i would like my expenses to be reimbursed
10.10.2015 with Roma Pass went to Castel San Angelo. We were persuaded to buy the pass because it avoided the queues. At Castel San Angelo, our 1st site, we were refused "Skip the queue" admission twice and told to queue, with the people that had not pre-purchased. It was in torrential rain, we queued for approx. 25 minutes, and did not move far in a very long queue. Being very wet, decided to leave. Went to the office from where we had purchased the Roma Pass, the staff sent us to another place, saying they did not know, the second place sent us back to the first place, then to the information booth adjacent to Saint Peter's Basilica, the lady we spoke to there was very rude, and told us it was our problem and to go back to San Angelo. It was torrential rain, I am 71 years and my husband is 78 and we were already very wet, we are both very fit, but not to be walking to and fro in bad weather with no guarantee of success. We had planned the schedule and the programme for the Roma card, but had now lost the day. This whole problem took approx. 4 hours - queueing, going to and fro as directed by the office staff, and eventually nothing other than being very wet and frustrated. All I was told was told was that their job was to sell the card, not to deal with any problems. I think that any organisation that sells a product should have some responsibility regarding the effectiveness of that product. Unfortunately this seems very much like - "we want your money but we are not bothered about the service." We had scheduled and organised our time in Rome to see as much as possible and thought the Roma pass would be helpful. Unfortunately this was not the case, and we found generally the staff were very unhelpful and quite often quite rude. I have always approached people with courtesy and politeness, and find it upsetting when the response is less than courteous. I would like my expenses to be re-imbursed, .
