PureVPN Review: From Bomb to Hot Mess - Not Worth the Money Anymore
PureVPN used to be the bomb, but now it's just a hot mess. I've been a subscriber since 2018, and back then it was all good. But after they moved to the British Virgin Islands in 2021, everything went downhill. The VPN just doesn't work like it used to, and the customer service is straight up trash. I had three years left on my subscription, but I just cancelled it because it's not worth the money anymore. Save yourself the trouble and don't bother with PureVPN.
PureVPN Review: Simple and Effective Online Security Solution
PureVPN is the real deal when it comes to online security. I was really impressed with how easy it was to set up their software. Unlike other VPN providers, I didn't have to be a computer genius to get it up and running. I hate dealing with installation issues and annoying marketing add-ons, but PureVPN saved me from all that hassle.
If you're looking for a simple and effective online security solution, I highly recommend PureVPN. Their software is user-friendly and their customer support team is always ready to help. Plus, their servers are fast and reliable, so you can browse the web with confidence.
I've been using PureVPN for a while now and I haven't had any issues with it. It's a great way to protect your online privacy and keep your personal information safe from prying eyes. Whether you're using public Wi-Fi or just browsing the web at home, PureVPN has got you covered.
Overall, I would definitely recommend PureVPN to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use VPN service. It's a great way to stay safe and secure online without having to deal with any complicated software or installation issues. So if you're looking for a simple yet effective online security solution, give PureVPN a try today!
Not Recommended: PureVPN Review - Slow Speeds, Unreliable Billing Practices
PureVPN is not the best VPN service out there. The app is not user-friendly and it takes a while to connect to the USA. Instead, it always suggests connecting to a cheaper country. Even when using their FAST service, the speed is not as fast as expected. On a gig fiber connection, the download speed is only up to 60 meg.
However, the biggest issue with PureVPN is their billing department. They are not trustworthy and fraudulent. Even after deciding not to renew, they still charge my credit card without my consent. Even after contacting them, they still continue to do it. It's a shame that they can't be trusted with their billing practices.
Overall, I would not recommend PureVPN to anyone. The app is not user-friendly and the speed is not as fast as expected. The billing department is also not trustworthy and fraudulent. It's better to look for other VPN services that are more reliable and trustworthy.
Disappointed with PureVPN's Recent Performance and Reliability
Been using PureVPN for over 5 years now and I gotta say, I was pretty impressed at first. The service was good, connections were fast and reliable. However, there were times when my Mac didn't renew its DHCP and IP4 settings properly, but I don't think that's PureVPN's fault.
But lately, for almost 5 months now, I've noticed a drastic limitation in speed, reliability, and service. It's been a real bummer. I've even noticed signs that they might be actively logging, so I'm just being careful and aware.
Honestly, I'm not too happy with PureVPN anymore and I'm thinking of moving to another reliable party. It's a shame, really.
Disappointing Experience with PureVPN: Unreliable Connection and Inconsistent Customer Service
I've been a loyal user of PureVPN for almost three years now. At first, it was a great experience, but unfortunately, over the past year, it has become quite terrible. As someone who relies on a VPN for online security and privacy, it's crucial that it works flawlessly. However, with PureVPN, I've been experiencing issues every time I try to connect.
Most of the time, it won't connect on the first try, and even when it does, the speed is incredibly slow. On the rare occasion that it's fast, I can't connect to my network printers or drives. The customer service representatives suggest trying different protocols, which I've done multiple times, but the issues persist. It's frustrating because everything may work on one protocol for a day or two, and then it's back to square one.
When I've spoken to the advisors, they often contradict each other. One will say that one protocol is the best, while the other will say that it's not. As someone who works with systems and networks, I'm struggling to make sense of it all. I would honestly advise anyone to avoid PureVPN and save themselves a lot of pain and wasted time.
Overall, I'm disappointed with the decline in quality of PureVPN's service. It used to be a reliable and trustworthy VPN, but now it's become a source of frustration and inconvenience. I hope they can improve their service in the future, but for now, I'll be looking for a new VPN provider.
PureVPN Review: The Best VPN Service with Strong Team and Affordable Pricing
PureVPN is the bestest vpn service out there in the market. They have a super strong team and experience of over 8 years. They have grown a lot in the last few years, almost reaching 100 countries with servers and thousands of IPs. They keep adding new stuff all the time to make sure they fulfill all the users' needs.
I have personally used Dedicated Streaming, Dedicated IP and SmartDNS addons. Each of them is super useful and they work really well. VPN can be a bit technical and difficult to understand at times, but PureVPN support team is really helpful. They take good care of the customers, no matter where you're from and even if you don't speak perfect English. They will get the job done for you right away.
I got a really good deal during the holidays and with the annual plan, it costs me less than $4 a month. That's super cheap for all your online security, unblocking and streaming needs.
I would definitely recommend PureVPN to anyone looking for a reliable VPN service. It works great from the US to China and the quality of service is amazing.
PureVPN Lifetime Subscription Scam: Don't Get Suckered In!
So, like a lot of people out there, I got suckered into PureVPN's lifetime subscription scheme. They were selling these subscriptions through stacksocial since 2015, and when I activated mine, I found out that they only gave me 5 years in their control panel. They said that their system had limitations and that I had to contact them after the 5-year term to renew my subscription. What a load of baloney!
PureVPN is the biggest con in the business of conning, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. Just before 2020, which was only 4.9 years after they started selling lifetime subscriptions, they announced that they were changing their system and stopped selling any more lifetime subscriptions. When I contacted them to renew my 5-year subscription, they didn't honor it and just told me that "they will contact their affiliates to work something out"! What kind of nonsense is that? They sold me a lifetime subscription, and now they're telling me that my subscription depends on their affiliates?
And it gets worse. My 5-year subscription has ended, and it's been 20 days since I last heard from them. They sold me a lifetime subscription for a higher price, and then they didn't honor it. They just stopped the subscription after 5 years because they have problems with their third-party affiliates. But that's not my problem. My contract was with PureVPN, and it was their own product. They confirmed many times in emails that my subscription was lifetime.
If you don't believe me, just read other reviews. I'm not the only one who got ripped off by PureVPN. They won't honor any of their lifetime subscriptions, and I wonder if they'll even honor their other subscriptions that have a longer period.
If you're still thinking about going with this company, which I don't recommend, don't pay for longer subscriptions. You won't get anything out of it. And even if you do get a subscription, be aware of their logging activity. They claim to have a no-log policy, but if you search Google, you'll see that's not true.
In conclusion, stay away from PureVPN. They're a bunch of con artists who will take your money and run. Don't make the same mistake I did.
PureVPN Review: Poor Service, DNS Leaks, and Buggy Software
I've been using PureVPN for a long time now and I used to think they were the best in the business. However, things have changed recently and they're not as good as they used to be. They claim that they don't keep logs, but if you read the fine print, you'll see that they actually do keep logs of your connection time and data usage. They don't log where you go online, but they do log what you do online.
Another problem I've had with PureVPN is that they suffer from DNS leaks. I've tested this on doileak.com a few times and found that even though I was connected to a VPN server and my IP address was hidden, the DNS still came from my home ISP. This is not good at all.
The software updates frequently, but I've found that they often introduce more bugs than they fix. The Windows app is quite buggy and I've had to disconnect the VPN and restart the software a few times just to get my internet connection back.
The pricing is great, but the customer service is not so great. The "Live Chat" is not very "live" and I suspect that it's actually a chat bot most of the time. The customer service people seem very robotic and don't really seem to care about helping you.
I've switched to another VPN provider that's just as easy to set up, much more stable, and has the same pricing. I won't say which provider I switched to because this is a review of PureVPN, not an advertisement for their competitors.
PureVPN used to be a great VPN provider, but they've gone downhill fast. If you look online, you'll see that they're slipping in the rankings because of their poor service and terrible customer service.
Mixed Experience with PureVPN: Speed was Good, but Privacy and Payment Issues Arise
I decided to give PureVPN a try since my current VPN service was about to expire and I wanted to explore other options. I opted for a one-month subscription to test the waters. I didn't experience any issues with speed, but I did notice a significant delay in establishing connections. It took about 15 to 20 seconds for the page to load after clicking on a link. I tried different servers, but the problem persisted. PureVPN suggested several solutions, but none of them worked. I eventually switched back to my previous VPN service, and the problem disappeared.
PureVPN claims to have a zero-log policy, but their privacy policy suggests otherwise. They collect data such as the day you connected to a VPN location, your internet service provider, connection length, and the number of connections you make. They use this information to categorize your profile as a power, core, or casual user. While they claim that this data is not connected to your identity, it's still logging. So, the zero-log policy is misleading. If you purchase a dedicated IP address, it's tied to your account and email address, making everything you do online traceable back to you. So, where's the privacy?
Another thing to watch out for is the ongoing payment that PureVPN creates when you sign up for a single month. They set up a recurring payment with PayPal or your bank, and you'll be charged monthly, even though you only signed up for one month. Fortunately, PayPal sends a notification of this, but your credit card company or bank may not.
Overall, I don't trust PureVPN, so I cancelled my subscription. They put up some resistance, even though their website claims "no questions asked." However, mentioning opening a case with PayPal quickly resolved the issue.
PureVPN Lifetime Subscription Scam: Breach of Contract and Terrible Customer Service
I bought PureVPN from Stackcommerce 5 years ago and they told me that I needed to contact them every 5 years to renew my lifetime subscription. Recently, I contacted them to renew my subscription and they tried to get me to switch to another VPN provider's lifetime deal. I refused and insisted on PureVPN, but they offered me the same lifetime VPN provider plus $20. I refused again because the alternate VPN they are offering has terrible speeds compared to PureVPN. They then offered to renew my PureVPN for 2 years if I agreed to no longer request an upgrade again. This was unacceptable as I purchased a lifetime subscription, not a 5 years + 2 year extension deal. I raised the legal repercussions of breaching a contract and they finally agreed to renew for 5 years and sent me a letter stating that they would continue to renew for the lifetime of the product every 5 years.
However, PureVPN worked for a few days and then stopped working, giving me a server error with code 5059. Upon contacting them, they told me that my service had expired. Despite sending them a screenshot of my PureVPN account showing an expiration date of Feb 2027, my original Stackcommerce lifetime invoice, my original PureVPN activation screen showing lifetime, and even Stackcommerce's letter of a few days ago confirming that my account had been renewed for an extra 5 years and would be renewed every 5 years for the lifetime of the product, my account is still not working.
I don't know what happened between Stackcommerce and PureVPN, but it's not fair that customers like myself are paying the price for their mess. This is not just unprofessional, but it's a breach of contract. If someone wants to start a class action lawsuit, please count me in. This is ridiculous.

PureVPN Review: Decent Service, But Beware of Lifetime Subscription Scam
I can't believe how ridiculous it is that PureVPN would sell lifetime subscriptions and then just cancel them after only 5 years. It's like they don't care about their customers at all! I bought my subscription through Stack Social and now I feel like I've been scammed. I thought I was getting a great deal, but now I'm left with nothing.
But aside from that major issue, I have to say that PureVPN is actually a pretty decent VPN service. It's easy to use and has a lot of great features. I especially like the fact that they have servers all over the world, so I can access content from different countries. And the speeds are pretty good too.
One thing I don't like about PureVPN is that their customer service isn't always the best. I've had a few issues in the past and it's taken a while to get them resolved. But overall, I think it's a good VPN service and I would recommend it to others.
Overall, I think PureVPN is a good choice for anyone looking for a reliable VPN service. Just be aware that if you buy a lifetime subscription, it might not actually last a lifetime. But if you're willing to take that risk, then I think it's worth giving PureVPN a try.
