (one of new agent's centers mansour in egypt). They declared that there is a problem in front suspension system & they promise to change within three days. Based on email request (as they claim) sent from saoudi center to mansour group to approve the suspension system changing
That was about 2/6/2018, now it is two weeks later without any news. With unexplained delay. May it to skip their responsibility?

I cant wait any longer my car is standing at a other garage in vanderbijlpark.
I think 2 months was enough time.

This is a message from an Egyptian doctor who wants to show you how lousy the reputation of Peugeot is becoming in Egypt. I am an owner of a 508 produced 2014. I am the first owner and still own it. Six months after I bought it, the fuel pump broke down. Your agent changed it for free. A few months later there were serial minor catastrophes including; window shutters, water piping system, engine base supporters …. etc. Too many to recall. Until the major catastrophe where the engine was consuming oil. After many stupid rationalization from your agent buying time until the warranty expires. After a serious act by me they declared the engine has to be changes and they did. Few months after the waraanty expired the aircondition broke and I had to change it on my own expense costing me 22, 000 LE. 9 months later, something called the "Turbo" broke and I had to change it om my own expense paying 32, 000 LE. Then I noticed the air condition is not fine and they told me it needed a new compressor which I changed on my own expense 9 months ago. They refused to change it because they claimed that the agent in Egypt has been changed and they will not attain responsibility. I went to the supposedly new agent and they also refused to take responsibility and sent me back!
This is not a story from a Comedy film. This is a fact that happen with your Peugeot 508 in Egypt.
Is that the price I should pay for trusting an international name like Peugeot?!

I ordered & purchased a Master Brake Cylinder on the 4th of May 2018 with an urgent 15 day courier request. Today has been a full calendar month (31 days) since date of payment and nobody has been able to at least provide me with an ETA on my part.
I've been phoning the customer care line everyday and nobody can provide details of planned shipping date or ETA. Apparently the systems are off although I feel that communication can be established telephonically between branches, warehouses and hubs.

Purchased a Peugeot 2015 Gti 208 in March 2018 a month later with no warning car refused to start, had to have car towed to the dealership at my cost, after it was diagnosed that fuel pump faulty, part had to be ordered it is now a month that the car is in their dealership and part has not yet arrived. It is the most frustrating thing to have to keep calling to get feedback because nobody will come back to you with any information. Requested a loan car and no feedback on that as well. Worst decision ever was purchasing a PEUGEOT. I will never recommend to any person. Very dissatisfied customer!

I would like to notify Peugeot that its dealer in KSA; Al Mutawakel is not doing any offer for Peugeot cars. He is keeping the prices as it is all the year and this frankly affecting the sales of Peugeot in the country. All competitors are doing offers related to discounts & services, specially this season (called Ramadan Season), while Al-Mutawakel insists that there is no offer and there will not be any offer! I can understand this policy if the car is reputed in the kingdom, but I believe the car needs a tough marketing plan in Saudi to improve its existance.
Not only the competitors, but also the other Peugeot dealers in the region; Bahrain, UAE, Jordan and Egypt are always having offers all the time! I was informed that Al Mutawakel was doing offers before when there were two dealers in KSA. But since he is the only dealer now, he insists not to have offers for no reason! I believe if he changes his way, the sales of 3008 and 5008 will jump.
With no doubts, Peugeot has a nice cars, but we should admit that there is lack in marketing with the dealer. For example, Renault Koleos is more expensive than Peugeot 5008 in France and Euroup, but in KSA, it more cheaper with attractive offers from the dealer.
I myself would like to buy Peugeot 5008, but I can not ignore the offers coming from Other competitors which make a gap with 5008. I feel it is my right as a customer to ask for offers like the others.
I hope that Peugeot co. could negotiate the marketing plan with the dealer which can reflect an interest for all parties.

I have contacted your customer services team with my complaint, but have not yet received any form of response.
Therefore I am following up my original letter in the hope that we can achieve a resolution. As I am sure you understand, the situation as it stands is very frustrating and I would be really grateful if we could move forwards towards a solution.
What happened: My 2015 508 suddenly had a problem with the gearbox in August 2017 and until now even though we got full waranty approval though they dont even know when it will arrive or when my car will be finished so i dont have a car for 7 months and even i dont know a date
To resolve this: I want to hasten the procedure and the gearbox delivery and i want any compensation for this whole period leaving me with no car for 7 months although i bought the car just from 2 years and now it became old with the new shape of 508 even without me riding the car for a long time

My name is Adel Kamel El Baradie from Egypt, I bought a brand new Peugeot 508 end of 2013, i.e. model 2014, my car motor no. is (1851213) & Chassis no.is (638). My current distance kilometer is approx. 84, 000 km.
Few days back, I recognized that my car is jerking while shifting from 3rd to 4th gear and the same happens from 5th to 6th gear.
I took my car for checkup with CDCM Peugeot ex dealer, they confirmed that my gearbox broke-down as a result of a problem in the cooler which ended up to the gearbox oil mixing up with engine cooling water. Being an ex-dealer the recommended a complete over whole for the gear box at a very high cost around EGP 60, 000 equivalent to approx. EUR 3000. I was really shocked to hear this especially I never heard about similar problem with any Peugeot model.
I decided to contact Mansour, the new Peugeot dealer in Egypt who said they will be officially in charge of the brand as of 1st of April 2018 and they recommended another authorized Peugeot service center called Saudi.
I went to Saudi service centre and they confirmed the same gear box problem, but they had a different repairing methodology. They decided to change the cooler and wash up the gear box 3 times with a very expensive gear box oil to remove any traces of water from the gear box; they recommended the same for the engine cooling water. Cost was around EUR 900 and results were not confirmed, they also recommended repeating the same procedure after driving for 1000 km.
I agreed and they took 2 working days to do the above repairs. Honestly there was no improvement at all.
I contacted Mansour once more to consult them, there call centre agent took my complaint and promised someone will get back to which never happened and this was when I decided to contact the brand owner.
I here complain about my gear box failure at less than 84, 000 km which is considered a manufacturing defect that needs to be fixed through and at the expense of Peugeot. I also complain about the service quality of Mansour the new Peugeot dealer in Egypt.
I would like also to drive your kind attention that I am doing the regular maintenance for the car on exact timings and please check my records with CDCM. My last check was at 75, 000 km.
PS: I had the same problem with my ex car Volkswagen Jetta. Fortunately they were very professional and changed my gear box without any cost through their dealer in Egypt.
I expect the same treatment from a big brand name that cares about their customer satisfaction and brand reputation like Peugeot.

Dear Sir/Madame,
I have a big challenge with Peugouet in Egypt. My front driver door one touch window key is not working properly. I went to CDCM before the warranty ends by almost one month and half and they reset the window in one second and it worked properly, however I requested if this problem could be repetitive it's better to change the window machine. Answer was no need! After two months the problem returns back again and Now I am out of warranty!
I believe there was no credibility in handling this case and it should be changed within warranty since then.
What makes the issue more worse, when I returned back to them now, they said they are not anymore the agent for Peugouet and it went to another agent - Mansour!
So what I should do now? I went to a service agent of Peugouet called wahdan but they advised I am out of warranty and I have to pay for that!
I understood that this is a popular failure in my car model 2008 and it is a popular manufacturing failure as I am not using my car much and I take more than full care of ot doing all my maintenances. Frankly speaking, I was not expecting such handling from a respectable company like Peugouet and I am asking your involvement to solve this matter.

308 active turbo - remote key
I purchased a 308 Active Turbo 2016 yesterday. I was shocked to notice that the car does not have a basic double remote key, and there is only one remote key as well as just a simple key as the duplicate. This defies the basic principle and universal standard of having two remote keys, so if there is any emergency on the road, should the customer have to go and recover the vehicle to the dealership. This is absolutely against customer sensitivity. I spoke to the dealer, who says, two keys are only given to top line and yours being active tourbo, 2nd in line, hence you would not get it. This needs correction, and I demand that a duplicate remote key be offered, free of cost.
