Rent 2 Own HQ review: H2 rent to own auto on Frederick road in San Antonio took my money and won't give me the car

I already sent something in that I had not registered yet my name is Marisa mikula I'm a 60 year old single female and I gave them most of my disability check last week in order to secure a down payment on a 2002 Lexus RX with 208,000 MI when I went to get the car after signing the contract the key broken ignition and I couldn't get it till they fixed it on Monday it was friday. They gave me a loaner car quote unquote which is a really filthy Chevy Blazer I believe that they tried to sell me earlier it was extremely damaged and filthy when I took it to drive home that night there was something coming out of the event that was causing the windshield to be very cloudy you had to stop and wash it three times and could barely see out the window. The next morning when I got in the car it would not go from Park to drive I called them and said look there's something wrong I want to return the car I finally got it into gear and when I drove it there they test drove it said there's nothing wrong with the cards all in your head I was embarrassed and felt that I was right but didn't know what to say they said either take the loaner or you're stuck without a card here's a six so I went ahead and took it cuz I was embarrassed you are stuck without a car until yours is fixed it was embarrassed and needed a car so I drove it. That afternoon I put gas in the car and drove onto potranco I believe it's called there was a red light in front of me with a woman and a blue car with kids I tried to stop and the brakes would not catch they were squishy I just held the breakdown and alone sister and tried to stop the car did not pump it or do anything wildly I just held it tight and tried to get it to stop when I got close to the car it hadn't stopped so I had to swerve over the sidewalk into a 7-Eleven parking lot the car jolted like being on a bucking bronco but did not hit anything I hit my head on the steering wheel and it came to a stop. There was a mobile mechanic behind me who saw everything he got out asked if I was okay took pictures underneath the car when he saw something leaking. With the pictures in the video he said that it was so corroded the brake line that was that it was going to break and burst at any time and it was not my fault that the brakes had gone out. I was scared so he said he would give me a ride where I needed to go and we called H2 I got a woman that said well what do you want me to do I was kind of stuck I was horrified she didn't ask are you okay is anyone else okay but can we do she just said she'd send a tow truck with the manager I thought well I'll wait to talk to the manager then they said that the manager wasn't coming it was simply some random tow truck so we left the car and the guy took me back to my Airbnb in San antonio. That night I had a terrible headache and didn't feel well into the emergency room by 6:00 in the morning turns out I have a terrible concussion and they had to take care of me I contacted H2 in the morning and they said they would send the mechanic to deliver my car and he acted like he was my friend he said that he got me a break so I could make my first payment on the 3rd instead of the 18th I was very grateful because now I couldn't work for a little while. When you got to my house he wanted me to sign something saying that I was distracted and it fault but they were kind enough not to charge me for downages to the car was like what there were no damages to the car I didn't hit anything! My roommate was there to witness the whole thing I put some notes on the document he went to sign saying I did not agree with the statement that I was distracted because I wasn't and that there were no damages to the car he wouldn't let me sign it I signed it but kept the copy myself he left and they would not deliver the car he said I had to go get it the next day myself I was in tears I was dealing with so many things at this point and they had my money. at the night of the accident when I went back to the Airbnb I had looked up online anyone I could talk to because it was not getting any help and didn't know what to do I found a person by the name of Royal Shapiro who I called apparently it was his home number I didn't know and he said how did you get this number I just said it was on the internet I told him what happened he was very angry at me but he texted back and said that she said they would take care of you everything was fine in the morning that was not what I was told I sent him the photos of what happened and asked him to pass them on the next day I also l eft messages saying that I was going to get a lawyer because I didn't know what to do because I wasn't getting any help called HQ and texted me back he said that everything was fine that they would take care of me in the morning. I told her that was not what I was told and sent him the photos and ask them to pass them on. I also had left a message previously saying that if I couldn't get a hold of anyone I was going to get a lawyer because I did not know what to do this it really angered them. What was I supposed to do I was alone with no help from them they had my money. After their mechanic who said he was on my side came to the Airbnb o try to get me to sign the document saying I was off that I was distracted and I refuse to do that I had to go the next day to get the car myself I had the friend who had originally sent me to HQ drive me over there we got there they wanted me again to sign the contract saying it with my fault and now they want to be charged for damages on the car which there were none . Under duress I signed the contract my friend witnesses and my roommate from the night before also knew that I had issues with signing this but I become so worn down and scarekd that they got me to sign it they said that they would give me the car if they did I thought oh well what am I going to do but in the end I thought oh well what am I going to do I'm so desperate I need a car they have my money I'm scared I thought what am I going to do they have my money I'm scared I need a car I just gave in I didn't know what to do I was under great duress and I need a car. Oh I know I actually went that night there the night before to get the car and was with a manager named TJ who made me wait for half hour till closing and then said I was evil had planned the whole thing I was trying to please them or something he twisted my words and said that my mechanic had been hired he was really nuts I was scared. I came back in the morning they made me sign the contract under the rest then they did not give me the car TJ said he was going to charge me or damages to the original rental car which wasn't a rental car that was never hit it just simply had a brake line break and that they would not give me my money back or the car I told them I wanted to cancel they refused you and said we're done with this call and hung up. I was trying and went inside and said he won't give me my car the money they told me to get off the property and now trying to get a lawyer don't know where to turn and don't have any money to live on or anything they have really ruined my life I'm scared
