Horrible Customer Service and Policies
My flight was cancelled and I needed to cancel my car rental. Per. pricelines website I needed to cancel online. After cancelling online I was denied a refund, because I cancelled online. This dumpster fire company has been problems for a us before, but will not be a problem again. We are done using them. After missing my trip with my son due to flight cancellation I spent three hours getting the run around and being transferred with each person giving me different reasons for denying us a refund. First it was "we cannot confirm your flight was cancelled, and then it was "we cannot refund your rental because you cancelled online." Even though this was the online instructions given by the website.
Desired outcome: Take you business elsewhere
Package
The priceline company sold me a travel package, when I went to pick up the car, they said I had to pay 270 for car insurance and I had already added it to the insurance package, apart from the bond, the hotel is rubbish Best Western Plus Miami-Doral Dolphin Mall

Wouldn't refund even when car rental company didn't have any cars
Thrifty car rental Maui had only a few agents for hundreds of rentals. took two hours to get a rental agreement, went to the garage and there are no cars and all those people who were in line are now in line waiting for cars. dozens and dozens of people ahead of me and 4 cars delivered in the next hour. Was told it would be at least another hour for a car...

I just booked a 6-night stay including breakfast at hotel Casa Iguana in Puerto Vallarta for 2 adults and 2 children. The receipt I received by email only shows for 2 adults. Can you please give me a receipt that shows the children as well? The hotel allows free stays/breakfast for those children under 10, but ours are 11 & 14, as entered in the search bar at Priceline.
Desired outcome: Send me a receipt that shows I paid for the children as well.
Sure stay hotel by Best Western
My friend and I had reservations at this hotel. We booked because of the pictures posted on Priceline website.
The hotel was nothing as shown. It is behind a truck stop! The rooms are so old they look dirty.
We did not feel safe at all . We of course can not get our money back.
We paid for this stay two rooms tow days plus had to pay for another hotel two rooms tow days.
No one seems to care
Desired outcome: I want my money back $306.56.
Priceline car rental
Priceline advertised a $36.71/day rental deal on a full-size sedan to be supplied by one of five car rentals. I booked for three days that came to $146.64 taxes and fees included. I added their insurance coverage for $13/day for a total of $185.54. The day after, I saw that $268.42 was withdrawn from my account and I went to my email to check the...

Booked a hotel room on priceline final price given was 27.35 then later two email receipts. One from priceline. One from agoda. I had no idea it would go through dishonest agoda. Anyway both receipts show a higher priced billed to my card that the price displayed, yes including taxes, upon payment. Worse I reached out via an app to priceline and only got a bot reply with a landlines number to call. It's insane. I have no idea what country that number us so I used agoda app and it has no record of my booking. However I also have an a
goda receipt. Very tricky way to increase final prices and avoid being contacted. I have screen shots but will share after a reply I don't want to risk my personal info being posted online
Desired outcome: Refund for over charging
Reservation cancellation fee
Be aware that priceline is not assisting travelers to Maui impacted by the tragic fires either by offering cancellation waivers and refunds. I contacted Priceline to discuss my situation on two separate occasions. They refused to waive my rental car cancellation fee when my cruiseline was forced to cancel the Maui port of call due to governmental travel restrictions while resources tend to rescue and recovery efforts after the fires.
Travelers be wary. In a time where communities and other travel providers are rallying to support those impacted by the tragedy, Priceline is all about penalizing their customers so they can make a few bucks. Book directly with the carriers and avoid Priceline at all costs.
My rental car company indicated that they could not help me because Priceline was in control of the booking and they REFUSED to cancel the reservation without their normal cancellation fees.
Desired outcome: Refund of cancellation fee
Past reservation
I want a refund for the amount I had to pay for all inclusive at my past stay when I booked it the site said all inclusive. I have talked to many reps no one ever calls back and customer service has been extremely poor stating that the site doesnt say all inclusive on it but in fact I have two screenshots from when I booked that it was labeled as all inclusive. Since then the site has changed and doesnt say all inclusive. This was false advertisement and I want to be reimbersed the 400 usd I had to pay to make it all inclusive. This is not my fault and obviously an error on your site. All reps say that they try to contact the resort and they cant get ahold of anyone but as soon as I hang up I call and someone answers everytime. I am extremely unhappy and I will continue to email call until there is a resolution besides telling me the site says not all inclusive. My screen shots say all inclusive 3 times on it and the book now button said breakfest lunch dinner and drinks included. My check in date was 8-5-23 to 8-7-23 at the mystique royalton resort in st lucia with a trip number of [protected]
I also have a ticket number of [protected]. I would appreciate if someone can actually call me back and help me out as this has been a horrible first time using priceline. My name is dave evers and my phone number is [protected]. My email is [protected]@gmail.com
Desired outcome: Someone call me as they say they will. Refund of extra costs i had to pay to get what the site said at the time of booking. Not have someone tell me i am lying and that the site doesnt say all inclusive and room change only
Rental car booking botched
I booked a flight and car rental through Priceline to travel from Hartford, CT to Tampa, FL on Sunday April 17 arriving at 12:22 am. My booking included a one-week rental of an SUV from Fox Rent-A-Car at the airport. My plane arrived in Tampa on time, but the Fox Rent-A-Car rental desk had already closed by midnight 12:00 AM. There were two other couples there, at least one (maybe both) were Priceline customers that also had pick-up times close to midnight when Fox was closed. One couple who had called Fox was told they close around midnight and the problem is with Priceline having made the booking. (I called Fox later and was told the same – it was Priceline’s error.) I called Priceline while in the airport garage and (after waiting a long time on the phone of course) was told they would only refund the amount paid but wouldn’t help me get another car – that was my problem, and that if there were no cars available, I would just have stay in the airport until 5 am when Fox would reopen.
Fortunately, I was able to book a car from Enterprise – the only agency still open. I was lucky as it was the last car they had, but it did cost $307 more than what was agreed to by Priceline (and just a sedan - not an SUV). After many subsequent calls and efforts in which Priceline tried to avoid my claim for the added cost, Priceline agreed they were liable for the additional cost, but I had to send a copy of the car rental receipt by email (they claim to have no mailing address). They know many people don’t have a scanner and will give up. They also don’t tell you they have set a 2MB limit on their incoming email, which of course caused my email to be rejected (as they intend). No notice is sent from their email and so months went by before I noticed. This was just the beginning of the run-around that lasted over a year – with multiple emails and phone calls (hours on hold) – with no responses or false responses that they were still “looking into it” every time I called. Most people give up after a year of their orchestrated runaround and lies, which is what they hope for, but I didn’t. One year later, they tell me for the first time, that my original receipt for the Enterprise rental sent to them a year ago was insufficient – even though they also had a copy of my credit card statement showing the amount I paid, and even after admitting in an earlier email that they had contacted Enterprise and “confirmed the details of my reservation.” Unbelievable nonsense! I think this was their last flimsy and dishonest tactic to avoid my claim. Surprisingly, even though it was a year later, I was able to get Fox to send me a final paid invoice and so I sent it to Priceline (and make it under 2MB). What would they say now – it was the end of the line for them – I had not given up! This is when they just stop responding, of course. I got no response to the invoice email or a follow-up. The last email from Priceline reads: “We have reviewed your issue again to confirm that we did not overlook anything that might support a more favorable resolution. Although we empathize with your situation, we are unable to assist you further in this matter.” Their file is closed. I wish someone would start a class -action for their unfair and deceptive business practices in avoiding payment of legitimate claims.
Desired outcome: Payment of the $307 additional cost plus an amount to compensate me for the time incurred in fighting all of their tactics.
Priceline cancelled my car rental but did not refund my funds!
I had a flight and with rental car purchase on June 5th for my Trip to Tampa on Tues Jun. 13th through Sun. June 17th. The algorithm selected Car Routes Rentals for my car request and selected the option Pay Now/ Save $2 for 4 days. I made my purchase and my reservation was booked. Once I arrived in Tampa on Jun. 13th, I was told that Car Routes Rentals was off-site of the Tampa Airport. I took their provided shuttle to the location. When I arrived which was around 10pm, the clerk checked my itinerary and asked to see my personal car insurance policy, since most time I use it when I rent vehicles. However, upon them checking, it was discovered that the collision coverage wasn't on my policy only Liability. I informed them that was a mistake that just happen when my Progressive policy was renewed and I'll contact them first thing in morning to fix it. The clerk told me that I either add their collision for $47/a day or I couldn't have a car. Even after I paid for it in advance. I told him that's almost $200 is outrageous, plus I need to have an extra day added that was missing. I asked if my itinerary could be adjusted for the next day morning, so I'll have time to call Progessive and have them correct my car insurance policy and have Sunday added. I told was told no! If I came back in the morning, I would have to pay extra for a different car if my requested one wasn't available. After all the frustration, I ordered an uber to take me to my hotel and deal with it all in the morning.
The next day, I called my insurance and had them add collison back to my policy, but was told that it would take 24hrs to show. I call Car Routes to info them that my policy was corrected and provided them with the reference number. I was told that wasn't good enough to get my car rental! That when I called priceline customer service to inform them on what I've been experiencing with their car rental vendor. The agent told me that there was nothing they could do against their vendors and hung up. I call back, same treatment. I was very dissapointed! I took another uber back to Car Routes Rentals. I was told that my itinerary for the previous day couldn't be found in their system. Nobody could explain how that happened. Just look at me with a blank face. I could believe it and asked for a refund. I was told it was nonrefundable and I'll have to dispute it with my credit card company, which was Barclay Priceline Visa (I'm a new Customer smh) and Priceline. I still needed a car rental for my vacation,(I already took 2 ubers as is) so I made a new reservation for Wed. thru Sun. and paid for Priceline Collision for $13/day. The new reservation cost double amount of the original one.
I filed a dispute for the charges with Priceline Visa Customer Service, however thier agents were not any better than Priceline customer service and I'm a Gold Tier customer with their credit card. It was the same temperment by same people that probably works in the same building! After three days, my car rental dispute was denied by mail. A package was sent to my home from Priceline Visa with a copy of my itinerary and a denied letter for reason of it being non-refundable, which I wasn't aware of during purchase because it only showed at the very bottom of the itinerary in small font. I then learned that Priceline owns Car Routes Rentals in Tampa, FL.! I called Priceline Customer Service about the conflict of interest and to dispute it with them. The agent saw the 2nd Car Routes Rental reservation that was made with my debit card and the old one that somehow "Disappeared" at Car Routes. Within a few days of my dispute with Priceline, the orginal reservation was canceled. The agent said it was refunded and should show on my Priceline Credit Card within a few business days.
Three week passed and the credit still didn't show! Priceline Visa said the charge was nonrefundable, even if I didn't receive rental car. I said impossible, Priceline canceled it and refunded it! In my frustration, I called Priceline and merged the phone call so both parties could speak to each other and resolve the conflict. I spoke with Priceline agent Niev. She talked with Priceline Visa Card Dispute Agent Alex abd confimed the cancelation and refund. Then her story abruptly change to saying the car rental couldn't be refunded once Alex pressed the issue of Nonrefundable as he proceeded to correct her. She said your right and asked for us to hold. I did, Alex Hungup! When she return 4 minutes later, she upon futher investigation, the reservation was Nonrefundable. I asked to speak with her supervisor immediately because lies were being told. That was a mistake! Niev supervisor refuse to answer my question of "How could Priceline not refund a canceled reservation"? I asked him several times. The supervisor refuse to answer my question, which was now meaning fraud and theft of services. He kept talking around my question and speaking over me. Finally he said thanks for calling Priceline and Hungup as I was telling him not to. This all happened today!
I was so upset for having my entire morning wasting with these incompetent, lazy, rude, professional liars that represent Priceline as a whole. I never had to go through such blantant manipulation and foul manner from service provider and shame on Priceline for deceiving their customers out of money and protected courtesy. I will esculate this futher because if thisbhappen this easily and callously to me, I know there's many other victims.
Thank you reading, I had to explain this ridiculous corruption in its entirety to get the full scalel, so no one else will become a victim of these scams.
Desired outcome: I want the refund credit back to my credit card since the car rental service wasn't provided by the merchant. Thank you!
Motel reservation at Los Angeles LAX INN /SUITE CA
I book a double bed at the Los Angeles LAX INN/Suite/ CA in July 27-31 of July.
A few hours later I call Priceline and ask them to cancel July 27 only and the Hotel agree to cancel one day. When we get to the Hotel on July 28th the Hotel said we did not have any reservation. We had to find another Hotel to stay that night and pay more money . We had to use two Hotel one for the 28th and another for 29th to the 31th due to availability. We are asking price line to refund all our money, and it has been three weeks now and we still don't have an answer from Priceline.
Thank you

Rental issue
I was to rent a car from easirent a priceline partner on 7/12 they did oto show up to get me at the airport or several other families. Resulting in having to get a second rental which was the only car the new company had left last minute I was told I would get a refund of the original amount which on 8/4 I did. But I was also told that I would be reimbursed for the difference in the other rental which one month later I have not. I was told today 8/7 because it was not the same type of car I got it was not being reimbeursed. I could not get the same type I took what was left as it was late in the day and I had waited over an hour in 100plus heat for a car rental place that never showed up
Desired outcome: i need remibursed for the additionl rental difference and now since it has taken so long the interest charges that should have never been incured.
Hotel Motel Kansas City missouri
WE check in on WEDS Aug 2 2023 at the Motel 6 in Kansas City Missouri I made reservations on my Priceline Account at [protected]@yahoo.com I am a vip blue and I always try to book thru your sight ! This trip was the worst trip I have ever been on, From the airline tickets with American Airlines which I also book with you to the one last hotel Motel 6 other reservations with other Hotels were fine. I have take many pictures of this motel and have all documents for my 18 hour plane delay into Missouri as well as the trip out of Missouri and texas to home...I am disabled so I had to be taken every where by wheelchair! The Motel6 idea of a handicap bathroom was a nightmare there was mold and broken items like the sink and only 2 small towels no blankets and only 2 pillows for the bed which look like a roll away bed on a metal frame. My friend and I were stranded for 2 days because we had no car . We call a uber friend Shirley on thurs Aug 3 to pick us up and she said this was the worst place to have ended up at which we already knew by this point. She had told us this place just opened back up after a Bed Bug infestation and now all my stufff is out in my garage back home Wisconsin because I dont want to take the chance on the bugs in my home! I would like to be contacted asap at [protected] Dana Stanaszak thank you Aug 5th 2023
Desired outcome: A complete refund of our trip including airfair and Lyft Expenses which I ALSO used priceline.com which I must say where over the top yet I had the nicest driver on the planet ...but it cost over $150 in excessive charges!!!
Hotel cancellation
I was looking for a hotel with airport shuttle service since my son would not have a rental car. Priceline site stated the hotel, Grand Hotel Orlando at Universal Blvd had free airport shuttle service. The day before he traveled, my son called to find out how to get the shuttle to the airport. Hotel stated they do not have airport shuttle only shuttle service to Disney. He asked them to cancel. He was told he had to cancel on Priceline. Since I made the reservation, he asked me to call. I first called Priceline and was disconnected several times while being placed on hold. I was off and on with Priceline for over 4 hours. They stated their 3rd party was not answer them about cancellation and refund. I have emails, screenshots, etc. of Priceline saying they would cancel but waiting for 3rd party. I did not get my refund because they said the room was a "no show". How can that be when we tried cancelling before my son even traveled. I have screenshots of Priceline stating they were canceling on 7/15. Hotel was reserved for 7/16. I called the hotel to let them know of issue. However, the person I spoke with was very rude and said she would cancel. She said it was not the hotel's issue and I needed to contact Priceline. I told her I did but she was adamant it was a Priceline issue, and they did not have airport shuttles. I called Priceline again with the information the hotel worker stated. I was then told Priceline had cancelled but waiting on 3rd party for refund and Priceline would get back with me. I only received 3 emails after the fact I had to keep calling asking for status. The last email stated I was denied due to no show. I tried to upload the emails and screenshots but not the right format.
Desired outcome: Since Priceline website was misleading about hotel having shuttle, I just want my refund. I can provide all the screenshots, emails, etc regarding this matter. Priceline never cancelled.
Used service to reserve rental car but no cars
I used Priceline to reserve and schedule a rental car a NuCar. When I arrived there were no cars available. The NuCar response was to call Priceline. I know this is primary an issue with NuCar not Priceline but they are your "partners". I called Priceline and took more than 30 minutes to "connect" with someone, I escalated to a supervisor will no help to move or set a new reservation for me. Basically told "your on your own" to fix and resolve.
Desired outcome: Agents, the Priceline processes and system should empower agents to really help resolve issues, not just throw it back on the customer to fix it own their own. It is WHY we choose to use a service like Priceline!
Hotel

Flight booked on July 11, 2023 cancelled on July 12, Priceline took my money and did not wanted to fix the situation or return the money
I booked a flight on 7/11/2023, Miami to Doha Qatar from July 20 returning July 29. The time to cancel was 24 hours the reservation. I called on 7/12/2023 to cancel online reservation and their page only cancelled the departing flight with no option to cancel returning flight by Priceline statement. I was charged $1,000.00 and no refund per their policy, the returning airline "Finnair" said any cancellation or refund has to be dealt with Priceline as an agency doing the booking. I have been calling to make a the returning flight reschedule and now they are telling me it has to be from same airline Finnair. When I look online the flights through airline Finnair was available, then called Priceline and they kept telling me there are no flights and I cannot change airline. They do not care for customer assistance in reaching a solution and only say sorry. I need to get my money or flight because they do not want to assist. Customer service is poor quality as no type of care for customer in a need to resolve the situation. today 7/28/2023 I have called many times Priceline to find a solution and no one helps but comments sorry the policy do not protect consumers.
Desired outcome: Please refund my money. Solution that I do not lose all money.
Service
