Buyer Beware
I ordered the Jandy pro series salt cell replacement but the site didn't make it look like my order went through. No emails to confirm my order, no orders to say it shipped or delivered. I was out of town and then leaving to go of the country so a few days go by and I ordered on Amazon for less $$$ ($428 total vs. $448). When I got home from the short trip, 2 boxes are there... Amazon and Pool Zoom. I figured I would return the Poolzoom one but they charge shipping and the original shipping that was free plus a restocking fee. So I'm keeping theirs and shipping back Amazon's since there's no charge to my refund on the Amazon return.
Recommendation: Don't order from Poolzoom. use Amazon or other vendor that will refund you
PoolZoom's Lack of Transparency and Honesty in Order Fulfillment
I had some troubles with PoolZoom. They took quite a long time to deliver my order. I was waiting for almost two weeks with my money held up until I decided to cancel my order. The reason was that the product seemed to be out of stock and not available for delivery anytime soon. I tried to contact the manufacturer myself to get some updates. They told me that the product was actually available and could be delivered within 5 days. That left me confused and frustrated. Why would poolzoom say it was out of stock when it wasn't?
I spoke to them about this and it appears that they changed their story. They say that they would have shipped the product, but only if I had paid an increased freight cost of $635. That was not what I was expecting to hear. I felt that I was being ripped off. I asked them why I had to pay the entire freight cost when it had only increased by a small amount. They did not give me a satisfactory answer.
All that I wanted was honesty and transparency from PoolZoom. Unfortunately, they did not provide that. Instead, they gave me false information and tried to take advantage of me. It is truly disappointing to deal with a company that does not value its customers. I am not sure if I would recommend this company to anyone.
PoolZoom's Heat Exchange Deal: Poor Packaging and Inadequate Stock
I bought the Heat Exchange deal from PoolZoom, which seemed to be a fantastic deal that I could not pass up. When the item arrived, my heart sank as I noticed that it had been damaged during transport. I was definitely not impressed by this and had to contact their customer service team to rectify the issue.
Upon contacting them, I suggested that they ship me a replacement Heat Exchange unit in a separate box to avoid any damage, but unfortunately, the replacement unit was also packaged the same way, and it too arrived damaged. I was very frustrated and felt that my time and money had been wasted.
I gave it one more shot and requested that they ship the item in a second box for additional protection. To my surprise, this third attempt once again failed, and the item returned to me in the same damaged condition.
At this point, I'd lost all patience, and it became clear that shipping replacements in the same damaged box was not the solution. After communicating this to PoolZoom, I was informed that they couldn't send out any more heat exchange units that my only option was to be refunded.
Although I have to say that the customer service team was polite and courteous, it's evident that their shipping department needs to operate with better efficiency and quality control. It's now been over three weeks since I ordered the unit, and I still don't have a functioning heat exchange unit for my pool. With no more availability in stock, I am now facing the prospect of a cold pool all summer long.
All in all, my experience with PoolZoom has not been a good one. While the customer service team deserves praise for their graciousness, their shipping department requires some serious attention. I'd also like to add that it's wrong to deceive customers by advertising a deal if the stock is not sufficient to meet the demand. It is a shame, because I was excited about the ideal of having a Heat Exchange unit to enjoy my summer pool.
Buyer Beware: Pool Zoom's Restocking Fees and Poor Customer Service
Pool Zoom done did good and sent our package over on time. But, man, did we have some trouble with our order. We ended up having to return it, and get this, we didn't even open it yet! The thing costed us a whopping $345, and even though they accepted the return, they took away some of our money. Yeah, they charged us for shipping (no big surprise there), but they also hit us with a restocking fee of 10%, which added up to $34.60! So, if you're thinking about buying something from Pool Zoom, just be aware that you could be throwing your money away if you have to return it. Those guys are a bunch of crooks if you ask me! Our product was still brand spankin' new and good to go for reselling, too.
On top of that, we had one heck of a time getting in touch with someone there. We left a message with the returns department, but they never bothered to call us back. We had to keep on calling them, over and over, just to get an RMA number so we could do the return in the first place! It's like they didn't want to bother dealing with us or something. So, while their products might be okay, just remember that their customer service is lacking big time.
Warning: Terrible Customer Service and Dishonest Business Practices - Avoid PoolZoom at All Costs!
I went ahead and bought myself a Hayward high flow 1.5 hp pool pump from PoolZoom's website and forked over the dough. PoolZoom promised me that the pump would arrive on the 16th of July, but when the big day came and went, I got anxious and called them up. To my absolute shock, the helpful fellow on the other end of the line told me that the warehouse still hadn't shipped out my pump. I was starting to feel mighty frustrated by this point, but they promised me that the pump would arrive on Monday the 20th, so I tried to calm down a bit. When it finally arrived, I figured the worst was over, but as soon as I called them up again to ask for an ETA, they told me that sorry, they no longer sell that pump!
Honestly, this company continued to fib and stretch the truth every time I talked to them. They're a bunch of liars who I would simply advise everyone else to run far, far away from. Their customer service could use some work, and their business practices are just plain bad. They didn't keep their word about the pump arriving on the 16th as they promised me, and then they up and tell me they don't even sell it anymore when it finally does arrive!
I really wanted to warn other people about PoolZoom and their lackluster service. They just took my money and never delivered what I ordered. So be sure to steer clear of this company, lest you suffer the same fate as I did. Don't let them hold onto your hard-earned cash and leave you with nothing in return. Beware of PoolZoom!
PoolZoom.com for Hassle-Free Pool Supplies Purchases
So, I was on the hunt for a new chlorine generator for my above ground swimming pool a few weeks back. My current Aqua Trol generator had served me well over the years and I wanted nothing but the best to replace it with. I browsed through several online pool supply vendors and boy, did I find what I was looking for! Almost all of them had the highly-coveted Hayward Aqua Trol Chlorine generator in stock. However, the prices were a bit steep and I was hesitant to spend a fortune on one.
Luckily for me, I stumbled upon PoolZoom.com and boy, was I glad I did! Not only was the same Aqua Trol generator priced lower than the prices offered at the other vendors, but it was also $50.00 less! Talk about a sweet deal! Although my wallet was excited, I was skeptical about the quality of the product and the service I would receive from PoolZoom.com.
But I put all my worries to rest when I found out that I had previously ordered from PoolZoom.com with ease and had no complaints whatsoever. So, I went ahead and ordered the chlorine generator on a Friday, and to my surprise, it had arrived the following Thursday! I was amazed at how smooth and easy the ordering process was, and the service I received was exceptional. Man, I couldn't be happier with my experience at PoolZoom.com.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a reliable and effortless experience when purchasing your pool supplies, then PoolZoom.com is the place to be!
Disappointing Experience with PoolZoom: Unresponsive Customer Service and No Refund Policy
So, I gotta tell you guys about my experience with PoolZoom. I ordered a part but unfortunately, I ordered the wrong one. I realized it pretty much straight away and sent a request to cancel it and get a refund. But they sent me an invoice for the correct part anyway. So, I thought, great! They can cancel the first one and send me the correct one. Nope. They told me that once the tag is generated, there's no canceling the order. But I called up FedEx and they said it was possible! So, I contacted PoolZoom back but they hadn't even processed the charge yet, which was kinda confusing. I even contacted FedEx again to see if they could confirm to PoolZoom that it was possible to cancel the order but things just weren't moving.
So I thought, maybe I can just go pick it up from one of their nearby distributors since they mentioned a wholesale distributor that's only 22 miles away. I went there personally but the distributor couldn't help me. Eventually, I called back the customer service of PoolZoom to speak with a manager. I wanted to clarify if they were working from home or the office during this situation. But things got heated during the conversation and the representative put me on hold for a few seconds then hung up on me. I tried to contact them several times to try to come to a resolution but no avail.
Overall, I don't feel like PoolZoom is a customer-oriented company. They're based in Texas and I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for products. Maybe even double checking prices because with PoolZoom, less money doesn't necessarily mean a happy customer.
PoolZoom.com: Hassle-Free Purchasing and Excellent Customer Support for All Your Pool Needs
When it comes to purchasing pool equipment and supplies, PoolZoom.com is a website that you should definitely check out. Aside from offering a wide range of high-quality products, their website provides a variety of payment options, including Amazon Pay, ensuring that the purchasing process is hassle-free and convenient.
On top of that, if you're in need of customer support, PoolZoom.com has got you covered. We called them up and were pleasantly surprised to actually speak with a real person. And not just any person, but someone who was familiar with pool equipment and had extensive knowledge on the products that they sell. This ensured we got the answers we needed to our questions about a potential purchase.
During our interaction, we explained that we had initially ordered a new cable for our Polaris Sport Bot cleaner (which was the second time we were replacing it), only to realize upon installation that the cable wasn't the root of the issue. After discussing other potential issues, we quickly decided that we didn't want to go any further and opted to return the items we purchased. The representative from Pool Zoom made the process of returning the items easy and provided us with great advice on which cleaner we should purchase instead.
After taking the recommendation of the Pool Zoom representative, we ended up choosing the TigerShark, which truly was a game-changer. The new cleaner exceeded our expectations and made an incredible difference in the cleanliness and overall improvement of our pool. The service, delivery, return conveniences, and online purchasing options offered by PoolZoom.com, made our pool experience much more enjoyable. Thanks to Pool Zoom, not only were we able to get the assistance we needed, but we found a great new cleaner as well. Highly recommended!
PoolZoom: The Lifesaver for Pool Maintenance and Repair
Listen up y'all, I gotta tell you about PoolZoom. Now let me start off by saying, I ain't no tech wizard but with some help, I can fix things around the house. So, our crib got a pool with a Polaris cleaner. But earlier this year, that thing started falling apart real bad. I think it was never serviced in years. So, I did some research and almost bought a brand new cleaner until I stumbled upon poolzoom.com.
I gotta tell ya, this site is a lifesaver! I purchased a refurbishing kit and some other parts from them, and let me tell you, their YouTube videos were clutch! With their help, I was able to fix up that cleaner and now it runs like it's brand spankin' new.
Now, being able to handle my own maintenance instead of hiring someone else or buying a whole new one is a real game-changer. I'm grateful for this new-found ability, y'all.
Now, I wish I could show y'all a pic of the rebuilt cleaner, but I forgot to snap one. It's been working hard though, cleaning up that pool like a champ!
And can we talk about the delivery experience? It was the icing on the cake, y'all. PoolZoom's delivery was on point and hands down the best I've experienced. Happy ain't even the word to describe how I'm feeling about this company.
I've already saved their site in my bookmarks for future projects like lights or safety equipment. So, if you got a pool and need some help, trust me when I say, hit up poolzoom.com. You won't regret it!
Warning: Do NOT order from PoolZoom - my bad experience and high ratings exposed!
I gotta warn y'all 'bout PoolZoom. Ya better watch out 'cause I had a real bad experience with 'em. I ordered a part and they said it was gon' come on Monday. I was waitin' all day on Monday and when I called 'em they said they didn't know where my package was and when it was gonna come. Ain't that crazy? Same thing happened on Tuesday when I called again - no updates, no nothin'. And they ain't offerin' me no discount or nothin' to make up for it.
I also saw that they had really high ratings on Google - 4.7 stars! But y'all gotta look closer 'cause most of those reviews didn't even have a name attached to it. And even if a review was bad, they still gave it 5 stars. Something ain't right 'bout that.
Now, here's where it gets real bad. I'm the GM of a facility with over 7,000 members and they been waitin' for a switch to fix the pool heater. But 'cause PoolZoom can't get their shipping right, our members gotta wait too. And when I asked 'em for help, they had nothin'. Nothin' at all. It makes us look real bad as a business when we can't fix somethin' important like that.
So what did I do? I ordered the part from Amazon 'cause I got no idea when PoolZoom's gonna get their stuff together. Don't make the same mistake as me, y'all. Do NOT order from PoolZoom.
Poor Customer Service from PoolZoom - Dolphin Triton with PowerStream Robotic Pool Cleaner Review
I got this Dolphin Triton with PowerStream Robotic Pool Cleaner from PoolZoom last year on July 24, 2017. Order number is ***645. The cleaner came just three days later, on July 27th. I decided to test my new gadget the very next day. Turns out, it couldn't clean the shallow end of my 14,000-gallon fiberglass pool which is only 3 feet deep.
I saw it blowing dirt up on the pool steps, yet it failed to clean them. The cleaner also struggled to clean the corners of the pool which made it quite unimpressive. I was also disappointed to see the cable tangled up, resulting in added manual cleaning--and let's face it, nobody wants that.
I expressed my concerns to Alex from PoolZoom on July 31st. We discussed the issues in detail and tried some troubleshooting. Alex informed me that I could ask for an exchange if the problem persisted after further troubleshooting measures.
I contacted Maytronics (who manufactures the pool cleaner) to identify any malfunctions. But they stated that although the cleaner doesn't work effectively for me, they found no defects. I returned to PoolZoom and spoke to Karen regarding an exchange. Karen refused to exchange my product based on the company's policy that they don't allow it if the product has already been used. Now that just doesn't make sense to me. How am I supposed to know if it works without testing? I asked Karen to wait and discuss with Alex as soon as he was available and get back to me within an hour, but I never received a call back.
I'm extremely disappointed with PoolZoom's customer service. They have shown indifference towards me as a customer. I'm of the opinion that if you are to buy a product from PoolZoom, don't expect any support in the long run, let alone an exchange. It's just ridiculous.

Terrible Experience with PoolZoom: Avoid at All Costs
My experience buying from PoolZoom (poolzoom.com) was absolutely terrible. It was the worst online buying experience I've ever had! Do not buy from this company, I strongly advise against it! When I tried calling them, they never answered the phone. And when I sent them an email, I received a canned message as a response. It was so frustrating! If I could, I would rate this company less than 1 star.
I suggest you tell your enemies to buy from this company if you really want to get back at them. But seriously, if you don't want to waste your time, money, and energy on a company that doesn't care about their customers, then find another one to buy from. This company is definitely not worth it.
Appalling Customer Service: My Poolzoom Review
Poolzoom is a big no-no! They promised my order will arrive in no time, but their online tracker kept saying it's still not shipped. So, I called and emailed them many times, but no one gave me a response. They totally ignored me! I was so frustrated that I canceled my order even though I badly needed the pool equipment. Fortunately, I found another company that provided me with the items I needed and delivered it the next day. However, when I checked my email, I was informed that my order from Poolzoom was already processed, and I couldn't even return it for a refund. It was such a waste of money! It's truly appalling how Poolzoom deals with their customers. I will never give them business again!
Disappointing Return Policy and Poor Customer Service at PoolZoom
I gotta say, I was really hoping for a better experience with PoolZoom. I made the decision to buy a pool handrail from them because, you know, their website said they take returns. I thought to myself, hey, if it doesn't fit or I don't like it, I can just send it back. Like, easy peasy, right?
Well, turns out it's not that simple. I've been waiting for over a month now for my refund, and they're taking out a 25% restocking fee. Like, what gives? And honestly, I'm not even sure if they're the actual sellers of the product. For all I know, they might just be the middleman.
I really wish I had read the other review before committing. It seems like I'm not the only one who's had an issue with their return policy. I mean, come on, PoolZoom, don't say you take returns if you're gonna make it a hassle for your customers.
Overall, I'm just really disappointed with the whole experience. I wouldn't recommend buying from them, unless you're totally okay with risking not being able to return your purchase.

PoolZoom - Terrible Customer Service & Delivery Issues
So, my husband made an order for a pool part from this place called PoolZoom. I guess he didn't bother to check the reviews or anything before he ordered. They went ahead and charged our card for the part, but we never received a tracking number by email or anything. My husband has been calling them like crazy to ask about the delivery, but nobody ever picks up the phone. I mean, seriously, how can this place still be in business if they don't even answer the phone? It's ridiculous! We're seriously considering calling the attorney general's office and the better business bureau to report them. This is just unacceptable!
Terrible Customer Service and Wrong Products: My Experience with PoolZoom
Yo, so I gotta say, my experience with PoolZoom ain't been too great. They sent me some totally wrong crap and now, get this, they want me to shell out cash for the return shipping. I've even called them up twice to explain the situation, but these guys don't give a darn. They straight up hung up on me, leaving me with this useless junk and no way out unless I pay to send it back. Their customer service is just the worst, so my advice is to stay away from ordering anything from them.
PoolZoom Review: Late Delivery, Missing Parts, No Response. 1/5 Stars
So, I had to come here to leave my thoughts. PoolZoom, well let me tell ya, they're awhile. I got a lil' ticked off when my item didn't show up until way after the date they said it would be here. And it didn't come with all the parts, which was a real bummer. I tried to contact them but never heard back. And to top it off, they had the guts to ask me to leave a review before I even got the product! Like, come on guys, gimme a break here.
And when I finally did get the chance to leave a review, it wouldn't stick. I think it's because I only gave them one star, but honestly, that's all they deserved. I'm still trying to get in touch with them to get those missing parts, but no answer yet. Overall, not super impressed with PoolZoom.
PoolZoom Review: Don't Believe Their Fast Shipping Claims, Lack of Communication and Honesty
PoolZoom is a company that promises to deliver swimming pool supplies quickly, but don't believe them for a second. I was disappointed with my recent purchase (or should I say non-purchase?) because the site said I would receive my items in two days, but three days later nothing had shipped. It was a frustrating experience, and the lack of communication from the company only made it worse. When I tried to call, all I got was a message saying they were too busy and to email instead.
It seems that this is a common problem with PoolZoom. They make claims about fast shipping to beat out their competitors, but in reality, they can't deliver on those promises. Their lack of honesty and customer service is a major issue, and I would recommend going with a more established business that puts their customers first.
I chose PoolZoom because their competitors claimed that shipping would take 7-10 days, which was too long for me. But in the end, I regret that decision. It's better to choose a company that's upfront about their shipping times and actually follows through on their promises. PoolZoom may seem like a good choice at first glance, but don't be fooled by their false claims and made-up positive reviews.
If you're looking for a company that values honesty, transparency, and good customer service, then look elsewhere. PoolZoom is not worth the hassle or frustration.
Horrific Experience: No Communication, Delayed Shipping, and Double Charges
.
I'm so sad with this company, it was the worst experience ever. Like, I ordered the floating umbrella like 2 weeks ago but then they don't even bother to email me about my order's status. I was so anxious to receive my item that I kept refreshing my inbox every hour, but mostly I got disappointed by not seeing an email from them.
To add insult to injury, they cancel my order without trying to refund my hard-earned cash. I mean, come on, we all work hard for our money, right? So, when I realized that they didn't refund me, I decided to call them. And you know, the guy I talked to said that it was just on hold, not canceled. Like, how can I trust them if they don't even know what happened with my order?
After that, I decided that I want the item but don't want to be charged again. And the guy assured me that I won't be charged twice. But guess what? They charged my card again for the same item, that's so frustrating. So, I called again to ask why I got charged again, and this time a lady picked up the phone. She tried to tell me that I was refunded, like seriously? I didn't even get the item, how could I have been refunded? It's just not logical.
As a customer, all I wanted was the umbrella for my pool, but they made it so difficult for me. It's so hard to trust them and their word, I'm just really disappointed with the whole experience. I don't think I will order from this place again.
PoolZoom.com Review: Overcharged for Shipping and Partial Refund Only? My Experience and Escalation with Amazon
So, I gotta say that my experience with poolzoom.com was a real rollercoaster. I recently ordered some pool supplies from them and was excited to get my little oasis up and running for the summer. However, when the package finally arrived, I realized they had charged me waaaaay too much for shipping. And here's the kicker - I'm a prime member at Amazon and I get free shipping on pretty much everything. I mean, I could've just ordered from Amazon, but I wanted to support a smaller business and thought I could save a few bucks.
Anyway, I decided to reach out to poolzoom.com and let them know that I had been overcharged for shipping. They initially gave me a partial refund of $24.17, but that still left me shortchanged. So, I decided to escalate the issue and called up Amazon to see if they could help.
It took some time and persistence, but eventually poolzoom.com gave me an additional refund of $34.53. Honestly, I'm not exactly sure what they were trying to accomplish by only offering a partial refund in the first place. At first, I thought they were just hoping I would give up and forget about the money. But after getting the additional refund, it made me think that maybe they just made an honest mistake. I'm not really sure what the deal is, but either way, I'm still owed another $21.88.
I've already opened up a dispute with my credit card and I plan on following up until I get all my money back. It's not so much about the money at this point, but it's more about the principle of the matter. As a customer, I expect to be treated fairly and charged accurately for the services provided. Hopefully, poolzoom.com can sort things out in a timely manner and avoid any future issues.
Avoid PoolZoom - Terrible Customer Service and No Delivery
Got a product from the PoolZoom website but s*** hit the fan when they didn't send it to me. I was waiting for ages and all I kept getting was some garbage about a third-party overseer. But like, what even is that? Can't they just handle their own s***? Played them nice and called them up but they didn't even pick up the phone. Sent them some emails too, but nope, no reply. I'm in the pool game myself, and if I treated my customers the way they treated me, I'd be bankrupt in no time flat. There are loads of companies out there who appreciate your business, but this crowd ain't one of them. Usually, I don't write reviews, but these guys got me so heated that I just had to. Do yourself a favour and avoid 'em like the plague.
