Horrible
Made my first sale using this app on April 29,2021 and the funds still have not been released called customer service to find out all they could tell me was go to some website and chat with someone which I did and they didn’t even know what I was referring too when I mentioned this app the agent I chatted with online was with intuit. Turns out the app is run by green dot and the processing is ran by quickbooks they send you back and forth when there is an issue. Save your self the headache and find another service
It’s so useless
It’s one of the most useless app so far. I use Quickbook online for years until I find this one few days ago I tried it everything was fine until i sent a request to get paid. I got the money on the app the next day I was trying to look in a way and move my money all I got was my account is on hold I should call a number on the debit card. It’s so frustrating I haven’t even move out my money and it’s hanging there. I don’t know how to get this out. I feel like they are scamming people off their money. It’s so useless don’t use it
Can’t even apply for an account
I complete an application and I get a message that an account cannot be complete with the information provided. No explanation of what information is incorrect. The message suggests applying again but there is no way to do so. The only option given is to log out and upon logging in again the same message pops up with no option except to log out. Thus I’m in an infinite loop of logging in and out. Incredibly there is no option to get assistance either. I expected much better from a large company. This app is clearly not ready for use just yet.
The 4.3 rating is a scam
Wish I could give zero stars. Be sure to really read the reviews. Don’t be swayed by their fake reviews to boost their numbers. The whole app and banking process is outsourced. You will have delays, lack of explanation and funds upheld. I was just told that they made a “ business decision” on closing my account. They also refused to release the funds to me, or even to return the money to my customer as I requested. Why hold the money for “up to 270 days” according to their associate? Just return it back to the customer. Choose another option, there are many.
No problems
This is the first review I’ve ever written reason being I was scrolling down all the other reviews and basically all one star ratings so I figured I’d put one in for Quickbooks. I’ve been using it for about four months now I invoice all my customers thru the app and I’m alerted when they open the email and see my invoice and soon as it’s paid I’m alerted and I usually have e the money In my account available to withdraw in a couple hours. I’m a sole proprietor and do about 10,000 a month in revenue and I’ve had not one problem thus far with this app and couldn’t be happier.
Garbage
This money card/bank is worthless. I used Walmart Money card for years and it was packed with features. This card has NOTHING. Not integrated with Quickbooks as I initially assumed. Doesn’t have a simple feature to lock transactions that most cards now have. No ATM network for free cash withdrawal that I can find. Just used at the same ATM I’ve used other green dot bank cards for free...got nailed for $3.00. In addition I took out $500 cash and my debit card still shows the original balance...maybe the -500 will show deducted tomorrow? Lame. Don’t waste your time with this. Switching to NOVO because it integrates with Quickbooks.
broken app!
I now have money in an account. I have no access to no customer service to call no idea how to get this fixed. I have a worthless app that opens up has the spinning wheel of death does nothing and then crashes. You would think a company like quickbooks would hire better IT people.
if you’re looking to open a business account, look somewhere else because this company is a joke the money by QuickBooks app is a joke. It does not work at all. It is broken. It’s a hot mess.
and yes, for all your nerds out there I deleted the app re-download it it reset my network settings updated the app updated my phone. None of it matters. It’s just a broken hot mess
They stole my money
This is a worst app ever,,I opened up an account for for aunt business and ordered a card,,and my my aunt deposit money in the account and after 1 day they closed up the account without being asked for additional documents or anything and most thief’s kinda attitude is they closed up the account with money in the account,,and I have been trying to reach the customer service for the refund money bt they can’t find it anyhow,,now my aunt think that I stole her money,,,it’s was more than 800$+,,I am totally unsatisfied with their service and stealing attitude,,it’s been more than 2 months since they closed the account and still now they didn’t refund the money

WHEN I CALL THE BANK MY CALLS GO STRAIGHT TO INDIA, PAKISTAN AND THE PHILIPPINES, THEY GIVE ME THE RUNNING AROUND. Basically they stole my information and took over my account and phone number so when I call my calls go straight to them I can never reach the actual bank. I can never each someone in America that speaks English etc. I hire a lawyer to help me but the situation is still the same, I still have not receive my money.
The absolute worst
So I normally have written zero reviews on products before but this takes the gold. I have been on hold for 2.5 hours, no support, no individual customer service representative. Disconnected twice while waiting over 30 minutes a call. I have had 5 calls to them and in that time span I have sold a vehicle, vacuumed my entire house, prepped a house for sale, and still have yet to speak to anyone. I have had funds “pending” for almost a month.
If you are looking for a business solution to match your quickbooks online accounts avoid this sham and save yourself the trouble. It’s way easier to go with square and eat the fees to make it easier and write them off as expenses at the end of the year. Until Intuit figure out on time customer service agents that can take calls this won’t be a solution for anyone soon.
Horrible app
This is clearly something new! Signed up Saturday and tried to sign in yesterday and kept being taken to the get started screen. Signed up again and ended creating a duplicate account. If this is a new account and already having issues I DARE NOT put my money into this app. This is crazy then contacted customer service she said she could see I had a duplicate account but didnt kniw ehat options to give me from there. Very poor customer service. AND THE AUDACITY to only have a landing page as their website... WHEM THE APP DOESNT EVEN WORK. No thanks I just wanted a business bank account but better off sticking with a local bank because this DEFINITELY is not it. You guys have tons of money get better app developers bc THIS IS RIDICULOUS! For anybody thinking about this app DONT unless you wanna lose your money
Got Approved Now I Can’t See My Dashboard
So I signed up got approved and even claimed the free $5 for first time
Have an email that said money was transferred after I requested it form Money as instructed
Now when I sign in it says I have created a money account has a continue button and that redirects me to reapply and I did and get denied several times due to using same information likely
At first I could see the dashboard and my balance aswell as account number and routing number
Now I’m locked out of my account it seems
I bet the debit card shows up as I’m hoping
However there is no customer service number to be found so this is how I’m gonna communicate
I give 4 stars because I have only had like 5 minutes to interact with my account and almost added my personal bank account
Help how do I use this again and continue
Why is happening a glitch?
Horrible service
Stay away from this app! This is the first time I’m writing a review in the App Store and it’s only because of this horrendous app! The app is minimal and you can’t integrate your acct in Quickbooks and can’t be seen in that app at all! My initial deposit I made of 1k went thru and then the 2nd of 3K totaling 4K for my business they permanently locked my account since 3/7 and I have been fighting to get some answers and my funds! There is no support and Green Dot is the bank, it’s with and if you have any issues at all your sent in a merry go round of calls! They said they would return the money to the original bank that funded the account but it’s been almost a month! I’m going to take legal action to get my funds back! I found out I wasn’t alone and people have being fled along with this since late 2020 according to their support page!
Wouldn’t recommend
I initially signed up due to what I thought was convenience being offered but ended up being the complete opposite.
I was previously able to send and receive ACH transfers and a few months in they restricted the service from my account with no explanation or reasoning (they said they couldn’t provide one). Deposits took forever to clear. Customer service is a pain, most reps are rude, unaware of how to problem solve or answer questions and just tell you whatever to get off the phone (if you can get them on the line) or just blatantly ignore you.
I attempted to delete my account in January they told me it would be and was deleted yet it’s currently April and I’m still receiving account reviews. I’m unable to access my account via email to do it myself since that’s all they accomplished so essentially they’re getting credit for a dead account in my name. Truly wouldn’t recommend to anyone whatsoever.
Missing money app
I call this the missing money app. I signed up around 1.5 months ago. I processed many transactions and everything seemed ok. Then suddenly the issues started. I had a failed cash app transaction which was never refunded although cash app provided recipet of when the funds were sent back. After waiting a month the pending charge fell off only to leave my account with the same balance. Then suddenly my invoices stopped being deposited. If you try to call the number on the card. You’ll be connected to an idiot working abroad who will likely hang up because they just don’t understand. There’s no way to file claims or even escalate the claims on missing funds as they’ll come back and ask you to call the customer in order to get a trace code that doesn’t exist. At this point I ran around 10k with money app within a month and only saw 6k of it. Their accounting is screwed up and green dot bank will not help, what started as great became a nightmare.
Terrible
Absolutely avoid using them. I saw the other negative review and was hesitant to use the apps. I’ve been using smaller transactions from an account I own to test drive things and see how smooth the transactions occur. All was well until I placed a slightly larger amount in (under $2k). The money has long since posted from my outside account and is still showing pending in Money with no timetable for release noted. I assumed the delay was due to the banking holiday on Monday, so I sent another smaller amount to verify. It processed the same day.
I called customer service, and they were completely clueless about the app and for over 10 minutes, asked for identifying information I don’t have. We both realized the app obviously sent a request for callback from the wrong department.
After transferring, the new person was equally unhelpful. They stated “because the amount is different from other transactions it’s under review.” First, their transfer limit is advertised as $250,000. Holding a transaction of under $2k indefinitely is asinine and shows just how much of a nightmare things would be if I were to have used them as my main account.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I’ll be closing my account with them as soon as the money is returned.

Garbage app
The app freezes every time I launch it. You can’t accept customer payments with it when it freezes literally every time it opens. It’s unprofessional and embarrassing. And they don’t even offer a website to access the account so you can only access through the app which doesn’t work. Some “tech” company who’d tech doesn’t work!

Worst payment app ever!
I had 4 deposits made by clients and that was 3 weeks ago , all transactions were debited from their accounts , BUT ALL PAYMENTS ARE STILL IN PENDING STATUS AND HAVE NOT BEEN RELEASED.
I called Quickbooks, intuit , and every account linked to Quickbooks and everyone i spoke to didn’t have any clue about QuickBooks money and couldn’t help me

App crashing
Be careful small business owners. The application has been crashing for me for the past two weeks. They have no support to call, and there’s no way to get a hold of anybody to be able to resolve my issue. I’m not able to manage my money because I cannot open the application. I have tried on three different devices and it’s still not working.

Can’t log in to account
So I set up the account and got approved. The app is well designed and easy to use, and I was able to see my account balances. However, now when I sign in it just asks me to continuously reapply for the account and I can no longer go to my balances. Please fix this. I was already approved. Same problem as another reviewer, just hoping the card comes.

Won’t let me create an account
I was told about quickbooks by some associates and was excited to try it out, but every time I try to make an account on the app it tells me that it can’t create my account at the time, and to try again later. Not sure why I’m getting this error as I’ve checked and double checked my info multiple times and everything is right and it’s beyond frustrating.

This company took almost $3000 from me. I deposited my money and they shut my account down with no way to access it or nobody to call. They do not have good customer service. I have called, texted, emailed & tweeted. This is ridiculous! I was forced to file a claim with my bank that could take up to 90 days to “ maybe “ get my money back! Stay away! Horrible company!

Fees
If you are currently using PayPal...Square or another payment source my suggestion is you stay with it. I have used this service twice with incoming revenue of $800 and these guys charged me a total $50 for processing etc. for both of those transactions. Those fees in my mind relate to title pawn interest. If your customers have Venmo you can use that with no fees whatsoever.

This app is a joke! I’m canceling this garbage before I even get it setup ! Fix your bugs and issues and you will get more actual qualified users! I can’t even get my funding accounts set up ... your page to add my other bank accounts is frozen. It’s not on my end so don’t even try your excuses! Dam good thing I already have other real brick and mortar business accounts!

Don’t Do It !
They have costed me business cause I’m a small business owner and when I get a payment it’s for half down on the light I’m making and after the first payment that took 5-7 days to post to my account they said the next ones would be instant. And yet it’s been 4 days adhd I’m still waiting for it to go into my account m. I would strongly recommend do not use this as your business account.

It works
The product does the bare necessities of receiving income and paying for expenses. But I can’t fathom how a Quickbooks product is not able to be connected to the bank feeds in Quickbooks Self Employed or any other Intuit product. If you are looking to connect this to any online banking product it is unsupported, which means you will not be able to create any financial reports for your business.

They’ve held every payment I’ve received for “review” and when I’ve called no one can tell me why or how long it’ll be held for. I currently have over $1500 being held that every rep has told me should have been released two days ago, yet it has not been and no one can tell me why. This has happened every payment i’ve received. DO NOT USE THIS APP. Use square or paypal or ANYTHING ELSE THIS IS GARBAGE.

Account closed and I’m out of $280
They randomly closed my account after making me jump through hoops. I verified my account several times including sending in my ID. I spent hours on the phone to get my money back. This account is issued by GreenDot so it’s not a real account. Go elsewhere for your business account. I’m glad I was able to process payroll before they closed it right at closing so I couldn’t call anyone until the next day.

Loved everything about the information given for this app signed up and got it a little early then I would have need it then when I started using it my first payment. Was failed for an ACH transfer from my balance to a contractor whom now will not start the job until payment received for materials which is now putting our schedule completely behind for the opening of my business And so far waiting hours for help resolving this issue

I downloaded this when they offered $5 just for signing up. It took forever to even get the $5 and when I did I couldn’t even cash it out. A few days ago I went to log into the account and it told me the username couldn’t be found same with my TurboTax… Now all of my tax info is gone because I downloaded this app which was a scam and complete waste of time all they did was take money they “gave” and deleted a lot of important tax files!

Terrible
Terrible service, 7days for a first transaction hold(credit cards should be instant) they also told me after that 1-2 business days for credit card processing. CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS SHOULD BE INSTANT. I’ll be going back to PayPal, and I’ll be sure to discourage anyone else from using this service. For anyone who wants to download this, I highly discourage you to, and to use paypall. Card transactions are instant(as they should be) they don’t hold YOUR money.

Rendered Useless
If you already have an account and card, and you select Singh in, you do not go to your account. Instead it loops you back around to sign up for a new card. I have already setup the money account through QuickBooks online plus, so I am not clear as to why I can not just login to the account that I have. So there was really no point of using this if you don’t have a connected QuickBooks account, because otherwise you will not be able to pay eyes on the account or the money.

Still on hold
So I just started using this app because a friend told me about it and he said it’s trustworthy so I did and add my bank info and next couple days to check on getting pay my account was on hold and said to call the number on the back of the debit card which I haven’t gotten yet so i don’t know why it’s on hold for. Can y’all tell me why? It’s been a week already and I can’t even see my funds it says it’ll be on there in three days but don’t see anything just said your account on hold.
