2015 rzr 1000 4 seat
Been in the shop more the last year than at my home. 2 fuel pumps. The check engine light comes on every couple times it goes out. Limp mode half the time dealer don't know what the problem is so they want to just throw money at it replacing everything that could possibly be the problem. Seems like Polaris wants my warranty to run out so they can walk away. Have to follow it around in a jeep so I don't have to walk home. They have had it for over a month this time. I have owned 4 Polaris snow mobiles 5 Polaris 4 Wheeler's and 2 Polaris side by sides. I'm starting to think this is my last Polaris at $24, 000 can't afford another one and can't sell this one until it runs. Help!
2014 sportsman 570 efi
My radiator just sprung three holes that the tech says is from defective parts. Polaris will not cover the parts, to old? It only has 116 hrs on it and is clearly directive not any fault of my own. Reading complaints about this company and it's coverage of it's equipment makes me wonder why I got a Polaris to start with. The company is not willing to take care of it's customers so I think taking to local media and all my outdoor clubs is the only recourse . Thanks Polaris for your concern, NOT.
slow start, or no start
I have a 2015 polaris 570 sportsman that I bought new in 2016. From day one it has acted like it is low on battery when it was started. After only a few months I returned for service at iron mountain motor sports where I purchased it and was informed it needed a new battery which surprises me for a new machine. So they put one in and we went on with the plugging it into a battery tender all the time and hoping if you started it more than 10 times in a day that it will start. It was giving me such a hassle that I took out the factory battery and installed a Duracell agm battery and that helped some. My problem is I still have to be very aware the atv is rugged into a tender and aware of starts in a session or you may not get it started and just be stranded. I bought a polaris sportsman because I was under the assumption that they was the best made and I gotta be honest I am just about to give up and trade it in for something that I can trust to start in the woods every time. I am so disappointed with this, I love the machine but I ride in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan in some pretty remote areas sometimes. To my dismay my buddy has two brand new c.f. moto machines and has three times the miles on and has had no problems what so ever, and I laughed at him when he bought his first one and I bought my polaris" Quality" machine. Please help me find a solution, three batteries make me believe it is a problem charging or a starter drawing too much or something, but now it is out of warranty and I am making payments on a machine that I can't trust

On Oct 14 2017 we went into Peak performance a Polaris dealer in Barrie. There were two other couples with us. We were looking at the sportsman atv's. We were speaking with a male salesman about the atv's. While were were talking another female employee came up to us. We asked what kind of deal we can get if we purchased 3 machines at once. The male employee was pleasant but still haven't heard back from him. He said he would look into it and get back to us in a few days. The female employee said you can't afford to buy them right out. That was very rude of her to say that. She does not know me or the other couple we were with. We told her for your information we do have the cash for that. Wasn't impressed with her at all. You don't say anything like that to someone interested in making a purchase. Won't be going there again. You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover.
victory cross country.
Purchased a 2017 cross country new in end nov 2016. By December it was in the shop with check engine light. Dealer says it's the idler air control valve and to keep riding and it should not come on again after 2k miles.
I continue to ride after 2k light is on again. Back to dealer. They re flash ecu.
Coupel weeks it's bike week take of work to go. Oops check engine light on again bike in shop all week they replace ecu. miss out on bike week. Say good to go. Couple weeks later light on again. Call Polaris takes few days get in touch with support.
No answers why light still commming on. Get mechanic from dealer in touch with mechanic at factory. No answer. Dealer has no clue. Call support. Told have to wait for soft ware update not yet available. Will be available end of June. Calle support end of June. Leave messages no contact.
First of July rear of bike starts to wobble when passenger onboard.
Back to shop. Told nothing wrong. I say bull crap make them replace rear tire cost me $375.00. Call support no contact.
Fixes problem ask for old tire back. Tire has separation in tread and is coming apart.
Couple days later check engine light back on. Call support for 4 days straight till I get the support guy. Ask for supper visor get the runaround.
Bike in shop.
Have trip planed for the aug 19 supposed to ride out with a group.
Every time I get in the bike my stomach turns with disgust.
Every time I plan a trip the check engine light comes on.
I can't even enjoy the ride.
I'm so frustrated I don't even want the bike. Just give me my money back.
2016 polaris razor 1000
New 2016 razor bought, first time rode off road, power steering went out and over heated. Polaris will not cover this under warranty do to rode in dusty and muddy conditions. If you can not ride an off road utv in the conditions its made for, off road, all terrain then they have a bad product and make the consumer pay for their bad product. Will not buy another polaris, be warned and buy anything except a polaris.
I very much agree I hate to have more laws on the books but if Not only Polaris but other giants of the Industry like BRP, Artic, Yamaha don't want to warrenty a ATV or Snowmobile when its a purpose Built product They should Not be allowed to sell in that State and in Fact that brings up another Item, Std warrentys basically 1-riding season not a true full 12 Months of actual use at least in the North/East or Mid West. Mfgs should be required to Warrenty 2- years in states that units cannot be ridden year Around.
( Of coarse the Exceptions if Customer is proven to put a ATV in Mud/Water so deep that's gets into Air Intake or into vent lines) or bend / break chassis componets or expect Warry from total abuse or Racing then I would side with Mfg. Same goes for Snowmobile guys to take Sled sink it in water and expect Warry weeks or months latter then no-way But with today's technoligy so advanced the mfgs could put a tracer substance in ECU brain box, Air Intakes, Instruments, to see if water caused issue, And with Computers they can run History programs to see RPM and Temps of Engines and they set ECU to limit engine performance if getting too hot so we could not hurt the Engine. Polaris should stop the standard (out of Warrenty line )and become an Industry Leader in the Warrenty dept. Oh i forgot since 2000, too many big Exectives making big money, Polaris would rather Denni any possible problem, case in point 800 Snowmobiles more than 1-2 model years ( Grow up Polaris your Warrenty dept does not go out of its way to help any Customer or darn few in my experience, yes some exceptions. I think Polaris should have Roving Warranty Reps.To at-least stop at dealers & talk to Customers check 1st hand whats going on, Much like car mfgs do.Signed a 64 year Customer supporter of Polaris thanks V/r DC.

I purchased a Ranger 400 from Motorsports in Hanover Pa. on August 28, 2010 for pleasure, planning to use when I trap in the fall and winter. To date, Sept. 2, 2011 I have put 130 hours on it, the motor started to leak oil, I took it to the dealer that I purchased from, Motorsports in Hanover, PA and they very rudely told me that it was out of warranty, mind you by 5 days, and it was not covered anymore and they would not do anything for me. They called the company for me and they also very rudely told me sorry there is nothing we can do about it, it is out of warranty. I actually did not want them to give me a new machine or anything just stand behind their product and help me out in some way. Before I left the garage they charged me $30.00 to get my key back for taking apart to see what was wrong. Really...how necessary was that when I paid for the machine already, that just shows that they are out for blood not to help the customer. I personally will not buy another Polaris and will deter all that I talk to from buying from them in the future. As for what is written on the first page of the owners manual "Your Polaris dealer knows your vehicle best and is interested in your total satisfaction" they need to learn what customer satisfaction is.
We had a similar experience with our 2010 Polaris 800 4wheeler we bought BRAND NEW! Neither he dealer nor the manufactuer will help in anyway. Both were also extremely RUDE! Needs a brand new motor. Went in for all scheduled checks. Still owe over $6000 on this piece of crap and stuck with it. My Granny always said, "you start with [censored], you end with [censored]." F.Y.I. to any and all who areconsidering buying Polaris, DON'T! They are [censored] and so is thier customer service and "promises". Only 3 weeks out of warranty!

2009 polaris rzr. was out busting cow patty's in my pasture, pulling a drag. a stick or a rock, something busted my gas tank. all i hear was a puff and it was over with with in about 10 min. there was a recall on there fuel tanks but Polaris says mine was not included. it was only 9 months old and less than 300 miles on it. polaris will not replace it. i now have $15000.00 of molted metal i still have to pay for. Bad customer relation by polaris ind. I will never own another polaris prod.

Warranty covers manufacturer's defects. This is an insurance issue. Did you file a claim with your insurance? I'm sure you had full coverage on a $15, 000 machine, any smart individual would.
late payment
Hello, i have been paying for my ATV, 2 years never misssed a payment, I have to send a check to them, they cant even track my check when it got to there payment center in California. They told me it was late, i alway send it on time. Then they dont have a system for me, to have it taken out, automatic payment, they have all the excusses, i got charged $40.00 2 times. But they still cant say when they got my payment in there center.I have never seen any thing like it, all they are doing is draing the clients. but i did get one charge taken off. But it still hasnt answered my Question, and they dont have a solutation.

machine performance
In the spring of 2005 we bought a Polaris 50th Anniversary Edition 550 Supersport. The first year we put maybe 400-500 miles on it (Jan/06 to Mar /06, only used it about 4 Xs the /07 season. The /08 season is when our troubles started in Feb /08 my husband took it on a 3 day 300 mile trip when he was returning the bolt in the crankcase shirred off bounced around and did damage to the crankcase and parts inside. We wrote a letter to Polaris Industries and as it was out of warranty they would not do anything. We paid to get it fixed at the dealers got the sled back in Feb/09 used it once and on the second outing the engine quit and wouldn't turn over back again to the dealers this time we were told the engine seals had dried out and caused crank and piston damage to the engine there is less than 2ooo miles on this machine. I am very upset with the reliability of this machine. Park On Lake And Retrieve In Spring POLARIS) is sure true of this machine.

I agree with Zombiwoof, sounds like poor maintenance on the owner's part. Dry seals can be a result of not using the machine. The low miles worked against you here. Not a Polaris problem.
Sounds like you didn't properly prepare your equipment for storage.
I know that's in the owner's manual.
Seals do dry out - and what you've experienced is typical of what happens as a result of neglecting off season maintenance.
It's not any reflection on the design in general, or the manufacture of this unit.
problems
Bought a brand new RZR-S for $14K. Soon after I began hearing that the air filter on the vehicle was allowing dust to infiltrate the motor. Since my unit did not see much use I kept a close eye on this while contacting my dealer regarding this problem. The dealer denied any such problem existed even though owner forums listed event after event of Polaris being notified of the problem and extreme cases of RZR units seizing their motors under warranty. Without warning I received a new "updated" air filter with instructions to throw out the original air filter. OK. Soon after I began using the vehicle (during the first 25 hours of use) the left rear axle came out of the rear carrier (rearend) I brought it to a local Polaris dealer and explained that there have been many instances of the left rear axle falling out. I also gave part numbers (old and new) since Polaris had begun replacing the rear axles and carriers since discovering a defect on early manufacture dates. again the dealer denied any knowledge of a problem, fixed the axle by placing it back in... and attempted to charge me $90. for labor on warranty job. After causing a scene in the dealership regarding paying labor on a warranty claim, they dropped the charges. Bad for new customers to see this kind of stuff I guess... So now I have a $14K toy that Im nervous about owning. With barely break in miles on it, Im now off to my home dealer to purchase a 5 year extended warranty on it...Just In Case. Polaris should be more forthcoming with info. If they are finding problems on their machines they should step up and fix them. Their customer service stinks. Plus there's no way to contact the company without going through the local dealer network. This waters down the dialogue and things get lost in the translation. In today's economic climate companies offering big ticket toys had better learn that to keep sales rolling, stellar customer service is expected. Very disappointed.

I am 60 ears old owned a lot off road sport my intire life. Polaris is absolutely the worst in the world... everyone wants to sell one... nobody Can fix all the issues and problems.. I would never ever buy anything under Polaris name brand.. they just can't and do not service what they sell period... be warned!
