I signed a car, 2012 Lexus ES350, off the lot, Rent 2 Own HQ in *** on June 22 after test driving it everything seemed legit. A few weeks later the *** started blowing hot air, I called the lot and they said for me to call their services dep. who is able to help get it fixed. July 20, I called told them the ac might just need more/new freon, the mechanic agreed to take care of it fast so I drove to ***, the service dep. I picked it up July 22, after trying to reach them for days with no answer/update and was mistreated and cursed out by the mechanic for not fixing the *** instead made it worse where the *** no longer turns on AT ALL! After weeks of driving in the heat I took it back Aug 9, 2021 and picked it up again Aug 13, 2021 with the *** still not fixed. I still make my payments but still no help after THEIR mechanic is responsible for damages done to the car, which is now the wheel alignment and noise making! Help!

The place I went to told me that my car wasnt going to pass the inspection because for one I didnt have a horn and my windows were too dark . I didnt know that I didnt have a horn cause I dont use them and before I put the $3000 down the sales man told me that the car had an inspection cause that was the only way it was able to be on a lot so on July 25th I went up there and

I put a down payment on a car, $3,300.00 paid for full coverage insurance which I still have on the car but they never let me take the car. I want my money back or the car. Theyre very unprofessional and just trying to s*** people out of money. Theyre saying I had fake insurance but I have receipts and still have the policy right now to prove it. I want all my money back actually, I dont even want the car. I thought when you put money down, you were able to leave with the car. Well that wasnt the case here apparently.

I purchased a vehicle , six days later they say I owe a payment of $250 to lower my monthly payment. I pay it. A week later my first payment is due which I pay. Then my second payment was going to be late I called and asked if I could pay majority of it through my card and then come in the office to pay the cash part. I was told yes. As I was going to go make the initial payment I stopped to cash my check and as I walk out my vehicles gone. They had followed me from my home to the store and took my vehicle and said that I had to pay the past due payment plus a $300 fee and then I would also have to pay the next upcoming payment before they would release me my car and I had still a week left to pay the initial payment and now I cannot get a hold of any management about my vehicle and my personal items that are in the car
OK I got a car from them in January I gave a *** dollar deposit when it was supposed to be *** after I signed the paperwork he slips in that my payment will be 470 every 2 weeks instead of 220 till the deposit is paid off I was confused cause he was doing a buch of math on paper saying alot of *** I didn't know what he was taking about and I didn't understand what he was taking about but cool whatever it couldn't be that much more I guess since he didn't mention it before I signed then when it came to paying it every time I had to pay there was always something to cause me to be late either they didn't have the right cc authorization or they didn't get my email by 7 but I sent it at 6 they concurrently didn't get them this week it is due Monday if not paid in full they charge u a 50 dollar later fee u have 3 days to pay it in full before they can red flag u abs repo then it's 300 more to get back which they will do over 100 dollars anyways wed in trying and trying to pay it but amazingly again they got every text and email besides the cc authorization I texted them a picture of it and my credit card to the payment number they had been texting me from after I emailed it 20 times I started sending it at noon on Thursday and I was told they didn't recieve the document I sent sent to them via email they said they didn't get those as well then 5 o'clock comes they stop resounding to me completely wouldnt even answer my calls I left emails text voice-mail asking them to please contact me before 7pm so my car won't be repoed cause late payment still nothing so then they text me at 9pm saying it's been red flagged cause they didn't get it then the next morning they had some pos message my phone pretending to work for said threatening to get me for unauthorized use or theft for no reason by that time I had enough and had been telling them to come get there *** I was done dealing with them they wanted me to bring it in I told them to do there job for once is at my house

I go there they charged me late fee of 45 dollars I couldn't make it day before because of Presidents' Day banks was closed . So I get in a little argument about that I give them the extra 45 and I leave . About an hour later I get a call saying my insurance has been canceled . So I call my insurance paper they gave me and the State Farm agent says she can't find me in the system , so I do research on the paper I have in *** images and there I found the paper they gave . I try to tell them they say I was lying and a week later 02/28/22 they towed my car because I didnt have insurance on the car , which never had insurance because they gave me a fake insurance paper . They try to say the didn't give me insurance but the insurance paper they gave match the other contract papers they gave (have the same printer marks line at the top and line in middle . A missing airbag may lead to a claim for breach of warranty against the seller.Thats what my research has proven I need assistance with getting these repairs done Again this issue was suppose to be corrected now Im told next year sometime
I purchased a used vehicle on 1/30/2022. There were problems from the get go. But regardless I made my first payment on time, but was late on my second payment. I was told I needed to make a payment once a week after the fact I was told it would be every two weeks. Well my truck was reposed, I was told to pay the balance and towing fees which totalled $600. I had the breaks go out on the highway I called *** who I got the car from the dealership seller and told her she refused to send a tow and service and I have a 90 day warranty on the car I took it to break check they said the car was not safe to drive until it was fixed I called *** back and told her and she refused service sti and told me to drive it knowing the car was not safe nor drivable to the dealerships repair service. The breaks were broke their was break fluid behind right tire the 3 roters were snapped and still having on going issues with the car the air conditioner went out on May 22 2022 break check said theirs a blockage I have had to drop over 2 thousand dollars just to repair it myself and the first week I had the care their was no spare tire nore jumper cables and had to replace all 4 tires they were worn down to the point the wiring was exposed. And may 21 2022 had to put power steering fluid because it was empty. Date car was purchased 1/15/2022. Total payments made to rent 2 own hq ***. The business promised a good driving vehicle with warranty. The day I purchased the vehicle 1/15/2022 the car broke down while driving home. I brought it in for a service appointment on 1/17/2022 and was refused service by maintenance. I brought it in 3 more times due to it constantly breaking down while driving it and was refused the service even though I set service appointments with a representative. The car broke down in the middle of the freeway multiple times the last time it broke down on the freeway it almost caused an accident therefore I couldnt not drive it anymore. I was told by the company the car would be towed in. After that day I no longer paid the car since it was not drivable and I was refused the warranty I was promised. Ive complied with rent 2 own I was told to keep my keys in the cup holder so they could tow in the car now they are telling me they are pursuing charges for not bringing in the vehicle when Ive told them the vehicle wouldnt start after it stopped driving in the middle of the freeway. The insurance I had with them said I would be getting a refund and when I asked about it 2 different times I was ignored. Me and my unborn child have been disrespected by the representative who works with rent 2 own hq. Her name is ***. She goes by ***. The business has not yet tried to solve one of the problems. I asked *** for the managers number she gave it to me, and when I called to speak to a manager I was told they didnt have one.

I then called the Car lot to see if they made a mistake in picking up my vehicle and the told me no .. I then called the police and the police said that they had no record of being notified of a repo for Rent 2 own hq . So I called the car lot back to let them know that I have to make a report I think my vehicle was stolen. At that time they told me , yes they did repo it. Now knowing I just made a payment on Friday the 18 2022 and that I pay my payments in 2 so it would be monthly instead of paying every 2 weeks I owed them nothing til the following month. Now I have all my receipts and bank statement stating they got paid but they still kept my vehicle saying I owe them $1200 because the vehicle was driven a lot so it for mileage which Ive never heard . Now Im late for work and I have to get my vehicle back so I have to pay ,,, But because I said. I have to see if this is legal with my lawyer they refused to take my money and release my car. Some people work hard for what they have , people get emotional and upset when possessions are taking away for no reason besides for control . So when you know your doing right and paid up and have to go through this when you pay you bills, insurance all everything is paid then reason do they have .Why was my car repossessed in the first place and why was I not able to pay the so called mileage fee when I was there to get me vehicle back ? My car was repossesed on october 19th due to no insurance. One of the employees at hq on 35 south had told me i would need to get insurance to recover vehicle plus a 300 recovery fee. I was ok with that so i was on a search and unaware of the insurance companies they didnt take. Well come Friday i was arrested on some old warrants i had and wasnt released till Monday the 25th. I then went to get insurance and was told the insurance place was not acceptable so they sent me a text message of what they did not approve of. I recieved a message again about some firearms in my vehicle and if i was aware of them i said yes. Then i went to get insurance the very next day on Tuesday October 26th i had just got insurance with amtex and had my 300 recovery fee plus my car payment they told me that my car was already sold i asked about my property that was in the vehicle which was the 2 firearms my wallet with 300 dollars in there and my dads *** chain, my daughters laptop for school some cloths and other items. They first told me they will let me know when i can pick up my stuff i waited called waited some more till i called another office cause no one would answer my calls . The employee at the fredrigsburg location which was a manager said there was no log in of my property to that vehicle that the car came to them empty but when i mentioned the text message i recieved about my firearms they said yes we located ur property and i would then again have to pay 50 dollars recovery fee and return the key. So today Tuesday November 9 they gave me an appointment for 9 am i get to the location and all i was able to get bk that they said they had was 1 firearm. Nothing more nothing less. Its not just the value of my property but i am a single mother who doesnt live offf the system the firearms and the chain belong to my father who was murded a few years ago its sentimental value to me my daughter computer for *** i would have to pay for and my wallet 300$ plus id ect.

I was looking to purchase a vehicle for my son. I saw an ad on Face book that with 1000 i could get a car so I called them made an appointment to go in. Shortly after I got a text that they were going to take 300 off my down payment, I thought ok great. I go in there with my son and he picked out a vehicle so they drew up they papers first of all it was very unprofessional that the lady we were dealing with was texting her husband which worked there and she was telling me and my son how they were high in their prices, I guess that should've been the red flag for me but my son needed a vehicle to get to work so we decided to go with it. Everything that she explained was so not on the contract. Then they had another lady go over verbally what my son was signing as he signed basically explaining so he would just sign not giving him time to read it actually read. We trusted that what was being said was actually what was on the contract. A week later the vehicle wouldn't not start and it was literally one week later so I had the car towed out of my pocket to the car lot where it sat and they didn't bother to call us my son tried calling several times none helped him, So i picked him up later that day and went up to the car place where they had no solution or answers as to what was wrong with the car all we got is it will be till Monday. I got upset he has a job to go to is why i told them he needed a vehicle that was reliable for him to get to work they were not going to help me so i said what if i pay more can he get into something else. they lady that helped the first time said yes so we picked a truck *** same thing contract was rushed lady said she was trying to get off so my son signed the paper work only to find out that the down payment that we thought we had taken care of was only a partial payment of the down payment and that did not include my first 700 down when we got the first car and we had it for a week they never mentioned that the money was not going to be included

BUYER BEWARE! They're selling salvaged tilted vehicles and going bankrupt! Taking advantage of folks and not running reputable dealership and not a member of the ComplaintsBoard.com! The vending machine is empty & they're charging almost 10 times the amount of the blue book value to lease! It's been 7 months and my contract stated they were going to replace my radio within 2 weeks of signing. They lied and said my tires were brand new, to find a flat bald tire with no tire iron or jack to change the spare, & the spare was flat, also. Since then, the vehicle was towed 2 days after my payment was due (every 2 weeks). I had contacted them 3 times 2 weeks prior to let them know I was no longer able to make payments on the due date (due to my 7 year old patient passing away) and if I can change my due date, I was told; no, it would cost $500 to change the dates, just pay the late fees, then that I could make partial payments, by 3 different people. So when I called about why my car was towed, first statement was that I haven't kept my car insurance, lie #1, then falsely accused me of not contacting them, because that I wasn't able to pay on the dates "No record of you saying that in my file", until I stated on the 29th you were contacted and she read out loud the whole conversation, of my situation that I just stated, SMH. The only way to get me off the phone was to lie and give a fake phone number to their corporate office whom she claimed "flagged my account, for non payment". After being on hold for about 17 minutes, with no music, ( 1-***), I googled the number and it's some warehouse in China! The person who claimed to be the "manager" was so unprofessional and said, "Just give me the key and I'm not going back and forth arguing about the radio never working!" I was charged $50 to collect my personal belongings, however because I didn't have change they kept $60 and said it's going to my "balance owed"...why would I have a balance, if you got the car 2 days after my payment was due? He explained he was doing me a favor because they charge "$300 recovery fee", even though I'm not recovering the car! Everything about this company is run illegally! There's a bogus website that has never been updated and I wasn't able to make payments, only going there or calling on the phone which always took 15 minutes or more. They "claim" there's a $6.50 charge to use your credit card that isn't posted anywhere, but I wasn't charged that fee when I gave my down payment, paying with my card! The location where I got the vehicle is still on the website and on Facebook, however it's been closed & was directed to go the ***, where I was met with animosity, ignorance and zero charisma! Not once was there ever an offer to work with me or suggestion to trade the 2008 Ford Escape for a smaller vehicle to lower my payments. He stated in a comment from my daughter's review of the company that he did and wasn't going to because of her review. That I purchased the car for my daughter and another lie was stated by this "manager" was that all my payments were always late and I was rude whenever I spoke to anyone there, that's trying to defame my character and anyone who knows me, knows I don't talk to anyone like that. I will match your energy, so if you're being rude and belittling, so will I. You can't ignore the fact that every time I made a payment, I questioned when was my radio going to get fixed and say I'm being talking rude, when you don't want to address the fact that the company voided the lease back in February, when the 14 days were up and the radio is still stuck on am station and I can't turn it off or the volume down and you had me sign that it would be fixed! Just kept omitting the truths to fit this company's narrative is some janky business practices!

Well my card was already exchanged, I had also informed her that I didn't want a high payment over the phone also, only to come out paying $700 a month for a 2007 Ford Mustang with 145,000 miles on it. Thought ok it must run pretty good for this price. Well not even a week and a half later after being promised to come in and get a tag for the car because it expired at the end of the month, there is no answer from the sales lady or call back. Finally get a paper tag, also had to buy all new tires as the tires had wires on most of them, not even a month later, the battery light comes on, after charging at AutoZone for 3 hours informed the battery was good but slowly, slowly the battery went right back down with nothing lit up until the car died in front of my apts where it wouldn't even go into park. So called to use the so called WARRANTY I was given, which Christina stated she was putting in a claim for but most like the ALTENATOR was not covered because that is wear and tear on a vehicle now that I have just replaced the tires from so called wear and tear on a vehicle of less than 30 days, oil change, now a $300 altenator plus repairs. Plus a $335 car payment every 2 weeks while doing all these repairs. I FEEL LIKE I AM REBUILDING A CAR AND PAID 12,000 FOR THE BODY of a 2007 Ford Mustang. Which even the manager Joseph which wouldn't give me his last name or the owners name that I am in the contract that I signed that was not explained in none of the process, was lied to in order to get in there. The whole time I'm thinking she knows the down payment I'm working with, plus the payment amount. IN HOUSE FINANCING RIGHT. EVERYONE APPROVED RIGHT! Sure everyone APPROVED TO GET RIPPED OFF! IF YOU ARE RENTING TO OWN SOMETHING, THEN WHILE RENTING IT YOU SHOULDN'T BE IN A BINDED CONTRACT. So that name needs to be taken off. Then also they don't tell you that you can't go also over a certain amount of miles in a month on the car you are rebuilding and paying $700 a month for. This is the worse contract I have ever gotten myself into and informed that basically they can continue ripping me off because they didn't put the claim in, didn't offer no help except for rude customer service added to it. Plus, to top it off they didn't care that it had been less than 30 days they could keep my almost $2000 I had paid towards down payment, repairs and all. Still without the payment again and altenator being fixed. NO ONE HELPS, NICE ONLY UNTIL THEY CON YOU THERE TO RIP YOU OFF ON THE EVERYONE IS APPROVED CRAP. I'm still paying only because I have wasted all of my money and at this point still need reliable transportation because I'm sick and need to go to doctor's appointment which they took no concern of also, as Joseph stated I can call an attorney, have them contact him without a last name. Or the solution was charge me $100 extra to tow the car there and get it fixed by there so called mechanics and get the amount added to the $[protected] vehicle. WHAT A RIP OFF THEY ARE DOING. I would just like my down payment back that I put into it also my payments. They can keep the tires and the money I will be putting in on the altenator which was over $800 plus the insurance they had me commit to under them. I wonder if that is a scam also now.

I bought a car with *** down , I have made multiple payments for 470 every two weeks and my car have been useless since Ive gotten it . The business is only asking for money or the car but my money was well spent for the car that I havent been able to properly use . Ive lost my job behind the car and so forth.
I leased a car from this business in January 2022. I have made all payments on time and I am current up to date on my car payments. I traveled to *** to visit family and the first night arriving, my brother who was driving my car gets arrested because the car has been reported stolen and car was impounded. Business never stated I am not allowed to take a vacation or that I have a restriction to the state of ***. I am out of a car, car was reported stolen. And has been impounded and have zero help from business. They have stolen my car payments and down payment that I have worked so hard for as a single mother. I have now come to find that this place a known scam of a business by many *** reviews and how they take advantage of poor, unsuspected people. By doing these kind of tactics and towing cars for no reason. They keep your money and dont resolve the issues. They dont care.
When I put down-payment and signed the papers for the *** impala 2011 I was lied to about their being a full inspection on the car the only thing inspected on the car was the outside body. I had the breaks go out on the highway I called *** who I got the car from the dealership seller and told her she refused to send a tow and service and I have a 90 day warranty on the car I took it to break check they said the car was not safe to drive until it was fixed I called *** back and told her and she refused service sti and told me to drive it knowing the car was not safe nor drivable to the dealerships repair service. The breaks were broke their was break fluid behind right tire the 3 roters were snapped and still having on going issues with the car the air conditioner went out on May 22 2022 break check said theirs a blockage I have had to drop over 2 thousand dollars just to repair it myself and the first week I had the care their was no spare tire nore jumper cables and had to replace all 4 tires they were worn down to the point the wiring was exposed. And may 21 2022 had to put power steering fluid because it was empty. I want a refund of all the financial loss and stress I've dealt with I reported it to the dmv and they wouldn't help due to the cars original warranty not being valid.
Today at 7:16 pm on May 25 2022 my *** impala 2011 from rent 2 own hq was working then out of no were my boyfriend put the car in park and the gear got stuck in reverse and locked up the car doesn't turn on and it rolls but had to put the emergency break on to keep it from rolling I have filed another complaint previously before about the same car I contacted the office no answer and contacted the car salesman about the issue she referred me to CA someone else and they did not pick up the phone.
