I hired Blue Chip Painting and Contracting Inc., also known as Precision Painting Plus, with Carmine D (***). In my opinion, they ain't reliable, they mislead and deceive, didn't do the job right, had sloppy work, didn't do all the work they were supposed to, left the project halfway, didn't do it on time, and shouldn't be hired. It was a terrible experience.

Precision Painting Plus and their team did a very professional job, which they completed within my timeframe requirements. When I asked them to come back to fix some imperfections, they did so promptly. My rating should be read as a 4.5 star because their office took longer than I expected to send me their certificate of insurance to start the job. Other than that, it was a good experience from start to finish.

I was in my new rental, and it was painted a pastel green color all over for that garden floor vibe. However, I prefer "white walls" and wanted the whole apartment painted white. Walls, ceilings, crevices - everything. Precision Painting Plus was easy to communicate with over the phone and by sending apartment photos. The price quote was accurate and didn't change. They arrived and finished on time, very professional. And they didn't miss any green areas!

In late spring 2022, I needed to have the framing around my new garage doors painted. The framing, however, was pressure treated lumber and the oils needed to evaporate before painting could begin. The work was started in September, after the pressure treating evaporated, and was completed in one day. Work included filling any defects in the wood, priming, coating, and second coating the wood. The job was more expensive than other quotes that I received but I think in this case, the extra cost was worth it. I'm pleased with the job that was done.

This company don't seem to care much about their business. I was supposed to have a free estimate today at 6pm, and nobody came out so I decided to call and see what was going on. The project manager was confused and stumbling over his words and said that he thought that I was supposed to be rescheduled which I never heard about. Then proceeded to give me an estimate over the phone without even knowing the measurements of the rooms and I offered to measure them real quick with a laser measure and he told me it was fine and then quoted me $360. Not impressed with the service here I will be using somebody else.

I hired Precision Painting Plus to fix water damage caused by a busted pipe. They were supposed to put new sheet rock on a part of my dining room wall, repaint both the dining room and living room, install new sheet rock on about 15 feet of wall from floor to ceiling in my downstairs room, replace the ceiling (room size is around 16x20), paint the entire room and ceiling, and replace and stain the molding and woodwork in the whole room. They finished the job within the agreed timeframe. The quality of their work was amazing. The workers were professional, tidy, polite, and accommodating. I couldn't have asked for a better job. I highly recommend them.

Precision Painting Plus was really expensive, not very professional, messy, and not very nice. They painted my living room and main bedroom, and they also primed a second bedroom and the hallway. They didn't even bother to sand the french pocket doors before painting, so the paint started coming off after just 2 days. They didn't bother to use tape to protect any of the hardware, floor, or glass on the french doors, so there was paint all over my doorknobs, floor, and doors. When I told their workers about the paint on the glass, they just told me to "scrape it off with my finger nail". After pointing out the areas that needed fixing, it took them 2 more tries to get it right. At that point, I asked for a discount since they couldn't or wouldn't fix the problems properly. They only gave me a small amount back, which didn't match the original estimate, so I asked for a breakdown of the costs. They said no and told me it was unreasonable to ask for that. Then, they had the nerve to demand payment of the remaining balance less than 5 days after they finished the job. They even threatened to send me to collections without giving me the invoice I had asked for.

This paint company is so full of themselves and not professional at all. They use drop clots (whatever that is) and they even mention it in the estimate. They are so sneaky and mean, and their prices are way too high. They lie about the services they offer and don't even bother to come and give the estimate in person, even though they say it's free. How rude! The painter talked to me like I was a little kid, telling me to calm down and speak softly in my own house. Can you believe that? And then he tried to tell me how to do other projects like replacing the carpet, like it's any of his business. He even mentioned cracks in my roof, like what? He didn't even bother to measure properly, even though he kept saying he needed to. And then he had the nerve to say that patching drywall is like doing open heart surgery or fixing the foundation. It's just patching, come on! He basically made fun of the damage on my walls and tried to justify charging me more. He stayed way too long, insulting a single mother and widow like me. They must think they can take advantage of vulnerable people like us. When I called back and asked if they overcharge based on where you live or who lives in your house, the manager yelled at me. And their phone number doesn't even work properly. They even denied helping me with replacing my door. A professional is not just some fancy guy dressed up and making promises. I didn't even want to hear him talk, I just wanted him to measure and give me a price. Clearly, they are not honest and the ComplaintsBoard.com should not support this kind of business.

I hired Precision Painting Plus to skim coat and paint my ceiling, repair and paint the walls, and install baseboards. I worked with a person named *** from the company. The skim coating of the ceiling and the painting went well, and the ceiling turned out smooth and nice. However, before starting, *** promised to remove all the lighting fixtures to keep things clean, but they didn't do it. When it came time for final payment, *** agreed that I wouldn't have to pay for a small part until they came back to clean the lighting fixtures. But they never did, and *** never mentioned it again. This was the first sign that something was wrong with the project management. It was also difficult to get in touch with ***. He didn't respond to calls and ignored text messages. It took a lot of effort to communicate with him. During our conversations, he always blamed others for everything, like when he said that the exterior painters stole his blue tape. He would promise to come in the afternoon or the next morning, but then he wouldn't show up or let me know what was happening. It would have been better if he just updated me instead of staying silent. The walls were painted more or less well, but they didn't meet the promised ETA. Even the painters disagreed with ***'s estimations. They left paint drips here and there, painted over some outlet plates, and left visible gaps around other outlets. There were also spots on the walls where the paint was peeling off and some areas that weren't sanded properly. *** promised that they would come back soon to fix these issues, but two weeks later, nothing had happened. The last part of the project was to install the baseboards. Their first attempt was really bad, and even *** agreed that it was done poorly. So, with a two-day delay, they finally completed the baseboards. Unfortunately, while reinstalling the baseboards, they also scratched and dented the walls. The worst part of the experience was the communication with ***: missed calls, unanswered messages, and talking badly about everyone.

I hired Precision Painting Plus to paint my house. My house originally had two colors, beige and a grayish color. I specifically told them that I wanted to change the beige color to white and repaint the grayish color with the same color. The work was supposed to be finished by now, and I still owe the company $600. However, they left the job unfinished over 10 days ago. The gray part of the house was untouched and the white part was done very poorly. I have been calling and texting the company representative, ***, multiple times, but he keeps giving me the runaround and never gives me a straight answer about when they will come to complete the work. I am frustrated and seeking help from the ComplaintsBoard.com to get the job done.
