My husband of 4 months ordered me 12 red roses for our first Valentine's Day together. The order was confirmed on 12th February with a delivery date of 14th February.
The flowers left Nottingham and arrived at the National Parcel Hub on Thursday 13th Feb at 1058
Flowers received by Medway Mail Centre on Friday 14th Feb at 0140 (52 min drive from our home).
Flowers then went to Dover delivery office and received on Friday 14th Feb at 1030 (38 mins drive from our home)
Flowers then went BACK TO MEDWAY MAIL CENTRE (52 mins from our home) and were received there Friday 14th Feb at 2025.
Flowers were then sent to Margate (the original local depot they should have been received at instead of Dover) and received on Friday Saturday 15th Feb at 0854. Margate is 9 min drive from our home.
Flowers arrived at our home on Saturday 15th Feb at 0955.
All this time, the roses had no water, just a glycerin sheet, a temp measure whilst flowers are in transit for 24 hours. Most professional companies include a bag of water.
If these flowers had been delivered to the correct depot (Margate) they would have been received on the morning of 14th Feb (Valentine's Day). Receiving the day after is a little like getting your wedding or funeral flowers the day after the event!
On arrival, one of the roses was completely dead and the others struggling as they had been travelling unnecessarily for so long. The end result is that a week later I have thrown in the bin as they never opened and just wilted and died no matter how much I tried to get them to take up water. Absolute disgrace and a calamity, to say the least.
Prestige Flowers response has been outrageous. No refund. Not interested. Taken no responsibility and are only concerned with the fact that they never guaranteed the date. No comment on the mistakes made during delivery, no apology, no acknowledgement of responsibility. My husband has ordered from this company twice before and I guess got lucky, which is not exactly great for a company is it? I did some research and was horrified to see the reviews and low markings for this company. I am amazed that they are still in business. I can only assume that if everyone checked reviews before using, they would go out of business. Such a shame as how difficult can it be to run an online floristry company?

I bought some flowers for a friend who had been suffering with postnatal depression, the flowers were marked as delivered and as she wasn’t in at the time, they were marked as left in her safe place (which is inside a communal area in the property). When she got home, I asked her to check her safe place. Which she did, no delivery. After checking with neighbours and walking the perimeter of the building, still no delivery could be located.
So I checked the delivery confirmation which just showed a picture of a hedge outside the front of her door (with no evidence of a package even showing).
So I contacted prestige customer services, asking for them to send out another package. As with most companies I was met with the usual scripted chat of ‘ have you checked with neighbours’ etc. After explaining, we had done all this, and sending them a picture of the ‘hedge’ I was told, that because the order was marked as delivered and it matched the postal address then there is nothing they could do, even though the so called safe place wasn’t even the requested place, and technically as there is no physical picture of the item in the proof of delivery, there is no proof that they were even left there.
I am aware that the delivery aspect is out of their control, however they are employing the courier to carry out this task on their behalf!
Their customer service is appalling and complete unwilling to help. Looking at other reviews on here, it would seem I’m not the only one!
