I had availed a smart cash facility on 07 March 2018 for AED 12, 000 and I was charged the principal instalment and interest on 10 March 2018 of AED 183.97 and AED 150 respectively. I settled the smart cash facility on 28 March 2018 so effectively I should be charged interest of 21 days which has been charged. I have been charged interest twice of 150 DHS on 10 March 2018 and also 147.70 on 28 March 2018 (which is the settlement date of the smart cash). I should be charged interest once for the amount of days I have used the smart cash facility. I have tried calling the call center multiple time but no one has helped me regarding the same.

Hi, I just changed my job and it took me 3months for whole process. For my salary it comes in 4th month so past months I manage my payments even without a job and now my credit card is over limited and I am getting charge every month for over limit. I requested to collection representative to provide me a settlement plan as I have intentions to pay outstanding but with 100 calls on daily basis I have punished a lot and your collection want me to pay AED 1600 first may be to complete there targets, a client is suffering from hard times but they are continuously disturbing me mentally everyday. I emailed two times for same but didn't get any response and today I have received sms that they are presenting my cheque in my account for only delaying by one month. I need a proper solution and non disturbing collection person who will not irritate me for all the process please feel free to contact on my email below because of your collection department 100 calls everyday I will not able to answer unknown calls.

I changed my job and i joined my new organisation. It took me total 3months to join after resigning and i got my salary after 4 months. Still in these months somehow i manage to pay my card minimum amount. Last month i paid AED 675 and his month i was totally blasted due to other commitments. I requested to the agent for settlement plan but they said first i have to pay this 1600 then they will proceed. I tried to send emails but no response and now i got msg that they are proceeding with my security cheque. Dear Sir I purchase one I phone 7 bill no is, SI/MG1/03459/271217/00047 in 27th Dec 2017 with my RAK bank Credit Card End with 6006that time sharaf dg given one offer for installment plan 24 month payment I took same. I phone 7 mobile actual price was 2099.00 ADE and for installment 251.88 ADE total amount taken by me is 2350.90 ADE but sharaf dg not make installment with RAK bank so RAK take full amount 2350.90 ade for me. when I received my Rak Bank credit card Statement and I saw the didn't make 24 months installment plan, I call bank and ask why you didn't make installment plan the told me no one contract me for installment so how can I make Installment then I call to Sharaf DG and make a complain, complain no is 506988 against my Installment. I called several time but no one take proper response some time the said to me your Credit Card data is not availabal with your bank, then I called Rak bank and conform with bank bank said to me your data is with me no one from sharaf Dg contract bank so how can I make Installment plan some time he said to me bank call you you did't received every time Sharaf Dg Customer Care People make a different story, now Sharaf Dg tell me its RAK Bank Flout So please you Clear me who is the Defaulter you or rak Bank because I make a complement in Sharjah Economic Department the also Reply to me its RAK Bank Flout I when I call you you always say to me its Sharaf Dg flout please Reply me who is the Defaulter because I suffer too much

We as a company having car loans with Rak Bank since 4 years.
All the instalments are paid and despite that Dubai Police catches and hold our Vehicle .on Complaining the Bank and getting a call back, they simply closed our service request and doing nothing.
Totally unprofessional and unethical attitude of the bank.
The managers even have no proper knowledge to provide the anser to customer.
highly miscommitment by rak representative for personal loan
12th March 2018
I applied for Personl loan in february through their representative Mr Jon, before start my application i asked the person do i need to transfer my first salary to get the disbursed amount in my account after loan approval, he clearly said no i dont need. So i Got my approval in march after really long delay and amount came in my account but i cannt access that as the amount on hold because of non credit of my first salary.
Now i have the amount but caanot use, i feeling like stucking my neck with RAK bank as now i dont choice to go with some other bank .
This is really worst service and feeling cheated by RAK Bank.
I dont know to whom i should take this issue. as i cannot see their management emails also any where

credit card blocked without notice
My RAK Bank Credit Card Blocked without reason or notice.
I am holding RAK Bank Credit Card since 16 years and never ever defaulted any payments, all dues been paid in time, but ten days before I received SMS from RAK Bank saying my credit card has been blocked, I called their Customer Service but they unable to provide any firm answer, just said Bank blocked my card and even said no use of visiting branch, even they cannot help. Then I send an email to Bank, after couple of reminder they replied as Card has been blocked based on review of business. Not convinced with their reply, so visited their Qusais Branch but unfortunately same answer received from their customer service and said that it will not be reactivated anymore.
Just before card blockage I made excess payment of 5K to cover my child's school fees, the next day card blocked. When I asked them for refund my money, they asked to cancel my card which take 3-4 working days and need to wait 45 days to get refunded!, this is disgusting and ridiculous, NO reason, NO notice they block my card and showing no courtesy or respect to customer.
I believe media will take-up this matter n help with this situation.

I was requesting to Mr. Tejas thru emails (almost 5 reminders) to get the card closure documents, but, he not even respond to any of my emails.
Also I have visited his office in al qusais, They put me on wait almost 90 minutes, couldnt met him.
I would appreciate if you can help me to get this closure documents to prove my non liability with rak bank

04/03/2018 at about 11:00 am I called mr. Waled sallah with extension of 042914057 from the collection team and was asking for help and wanted to short out an issue regarding for the loan I ask him if he is the one in charge or the I am speaking to the right person and if he is the supervisor in the collection team that I can talk and help me with the issue. And he said yes... His talking very irritated to answer all my quires and even talking to me very unpolite and rude his shut down the phone in my face and called him back told me why you are calling me.. Very rude person unprofessional and his work doesn't fit his attitude as he his working in the company not a fish market.. I am calling as I am a customer and I seek advice for my issue I called with a good motivation that I can get a solution but these man is very inpatient and cursing me in arabic words..

poor services and time wasting customers services by rak bank
First of all, I want to introduce myself, my name is Naseebudeen.MA and I was one of the satisfied customers of RAK Bank from last 8 years, until, the last service, I received from Rak Bank.
Here I want to explain what exactly, is happening to me, from last one week;
I visited Rak bank Dragon mart branch, last Saturday 17th Feb 2018, I asked a Chinese guy, the process of getting the Cheque Book, he started explaining me, the process that, how I can get the cheque book and what documentation is required. The same day, I provided all the necessary documents, for the cheque book.
From next day Sunday, 18th Feb 2018, I am regularly visiting the RAK bank dragon mart branch, to ask, about my cheque book, now, it's been more than a week that, I am regularly visiting RAK bank and every day, they are saying "please come tomorrow, please come tomorrow" or check with reception.
Yesterday, when I visited the RAK Bank, a very nice guy sitting near to reception attended me, and he explained me briefly and nicely, the reason, "why, I'm not getting my cheque book on time is, my account is not cheque book account, it's just the Payroll Account".
My question is only this, if the same thing, that chinese guy had told me last time, I would have saved my time, I don't had to suffer a lot. I'm visiting daily, to ask about the cheque book and instead of getting the right reason, they are saying to come tomorrow to get your cheque book. This is totally disgusting and not bearable. I'm hurt, with your really non seriousness towards your old and dedicated customers.
Now, my situation is, I need to pay, my home rent cheque and today was, the last day to submit my cheque, how disgusting system you have for Customer Services.
I'm a RAK bank customer from last 8 years and I was very satisfied before, but now, I'm going to cancel my account from RAK Bank and going to shift to another good bank.

I have a credit card and instant cash loan with Rakbank, which has a missed 1 minimum payment. Upon receiving the 2nd statement. I have paid the last month minimum payment and received a legal notice from Rak Bank collector saying that I have a legal cased filed against me. Due to continues redundancy from our company, my salary became less. Thus, I have tried to spoke with the bank customer service for restructuring of the outstanding. I have done the same with my other cards, but Rakbank is insisting that this is not possible and there is no way they can do restructuring.

This complaint is to express our frustration with sme loans department. We had a clause that the bank will hold back the amount of dhs 315, 977.75 until we show consistency in payments for the period of 3 months. The issue is that we have been regular in our payments and the responsible employees at the department kept bouncing our request to disburse the above mentioned amount without returning our calls or email requests. We are being charged interest on an the amount that we did not receive so either they disburse the amount as per offer letter or deduct the amount from balance owing reducing our monthly payments. The attitude and the false promises of the staff members at this department is totally unacceptable adding to our whole experience with rak bank.
clearance letter issuance - paid up credit cards
I have made a final payment which paid up 2 credit cards in January 2018 in a payment structure agreed to by RAKBANK and their collectors. (emails and statements to support). In a phone conversation with their 'skip investigator' Joyce Anchin on the 11th of February 2018, i was assured that i would have my clearance documents by the end of that week (15 February 2018), with the police clearance documents following shortly. We are now 2 weeks on and i have still not received any of the above documentation. I will need these documentations before the 5th of March since my company require me to travel to Dubai.

I am a RAK BANK customer since 2007. Recently i have closed my credit card [protected] and requested to give a manger cheque for excess amount. As per your Gold Souk BRANCH customer service reprentative advise, i have request your call centre people to send the manager cheque to the Gold Souk BRANCH due to I don't have postal service in my registered post box. But they don't accept my request and send to the cheque to the post box. Now they are telling to lodge a complaint in police to not receipt of the cheque and get a report and visit BRANCH to re-issue the cheque again. This is absoulty unfair and harreshment to give trouble to the customer. I don't expect this kind worst and harassment of behavior from you customer service people. I never ever believe to RAK BANK and their products and Services. The simply make money from customers and so bad to treat if they leave from their service. So I want to complaint to the RAK BANK top management. Pls call me [protected] for further clarifications.

I called bank to check full outstanding on my credit card in order to close the credit card and bank officer told me it is nearly 4800 to be paid and to be settled before my statement date.i paid full amount and called bank again to confirm the payment and said that I will received call after 2 days. Which today i received call in order to close my card but officer from bank said there some amount I need pay which I really got disappointed because I'm sure I paid full amount and before statement date. Kindly do the needful and to close my card.

Hi, im having a unsettled dues for 2months already as of today and early this day i was able to talked to this rude agent so i requested to speak wth the mgr and it was ok after i requested for a settlement due to my financial condition but he refuses to offer settlement without paying the my dues within today. I politely responded over phone that i dont have money now and requested to pay by next month when i recieve my salary. Again he refused to have settlement without paying instantlyt the amount of approx 2, 000 aed. He further added that they cant contact me thru my email and provided number hence i have explained to them that my simcard was lost for more than a month and just today i manage to found it at my daughters bag. We ended our conversation with his terms that i should pay today the amount of 2, 000 approx which i did not commit with him and told him as well that he may proceed with his next stage of collection if i will not be able to pay. We ended the call around 12nn. Time comes to 4pm and we were so busy in the office this agent has called me again forcing me to pay the same amount which have been discussed already with his manager, i have explained again to him the situation and same time have requested him to call back in an hour after office timings. He kept calling me non stop during our work around more than 15 times and for last time i pick up his call and again requested to call after office hrs. He never stops so i ignored his call for i am still working in office. When i got home around 6.30pm this same guy called so i picked up my phone and aswered him, yet again the same thing he keeps on telling me to pay in a very unprofessional manner. I told him not to shout and not to speak to in this manner but he kept talking at loud voice shouting and asking me what time is it? Where is your payment? What time is it?... same thing again and again with high pitch of voice. I explained to this agent that i already told your manager so if i am not able to pay today he may escalate my case to higher collection dept, which what he was saying. Till i Lost my patience with this damn guy for shouting at me, i have said okay i will not listen to anyone of you do your thing and il file a complaint. Asking him to give his name but he refused to. May i ask you, is this the right manner to talk to your customers? I have been a verygood customer with rakbank but this is really i cannot tolerate. I was asking for a settlement with them and willing to submit all proof and requirements but how will i deal with this kind of agent? This is harassment and i know my rights. I am more than willing to do a settlement with the bank yet this kind of agent who has been very rude unprofessional call it what you want to call it but really unacceptable. To Rakbank management i am requesting this Settlement with you with all kindness but please educate your staff and agents to properly deal with your customers. In some case being rude can be applicable to people who really does not have he intention to pay back to the bank but not to people who are willing to have an amicable settlement.

I am throughout disappointed in how you have treated your customers. I have your customer for over 8 years last yr I suffered a stroke and was unable to pay towards the card. I have since then come to.india for treatment and have been harassed by sunshine solutions namely by a Mr Praveen and Aakash. I have made payments towards the card for about 3000 aed and requested for settlement. But the settlement is more than my card limit and I have been abused accused by your debt collectors. I have recorded all their calls and how they have insulted me and I am not willing to forget the abuse. How can a reputed bank behave so disgustingly, this is not fair everyone has rights and this is not how you treat customers. Yes I am at fault but I have a genuine reason for this do you want me dead so the Insurance that has covered the card already will pay you more money. Its my first time as RAK BANK customer so I don't have ideas about on how to register with their RAK BANK apps. So I chatted live with Malkan Khan (RAK BANK customer representative) via RAK BANK apps and he/she is VERY RUDE in handling and answering my quiries.
I'm up set with their customer representative's service, its my first time banking with RAK BANK then this is what I encountered. Ive been a long time customer to other bank/s but never encountered like the attitude of MALKAN KHAN.
Ive read in RAK BANK website "customer service professionals and friendly". Well sorry to RAK BANK management coz you don't know there are some of your staffs are not professionals & friendly and having a negative attitudes.

I sent an email to RAKBANK on Dec 11 stating that I have approximately 15, 000 AED in charges I know nothing about. After copying these charges I realized that I have a credit card because it said "credit card recovery" etc. But I did not order any credit card!
I had a very long and complicated experience with RAKBANK getting some papers for the UK embassy. I do not live in UAE because I am an investor and I had to come there four times, spent a lot of money on flights, hotels, transfers and such. After getting the papers Maryna Kuzminchuk (RAK Building, Umm Hurrair, Bur Dubai) offered me a Titanium card as a present because of all the struggle I had to go through. But I had no idea it was a credit card. No one told me that. So, now I have dozens of late fee charges and credit card renewals. Moreover, money from my main account automatically covered all these fees.
Why would I pay fees if I have more than enough money on my main account and the bank automatically charged me anyway?
I wanted a full refund of all charges relevant to the credit card because I did not want the card, I did not order the card. The bank gave me the card and did not tell me anything about it. I paid around AED15, 000.00 for no reason. I sent a long official email to customer service but I received a short text message from my personal manager that it is not possible.
RAKBANK disrespects its customers by words and actions. I already stopped sending money to my account, my relatives' accounts and I am planning on closing my business account.
Moreover, my card has not been working for two days and I need it ASAP. Also, it disappeared from my online banking page. (photos attached) I contacted RAKBANK and they told me "you'll receive the call back in 1 to 2 working days".
I have had bank accounts in Ukraine, United Kingdom, Spain, United States and Russia and I never experienced such terrible and disrespectful service.

UPDATE.
Rakbank contacted me and they are not going to do anything about my issue. Do not trust them and definitely choose other bank. There are much better and professional banks in UAE.
