On 9/14, I placed an online order to be picked up at QDOBA at Shields & Drake in Fort Collins CO 80526 on 9/16.The order was for a taco kit for 10, as well as a family taco meal for 4-5 that was for a family gathering at my home. I received a confirmation that my order was received & the payment of $205.66 on my VISA was received. When my son & grandson went to pick up the order, the counter person said there was confusion & they didn't have the order. I checked my phone & email only to find out that there was a problem processing my credit card sent to an email sent 1 hour before pick up time. Because I had a houseful of hungry adults & kids, I wasn't looking at emails. There should have been a phone call or text informing me of a problem well before 1 hour ahead of pick up since I placed it on 9/14. Right after the QDOBA email was sent, I got a fraud alert from my credit card bank. The bank worked to solve the issue, but the restaurant said they couldn't make the order as it was too hard for even my son to wait & pay himself. Because we depended on this to serve our guests, he ordered 14 taco meals with extra sides which was harder then making the original order. The worst part was . . . The place was out of chips for the extra queso & salsa that he paid for.so my son had to go to a store & buy chips.
Desired outcome: The outcome should be compensation for the original cost & an apology for the huge mess & inconvenience. My name is Kathleen Anderson email: [protected]@yahoo.com cell: [protected]
