My daughter got a car from them on 12/3/24. We put $1500 down. After test driving it we were happy although the muffler was making a loud noise which the sales man stated it was normal. When doing all the paperwork the salesman said that I need to pay $300 that coming Friday which I did and then the following Monday we now power $490. That’s way over $2000 in two weeks. Completely trashed like someone drug something under neath it. The key fob is not the correct one for the car, and the car will not accelerate. Now when they message my daughter they are very condescending and rude and have already threatened her with legal action and calling the police if she doesn’t pay now. She just turned 18! This is not okay to treat her and threaten her. So I called and asked to set up autopay. I was emailed the form to Fill out and send back. So I did just that. Today they tried to pull the payment 5 times which now my account is locked. When I messaged them they told me that they never received the auto pay and asked if they could process. I asked if I sent my info to some random person since they don’t know of the form. They told me I had to pay by closing or they would take legal action. And now I don’t even know who has my card info. I shouldn’t have to pay $1000 for a little car and not even know who’s taking my money. They could not give me an answer and to who I sent my info to. It’s only been 2 weeks and I cannot believe that we are having these issues. This is the worst experience for my daughter who should be excited avout owning her first car but it’s been nothing but a nightmare for her. And now I don’t even know how I’m supposed to come up with $490 for another payment when I just paid $1800.
Desired outcome: I want our money back. It has only been 2 weeks and it’s such a disaster. I want the down payment and the payments that have been made.
