PRO-AQUA This Company is using the same scam tactics as the national company. They promise you rebates on food, restaurants, gas, and then when you send in the receipts, you find the company has gone out of business. I spent 6 months trying to track the company down after they moved, only to be told that they are not required To update their new name and location to previous customers. Why do they give a 5 year parts and labor guarantee if they are not there to honor the contract. The latest scam is they will give you $1000.00 worth of food coupons, but they do not tell you that you have to send $2.00 plus postage for processing for each $10.00 worth of cupons that you wish to receive. It would be cheaper to clip the coupons out of the paper yourself, and not pay the $2.00 fee + postage+checking Fees.
These people are con artists selling a german, overpriced vaccum cleaner, by telling you its a air cleaner

The cord gets burning hot and I have to use a pot-holder to unplug it. The pro-Aqua Machine my friend bought about a week later... blew and belched smoke through out the house not even a month after they bought it.. Same rep, same company. The agent that sold it to my client, is no where to be found. So much for a 5 year warranty. They now have worthless machines that they spent $900.00 on.
Bad news? This is NOT a great machine. Two of my clients bought the same deal. There's no one around when they break down. So... go ahead and tell me how great a machine this is. The company states they do not give refunds and they are sorry for our inconvenience, however they have many Pro-Aqua Vacs with, the same warranty if I would like them to send out another representative to give us another demonstration.
Excuse me!
Don't go telling me about this being a great machine when the company refuses to take responsibility for them once the contract is signed and their rep is out the door driving down the road. I've tried to get a hold of that representative since the day after he sold it to my client and that was last August 2011.
I will never recommend this company or machine to anyone! To think the Rep dropped the price down from 1, 500.00.
Pro-Aqua Vacuums- DON'T BUY THEM! FRAUD, SCAM, LIARS, BUYERS BEWARE!
Pro Aqua's separator is a copy of rainbow's, the separator have some huge gaps! The dust will go into the motor! Using such vacuum cleaner, will have no use at all, because as you are sucking the dust in, it will come out from another side!
I purchased my pro aqua 6 months ago and I love it! My husband is a combat veteran from Iraq and one of his health issues is 30% loss of breathing capacity. He used an inhaler almost daily and a steroid inhaler when his breathing got really bad. We have 2 dogs and they of course shed. This vacuum picks up dirt and dog hair like no other vacuum I have ever used. Think about it. When I vacuum, the dirt and hair go through water which keeps it from coming out the exhaust! There was no way we could keep up with keeping a Hepa filter clean. The dog smell; and dirt particles were easy to see. My husband no longer uses his inhaler unless we go to a high altitude. My dogs get vacuumed with the attachments and enjoy the body massage! It was spendy but worth it! The seller, not the product is at fault. My salesman did all that he said he would do.
I purchased a Pro Aqua 6 months ago and I love it! My husband is a combat veteran from Iraq and one of his health issues is 30% loss of breathing capacity. He used an inhaler several times a week and at times a steroid inhaler when needed. We have 2 dogs and you know dogs shed. With my old vacuum you could smell the dog smell as well as see the dirt particles in the air. We could not keep up with cleaning and replacing the Hepa filter which is spendy. My Pro Aqua has no smell, no dirt particles in the air and no filter needed! My husband no longer uses his inhaler! I am amazed at how much dirt and dog hair this machine can pick up with one passover when my old machine could not do it with 6 passes over the same area. Its a little spendy but really worth it. The bad experience would be the salesman not the product. Our salesman was professional but not pushy. He did everything he said he would do.
here's the problem with using something that sucks as powerful as this, without an exhaust filter. It blows 95% of what it took in right back out. Very little of it actually attaches to the water. circulating in the base..enough does to form a small film in you water. Basically it's taking the old "light" cigarette scam and transferring it to a vacuum. Same thing, you're still getting just about the same amount of tar and nicotine, but thinking you've significantly "cut down",
You could..leave a tray of water lying out around your house for a day or so, come back and inspect it, and find the same film on it without doing anything. Now did doing that, significantly cut down on dust, mold and pollen in your house? This actually makes more dust, pollen, and and mold airborne! Here's the proof! Actually leave out trays of water! Leave them out for days without using this vacuum, then refill and use it for a few days..those trays will be significantly MORE filmy after a few days of you using their "air purifier"
I purchased a Pro Aqua three months ago. I am still trying to get the beater bar attachment for the carpets replaced since it never worked after the third day I had it. I contacted them four times so far and could not get the salesman to come back. Yes the unit does clean the air but I bought it mainly to get rid of the dust and dirt in my carpet. My old vacuum is doing the job that I paid good money for the Pro Aqua and wish that I still had my hard earned money. I told them last call that I wanted my money back and they could have their machine since I can't get someone out here. All I am getting is the run around with numerous excuses. Save your money and don't buy from door to door salesmen. I should have learned my lesson but was stupid and let them talk me into buying their unit.
The company is truly a scam believe me when I say this they will say anything to get u to work for them to only keep feeding u lied that u are going to receive a pay check with or without sales then when its time to get paid that's when there true colors come out and they try to tell u its based on commision when they said it wasnt and try to find any little reason to not pay u . Scam if u need money get a real job where u ccan claim taxes don't feed io there lies!
He now is scamming with ritello distribution. Watch out for him. Hes a lying sack of [censor] who takes advantage of underprivelaged people who actually need work.
I purchased the Pro Aqua years ago and regretted spending so much money on it fairly quickly. As an air filter, it’s noisy! Even when turned down and pulling in less air, it’s noisy. The salesman called it “white noise.” I hate white noise. I want quiet or music. After awhile, with all the moisture involved for filtration and vacuuming, it started blowing mildew through the house—Something to consider if you live in a humid climate. Mildew is NOT healthy! Also, it’s accumulated inside the motor housing, which is impossible to sanitize without taking it apart! Maybe that’s why the salesman was pushing the fragrances, which had no listed ingredients. Clean isn’t supposed to have a smell.
To empty the bucket of all the dust and debris from cleaning, the sludge has to be dumped somewhere. There’s no way all that sludge is going down my sink! So I had to dump it in the yard and hose out the bucket, then hose off the bottom of the machine after when cleaning my house. How was I going to do that in the winter if temperatures are freezing? Plus, I had to pick up the dried sludge a day or so later with a poop scooper to throw it away. What a lot of extra work to add to the task of housecleaning !
The salesman, who several people in the Richardson/Dallas area have mentioned here, did show up a couple of days later when I called that the vacuum wasn’t picking up already. Turns out there’s a gooseneck that clogs easily at the connection of the floor brush attachment. I tried to get out of the financing and return the machine, but they and the salesman weren’t going to make good, so the piece of $#&% takes up room in my closet. The little room filter that is much quieter—which Scott Ramos said he would throw in since I was buying the big machine, but later I discovered was added to the total—accumulated red algae and had to be cleaned daily. Not just changing water, but scrubbing-all-the-surfaces-daily cleaning.
The reason I’m just now writing about this product and sale experience is I had a need for a wet vac this past weekend. Yay! It did it’s work and it’s back to collecting dust in the closet.
