RIG has been an exceptional company to work with
RIG has been an exceptional company to work with. They did an excellent job, replacing rotten wood and putting on our new roof. Our new roof was put on one year ago and we had a small roof leak only to find out that squirrels had damaged some of our roof. We called the roofing company. They came out and determine the problem and fixed it for us. We highly recommend using them for your roofing needs.
RIG Roofing is great!
RIG Roofing is great! They are super professional and polite. Every single person I spoke with were great! Javier was my sales associate and worked hard to get me what I needed. He was informative and respectful. He was a man of his word. The roof is beautiful, and I have had no issues. The fact that someone comes out to inspect the roof several times after completion is a big plus. So happy I chose them!
We were giving an estimate, signed contract. Everything we were told when we signed contract was a LIE. The working crew was Great! The 750 vents, and sky light didn't get delivered. Someone brought them out ASAP. Vents were not installed! Someone from the company broke our contract, change the way out roof was done WITHOUT talking to us.
THE WORST! ABSOLUTE DISASTER! AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. This is not even the whole story, there is more to it all than even this can cover but I could go on for days about how bad they were... Rig is exactly what you'll get a rigged up, covered up, attempt to deceive and scam you out of money job, with no remorse or even admitting how bad they are. Absolutely the most amateur, unprofessional, hack job I have ever witnessed. I don't know where to begin but it started from the very first meeting with the salesman Javier. I called 6 different companies for quotes. Man did I make a mistake trusting these guys... I asked all contractors the same questions and wanted all bids to reflect the same type or quality materials. R.I.G wasn't the lowest bid by far and I didn't want to go the cheapest route. I believed the spiel I got and I am sorry now. It took 6 weeks from contract signing just to get materials on the job. Longer than anyone else had promised by 2 weeks. The crew that showed up a couple days later were an absolute joke. The so-called supervisor spent all of 20 mins on the job, then was nowhere to be seen for the rest of the day. It did nothing! In one day they tore off all the old roof, replaced and supposedly repaired all bad wood, to the extent of their limited abilities then tried to cover up every failure and fault and the work that they should have done but did not do to an 87-year-old widowed homeowner. The crew started at 7 am and worked till after 8 pm with lights on their heads, still on the roof banging away. Hard to clean up nails in the dark right? Attempts to contact the supervisor for an explanation went unanswered. Every attempt to communicate with the crew leader came away with a smile and a nod due to him not fully understanding English or just plain ignoring every request. The mistakes continued. Nobody on that crew could understand or speak English, It was one of my first requests when talking with the salesman! Only one attempted but it was a fail every time. They finally left, did not return for two days to even attempt to clean up all the nails on, in and near the driveway. I picked up over 45 nails just on and near the driveway alone. A week later I still got nails through the soles of my shoes. I was furious but it got way worse. After I saw it in the light I couldn't believe how sloppy and what a mess they had made of it. Was charged $1600 for wood replacement, Salesman said they would use partial sheets wherever they could, they did not! Whole sheets used for a couple of feet of damage, I had them pull out 3/4 sheets of the dumpster before they hid it under the debris, they used the wrong type of wood on the fascia, Anyone in the roofing business knows that you never use pressure treated on fascia. Not only did they, they ran out of P.T. I guess and then used some wood grain rough sawn white board, all of this along the front of the house. 3 different kinds of wood on the front fascia... NICE! Never mentioning that it is not accepted practices, probably hoping an 87-year-old woman would not notice. I was furious, they were supposed to replace all bad fascia, I had to constantly point out what they did not even attempt to replace and even then they did not do it right. If you could see the sloppy job they did the poor nailing etc... When I called the company operations manager he assured me they would remove the drip edge and then replace all the incorrect fascia and replace it all the way it should have been done. So the same clown car shows back up in another week and proceeds to screw it all up even worse. OF COURSE... let's send the same guys that messed it up. They were supposed to remove the drip edge and then the fascia boards, what do I walk out and see, No removing drip edge... they are trying to cut the fascia board nails off between the soffit and the fascia. I had to stop them but not before they had taken a saw and cut into and shredded the edges of the existing soffit, now creating a whole new mess. They were supposed to remove the drip edge, they tried to avoid that, take another short cut, it made a mess. Supervisor was there, watching all this go down! I had to stop them and have them start over and do it the way it should have been in the first place. They made a mess of it all. BUT, that was not all... I decided to go into the attic to see what it looked like, these crooks, tried to deceive yet one more time. They put a ridge vent on the roof and walked away, but from underneath I could see that they never even cut open the roof for it to vent, Just placed a vent on top. And of course, they left rotted wood edge along the very ridge they were covering. NEVER ACCEPTABLE PRACTICE. I had the supervisor and another employee in the attic to see it for themselves. Sure enough... They did not do it right. Then to make it even worse again, They had torn out two ridge boards between the rafters and just left them on the attic floor with all the debris from the plywood replacement. They left all other boards in place. So we all take pictures, then the clown car comes back yet again, what do they do, they start tearing off the roof and a huge section of shingles in the wrong direction! You have to be kidding. I stop them yet again, ask the supervisor what are you doing now, he argues with me that I am wrong, he is right. There was no ridge vent to the left only to the right. There was no reasoning with these confused, poor excuse for roofers. The worst part yet is that they only cut open the vent directly above the attic access door so that if anyone looked up they would see the first section done properly... but the entire rest of the length was never cut open. They just left all boards in place and did not cut open the roof so it could vent, VERY DECEIVING AGAIN! This mess was an absolute joke in all aspects. They lied, they made every attempt to deceive an 87-year-old widow and then cover up and then just walk away. If I hadn't made the calls, made the complaints, gone over the heads of the 'crew' and the operations manager, straight to the owner... all this would have been their accepted practice. I wonder how many other unsuspecting people have been scammed or duped by these tactics. I came to find out that they pay these guys by the roof so the installers only motivation is to do it as fast as possible, no matter how bad, or wrong or how many shortcuts they have to take. All with the weak company promise that 'we will come back and fix it' again and again and again... That is not any solution especially when you send the same crooks back over and over. They took away 5 years at least of life on these shingles by all the boots that were up there redoing, from top to bottom over and over. The gutters were so full of gravel it was unbelievable, they never bothered to even clean those up. I could go on for days. They were the worst roofing company I have ever seen... Who am I... The son, I worked for a real estate development company for many years. I know a few things about roofing and the type of scamming Gypsy backyard contractors that this state is well known for. I would put these guys right up there with the worst! You should see the pictures. Check out reviews, etc... I will leave pics wherever I can. And by the way, after complaining to the owner he did decide to refund 10%. That just about covered my supervisory and inconvenience costs. I had to drive 100 miles both ways, every time they came back just to oversee them. I should have been on the roof from the very first minute. Every time I left they screwed it up again. That was 10% of their overpriced bid with low-quality material, (every other bid I got had peel and stick underlayment, these guys used synthetic once again to save money and charge the most.) the overcharging for wood replacement, and the worst quality workmanship and communication I have ever seen. So much for matching bids with like materials and the hideous workmanship. That refund did not come close to making up for anything this poorly done. And the promise to keep sending the same poor excuse for a crew to 'fix' it is laughable! They made a lucrative profit on the back of an old woman. DON'T LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU!
RIG was a great company to work with, and they provided an extra level of professionalism when we went looking for quotes
RIG was a great company to work with, and they provided an extra level of professionalism when we went looking for quotes. They were the only company that provided a detailed quote, and did so in a manner that I have come to expect in today's day and age. We also had them install gutters, and it went well. They matched their timeline, and that was during the longer delays due to COVID still impacting the supply chain. We knew from the get go we were going to work with RIG.
I contacted at least 5 roofing companies to address my roofing repair
I contacted at least 5 roofing companies to address my roofing repair. 2 of the companies never even went to the home, but did drone pictures. Another did show up. That company sat in their car, put their hand out and sent out a drone. Then put his hand back out the window, landed the drone, and gave me a quote, for a leaky skylight. Adam from RIG came out, got up on the roof and said my leak was at the ridge vent. Had it repaired in a timey manner, and I've never regretted hiring RIG Roofing. Strongly recommend them.
Great job R
Great job R.I.G. Professional, Honest, Punctual and Hard Working are a few words that describes the R.I.G. team. Adam (sales) and Destiny (job coordinator) answered all my questions promptly and led me through the whole process. I had hurricane damage and was worried it would rain before a tarp could be placed over the damaged area. Adam came out the same day and covered the areas in question until the tarp could be added a few days later. The on site roofers were very respectful and fast. I enjoyed watching them work. ðŸ‘

My husband and I recently had our roof replaced by RIG ROOFING and they truly did an AMAZING JOB. From the office staff, field support and the crew that completed the work, it was phenomenal! Seeing firsthand how hard the crew works throughout the day, tearing off and laying new shingles, not to mention in the hot blazing Florida sun, it really is mind blowing. It is an intricate process and there are so many factors they have to take into account with measurements, materials, layout, and even weather. We don't know how they do it but we sure do appreciate their diligence and making sure we would be happy with our roof. A BIG thank you to the RIG team! 100% recommend!
We had our roof replaced with RIG Roofing in 2020
We had our roof replaced with RIG Roofing in 2020. From our first meeting, our associate Jeremey was professional, honest and polite. He informed us of good, better and best options for replacing our roof within our HOA guidelines. We chose charcoal GAF architectural shingles that came with an outstanding warranty. RIG also included 2 years of maintenance; tree trimming, debris removal, repair nail pops and secure any loose shingles, inspect and caulk flashings as needed, clear gutters of debris, and perform visual roof inspections. RIG has always informed us of their timeline and when to expect them on our property. They have answered all questions knowledgeably and politely. We couldn't have asked for a better experience or team to complete the job, not to mention our roof is beautiful! We even referred 2 of our neighbors who have since replaced their roofs with RIG Roofing.

R.I.G. Construction & Roofing Complaints 1
RIG Construction & Roofing installed our new Galvanized Iron (GI) Roof
RIG Construction & Roofing installed our new Galvanized Iron (GI) Roof. We discovered leaks on April 18 and calls were made to the firm to fix. But no action was taken to fix the issue despite lip service. My wife and I are custom building our new home. We availed of RIG Construction & Roofing to install a brand new Galvanized Iron (GI) roof on a 3,800 sq ft home via our General contractor, [General Contractor's Name]. The contract was signed on July 2, and it took them 6 months to complete the project, which was on January 8. We were exasperated by the delay, but we were patient as buildings sometimes take time and issues may come up. Payments were made in accordance with the contract and paid in full upon completion. Since the home is not yet completed, we do not live in the house yet. By April, windows, doors, and drywalls were completed, and so we have been visiting the home but still not living there. On April 18, there was a massive storm, and that's when we discovered the leak. See pics above. We immediately called our general contractor, [General Contractor's Name], and he, in turn, called RIG Construction & Roofing as it's still under warranty. Calls and messages were left with the RIG Construction & Roofing customer service representatives. On April 24, another massive rain occurred, and again, leaks were found on the drywalls and insulation on one section of the house. (See pics above, but I have several more, but only allowed to post 5 per ComplaintsBoard.com). Again, [General Contractor's Name], our contractor, called RIG Construction & Roofing, and representatives told him they will relay the message. Around the 1st week of May (either the 7th or 8th), David, the owner of RIG Construction & Roofing, came and spoke with both my wife and [General Contractor's Name]. He promised to fix the issue "within 2 to 3 days provided we have to remove some of the windows." [General Contractor's Name] told David to give us a set date so we can coordinate our workers to remove the windows while they replace the flashings, etc. When he left that day, he said he will get back to us with a date. Almost every day on the 2nd and 3rd week of May, [General Contractor's Name] would give a call to David, and calls were not taken and always went to voicemails. While the office representative would say that they have relayed the message to David. Throughout all this time, rain kept on pouring, and our home continued to leak. Drywalls and insulation are now soaked and may have mold on them. Today, May 22, I called David directly, and he took the call since it's my first time calling. He made excuses, saying that [General Contractor's Name] should have called the office to schedule (which he did several times each week), and that it's "been just 2 weeks." I clarified to him that it's been a month with constant rain, and it's leaking on the drywall and insulation. Again today, he promised to get back to me with a specific date to fix next week since we need to have workers come to remove the windows. Around 4:30 pm, I called his office, and Cody said, "No dates yet are made, but we're working on it."
