ResiHome I have been waiting over 2 months to move into wripm property paid $850.00 deposit and still havent moved in they evn showed the upstairs

I have been waiting over 2 months to move into wripm property paid $850.00 deposit and still havent moved in they evn showed the upstairs appartment. I cant get my emails answered, i cant get through the phone when i was told it has caller ID upon saying my name before i can tell them who i am.I have sec 8 and i called my sec 8 office they said this place havent met the requirements of having moving papers and that i might not have sec 8 due to this company and their non organized fashion. this place is not recommended to those that have sec 8, not even to those that don't have sec 8. its been sense Dec292020 I have paid to move into this the home I so called took off the market. and today march 92020. I was told by a coordinator witch was my sec one that it was a week every week almost. I tried to wait for the home to be ready but now to lose my sec 8 due to a company that claim they have everything together and don't. I feel like the problem is with the coordinators they not putting in paperwork or emails when they should. I feel that if the coordinator was taken care of the company would be better off because they are responsible for our move in and communication with things. the owner and other places don't know what's going on unless the coordinator lets them know. I would like a full refund I cant believe I trusted this company to insure a roof over me and my son head even with a payment. how can you take the money but the person still be homeless, that's unbelievable and unacceptable. very dangerous and very unprofessional with out a care except care for the money. this company has issues that need to be resolved I am done waiting on something I will never get. my sec 8 was going to pay the rent now I dont even think i have sec 8 any more due to this fake want to be real estate company. I want my refund $850.00 , this is totally unacceptable ! how do you guys pass up money on a rental property that's willing to pay and stay. it makes no sense. refund please! I had to go to shelter which I told company , I had to get storage which I told the company and you sure as *** knew I had sec 8 because that how you was getting paid and you said sec 8 ready. all the lies. refund would be nice and don't get on here saying I got one because as of today march 9 I haven't received a dime back from you. over a vandalism that don't take that long to repair its been repaired because now your trying to renting out the upstairs app. with same basement. well over the 30 day promise I was patient but now me and my son are still homeless and need refund to look elsewhere. we trusted wripm.

ResiHome Emergency work orders not completed in a timely fashion

Emergency work orders not completed in a timely fashion. No sense of urgency to make any repairs for good renters. I left two voicemails on the "emergency" maintenance line regarding my water heater leaking into my laundry room. After not receiving a response, I had to make a third phone call where the phone attendant stated she was inputting an emergency maintenance ticket and hopefully a plumber would be onsite that day. I reiterated that there was water leaking into the downstairs and that would be considered an emergency. She said I could input a second maintenance ticket for that and give her a call if no one came that day. I stated that she told me the plumber would be out today. The lady then said, "Yes, there will be a plumber out today." Two hours later I received a phone call from a third party vendor asking for information regarding the water heater. I gave her everything she needed and she stated a plumber from their company would be out that night. Needless to say, no one came out that night. The next day, I receive a follow-up email from the Assistant Property Manager at WRI stating that she was following up to my email (as I had emailed the day before as well) and she noted the vendor came to the home yesterday. I quickly called her to let her know that the vendor had not been at the home as I was there all day/night. I also reminded her I have been left without hot water (along with my 6-year-old) and water is still leaking into the laundry room. She stated WRI has an EMS team that should be dispatched in these situations as there is wet drywall. She said she would follow up with the maintenance department. An hour later, I received a phone call from the vendor (from the night before who stated they had shown up) who said they have scheduled my appointment for the next day. This would means I have to wait another day for the plumber to inspect the water heater, determine the issue, and wait for who knows how long for parts. She stated they were having a difficult time finding vendors as this was an extremely busy time. I told her that was a lie as I work in construction/remediation and my mitigation supervisor and plumber were able to complete two on-call water losses the prior day (Sunday). So 24-hours later, no plumber, no answers on how long I will be without hot water and water is still leaking into the laundry room. Even worse, this is the second time I have received the run-around with an EMS ticket. The first one was when the HVAC system stopped working when temps reached over 90s. It's almost an identical scenario where there is a lack of vendors, vendors not showing up and lack of communication.

ResiHome Just Not Professional!

Just Not Professional! In May my family and I found this rental. We contacted them and asked when could we see the home. I contacted Kelly who was the real estate agent for the property I was sent a long text explains that it could take up to 60 to 70 days to move in because the home needed a rental permit and a video walk through. Ok that's fine we can wait two months. Applied approved sent over 4000 to hold the property. In June when NY entered phased 4 of reopening I contact them requesting to view the property and what's the hold up being that everything is open again. I was sent the same text and video. I contacted the management office explaining that this real estate agent is unprofessional and doesn't respond to any of the messages I send. I was contacted by Stephanie at the office told she was the new coordinator, the previous person Eddie was no longer with the company. Told Stephanie that the agent does not respond and maybe she would have better luck. They send a email saying the home needs to be de-winterized then the property can be viewed. After a week of not hearing from them I contact the office and no response so I texted Stephanie saying I would like to view the property still and what's the hold up I also let Stephanie know that I had to be out of my current place by the 30th of this month. She responds the home has been de-winterized but now the house has numerous code violations and on top of that the deck needs brackets, the walkway is a trip hazard and the side door ramp needs to be fixed bc this is also a hazard. I respond when and how long will this take to be fixed and I get a messsage replying that " if I need to be out of my current home by the 30th I should extend my lease here until the home is ready for occupancy ". 1 can't extend my lease 2 I've already waited 60 days and still have not seen the home. Basically dealing with this company is about to leave me homeless with 4 school aged children and my friend . NY currently has no available rentals in my area and there are NO affordable rentals and I already sent this company money with the expectation of them to do there part. To me if you have a family waiting to move and almost to the point of not having anywhere to go you should have a team at the location of the house fixing it daily to speed up the process and doing everything you can especially since you received a majority of the money for my family to move in. They barely answer the phone and don't respond to emails and the real estate agent forget about it. After reading all the reviews on Complaintsboard.com I am *** and need some answers instead of the run around. The only reason I even spoke to them this week is because I reached out they have never contacted me once to keep me up to date.

ResiHome I have contacted this company by phone, e-mail, and review

I have contacted this company by phone, e-mail, and review. No one has helped me! I want my refund. I like others would leave a 0 star review of this company if I could. Please take EXTREME CAUTION when dealing with this company! They will take your money and run! I found what I thought would be the perfect property for my family & I to rent, in our small town community. Sadly I contacted the management group several times to only be sent to a "rental referral partner" who did not want to help me. I contacted her by e-mail, telephone & text for 5 days to only receive 1 reply asking me when I'd like to see the home. I replied back right away to which I could see it that evening or the next day. She replied back nothing at all! Thanks to technology I know she received my text too. Yet she ignored me until she decided to have an "Open House" so that everyone wanting to view the home could come fight for it. My family & I were the first to walk in the door & speak to this relator & express our interest. We were never told at this point that other applications had been filed, other money had been collected. We then rushed home & filled out all the paperwork & paid the Exhorbant $45 per adult fee for "background & credit" checks. (Which I know never occurred because I receive notifications on my end when they do) I called to make sure that everything was received on WRIP's end due to not having gotten any sort of confirmation e-mail from their end that the application was received. It was a Sunday and the person who answered the phone told me she was only an answering service, I'd have to call back Monday. I did in fact call back Monday late morning and spoke to Stacy. She told me that the application & fee were received and in process. That a e-mail should go out by 5pm to let us know what was happening. No email was received, by any of the 3 adults on the application. I find it extremely hard to believe a company such as this does business like this. No emails, not in the inbox, not in junk, spam or trash. No phone calls have been made, but there was no issue taking my $135. I then called on Tuesday 3/3 because I hadn't heard back from anyone and spoke to Stacy again. She then told me that she "just knows" an email went out at 5pm to everyone who applied but didn't get the home. Someone else had already put down deposit money so all the other people should get emails. Yet she couldn't tell me where the email came from or who it went too. she did tell me that several people had applied days ago and that we should of been told that ahead of time. She then promptly gave me an email address to send an email to to receive my application fees back since there are no property's available in my area. I sent an e-mail the leasingcallcenter 6 days ago and AGAIN have heard nothing back! So to wrap this up I demand my money back. Also unless you enjoy throwing your money away and being treated badly stay very far away from this company! *** Dayton, OH ***it is now 3/20 and I have heard no response at all from this company! Such a scam! No return email. No call back. No response to my reviews left. Stop taking hard working families money! And give me my refund!

ResiHome I applied to rent a property, paid $1575 holding fee, received one call, one email on April 27/28, 2020

I applied to rent a property, paid $1575 holding fee, received one call, one email on April 27/28, 2020. Since then, I have NOT heard back. On Wednesday, April 23 I contacted and submitted an application with RESIHome for a property they had listed for rent. I made a request to view two properties that they had listed. I was contacted by one of their agents on Thursday, April 24 who informed me that the property that I applied for was not actually on the market but the other property that I requested to view was still available. I was advised to speak to ResiHome about the error and request a change. I called them and they told me that I needed to submit a request via email to have it switched. I did it but I didn't like the direction that things were heading in. The application was subsequently switched, and I received an email notifying me that the application was approved. I contacted the agent again and requested to view the property. He told me that the property would be available to be viewed on Saturday, April 25. On the morning of Saturday, April 25 I received another email letting me know that I would need to submit my holding fee in order to remove the listing. Before I paid my holding fee, I wanted to view the property so went to the property first where I met the agent. We had a brief conversation about the property prior to entering and he told me that the property was "perfect and ready to go". I went in and took a look around (not a detailed look). Everything seem to be fine, so I exited the property and submitted the holding fee via the link in the email that they sent to me. Their policy as stated in the email that I received was that the holding fee was to remove the listing from active status and that it was on a first come first serve basis... so the first person to submit their holding fee gets the property. Two days passed, and I had not heard anything from RESIHome regarding the status of my holding fee or if I got the property. On Monday, April 27 I decided to call RESIHome to inquire about the property. I was able to reach someone on the phone around noon who notified me that I indeed had the property. She then notified me that someone would be in contact with me shortly to discuss next steps. I was contacted by Angela the next day. We spoke priefly on the phone and she followed up with an email which included the rent ready assessment form that would need to be completed prior to moving forward. The email that I received stated a few things that I needed clarification on. I replied to her email requesting some clarification and I made it clear that I need to be moved in by May 23. I asked if that was a realistic date. She said "YES", it is a realistic date, but she needs the rent ready assessment back in order to get things in line for that. I completed the rent ready assessment on Saturday, May 02 with their agent. I noted that the carpet was dirty, the linoleum in the bathrooms were stained, a bathroom wall fixture was hanging off the wall, numerous bugs crawling in the unit, closet doors either off their tracks and laying on the floor, or completely out of alignment and was not able to me opened. Ceiling fan not rotating and a few additional things but that was the gist of it. Since then, I have not heard from anyone at ResiHome except two times when I called. I was able to speak to someone different each time I got through. Each one promised to get to the bottom of the issues that I was experiencing and follow up with me in the next day, but they did NOT! I have not heard from RESIHome regarding a status, I am outside of the window that I expressed to them that I needed to keep, they have not communicated with me at all about anything. I want my holding Fee ($1575.00) and my application fee ($45.00) returned to me ASAP so I can find a place.

ResiHome Company will not be honest with me about when my A/C unit will be repaired

Company will not be honest with me about when my A/C unit will be repaired. Last Saturday, May 16th, I took my dog outside to play and found that my A/C unit was making a very loud noise and there was smoke coming from it. I immediately turned the unit off and called the emergency maintenance line. When I got in touch with someone, all she could tell me was that since it wasn't over 85 degrees out, no one would do anything for us since it was the weekend. She asked that I put in a ticket and upload a photo. First of all, anything attached to my home that has smoke coming from it, is clearly something that needs to be handled in a timely manner. I understand that you probably do not have someone who has a brand new A/C unit sitting in front of them waiting at the drop of a hat for my phone call, but she could have offered more suggestions than to just wait till Monday. Monday comes and we are told that the entire unit needs replaced. We were told someone would be by Wednesday from 11am-12pm to install it. Since no one came Wednesday, my husband called your maintenance line again, at which point we were told no one would be coming to install the unit that day. My husband was told that they had the unit, but it had to be approved by the owner. Fine. I understand that. But knowing the owner had 48 hours to approve it, I did the math, and that put us at Friday afternoon. I asked Natasha, the ever unhelpful associate I spoke with several times, that if it was approved Friday, would someone be out Friday to install it, or would we have to wait till the following week, she told me that if it was approved Friday, someone would be out the same day. Well, yet again, what we were told would happen, did not happen. I'm sure you can imagine our disappointment and frustration as we were not only reaching our first weekend off in a VERY long time, but also the hottest days in a long time, with very high humidity. When Leo contacted my husband, he told him the work order was approved and that someone would be out either Friday evening or Saturday to install it. He has since sent a message that it would have to be after Monday due to the holiday. So here we are AGAIN, thinking we don't need to make any arrangements, then to find out we do. I was told that none of this was considered an emergency until the temperature ourside was above 85. Well, today it was 87 outside and 85 inside, I have attached a photo. So I called your emergency maintenance line again, as I was starting to become physically ill from the heat in my home. Cairo told me that since it was above 85, he would call and see if the vendor would come out and install tonight. He called me back about 10 minutes later and said that the vendor would be calling me to setup a time to come out tonight. After sometime of not hearing from any vendors, I called back to check on the status, which is when i was told that the vendor was trying to find the correct parts but the stores were all closed so he would not be out tonight. I have two issues with this situation, we had already been told that everything needed to install the unit was purchased and ready to go next week. The second issue I have, is that had I not called back to find out the status, I would have waited around all night for a vendor, only to be wrong, again. When I spoke with Cairo for the final time this evening, he told me that his coordinator had agreed to accommodate us into a hotel, but of course, not until tomorrow. I was told to call tomorrow between 8am and 5pm to make arrangements. He told me that we would need to choose a hotel and let them know where we would like to stay, and that they would book it for us. But I will be honest, I dont trust that we will be taken care of. So here's my situation, it has been a very long 7 days with no A/C. I'm aware that legally you have 14 days to make sure it is up and running. But because we cannot cook in our house because that will raise the temperature, we have had to eat elsewhere, which is starting to cost us a significant amount of mon

ResiHome After paying this company a $1400 deposit 5/14 I have gotten nothing but vague response, no move in date and I have less than 10 full days to

After paying this company a $1400 deposit 5/14 I have gotten nothing but vague response, no move in date and I have less than 10 full days to move I was quickly approved for the house I applied for 5/13. I received an email 5/14 that said I was required to pay the security deposit of $1400 immediately to ensure I don't lose the house. I paid the $1400 5/14 and then received an email from Matthew *** who told me I was his point of contact with WRI. He advised Michelle *** their real estate referral partner& Midwest Leasing Team should be able to keep me informed of the progress on completing final maintenance issues &city requirements. In which the email states their goal is to have all completed within 30 days. I indicated my desired moved in date was 6/13& also indicated the last day I could move was 6/30. This email 5/14 from Matthew included 3 documents for me to complete. I responded with a question about sending the documents back by fax and never got a response. I called Michelle and texted with a question about the documents and never got a response. I did complete them and sent them back by email 5/14. On 5/18 I emailed Matthew and let him know I paid the $1400 and sent the documents to him. I asked if the county had been contacted for the inspection. Michelle responded that she applied for the occupancy inspection and was waiting to hear back from the inspector for an appointment. On 5/19 Michelle advised the inspection would be 5/27. On 5/28 I emailed Matthew& asked now that the inspection has been done if he could provide me a move in date or expected time frame to have a move in date. He responded to me that he didn't have any information on a passed *** inspection. Michelle responded 5/28that it had not been completed and the inspector is rescheduling. I am not sure if I was supposed to be included on the next response but Michelle responded to Matthew& told him the inspection failed. On 6/1 I emailed him & asked how long would it be to get a move in date after the inspection. I emailed Michelle 6/1 & asked if she had a date for the next inspection. Michelle responded that the work had to be corrected before they could reinspect and she asked Matthew if he had a bid approved yet? Matthew didn't respond to my question about how long it takes to get a move in date after it passes *** On 6/3 I emailed Matthew&asked if there was a date for the work to be done. He responded that he didn't have a date. He said he had to give the vendor a couple days to provide an estimate for the items. He said he would follow up with me 6/5. At this point it was obvious I wouldn't be able to move in 6/13. On 6/4 I emailed Matthew and asked what type of work needed to be done to pass *** inspection& if he would expect for all to be done at least by 6/26. I was growing concerned& this company has been so vague with their responses. He responded that once he has the estimate he can evaluate& he would let me know as soon as he has the estimate. At this point my question about what work actually needed to be done still had not been answered. He didn't follow up with me 6/5 as promised. On 6/8 I asked Matthew for an update on the work that needed to be done and estimated time it would take complete. He responded that the estimate was submitted today 6/8, it was quite affordable so it just needed to be reviewed by their maintenance team for confirmation and approval. Michelle responded & said once the repairs are approved, she will watch and get the reinspection. On 6/11 I emailed Matthew with Michelle & leasingMidwest included as I have all emails. I asked if the work had been approved? I asked again may I know the kind of work that is needed and the amount of time expected for it to be completed. I reminded him I really need to know if they expected for all to be done within the timeframe I need to move. On 6/11 Matthew's only response to my questions and concerns was,"The work is pending completion as of 2 days ago and that he requested a completion date." I have no idea what is wrong with the property I have paid a $1400 deposit for. I feel like I've been scammed.
