Wages and earning
I have work for Postmates for over 3 weeks now, on Postmate policy letter for earning and wages, it does say employees get pay every Monday. This 3 weeks I have not being pay by Postmate, after paying out of my pocket for gas, tolls and wear and tear on my ride. I had sign up for direct deposit and Postmate did debited and removed the debit twice on my checking account on the 8 and 20 of October 2020. Yet Postmate refuses to pay me my earning and wages, it like I am being target by Postmate not to be paid my wages and earning for some reason. I have reach piss off mode because I have contacted Postmate server all times on this issues and they still refused to pay me for my earning made while delivering for them over 3 weeks ago. There no contact number to reach Postmates about this issue and the help contact desk is a hoax, they never response to these issues with pay/wages/earning. It's like you working for free with slave labor being push in 2020 still within the Divided States of racist America.
I need to know how to launch a complaint to be paid for my earning and wages with Postmate who have not paid me over 3 Monday’s gone for my wages acquire out of pocket, with gas, tolls and mileage on ride not reimburse with additional wages made also with Postmate. Could a company be so callous to an employee not being pay without a care in this world without a respond to this above matter mention and submitted to Postmate, over and over again?
Going on 3 hours and no food!
There's no customer service number to reach out to. My card was charged. The restaurant said the order was ready 30 minutes after I placed it, yet here I sit without any food. This business should be ashamed. If I cancel my order, I will be charged the full amount, but you can have your customers sit for hours while you figure out whether or not you want to deliver my meal.
Insurance coverage lacking
While driving for Postmates, after I picked up the order and enroute to delivering, I hit another car; yes, I was at fault. My insurance denied coverage as I was using the car for commercial purposes. Postmates has said that they will not cover me as their policy with Liberty Mutual is supplemental. Postmates agreement does not mention that drivers need a commercial rider and their advertisement says sign up and drive. Few people are aware of the need for commercial riders and Postmates hangs you out to dry with their deceptive agreement and advertising. The cost of repairs for my car are all mine. Is there something wrong here?
Delivery
We had ordered 5 guys through postmates. Our driver sat in the store for 2 hours and then went home, and has not moved from the spot they are in. Postmates refuses to give me a refund and only gave me a 5$ credit for 60$ worth of food. This has to be the worst service I have ever gotten, and it all started once we upgraded our account which was cancelled promptly after 2 other times of this [censored].
Cancelled order but still charged
I mistakenly placed a pickup order with Red Lobster of St Peters MO when I intended to place it with Red Lobster in my town, St Charles IL. I did not know it went through Postmates as there was no indication of such. When I realized the mistake, I called Red Lobster of St Peters and cancelled the order. Since it went thru a third party, Red Lobster could not cancel the payment. No number to call Postmates except one which only tells you to complain on line. But that option keeps coming up as "oops we have a problem". Out over $50.00.
postmates driver robert c. from antioch, ca stole my walmart delivery order!!
I ordered items on the walmart app for express delivery. I ordered over $100 worth items. Postmates is walmart's delivery service. I included instructions on how to get into my apartment complex before placing the order. Robert c. (postmates driver) in antioch, ca completely ignored my driver instructions and texted me that he couldn't get in. I texted him back literally 5 minutes later and my message wouldn't deliver. I then seen that he marked the order delivered without even trying to get out of his vehicle. I had to contact walmart and they said to contact postmates. Postmates said to contact walmart. After a long back and forth, walmart informed me that the driver said he delivered my items and someone might have stole it from my front door. He lied. I would not stop contacting walmart orpostmates until something was done. Then I was informed that the driver said "he accidentally delivered to the wrong address" which I think is total crap. And postmates said there's nothing they can do about it. I'm so pissed this whole thing took more than 4 hours and I have not been refunded. And I also haven't got any of my items. $100+ wasted.
Overcharged/Stealing
On August 8, 2020, I placed an order through Postmates and the total came out to 37.55. When checking my bank account I saw a 45.06 charge. I contacted Postmates and they responded saying they couldn't help me and to contact my bank. They tried putting the blame on my bank, so I called the bank and they confirmed it was their charge. They stopped replying to my emails and there is no number to contact them. DO NO ORDER THROUGH POSTMATES! THEY STEAL MONEY AND DON'T ANSWER YOU BACK! HORRIBLE AND WORST SERVICE EVER RECEIVED! I will be telling others order me not to use this scam of a service.
Credit card was charged by postmates after the restaurant cancelled my order
I placed an online order at Pastini's restaurant on May 10th through their website. The restaurant cancelled it at 7:21 PM immediately after I placed the order. The restaurant said they were over their capacity for filling orders before they closed. Would have been nice for them to decline the order but that's okay.
Apparently Pastini uses Postmates for processing the order. Postmates immediately charged my credit card. Neither the restaurant or Postmates would credit my card for the charge. Pasitini said it was up to Postmates. I called Postmates help desk and they said they would reverse the charge in a day or two and put the timing at the foot of my bank. Customer service would credit my card and gave me the stiff arm. Asking for a supervisor, I was told supervisors do not speak to customers, I need to send them an email. They would however ask someone to call me and then hung up.
Still no call back.
So looks like I wait to see what happens with the credit card and will probably have to file a complaint through the card company.
Two take aways for me - Pastini just lost a long-time customer and DO NOT use Postmates for anything, ever.
We order about 35.00 worth of chinese food to be delivered via Postmates. They took out 98.00 for our 35.00 order?! Thats obscene. So wrong. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE POSTMATES and I am also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Recently I was involved in a scam.. I tried to stop it but they said they did instant pay. But usually when I do instant pay it shows up the next day so why couldn't they stop the payment. So unfortunately they said they couldn't help me. I did instant pay on the 6$ that was left and they gave me 1 cent. There had to be a better way to stop scams. Other companies put a hold on a new card added so that people can catch fraudulent charges. This would of really help me a lot.
My food was delivered cold and damaged and I got cussed out by your driver.. Twice and you won't refund my money
I ordered from little Italy thru Postmates... Cold and damaged I told the driver I didn't want it he cussed me out... Trusted you again to order from RALLEY'S and... Same driver and same cold and Damged food with a cuss out and my food throw at me.. Remind you I'm handicap and can't walk.. and I ask customer service for a refund... Can't even get that and I paid $30.06 and $46.09 that's allot of money for what ever you call service . I'm taking them to court I want my money back

Barry Bowdidge delivered to La Costa Canyon High school with a very strong aroma of maijuana coming from his person and vehicle. The aroma was so strong it alerted the School Resource Officer. He was contatced by Officer Martinson and cliamed it was from his girlfriend smking in the vehicle. The officer observed marijuana debris in the vehicle. Bowdidge was advised on laws and that he is no longer welcome to deliver to campus.

I placed an order and recieved no update for an hour and a half. After having to call the "customer service" department and speaking with a very unproffessional rep. guy named Terri he gave me all of the excuses in the world and when I asked for a supervisor, he again gave me every excuse not to get one after letting him know that I would wait, as long as it took. He ended up hanging the phone up on me by ending the call because he felt it was not going anywhere. I called back amd spoke with another rep., who was good enough to quickly get Ron the supervisor. All they kept attempting to do was give excuses and to tell me they could do nothing but cancel the order. It is not my issue that PostMates created a service for which they are under staffed by couriers in my local area to deliver on their services. I also have a $52.53 charge on my card, which does not even equal half the total cost of the order, including the outragous $5.99 delivery fee. This is the worst company to exist. No matter what PostMates does, they can never make up for this poor poor service. I will ensure that no one uses this service. All in all, I still did not recieve my dinner and I'm out $52.53 for the next 2-3days. Please do everyone a favor and go out of business. This is a joke company.
driver kept our order & postmates did nothing
My husband placed an order on my Postmates app on December 31 at 11:44pm. It usually takes less than 30 minutes to receive Postmates orders, even during busy periods. Our driver Isaiah, however, took over an hour to arrive near our location during a slow period (and we did not choose the "party" option). We received a text from Postmates stating that our order was out for delivery and that our Postmate would drop off the items at 12:31am. Soon after that, it said, "Your Postmate has arrived." However, when we checked the map at some point, it said the estimated delivery was now 12:48am, and it showed the driver's car not even close to our area (see screenshot). We did not get ANY form of contact directly from our driver until 1:01am. This is 30 minutes after he supposedly "arrived" at our location and 13 minutes after the "estimated delivery" we got through the app. By this point (1:01am), 1 hour and 17 minutes had passed since we initially placed our order. Why did it take SO long for him to arrive during a slow period when it usually only takes around 30 minutes to deliver even during busy periods? We realized he'd called at 1:01am and called him back at 1:05am; he did not answer. After being unable to reach him via phone to call back, we opted to try reaching out to him via text at 1:06am (see all photos attached for screenshots of these exchanges). At this point, my husband had gone outside to wait in the front and had also continued communicating with Isaiah via text. Isaiah responds to the text and claims he was "driving around for 15 minutes" and couldn't find us even though he had not even initiated a single form of contact with us within that 15 minutes aside from the single call he made just 5 minutes prior at 1:01am (for which our return call at 1:05am was not answered). By this point, my husband was standing outside waiting for him with our building door, which faces 30th street directly, wide open. Isaiah responded to both my and my husbands texts (my husband using my phone outside at the door, and me using the texting feature on my laptop) with texts stating that he couldn't park anywhere and the streets were too narrow. I have NEVER heard a Postmate complain about that even during busy times. On top of that, since we ended up having to reorder that night, our next delivery driver had no problem at all delivering the items. I don't care what that driver says, but it doesn't take 15 minutes to find our place, and he should have eventually been able to find it, ESPECIALLY if my husband is standing outside with the building door wide open facing 30th Street. Our address is not difficult to find (especially when you have someone standing outside with the door wide open!). Again, no Postmate has ever complained about not being able to find us, even when we are not waiting outside. On top of that, we responded to Isaiah within the 5-minute window required via both call and text and he made excuses to not deliver. Amidst trying to find him outside, we get a return message that says "The message was not delivered", and eventually we receive notification that, "Isaiah B. completed your deliver..." Except he didn't! He absolutely did not complete the delivery, so why are we getting a message that says that? We ended up having to place a new order, and that took a fraction of the time, and the driver had NO issues at all delivering. I have reattached the text screenshots so that hopefully someone will actually look at them this time around. I highly suggest Postmates look into this driver regardless of whether we get a refund or not. His customer service was abysmal. I have been a repeat customer of Postmates for a long time, and it is a shame I cancelled my subscription membership after this. When Max and Daniel at customer service told me nothing could be done about this, I just decided I simply couldn't trust that Postmates will try to solve problems if they were to happen again in the future after this experience. That paired with a handful of other disappointing experiences all in a row this past week has made cancelling my membership and saying goodbye to Postmates the logical next step. After a long time of Postmates loyalty, we'll be looking into Uber Eats and Grubhub now.

I placed an order that said it was delivered but I never received. I was charged $150 and they refused to refund the charges. There is no number to call and they are not responding to my emails. So offensive and unacceptable! I have been a loyal customer for years and even have the unlimited service. However they are allowing their dishonest employee to steal from them and lose loyal customers.
there is never any postmates drivers in ramona
so i have been using this app for some time now, and relentlessly moved up to Ramona from Poway and scents then i can very rarely use it because there are never any drivers, and when there are it will half of the time cancel. And it very frustrating, because i never had this problem before, and i am about ready to just uninstall the app and go to another food delivery service.

I'm 62 years old, disabled, living on a limited income, and have spent the past few months eating bland food in a nursing facility recovering from emergency surgery. I had been dreaming of treating myself with a meal from a favorite restaurant on my birthday, so contacted Postmates to make the order to be delivered to me at the nursing home several hours later. Meal (sort of) arrived, missing things. Postmates driver promised to return with rest of order, but never came back. In waiting the food I had got cold and inedible, and although I tried, I couldn't choke any of it down. It ended up in the trash. I had no way to heat it so I was S.O.L...
I notified Postmates of my severe disappointment, and asked for a full refund because their driver LIED. What I got was $15 off a $25 order, so I paid $10 for their driver's LIE and for food I could not eat.
They charged me $10 without my permission, and refuse to explain their reasons why. They apparently seem to feel I should be grateful for their $15 discount on my order, and expect to be delighted to be given another chance to STEAL MY MONEY!
Their driver LIED and ruined my birthday "party" - I have no one, so I tried to give myself a treat. What a joke.

Delivery driver lied about delivering when he did not
I was told the delivery would be in 23 minutes and it never came. I complained twice by phone. The driver never came and 90 minutes after I ordered pressed the button that my food was delivered. A huge lie. But what is worse is that the driver has my food and is eating a $17 meal for free while I have no food and a $5 credit. I should file a police report that my food was stolen. And even worse they don't even hold the driver accountable or issue an apology. I will not use Postmates again.

They cut 25% from the normal base of $4 for Postmate drivers in ALL MARKETS. No postmates driver can survive off of this because one gallon of gas is already $4. How can we continue driving and delivering if they don't even pay us enough for gas? Please, postmates, reconsider this decision because without your drivers, your business would fail to operate.
my earnings wasn’t received due to fraudulent activity known as phishing
Before I get into detail I have numerous emails back and forth as well calls to Postmates almost daily with every representative telling me this will be resolved and it's been almost 3 weeks and nothing is getting resolved. I hope this will help me get some kind of resolution, this is in detail my distress. This fraudulent attempt was not due to my lack of knowledge in the handling and safety of my app. I was on a delivery when this occurred, previously when I was on deliveries and it took a little time for me to wait for the order a Postmates representative would reach out to me by telephone and asked me if everything was OK so when I was in the middle of an order I received an additional order at the same location. I was able to get the food for the first order which was from CityBird the second order that I excepted shortly after for the same location was weird because it was for one item which was a soda, the employee At CityBird Thought that that was an unusual order as well I did not think anything of it until I got into my vehicle with the food and the Soda. I Then Received a phone call like I had before in the past from a post mates representative asking me if everything was ok to later inform me that I had a complaint from the previous customer I delivered to
Saying that I wasn't the person who was registered with Postmates in the photo and that they had to put a hold on my account until They can prove who I was which they did for 30 mins I couldn't access my app or the two orders I had so of course I believed this to be true because how else could they access the app if it wasn't Post mates. I was upset and nervous because I had the customers order and I continued to ask the representative what should I do with the customers order the Postmates representative then placed me on hold I then received a call from the customer who ordered the food not the soda letting me know they were confused because on their end it showed me being in New York city which I let them know that no I am in Cincinnati, Oh and I have your order and I am on the other line with a Postmates representative getting everything cleared up. They understood and they said OK and I clicked back over to speak with the Postmates representative who then sent me a text message letting me know in order for me to complete my deliveries I needed to supply my email address and password to verify who I was because of this complaint they were able to see my location tap into the order from CityBird and excess an email account from Postmates that said Postmates so of course I believed this to be true later to wait and see he had Placed a restriction on my account pause my orders and added a bank card to my account and deposited My Hard earn funds Onto a card that I am not associated with and that I did not place or authorize into my account I've never added any other cards to my account other than the one I signed up with. Now please tell me how is this my responsibility to be able to determine what's real and what's not under the assumption that I am under protection from Postmates and that your app is as secure as Door Dash. My wife does door dash and she has over 1, 000 deliveries and this has Never happened to her. I believed that my safety and security being a fleet worker was number one priority so how could this happen? how could someone access my app and my orders and pause my orders for 30 minutes through the Postmates Fleet app. Of course I was confused I was in the middle of an order I have been nothing but successful at all of my previous deliveries no complaints great service and a faithful worker. My account Has been compromised twice stealing my funds There is record of me constantly trying to get a resolution to this unfortunate situation. I want to continue to work for Postmates and earn money but I am scared to death that your system is easily targeted for phishing and fraud. Please help me get back to work and help me please to receive my earnings this was not due to my negligence as you can see by me explaining every detail. I did not receive my food
Hello My name is Katrina Johnson, I had order from postmate last night april 2, 2019. I seen on the link that the driver was just sitting. This drive Amanda press the link that she delivered my food. She did not deliver my food. This is unacceptable nor did I get a refund, or a new order of food. The food I order was for my child, and for this person to pick up my order and complete the delivery without bringing me my food is very unacceptable, I am beyound upset. I file a complaint and they are telling me is will take a couple of days for a refund. I am not happy with this situation. I screen shot the driver on the account it says her name is Amanga G.
