2018 polaris outlaw 50
Sticking throttle: haven't even made first payment yet...quad is been In shop for a week now and no one has even contacted me as to what's going on...first time Polaris purchaser looking to buy more atvs and this just has left a terrible taste for Polaris. The atv is In the shop Bentley's Murrysville Pennsylvania...please I hope you can back your product and maybe persuade me in to possible consideration of another purchase of Polaris ...very frustrated over this situation and trying to explain to my six year old daughter as to why here brand new what I thought would "run forever" quad is not here for her to ride
2013 polaris 500ho
Every time I bring my bike into the Polaris dealer for repairs they break something else! I brought my bike in for repairs when it would not stay running. I get a call saying that the bike was fixed and that it was bad gas, I was told they drained the tank and cleaned the carb and changed my oil. I got a bill of $381.00 which I paid. When I was unloading the bike I noticed my fuel gauge was no longer working. Called the dealer brought it back. Get a call today saying its the sending unit and its going to be over $400 to fix. I told them I'm not paying as the fuel gauge worked until they worked on it! This is the worst service ever. I will never by another Polaris product again. Guess I will stick with Artic Cat like I had before.
the shop gordie kinn polaris dealership
I recently have had the miss fortune of my pole barn being burned to the ground and with it my polaris atv my two polaris snowmobiles two vehicle's and countless other belongings and one side by side off brand and even though the fire inspector believes it was started by my 2015 atv I'm a loyal customer of polaris and I puchased a new atv From (the shop)on the 12th of June and was told it would take a couple days to get ready being I needed a wench plow and hand warmers installed it is now July 3rd and I have no atv Called (TheShop).spoke with Mr.Kinn and he told me that getting ready for the 4th of July took presidents over the purchase of my ATV there's already been full payment to the shop from a bank loan I have already made one payment without receiving my product how about this and I would appreciate hearing back from headquarters
razor
I don't normally complain but my razor has been in the shop almost 2 months not being fixed. they called me after the first month said it was fixed and it wasn't. I brought it back it back 3 days later with the same problems on the probox manifold and the rusting on the frame and roll bars as well as the gears. these are the things they was supposed to fix the first time and it wasn't. now it's been a month and still waiting for my razor. and when I call they say they waiting on the powdercoat guy to redo the rollbars because he messed it up the first time. they got the probox fixed they said. but it seems as though the guy who does the pwdercoating is not dependable. and when I said I use a different person they chose not too. i would like to have my razor completed and done right this time because I've made to many trips to polaris of ruston to get this tended too..I would really like to have my razor back before "winter" or summers out.. this is really ridiculous.
stickers cracking
We purchased a 2018 1000 turbo rzr and haven't had it a year and the stickers on the door are cracking and it is garage kept when not riding . We have put a lot of money into it for it to be peeling . We had a 900 that we kept for 5 years and it never did that. I'm really disappointed that we have invested so much money in this again and it's starting to look bad from cracking
570 sportsman 570 atv
Good evening,
I bought two green sportsman 570 in Dec 2016 brand new from a dealership.I have noticed that both machines have the clutch box warping so that water can enter the box. This has to be a manufactures defect right? I would like for Polaris to resolve this problem at no charge for me. My name is Greg Roberts. Thank you.

parts and service
I have a 2014 Polaris crew 900 XP. I bought the lock and ride rear doors for the crew model. My first complaint is why would you not put windows that could be opened in these doors.
But my absolute major complaint is that I broke the glass out of one of the doors. Not a problem right, polaris will be able to get it. WRONG! My dealer contacted Polaris parts and were told that Polaris only handles the doors but not the parts for them. Oh, it gets worse! So I contact Sportech, the manufacturer of the doors, they say that their contract with Polaris forbids them from talking with Polaris customers or selling parts for these doors.
So I go back to my dealer and have them ask Polaris parts to contact this vendor and get my glass. They are told by parts that they are forbidden from doing it.
If you aren't going to handle the parts for your accessories, then don't handle the damn accessories! Or allow your vendors to sell repair parts!
It seems to me Polaris would listen to their customers if they want to grow!
winch issue... warranty
A few weeks a go I purchased a new General UTV. After my first ride I decided to use th winch to pull a utility trailer that had slipped down slope and was difficult to retrieve. I let out the rope by the switch a few feet. I then got out of the vehicle to check it and all appeared well. I proceeded to let out more rope until it began to sound odd. I left the vehicle to find the rope pulled back in and buried itself in the guide. Could not free it.
The vehicle was equipped with an auto-stop switch which appeared not to do it's job. I needed to load it up and haul it to the dealer (hour away). They freed the rope by reversing the wiring and determined a bracket was bent. They ordered a bracket, installed it and called for me to pick up.
I was taken aback when I was charged $226.81 for the work. The dealer (Erv's in Tomahawk WI) stated it was not warranty.
Here's my position. The rope apparently double spooled causing the jam and bracket damage. From inside the cab operating the switch this can not be seen. The operator's manual does not warn about this condition. I don't believe what I did was either abuse or misuse. As I understand it is not an uncommon problem, the responsibility lies with you to warn the operators of this condition.
The vin# is 3NSRGE999JH463892. Purchase date was 5/12/2018. Mileage at repair was 30.8.
I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of the repair.
local polaris dealer blew me off when I tried to set up a full warranty service and a recall notice I have received for my 2018 rzr 1000 xp
I personally stopped by the dearlership being its in my home town. I explained I need to set up appointments for a full warranty service and to take care of the recall on my machine. They pretty much laughed in my face. Took my name and phone number and said someone would call me. It's been almost 2 weeks and no one had contacted me. If your dealerships act like that I'll never buy another Polaris machine. This is my second Polaris rzr and I enjoy them however if a Polaris dearler cant hold up their end of the deal why should I even buy them. ( my first machine was bought here but this 1000 xp was not) Stonehams motorsports in Waynesboro PA 17268
2017 polaris ranger highlifter
Sold my 2016 Honda Pioneer and bought a 2017 Ranger Highlifter 1000 from Motorcycle Sports in Talladega Alabama. I am not at all pleased with this machine, it is all Plastic, the bracing for the plastic is cheap, the original battery is is dead after a week without starting so yes, I have to jump start my brand new machine. My wife and I are riding on some trails and the transmission starts making a racket then one lied pop and the front end stops pulling all together. It has been in the shop for 3 weeks now and call me tell Me the belt needs replacing, that is has a groove in it. I paid a premium price for a sub standard product. These machines are overrated . I will never own another Polaris product .
My company has purchased 45- 50 Ranger Crews, we will be discontinuing purchasing Polaris products.

polaris switchback adventure
I have had 3 engine failures in 3300 miles on this machine. First engine Polaris covered under warranty and put new long block in it. Second engine I had dealer rebuild at my expense. Now it has failed again. Polaris is saying it may be bad fuel injectors. The fuel injectors are within there spec. So if this is the problem why do the injectors pass there tests? Why did Polaris not replace them when they put the new motor in? Why did they not have me replace them when I paid to have the motor rebuilt? If I rebuild it again and put new fuel injectors in it I will have more money in the machine that it is worth. It seems to me that in a machine that had an engine failure before it's first 20 miles they only fixed the result not the problem. Now last time and this time it is my problem and my expense. Seems to me that Polaris should stand behind there product not just hope that there warranty time frame runs out so they don't have to cover it.

rzr 1000 4 door
Hello there, I am sorry to write this, I am usually not one to complain but I was extremely upset yesterday.. My name is Ray, I have been working on my wife for a few months on purchasing a toy for my self.. Usually everything we have goes into the kids and what they want, but this time it was my turn.. My wife and I started looking and she was wanting to by a can am, but I talked her into purchasing an rzr.
So Thursday was the day, we got off work, went and picked the one I wanted (which was in a where house with cars all around it so couldn't get a good look at it (close to closing time) . We went ahead and did all the financing, signed all the papers, and said I would be back tomorrow afternoon when I got off work. I received a call that the car was outside and ready to be picked up. I gave my side job I had scheduled away to someone else to be able to come pick up my brand new rzr.. I showed up to pick up the car, and was very upset when I saw the condition of the new cage on the rzr. The cage was scratched banged up and chipped in several spots, then the service guy at Ridenow Power Sports comes out to take the car for a final check.
Ok, the car wasn't ready? Hmmm.. I know that has nothing to do with polaris, but what does, was the cage.. when I brought the cage issues to there attention, it was an issue from Polaris? They blamed it on poor create job.. ok fine, they were going to replace it with another cage from another car . Now I am getting bitter.. I just lost out on $400 in side work which is to help pay for things.. i return srveral hours later, I find over spray on the car from there attempt to paint the nickel size chip out of the corner of the cage. According to them, all the cages they have for this car have damage to them because of the way they are boxed together for shipping.. if this is true, what else is hidden and damaged from the create process and shipping? They claim they will order a new cage, but they wouldn't give me anything in writing.. now what do I do? This car was a big deal for me.. this is the first time in my life that I have purchased anything new for myself( other then clothes and shoes of course).
Here is my issue... the cage.. for the cage to be damaged, is it now unsafe for my kids to be in? For the cage to be hit in the bend hard enough to chip off the powder coat, or what ever it is, i am not 100% sure it is.. they sanded the spot tried to paint it, up can still see the 2 dings in the metal that obviously was a factory issue (from what they said) what do I do from here?

I received the letter from Polaris about to recalls on my machine took it in to the dealership and after one month of waiting supposedly I have a bad ECU and a bad wiring harness I just can't wrap around how that could be possible would this have anything to do with all the recalls if so I need someone to contact me because the dealership is charging me $500 to do work on something I believe should be covered due to the recall if someone could please get back to me ASAP I would really appreciate it thank you
dealership lack of service
I purchased a 2018 Ranger 500 from Commonwealth Motorsports in Gloucester VA back in Dec 2017. From the onset the owner was far from cordial and could care less about me as a customer. The sale person was far better. After several incorrect issues with financing, warranty, and a trailer that was far below par I finally purchased the vehicle. (the next closet dealer was 40 miles away). During the initial inspection we noticed two bolts, one on each side, missing and were to be replaced before pick up. Sidetracked with the trailer issues I didn't realize the bolts were never replace or installed for that matter. I have contacted the dealer several times now simply wanting them to send me the bolts. No bolts have been sent. I have owned several Polaris bikes, 3 rangers and 2 sportsman. If this is what represents Polaris now I will never buy another one. I'm far from disgusted what I feel now is not even explainable.
dealer service and warranties
On november 19 2017 I had my 2016 polaris sportsman sent down for electrical warranty issues.
It sat there till december 22, 2016 as it was awaiting parts the electrical parts came the machine was returned to me, however a rear sway bar was broken on the machine they looked into the part for me to be covered by warranty which I did not ask for them to do so, the part wasn't in to fix it so I paid for the work and deductible to have my machine returned to me as to being dissatisfied with there service, now since being dissatisfied with there service the dealership has be contacting me demanding I return my machine to them at my own cost to have the sway bar link installed if not they will null my extended warranty and make me pay for the part which I already paid for I asked them to wait for my next service to have the work completed they said that's fine however within 24 hours the dealership contacted me again pressing me to return the bike or to face being penalized by having my extended warenty annulled, I paid $2100 for the extended warranty for 4 years I have had the machine for 16 months and it has spent six months of time in there shop which they will not cover me for lost time for warrentys as it sat in there shop. Prior to this warranty issuse they said they pdi the machine I had 300km in the machine and the brake caliper sheared off it the bike sat there for three months not being look at until I went down and purchased the parts my self off them and fixed the machine my self they turned around demanded once again to return me the machine to be looked st then reembursed me for the brake parts. It seems every time something happens to my my machine I paid for they seem to turn around and cuase me more grief then actually trying to help me fix my machine instead they run around in circles jumping off st me because i'm coming to them to help me with the warranty I paid for I shouldn't have to be demanded by them for there services they should come to me and say what can we do for me instead of fighting me tooth and nail there's no such thing as service any more just headaches. I don't want to be writing this but i'm tired with this companey lack of service and lack of customer communication all I keep herring is penalized this extra fee or charge that in order to get anything done I should be able to enjoy my machine and have confidence in knowing a dealership has me covered however they don't.

After having Polaris recalls and "suggested" safety heat shield installed my radiator blew pin sized holes in the upper inside facing core. Dealership has been nice however the Polaris customer service complaint line wouldn't three way call them, instead they put their "tech" who never saw my vehicle on the line. This [censor], yep [censor] because that's what he was told me, "radiators don't just get holes themselves". Please explain to me how I could put pin sized holes in the upper, inside facing core just days after having this recommended heat shield put on by your trained mechanics? The dealership says it's because of a bad casting that was exposed when the heat had no other place to go now that the shield was on. Oh, so now it's warrante is past do. So should I have know your work would bust non warranted parts and go against the Polaris suggested recall, yah because I know everything that the Polaris people don't right! Polaris as a company is a joke. they will not stand behind the work they do or the parts they make you put on. FYI people, my Quad only has 115 hrs on it. That's nothing! sportsman 570 efi
After complaining about my radiator the customer service line was not only unhelpful but the tech guy they put on was rude and insulting. My 570 just went in and had a heat shield put on, with just over 115 hrs the radiator blew holes in the upper, inside facing core. NOT the vent fins but the core. The dealership says it a bad casting and the heat shield caused it to happen. Polaris customer service, (Tech) says it was my fault or it's to bad because my warranty is over due. I ask how does Polaris think that just days after putting the heat shield on, that they say I needed make this my fault?
570-6 ranger
I bought a brand new [protected] Ranger with a 4 year Riders Advantage Extended warranty. A air hose that runs by the exhaust manifold has gotten too hot because of faulty manufacturer design and my engine is damaged due to dust and dirt entering the engine through holes in the air hose caused by heat damage. The service Manager at the dealership I purchased the ranger at says it is not my fault and that is was a bad design by Polaris. Riders Advantage warranty doesn't cover hoses or electrical. I think Polaris should warranty my engine work since the damage is caused by an apparent poor engineering design but now Polaris Customer Service is telling me their Engineering team is reviewing the case and I should here something from them in 6-8 weeks. In my opinion that is entirely too long to get an answer. I bought this Ranger as a tool for my ranching business and need it to continue my business.
Update: the dealership that has my Ranger has another case with the exact same model Ranger with identical hose damage. They have also contacted another dealership that says they have seen several other cases with damage similar to mine.
maddies motorsports in dansville
Bought a Polaris Rush that had a complete engine rebuild from Maddie's... was convinced by salesman Bobby that it would have no issues with sled I would never have a problem with it... blew up within 800 miles... was told about it blowing up so early "it's a two stroke what do you expect"... so I payed the couple thousand to get it repaired... 956 miles in this past year same things blew up AGAIN... In the 2 seasons I rode the sled it spent more time broken than running... so in early February I brought the sled down and told them exactly what was going on with it and that I didn't want it fixed I wanted to know what was causing the problem because it seems like something in the initial warranty fix was missed and we are fixing Parts instead of problem... so in October I called to check on my sled cuz I hadn't heard anything only to find out that they had not started on my sled and they told me that they would get right on it because they didn't know where my sled was down there... so the end of November I called again to check on my sled and I got told that somebody would call me back... few days later I received call saying that my sled was torn apart and diagnosed... this time they wanted to replace the parts again and also replace parts from the warranty rebuild they did saying that that also might be the problem... I myself didn't think I should have to pay for stuff that should have been fixed in the first warranty rebuild but the new service manager and the OWNER OF MADDIES GRAHAM didn't think so and when I persisted I was told "Do you think I want to be working on your sled right now" so I went down and told them I wanted my sled back and I would do the work myself if they just want to replace parts and not fix the problem... After telling them I didn't want them to work on my sled because they had terrible service I was told to "GET THE [censor] OUTSIDE AND WAIT BY YOUR TRUCK.. ILL GET YOUR [censor] SLED" by OWNER GRAHAM OF MADDIES MOTORSPORTS... upon pulling my truck around back to get my sled I received a box full of Parts mixed together when I brought the Box back inside to ask one of the mechanics to help separate and label them he told me he didn't have [censor] time for that [censor] and that he knew what they were so if I knew anything I could figure it out... service manger then put my lower half exposed on the ground then put it in the back of my truck on hay and other debris so it is all inside engine now... I brought in a running sled to be diagnosed while it was running and I told them I did not want them to work on the sled... now I have a sled 10 month later worse of then I was because its in 1000 pieces... Call me asap [protected] Ryan Hynes
