Philips smart tv

Purchased a 49" Smart TV from Walmart less than 9 months ago with a 1 yr warranty. It suddenly stopped working. A phone call to their customer service got me nothing but a run-around. They require pictures of the TV before they can do anything!?!

Even though I requested to speak with a supervisor, I still got stonewalled. They will have a supervisor call me back in 3-5 days! Please keep my phone lines open! You gotta be kidding me.

There's no reason why this issue can't be resolved immediately. It's very simple. Replace or repair.

Shame on Walmart for making us deal with companies like this.

What Philips calls customer care is nothing but a rip-off.

Philips avent feeding bottle

I want to find out from you guys if its normal for the avent bottle to turn brownish in color after 4 months of use?l have used this bottle for my 8 months old son, l love the new teats he adjusted to them just fine.The only problem l have is the color change of the bottle.l tried purchasing some other brands but nothing is as good as the Avent bottle but then again l have doubts in purchasing this product as l'm worried about the bottle turning brown again.

Philips fc9532/09 vacuum cleaner

At the end of September 2017 I received the cleaner as a gift, the part of the Philips vacuum cleaners hose used for the 2nd use just broke. This pricey machine is really poor quality and non ergonomic also. I demand an urgent change, I am surprised at that kind of production quality still under warranty. I'm afraid to use for the 3rd time?!. I'll never buy a Philips home appliance again and I'll tell everyone. I do not recommend to anyone, I will go to global platforms. I demand urgent solution and change! This is a shame!

Philips netflix app not available in spite of confirmation by sales agent that it is netflix able

This happened only last night, I was so disappointed that I have been fooled by the sales person of sharaf dg in deira city center in tv section.

I bought a smart tv with an initial query if this tv is netflix able because thats the reason why I want to buy the tv.

The sales person, in good faith, told me that it is netflix able.
Without further ado, I bought and brought back home the tv.
Only to find out that it is not netflix able, thinking that I need to download it first the app, I tried to download...

To my dismay, the tv itself could not be able to download...
I immediately called customer service next day, which is today... Telling them that if they could not provide me netflix app on the tv, I might as well exchange it to another tv with netflix app.

To my great disappointment, they told me that it is not possible because I already open the package... But of course, how in the world would I be able to find out that issue if I did not open the package?

I want my tv to be exchanged or my money to be refunded...

Philips avent 18m+ dummies

I purchased Phillips AVENT dummies for my son who is 18m, I have just gave him a drink when taking his dummy away you can see part of the teat has broken, these are supposed to be for 18+ babies, my son could have chocked on this dummy, I am mortified that this has happened and could have put my sons life at rush by choking, he doesn't often have his dummy only when he is sleepy so there is no possibility of him damaging, he has has this brand dummies since birth and I think it's disgusting that he's been put at risk, action needs to be taken!

Philips iron

Iron Model # GC4860 was defective. First complain in March. Philips service partner Rocky Agencies Gopalpuram, Chennai, India came home on April 4 and Vignesh (+91 [protected]) collected the iron to repair. Investigation money was also paid by us. Multiple calls to Vignesh- No response. Complain closed without resolution. Again complain was lodged #[protected] on April 27. Complain closed without resolution. Again complain was lodged # [protected]. Complain closed without resolution. Another complain lodged today but when asked to connect to supervisor, call disconnected - this happened five times. Now I dont have my iron and there is no way to get it back or get it repaired

Philips avent pacifier

Good Day

Please note that I have been purchasing my Pacifiers from avent since day one, my son is now 9 months old.

I have in the last 5 months purchased 4 pacifiers which are all 4 broken in a form of a tear in the silicone and on the same place each time.

This is not due to biting as he only now has 2 little teeth so this would not have been the reason for the damages.

I do not have the proof of purchase for the others but I do have the one receipt and barcode of purchase

Philips problems with gas lever causing gas spilling

On 2/10/17, my daughter's birthday, I stopped by Phillips 66 to put gas into my vehicle. As I proceeded to put gas into my vehicle, I noticed that something was slightly off, the gas would speed up and then slow down, I didn't think nothing of it because I assumed that my tank was getting close to filling up. Then I noticed the gas spilling over on the ground from my tank. The gas lever was not working. The gas lever would not automatically cut off so once I removed it from my vehicle the gas continued spilling on the ground and the man next to me asks if he could help me. Before I could say yes, I finally wiggled the lever and it released the gas and stopped. Well by that time, I estimated i lost about 2 or more dollars worth of gas. I went into the gas station to talk with the manager who felt that I lost only 20 cents instead of some dollars. This makes me angry because the Manger acknowledges that it is a problem going on with his pump, but was too lazy to put a sign on it warning potential customers like myself that something was wrong with the pump lever. So what he (manager) thought he would do is give me a quarter and think it would go away. What a waste. Just think how many other people have been ripped off by this guy and he gets away with it. I told him that I would not be back and people would here about it. Something has to be done.

I want another where you can get people as I did this I told him I said I'm supposed to tell you by law that this conversation is being recorded because I feel it's going to be a long road and I'm in for the long-haul are y'all? But that's where I'm at I haven't heard anything different Walmart store manager was supposed to call me three days ago… Nothing so far………

Philips security guard

What out for American Hawk Security and Philips Coffie from Denver Colorado. These guys are total scammers, they wont show up to the job, will tell you they will refund you but wont.

I hired Philips Coffie and American Hawk Security AHSCO.net to do a basic security job, I made a point that this was a very important job and the guard needed to be on time. The guard showed up 3 hours late and was clearly high or on drugs, come to find out the guard was Philips Coffie the owner of the company. If you want a 140lb drug addict as your security guard then this company might be a good option. In any case since they didn't do the job they agreed to refund us, after 3 weeks of "lost checks" and lies after lies I finally had to dispute the charge with my bank.

If you have been taken by these crooks dispute the charge with your bank and get your money back.

Philips magnavox 32" led television

I bought a Magnavox 32 " 32ME3030V/ F7 television 1 year and 8 months ago. While watching it, the picture went black and the green light turned red..
I tried turning back on and the red light blinked a few times and then stayed red.. No picture.. I unplugged for a few hours.. plugged back in and results the same.. I took to a certified repair shop and was told the power board was bad and would cost $128 to repair.. I declined the repair as that was almost as much as the tv cost originally. I understand that things do not last forever, BUT you expect a television to last a few years.. Not 1 year and 8 months before basically becoming trash or costing almost the price of a new tv to repair. I will never ever buy a Magnavox tv again.. Or anything Magnavox! When I called their customer line.. I was told.. "warranty is 1 year" and basically.. Tough Luck! Do Not Buy Magnavox tv's if you want a reliable tv that might last you even 2 years!

Philips philips smart tv gets hanged

I bought a Philips 46pfl4908k model smart TV. It is so slow so that it need 15-20 seconds to change the channels. When I try to change the channels one after another, the TV gets hanged and I have to unplug it and than turn on again. When I open it, it takes about 2 minutes! I called Philips and wanted to change the TV with an other one or to return, they told me that Philips smart TV's runs slow like mine. And they told me that is not a fault therefore they won't change with a new one or accept the return. Hundreds of consumer has wrotten their complaint about that issue on Turkish complaint boards, but the company doesn't care about it. I payed too much mony for that TV, because I'd blieved that Philips is a high quality brand and care abou it's customer satisfactions. So I don't now what to do :-(

We bought a 42"LCD tv on Dec.07 for $1, 200.00 it stoped working 2 weeks ago, I called customer service and they said theres nothing they can do. To call a repair man. They offer me a used tv for $400.00. I told them why would i buy a used tv when i can buy a different brand, new for $400.00. Wow, $1, 200.00 for a tv that only last 41/2 years.We are never buying any Philips again.WHAT A RIPOFF!

I bought a PHILIPS 21" flat screen tv from Giriyas, Coimbatore 4 years back. TV stopped functioning on June 2009. When called for service in the authorized centre, It was said that IC failed and has been ordered for replacement cost around Rs 2500. After 3 mo nths, they returned the board, saying model spare Ic is currently not available in market. Now we are advices to go for a new TV by authorised service centre for PHILIPS.

Sent LCD Monitor in warranty for repair,got it back with the same problem,sent again in April, no Monitor back (August Now), bad customer service, no help at all. Just waist so much time with this people on the phone, just terrible.
I will NEVER deal with them or buy another product from them EVER again.

I just bought a 47 inch LCD from target 3 months ago. Philips tells me because it is last years model I am out of luck. I will never buy another product fromn them again. I will also tell and post everyone and board I know about them. The tv is 3 months old and already goes to a black screen when you turn it on.

Totally unreliable due to constant loss of signal and the need to reset the box. Absolutely useless if you use it to record programs because you can never be sure that it is not going to crash before the set time.

Philips not for the kids for the money

So we were supposed to start the season on August 1st i called to see what is going on because haven't heard from them i had already paid months in advanced i called around the first week of August they told me its going to start later in the month practice, meeting the coach and such ...i called again around the 20th still nothing set so come to find out they were scrambling for a coach because a week after around the 27 of August we finally got a phone call asking if we can be the coach the season start in September they had no coach we the parents had a meeting to discuss practice arrangement s but there was no coach Mr Peters said he needed anyone to use there name as the coach for games he stated that he will be the coach but if he couldn't stay that person just needed to say they were any ways a mom volunteer he name got stuck being coach games started the next week and honestly she over works, puts down the poor boys these boys are only about 10-12years old they let her do whatever she feels like she know nothing about soccer so my point is that they should have gave us a refund because at the end of the day IT IS FOR THE KIDS!not the MONEY

Philips philips isn't interested in customer satisfaction

Last year I bought a handy vacuum cleaner from Philips Turkey. In December 2013 I had some problems with the suction and took it to the service. I was told that the filter had to be changed and I had to pay for it. I confirmed it. For nearly a month no one got in touch with me. Philips Turkey neither sent the filter nor replied e-mails of the service. At last I wrote in one of the Turkish complaint boards and also sent an e-mail to the headquarters to the mail address I found on the web. As soon as my complaint was on the web, Philips Turkey got in touch with me and solved the problem. I also received an e-mail from the headquarters in which my phone number was asked in order to solve the problem quickly. Of course, nobody called me. When I got the vacuum cleaner from the service, I realized that the suction wasn't good enough, In addition to this, I started to have other problems. The buttons weren't working; there was a problem with the charger. These were the problems I hadn't had before taking it to the service. I got in touch with Philips Turkey and got a SMS from them saying they had nothing to do. I wrote to the headquarters again and received an e-mail saying I had to get in touch with Turkey office. I wrote them back and explained that the reason I got in touch with them was that I couldn't solve it with Philips Turkey and wanted them to send me the e-mail address of the department to which Turkey connected to. No answer. I took it back to the service last week. This time, I was told that the charger had been out of order, that's why suction wasn't good enough. I made them write all the problems down, inc. the buttons. Yesterday I was called back and said that my vacuum cleaner had been fixed. I reminded them the buttons again and they said everything had been checked and there was no problem any more. I took it back. And surprise! The button weren't working. I called the service again. Guess what was told to me? "We forgot them. You have to bring it back." It's been nearly three months and I cannot use my vacuum cleaner. The worst thing is that I cannot find anybody to solve it. What kind of a worldwide company is Philips?

Philips no exchange or return with receipt

this year i had purchased items that i dont usually purchase from SDM...electronics...usually go to BESTBUY or FUTURESHOP...but short to experience bad return & exchange policies. when i went to a store near by during the crazy storm week, i was advised by cashier and mgr on duty that even though item isnt open and only bought few days early that i must go to original store and exchange the item. this policy is not on the receipts, this was not expressed verbally or on store signs. But more so, this policy is different on receipt and their web return policy. After incident, i called and spoke with rep KOFI in call center and claimed this is store discresion. when i went to original store, the magr there claims this policy was inaccurate and i could return it at any store with receipt. i followed up with corporate spvr who apologized and affirmed that this plractice will be addressed at store and call center level. keep in mind all calls are recorded(nice). i followed up with call center and with bad luck got same call rep that gave me incorrect return policy with attitude. Again he claims i was wrong and directed me to corporates legal department #...believe all this from a LARGE CANADIAN RETAILER. guess its time to shop more at WALMART, TARGET, and BEST BUY...all responsible and standard north american retailer return policies. its time to make an issue of this corporate unaccountability, retail sales illegal practices and then some.

Philips faulty product

Bought Philips stand mixer HR1565/40. Faulty product as both beaters grind against the base of the plastic bowl leaving heavy deep scratch marks. Very noisy because of this.
Returned product to service center and told them to keep me posted. One month passed, no response. Called them and said nothing from HQ. Later in the evening, they called and said come collect with new bowl and that technician had made adjustment and problem solved. It didn't. Brought it back to service center. No news from them thereafter. Two weeks later, wrote to Philips complaints center and service center called two days later and said bring in receipt of product. It's almost two weeks now since I handed in receipt and not a word from them.
Called Ms Vivekarani service center officer, refused take my call. Left my number, never called back.
Philips backup service sucks. Now, what?..
Will never touch another Philips product again.

We purchased a Blu ray DVD player HTS 5563 3D at Harvey Norman, Bukit Batok branch, Singapore on 16.2.2013. Periodically it stops when playing DVDs and it is getting worse, stopping more frequently. We reported the defect to Phillips Singapore, on Friday 31st May 2013 and they suggested that it needed cleaning. We did this and it had no impact. Having done research on Internet, we discovered that this is a general problem with this particular Phillips product, (Phillips omitted to tell us this when we contacted them). We are fully aware of our rights under Case Trust Consumer Rights - Lemon Law. As such we want a refund. We don't want a replacement.
Phillips have refused to give us a refund - we asked them to put this in writing for legal purposes but so far, they haven't responded. Likewise Harvey Norman haven't responded to our e.mails.

If you have similar problems with Phillips Blu Ray players - insist on a refund. Don't let them fob you off or tell you that it simply needs cleaning. Better still don't buy Phillips DVD players.

Philips these products are no good because they don't work outside the home

These products are no good because they don't work outside the home. When my dad goes for a walk, it doesn't do anything for him. What good is an automated fall detection system if it doesn't work outside of my house? Why can't I put something on my dad's iPhone? I don't get why Philips Lineline doesn't do that. Seems like a no-brainer.

Philips jarring speaker, worthless service center

This is regarding to my utter dissatisfaction over an 32" LED TV (32PFL6357/V7) purchase that I made on 3rd Nov'2012 from Chopra Enterprise (Philips Arena, Kolkata). The set had been installed on 5th Nov'2012 and on that very day I pointed the sound problem (the speakers were jarring even on a 7-8 volume level) to the installing person on which he readily agreed and asked me to watch for 2-3 days and file a complaint. I filed the complaint with the dealer on 7th Nov'2012, and when no one turned up, I dialed customer care and filed my complaint on 10th Nov'2012 (Call no: PKOL1011120132). After that twice 'so called engineers' visited and informed that the a plastic sheet was missing in the speaker attachment. They tried first with inserting some paper chips and when it did not work, he left by saying that a senior will visit next. The 'senior' came, and this time he tried inserting black tapes, and after the trick failed he promised to come back soon and replace the speaker. After that i called Philips customer care for 8-9 times and asked to wait as there were shortage of speakers. Lastly it arrived on 8th Dec'2012 and they replaced both the speakers. But sadly there was no improvement. They admitted and tried to contact to their seniors over phone with the speaker on. I heard the 'senior' suggesting them to change the audio settings and come back as nothing could be done. Suddenly these two visitors tried hurriedly to change some bass settings and asked me to sign the papers that stated that I was satisfied with the repairing job. I asked them to wait for 5 minutes to check if it was really so, but they were not ready to wait even for a second. It was more than obvious that the tv set still were producing same noisy and jarring sound even at the 8-9 volume level, but they all of a sudden were not ready to admit it. They said sarcastically that if i want to get more clear sound then i should buy a home theater. I told them that i have a Panasonic 32" LED on the upper floor, and the answered then i should have bought a Panasonic tv this time also and not a Philips tv. They also asked me to solve my case with Philips customer care because it is not their headache any more.
Today (10.12.2012) I called the customer care and they asked me to wait as usual as they were transferring the line to senior (it was same everytime) and i waited for 20 minutes, but the line was too busy to come to my help. I called again and this time I got my present complaint (call no: PKOL1012120140)
The 'PROMPT service center, Kolkata' is pathetic. I do not think that they have any knowledge or attitude that can serve me. Philips are outsourcing its job to give us service in time, and if those idiots ruin like this and make more trouble for the customer, is it not their responsibility to look into the matter? Or they will just finish their duty just by forwarding the complaint to the local service center?

As far as my demands are concerned, I now want a full tv set replacement (as changing the speakers did no good) or a full money back.
