I live in a townhouse in Kenwood and Doug and his team have worked on some maintenance projects in my unit
I live in a townhouse in Kenwood and Doug and his team have worked on some maintenance projects in my unit. He has always been very helpful, professional, responsive, and friendly. It's definitely a plus to have him on the team.
I am currently a tenant at an apartment that leases through this company. When moving in, I was never given a property condition checklist, even though upon moving in the property was not in working order. I also did not receive enough keys for my roommates and I, so I had to get refunded for copying the keys. This process took 1 month. I also did not receive a garage opener for my garage that I was paying for, until the middle of the 2nd month. During this time, the backyard was overgrown and also not maintained. After frequent phone calls, I still have not been refunded for not having access to a garage. In April the garbage disposal broke, and after two plumber visits, the problem has not been solved. Also, the ceilings have taken on water damage that has been brought up to the company for weeks. Since this is a hazardous situation that can result in the total collapse of the ceiling, as told by the plumber, the landlord has 5 days to fix this situation before the lease is void. Myself and fellow tenants will be contacting a lawyer shortly. This company is a scam.

We've lived at a townhome property near downtown Chicago managed by this company since October . We thought we had not received a garbage tote and asked Doug, our representative at RPM to assist. There was confusion between which was the correct garbage and recycling tote at our end. Doug’s attention to follow up was nothing short of terrific. He checked in weekly over the 6 months it took to rectify and always made sure to update us on status. Even after it was determined we had the tote and the mix up was our error, Doug was professional as always. I can assure you that having a contact like him takes so much of the stress out of owning or renting a community managed property! Thank you!

Real Property Management Chicago Group is totally misleading its customers, owners, and tenants. If you're a tenant, they'll end up charging you monthly fees on top of the $1000 non-refundable fee they charge upfront. This ain't no security deposit, and they'll still charge you fees after you move out. They'll even charge you fees for moving in, renewing, and moving out. In Chicago, you can find way better options and save more money. If you're an owner, it's a whole different story. Check out the other owners' reviews. They don't bother inspecting the place after the tenant moves out, and they leave a mess for you to deal with. *** and *** ain't good at customer service and can't offer any solutions. They charged us a monthly fee, one month's rent to renew, and when the tenant moved out, the unit was left all messy and damaged. When we complained, ***, one of the managers, suggested we just fix the issues and move on to renting again, or else they'd send us to a collection agency. *** our account manager never bothered answering our questions and was rude and unprofessional. Don't waste your money with this company. I wish I had seen a review like this before, so I hope this helps other owners and renters.

I've been working with them for several years. Nimra has been a huge help with needed repairs. Our communication has been quick, kind and responsible. Very happy to have them so dedicated to the work, it really has put my mind at ease while I've been away.

I am a Realtor that rented out one of their properties
I am a Realtor that rented out one of their properties. They have been difficult to work with since day 1. It has been 3 weeks and I have not rec'd payment when promise of compensation is due when Tenant moves in. I am owed my commission and I have gotten the run around since day 1. They never rec'd my doc - so I sent again. They couldn't open my docs - so I sent again. Now I cannot get hold of anyone at the office. The accounting department - she was out last Thursday and Friday. I am waiting for a call back and I know I will wait even more. I now feel bad that my client is living with this company for the next 12 months. I definitely would not recommend this company on the Realtor aspect of things. They are horrible.
