Pop Sells, LLC sold my 27-ft World Cat
Pop Sells, LLC sold my 27-ft World Cat. It was a bit difficult because the boat was made in 2004 yet had been kept in spotless condition and had the latest Furuno electronics. So I was asking more than blue book. My guy Bradley explained this situation to several potential buyers in a fashion that worked and we finally found a buyer. Bradley was knowledgeable, was a former captain, and a Florida guy.. he could not have done better. I would certainly use Pop Sells LLC again and Bradley. The closing, banking, all that stuff was handled by Pop Sells and was simply worry free. I sold this boat because of a back limitation, and so at 71, we had to back down to our 23-ft Panga. My kids now in their 40s grew up on this boat and now they want to be sure we do the same for all of their children living in Gainesville Florida. Boating in Florida is a GREAT way to raise children today. All 16 of us now still vacation each year in, yes, Florida.

The sale of my boat (2000 Maxum 2800SCR) was handled flawlessly by Pop Yachts from the time I contacted them about listing the boat through the closing and receipt of funds.
John P (broker) kept me informed of interested buyers as well as all offers that were received. Responding to the offers was easy and prompt. Once I accepted the offer, communications were transferred to Harley R (closing agent), who kept me informed of the steps necessary to prepare for the closing.
The "invitations" for boat inspection and sea trial were helpful in making sure all of the necessary details were in place. The closing process itself was simple, with Harley providing all of the required documents needed from my end as the seller. And the receipt of the sale proceeds took only a couple of hours once all of the documents were in place.
I have recommended and will continue to recommend Pop Yachts to any friends who are considering selling their boat, or buying another boat.
Mical helped find the right boat and kept working to find the prize! Tracy was the master at ensuring all of the team did their work at the right time and Brian really helped with the final negotiations and keeping us all in good manners. Great work done by all!
James and Shari were great to work with. Highly recommend POP rv sales. Our transaction was flawless.
Very cuteious, knowledgeable, professional always follow up when necessary.
Pleasure doing business wish all my experience's could be same
Everyone from Team Satterfield to Harley in the closing department were friendly, knowledgeable and were able to get the paperwork done quickly. We had the RV in our driveway in less than a week of the showing. Will definitely use then in the future.

when i finally found the boat i wanted, the regional rep kevin c*** reached out to me and was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. kevin was very detailed and thorough about how the whole process worked. he always kept me well informed of what was going. the boat purchase was done during the holidays and kevin always stayed in touch after hours and on the holiday itself. the next person i dealt with was lauren a***, one of the closing managers and she was very helpful and thorough as well. when i met with the seller. tc herman, who was the local rep for the area, was there to meet me and made sure everything went smoothly and answered any last minute questions i had. it takes alot to impress me, but the people i worked with defintiely went above and beyond to make sure this went as smoothly as possible and always kept me well informed. i would highly recommend using pop yachts for anyone wanting to purchase a boat and will definitely use them again!
Great service, the purchasing program made it easy for us to obtain our new trailer... so good in fact that I listed the trailer that I'm selling with Pop. Lauren, Jim and Jeff were in constant communication with me during the entire process, paperwork and documentation were handled promptly and efficiently...
Pop's team was easy to work with and maintained an open communication like throughout tje process. The sale was handled efficiently with all paperwork and documentation processed in a timely fashion. Very happy with the tesults.
We had a terrific experience with the sales and closing teams. They were courteous and respectful from the first call to the last email. These are top notch people, and they seam to care about their customers and their needs. They were always right on point with the information and guidance that we needed to purchase our new boat. Thank you Sonny and Tracy, it was a pleasure working with you guys. You are true professionals. We love our new boat.
This was my first boat purchase so needless to say I was very nervous. Bradley W. the sales person I dealt with was a true professional, he walked me through each boat I was looking at answering all my questions. Once I decided on a boat Harley R. took over and made the purchasing and financing effortless, she took every one of my calls and helped me along the way. I purchased the boat in Florida from my desk in Connecticut. When it came time to inspect the boat, I was unable to fly down. Bradley, Harley and Tab B. took car of the boat survey, giving me a number of qualified people to thoroughly inspect and conduct a field trial. The whole process was from deciding on a boat to eventually closing and shipping was a lot easier than I had imagined. I would recommend Pop's to anyone wishing to purchase a boat.

I am totally satisfied and thankful to Mike Hatcher and the team at Pop Rv's as I began my search for my wife and I's dream motorhome. Mike consistently sent me emails with coach's for sale with my prerequisites of motor, slides and price range. Once we decided to go and visit the coach, they scheduled the meeting time, the offer sheet, the acceptance sheet, the closing documents and many follow up conversations from the team. They even sent a small but appreciative gift for my wife and I. I recommend Pop RV for anyone buying or selling their RV!
Very easy to deal with, prompt, proactive, thorough, process steps outlined clearly, key contacts always available. Contract was clear, electronic signature process simple, all documents sent immediately upon completion of transaction.
Everyone I spoke with at Pop Yachts conducted themselves with the highest level of professionalism. I will reconnect Pop Yachts to anyone I know that is considering purchasing a boat.
Fantastic people! Fantastic service! Very quick and thorough! Barry and Austin are the best!
Bought my boat through Pop Yachts over 3 months ago and I still don't have a title or registration in my name for it
Bought my boat through Pop Yachts over 3 months ago and I still don't have a title or registration in my name for it. The closing Manager Rusty K. is incapable of properly doing his job and providing the correct paperwork so I can transfer everything to my name and be able to use the boat. This man is rude, unprofessional, cocky, and inept. They did not tell me the boat had a lien until I was more than half way from Miami to Key west to pick it up. The. They said they would have the title sorted out in 10 days. Lies and swindling. I've been to the DMV and auto tag agency 4 times to get my title, registration, and tag and I get turned away each time. They said the broker should have done this for me but Rusty claims the $400 + closing fee I paid does not cover paperwork...then what does it cover? The man has stopped responding and I still don't have a titile, tag, or registration this not being able to use the boat. Horrible unethical cheating company that sells you a boat however they can and then leaves you to figure it out. Seller also has had so many problems with the closing process as we've been in touch. Do not use this company. Rusty K. is completely unethical and incapable of doing his job.
It took over a year to sell my 5th wheel which was in very good condition and I had to lower the price well below market price to sell it
It took over a year to sell my 5th wheel which was in very good condition and I had to lower the price well below market price to sell it. It did recently sell and they young man who purchased was very happy with the 5th wheel. Not sure why it took so long. I had a lot of interest and registered buyers but very few who actually came to see it. Not sure if it was the follow up by the RV rep with the registered buyer or the registered buyers were just looking. One party who did come to look at the 5th wheel was very unhappy with the sales rep sent as they were late and the sales rep did not have far to travel. Not sure if I lost a sale do to that. I want to note it was not my regular sales rep, Tony, who was always timely for the showings and showed up even through the pickup of the 5th wheel. Using Pop Sells was convenient to have them do the advertising. The closing rep, Tracy, who handled the paperwork made the process of the actual closing go very smooth and it was real convenient and expeditious. The reason for the 3 stars is the time it took to sell and how far I had to lower the price below market price. I attribute it to the fact very possibly not working/following up with registered online buyers. Just my observation.
We found an RV we were interested in
We found an RV we were interested in. Our broker was from Washington. Nice guy. The RV however was in Georgia. The broker for that RV was in Florida. We had to work between the 2 brokers. The seller was out of state working in Florida. We were down from Ohio to look for an RV. The seller was not available until Friday morning. We spent extra time and money on a hotel in the area to see the RV at given appt. time on Friday. An hour before the appt. we received a text from the broker (Neil) that the appt. was being moved to 5pm. Happens the seller had a long drive and night so he wanted to catch up on sleep I suppose. Now we are expected to hang out all day until dusk? Then the seller was going fishing the next day and and back out of state to work on Sunday. So when was the paperwork and finances supposed to take place? Were we supposed to just book a room for a week just to make the transaction go through? . It cost us valuable time and money and other potential RV's to look at. I will not even consider looking at another RV listed by POP RV's. Neil could have shown us the RV without the seller. The seller could have been involved if we decided to make the purchase. Too many people involved with the sale makes it much more difficult.

I give 2 ⭐ only because poprv was quick to send me a survey requesting feedback after my first few inquiries to their sales agents - I would've given 0⭐
if that were an option.
I'll be brief because my encounter with this brokerage co. was brief after I realized they were wasting my time trying to answer my Qs (i'm a very motivated cash buyer).
• my experience involves the Rialta RV already written up by a disappointed buyer in the 9 on this ComplaintsBoard.com website
• any question i asked about the condition of the RV couldn't be answered by the agent without a several hour delay which only resulted in more follow up Qs from me - my Qs could be easily answered by the seller in no time at all
• info a buyer might need such as an inspection or possible transport of the RV after purchase was left up to the buyer - poprv had no clue about any of the logistics
• when i asked poprv what services they provide for the approx. $400 fee they charge, their response was basically that they do paperwork and advertising on the deal which involves additional poprv ppl, all of whom are on commission
• after several emails and phone calls, i realized I was wasting my time. I emailed the customer service rep., explained most of the above in the email, and said, "I'm out."
What a blessing since the former buyers realized the Rialta was a lemon anyway.
I only wish I had checked this ComplaintsBoard.com website before I ever engaged with an RV listing naming this Co..
I hadn't ever experienced working with an RV broker before and I won't ever in the future.
So to any BUYERS out there, you not only have TO BEWARE and do your due diligence on the vehicle you want to buy, but you also have TO BEWARE of the agent involved if it's not the seller.
POP Yachts gets sellers to set the price high so that they wait and get no buyers
POP Yachts gets sellers to set the price high so that they wait and get no buyers. Then they encourage them to keep going down on their price until possibly someone they know (brokers) gets a great deal while valid buyers are kept away. I contacted POP Yachts online chats and called them and they kept saying that someone would get back to me on this particular boat. Finally after a week with no contacts email or phone, I called pretending to be a seller and I got to talk to a person (Scott) right away. He finally got someone to get back to me and this is a week and all they did was push me out several days and then the day before I'm suppose to drive 2.5 hours one way to view the boat, they tell me that they got an offer which I would have done if advised as the offer would have been pending acceptable inspection and sea trial... Several years ago I tried to sell my boat through POP Yachts and they pretty much pulled the same strategy of pricing my boat high and then with no interest they would just keep hounding me to lower it etc. Since all you can really go by is book value and of course customer input they are starting the over pricing strategy on purpose to get you to sign with them and then hound you to keep lowering it to sell... That is exactly what this boat was originally listed at 67K and lowered to 40K etc... Their business practices need to be looked at... They are scammers and I will never either try to buy or sell anything from them again... I did try to use one of them in the past for purchasing and told them what I was looking for and all they gave me were boat listings that were not even close to what I was looking for and overpriced as I review any boat against the book value but the ones they were trying to push were not even what I was looking for etc.
Selling my RV was a challenging prospect
"Selling my RV was a challenging prospect. I tried on my own for many months using social media, online selling websites and TRV. Even though I got numerous responses, the buyers were primarily resellers trying to buy it for cash, but at a fraction of what I was asking. I did receive a call from POP last February and after listening to their process and checking them out, I decided to give them a try. My local representative, Steve B., was very responsive, setting me up, explaining the system in great detail and getting my RV on the market. Initially, the inquiries were slow, but after a few months they picked up dramatically. I had oodles of prospects, but no one made an offer until this February. The initial buyer was very interested, made a long trip to see the vehicle, loved what he saw and made an offer. Unfortunately, his wife got nervous, due to the size and complexity of the motor home and they withdrew that offer. Ironically, they stayed on the potential buyers list, as the husband was still interested and I suspect was trying to convince his wife. Within a couple of weeks I was informed of another prospect and within a day, had an offer which was acceptable to me. The inspection took place within a week, the buyer decided to go forward, a contract was signed, finalized and closed within 3 weeks. Steve B. was always available, sent me weekly updates, attended the inspection and interacted with the buyers representative and the main office handling the Closing. Mel H. and others assisting with finalizing the deal and closing were easy to work with, communicative, timely, professional and efficient. Considering we are in the throws of the Coronavirus situation they readily dealt with banks, motor vehicle agencies and others to complete this transaction. The Closing was completed ahead of schedule. Their fees are fair and attention to detail is excellent! Selling my RV took longer than I expected and I'm pleased that it has now concluded! Obviously, I am very pleased with POP and highly recommended them. Thanks to all involved at POP! "
Beware!
Beware!
The process started off well with the Pop Yacht rep coming out and photographing the boat and listing it.
Soon after I had an individual respond to my Facebook listing and he ended up purchasing the boat. I did not get a notice of who Pop Yachts was working with until after the individual had purchased. I let Pop Yachts know and they said fine. Throughout the process, I understood that I could sell the boat to anyone who came to me through other means. The purchaser never mentioned that he had visited Pop Yachts site and I never asked. It seems crooked to me that Pop Yachts has waited 5 months to contact me, assuming I will have forgotten the details and just pay them! To me, this is a problem for Pop Yachts not me. I will let you know if they continue to harass me for a commission they did not earn!
Now 6 months later I get the following email
[NOTICE OF COMMISSION DUE
Dear Mr.,,
My name is Stacie Hunt and I am the Legal/Collections Manager at POP YACHTS and POP RV'S.
It has come to my attention that you recently sold your 2007 Gekko Revo 6.7 HIN# IGWW0711J607 to James Byrd on May 8. The buyer inquired, requested a showing and was working with our sales rep. You were emailed seller's reports that had our buyer's name listed on them. You were emailed the buyer's name stating that POP was working with him.
Mr. Byrd is a registered buyer with POP YACHTS and POP RV's since May 1 and viewed your vessel several times on our website. He also sent an inquiry, requested a showing and was working with our sales rep for your vessel, from POP Yachts and POP RV's. Before his purchase with you, Mr. Byrd shall be considered procured by POP if buyer (or buyer's representative) becomes aware that a vessel is for sale due to the marketing efforts of POP.
I have retrieved the new title and it clearly shows the sale to Mr. Byrd on May 8.
Pursuant to the Central Marketing Agreement you signed on April 6, with us, POP Yachts and POP RV's is entitled to a commission on this sale in the amount of $2750.00. I do have all the research and legal documents in my possession to warrant this letter of collection.
Please contact me at your earliest convenience to discuss payment.. Please submit payment by October 2 to avoid legal action. This issue will not go away.
Here is the straight story
Here is the straight story. I made a decision to sell my Boat 2 years ago. I entered into a contract with POP and was assigned an agent by the name of Gena Craft,(she was great). We had the boat sold but the new prepositive buyer wanted me to completely remodel the galley basically, they offered to pay for it but when I sell something I like to move to forward, not backwards. I backed out of the deal, this was not POP,s fault .Two years pass and I made a Decision to sell my Boat again. Since I liked Gena I entered into another contract with POP,I got a different agent by the name of Jim S. I called Gena personally and requested her because we had some history together but said was was not assigned to my sale and couldn't help me. I believe POP should have done some history search in their data base and figured it out. Now I have to get to know another agent. Jim S turned out to a good guy and have no complaints against him. A little in experienced with boats of my type but never the less he had my interest in mind .What I don't like with POP is their philosophy in selling boats. They lack effort to go the extra mile to get the sale .It's all done on the computer mostly. Case and point, I only had two people look at my boat. The first person brought his friend (a half assed mechanic ) that tried to dissemble my boat and tell me what was wrong to get me down in price, i ran those two knuckled heads off my boat! The second guy ended up buying my boat with some stand up demands on my part. This process took 7 months to only get two people to view my boat? give me a break! Every week I would get a report showing how many people viewed my boat, how long they looked at it, and how many times. Let me make one thing perfectly clear to POP, COMPUTERS DONT SELL BOATS ,PEOPLE DO! Some suggestions to help you sale more boats would be,1. have open house events with all those people that show interest, set up 5 to 6 people for a Saturday and have viewings rotate every 1/2 hour or so, have coffee and snacks, start the motor, turn on electronics have music playing. have interested buyers interact with sellers after they have been qualified, a lot of interaction is good " people love to be sold "I could go on and on but that's for another time. POP,s philosophy is to suggest to the buyer to lower the price until someone bites. This is not my thought only ,just ask several different people .All and all I was treated fair with POP and would use them again if I didn't sell my self, after all I'm in the people business to. The sad thing is that POP could take there business model to the next level if they thought out side of the box that there in.

Breach of contract
Breach of contract. PopRV claim of sending representatives to evaluate, take pictures and sell your RV is false. They only listed, owner had to sell PopRV claims the send Representative to RV to take pictures, videos and evaluate RV. PopRV claims they have sales representatives that sell your RV. PopRV did none of that. PopRV gave me a name and time once of a potential buyer. The sales Representative was a no show. I showed, I demonstrated test drive and I closed the deal. When I requested a partial refund of the commission I was told that wasn't likely. Then I was told to send evidence of this claim. I did. I then was told after I closed the sale that the boss said no. Then I was given an email address to appeal. They charged 10% commission for listing but not selling.

Purchase of boat, described on POP website having fresh bottom paint
Purchase of boat, described on POP website having fresh bottom paint. False claim as boat needs $3,500 bottom work. Fraudulent advertisement. Purchased boat thru broker POP yachts after searching their website. Boat was claimed to have fresh/new bottom paint. (I have copies of their claim on the site). Boat sale final on 8/14, took delivery 8/24 via truck transport. Bottom was N, but to help some with OT freshly painted and has barnicle damage needing repair/paint $3,500. I have pictures, witnesses and estimates to such. I then called previous owner who was selling boat thru POP Yachts for first and ONLY time and asked about the fresh paint and he denied ever claiming such. I then called POP Yatchs agent who handled the sale on the website, E-mailed them, sent color pictures, not asking for the total price, but to help with the repair. After sending POP yatchs estimates, they refused to help at all. They claim I should sue the previous owner, I told them I disagree as I NEVER dealt with him, only POP and their agent brokers whw made the claim and described the condition of the bottom.

Sales Contract violation
Sales Contract violation. I purchased a sailboat brokered through PopYachts in September and also paid PopYachts to transfer the Coast Guard vessel documentation to my name. The Coast Guard on two separate occations issued letters of deficiency to PopYachts, the first for an incomplete Bill-of-Sale, and the Second for lack of Release of Lein by the prior owners bank. After waiting months, I contacted the Coast Guard to find out where the Vessel Documentation was, and was told a letter of deficiency was sent to PopYachts. I contacted PopYachts numerous times, and finally successful in reaching them and they sorted out the Bill-of-Sale and resubmitted the Vessel Transfer to the Coast Guard. I then contacted the Coast Guard to make sure the paperwork was in order and was told it is deficient of the Release of Lien and a letter was again sent to PopYachts. I immediately tried to contact PopYachts, and after numerous unanswered emails and calls, was able to speak with their closing agent and customer service manager, but the issue is still outstanding. It has been 11 months and I am unable to use my vessel without the required Coast Guard documentation. I tried to escalate this issue to the owner, but was rebuffed and am still waiting for resolution.

We purchased an RV from PopRv that use brokers to help sellers RV'S
We purchased an RV from PopRv that use brokers to help sellers RV'S. The purchase of a $20,000 vehicle stopped running after 2 days. We were looking to purchase a used RV, we saw a small , gas economy RV listed on our local FB marketplace in Atlanta , being sold by PopRV a broker company out of Sarasota , Florida. The PopRv representative met us at the owners house to look at the RV and go thru the inside, check function but not drive. If we were interested in purchasing we had to put $2,000 down and if we changed our mind on purchase before their closing date , we would get refunded. The second time we were able to see it again, we had to pay in full $20,000 but again told we would get it back from the escrow account if we decided not to buy it. It would seem that our $20,000 they had from us the vehicle was basically ours, but the broker and owner said because of insurance we could not drive the vehicle at all, not even in a parking lot. The owner took us for a ride with us and the broker for PopRV. Because we received no paper work from PopRV until we signed all the closing documents now a done deal, we didn't read in the contract it said the potential buyers must be offered to drive the vehicle, and bare responsibility for any damage, we were still told we were not allowed to drive it . The bottom line is that we in good faith went thru the purchase of the vehicle that we drove home 65 miles on a straight flat highway. We found out it had two leaks and would not go up any hills, not even our steep driveway or small hills on our street. We had the RV towed to a RV repair shop and they still have not been able to fix it. The customer service rep from PopRv is giving us the run around , leading us on and being evasive on at least helping with repairs. Unfortunately we read reviews on PopRv and found this is a corrupt company and a pattern for them in terrible business practices on many levels. We just want PopRV to fess up to false advertising , poor business practices and pay some of our repair cost or return the RV .

I am seeking the return of the deposit I put down on a boat that I was attempting to purchase from Popyachts
I am seeking the return of the deposit I put down on a boat that I was attempting to purchase from Popyachts. They have had it in escrow since November In November, I put a deposit of $17,800 on a 2007 custom Carman boat. I was told by closing coordinator Tricia T. at Popyachts that I needed to have the boat surveyed fast or I would lose my deposit. I flew to Maryland on short notice and got the survey done as instructed. I found there was a major problem with the engine's manifold and the boat had also been in an accident and had a major hull repair. I refused to buy the boat because of this. After a barrage of phone calls with sales rep Howard B. I felt like there was no way of getting my deposit back so I reluctantly tried to get a different boat from him. When I found another boat, I signed all the forms that Ana V. and Howard B. told me to sign and flew back to Maryland again on short notice this time to look at a custom 2015 Evans boat. This time the survey and inspection found the boat's generator did not power on and the rudder needed welding done as well as some minor fixes. I wished to proceed and try to buy the boat. When applying for a loan to purchase this boat, the lender denied my approval because it was a custom made boat and the bank had no other Evans boats that were sold in 2015 to compare the value of this boat to. This did not deter me, I went on to try at least six different companies to get a loan from and four of them denied me for the same reason, (could not fund a custom made 2015 Evans Boat). When I informed Howard B. that I was unable to get the loan and I emailed Ana V. Ana did not return my email or calls and Howard informed me that Popyachts is keeping my deposit because the forms that they had me sign entitled them to it. I was then passed *** the Popyachts chain of command and told to speak with a *** D. who said I can get half of my deposit back and a *** C. who said I will get none of my deposit back. *** said that the seller of the boat had made repairs in excess of my deposit. There was nothing written up or agreed upon about repairs, I have seen no receipts, and I hadn't inspected the boat since to see if id accept it. This is my first time trying to buy a boat and I came to Popyachts rather than a private lister because I wanted guidance and protection from getting scammed. Unfortunately, they are the ones that are attempting to take my money without me even getting a boat. They deceived me into signing documents in order to prevent me from losing my deposit when in reality those very documents I unwittingly signed are binding me to lose it. I was told by Howard that "I will not keep your deposit" of course that all changed once he got it. Once they have your deposit, you are at their mercy and they fully exploit their leverage. Since this is my 2nd attempt at a boat from them, I have dealt with many of their reps and they all use the same bullying tactic "We're gonna keep your deposit if you don't do this or sign that". This is the sales approach I have experienced as opposed to just selling me a boat. They have fully taken advantage of my lack of boat buying experience and are basically trying to steal my money. Howard even attempted to sell me two other boats that weren't even listed by Popyachts after my attempt at the Carman boat. If they just told me that it is difficult to get a loan on a custom made boat, I could've avoided a lot of trips to Maryland, time taken off of work, and avoided the hit that my credit score has taken after all the inquiries that the loan companies have made. Another thing Mr B. did that I didn't like was that he insisted that I use his surveyor Mr *** in Maryland. Mr *** is a nice older gentleman over the age of 80 who in his own words told me when I met him "I have the earlier signs of dementia and don't know how many days I have left" He couldn't complete the survey because he fell asleep. Pop is using this poor guy because he's unable to spot most problems with boats due to his condition. Im hoping ComplaintsBoard.com can help me. Thank you for your time.
