This Review of Rosners Appliance Should Be Taken Seriously!
Nine years ago I purchased a washer and dryer pair via telephone. I knew the pricing wasn’t good, but I needed a new machine for the house I just purchased as I was gutting the kitchen and laundry room. They delivered and installed it. All went fine.
A few months later when the kitchen cabinets were decided on and ordered, I thought we’d go back to Rosners. Upon deciding on a self cleaning slide in range, dishwasher, French door refrigerator and above the range microwave, they printed a copy of the appliances so I’d have the measurements for the installation of the cabinets. I did not purchase them at that time. I wanted to think it over.
The next day I’m in Home Depot purchasing things other than appliances. I decided to take a look at their selection of appliances. The “identical” four models Rosners had quoted and said they were giving me a deal on, Home Depot was $450.00 less in cost. The items were not on sale, it was their regular price. Rosners was high priced on the first washer and dryer sale and in giving you a second chance, they were high priced again.
Now, nine years later I was going to purchase a new front load washer and dryer from Best Buyafter shopping 2-3 other places. I thought I’d give Rosners another try. The best they could do, and made it seem like they were doing me a favor, was to come in $105.00 more than Best Buy. For some reason I wasn’t all that comfortable with Best Buy, so I paid the higher cost to Rosners because they have their own trucks and employ the delivery people. Best Buy uses an outside source and I didn’t feel 100 percent comfortable with that.
Upon delivery there was an issue with the water line connection in the house. I needed to have a plumber come in to fix the problem. Rosners delivery people left the washer and dryer in my home. By 4:30pm that same day the repair was finished. Here’s where it gets degrading. I called the store at 4:30pm and left a message for the salesperson to please call me back because I was told he was with a customer. Knowing they close at 6:00 that evening and not receiving a call back I called again. They said they’d let him know. I said I felt it was urgent, thanked him and hung up. My thought was that perhaps someone could come out the next day to do a simple install. At that point the old machines were removed from the area. All that was needed was to hook up two water lines that screw on like a hose and plug in the washer. Then, attach the power cord to the dryer stack it and attach the flexible dryer vent. For an experienced delivery person it would take maybe 15-20 minutes max. Quick, easy and fast. I didn’t receive a phone call that evening or the next morning.
The salesperson knew that it was urgent that a washer and dryer was needed ASAP because the old one was totally inoperable. I waited a bit longer than I should have to purchase them. We were running out of clean clothes.
The next morning I waited an hour and half from when the store opened. Still no return call. I find that to be rude and ignorant, especially when I told the salesperson the house was going up for sale in three months and she was going to purchase a larger house which the kitchen and laundry room would definitely be re-done. There was a future sale waiting for them. It’s very unprofessional to neglect a customer like that. Statistics show that when a customer is upset, agitated with a place of business they tell 7-10 people. When a customer is satisfied they may only tell 3-4 people. I’d rather be working with the lower positive number. They can’t pay for that positive feedback form of advertising from people; it’s priceless.
I called Saturday and asked for a manager. My daughter and I spoke with Darren. He wouldn’t let either of us finish a complete sentence as he continued to interrupt us throughout the call. He wasn’t even listening to what was trying to be said. It was literally his way only. Then he hung up on us. Rude, ignorant, lack of respect for people on his part. Rosner’s employs someone like that. My daughter called him back and his lame excuse was he thought the conversation was over when he knew it wasn’t because she was in mid sentence still speaking.
Apparently they have no respect for their customers. They might tell you they do, but it’s very obvious they don’t if you encounter a situation with them.
I’m sure the Rosners will be told a somewhat different variation of this story, but this is the way things were handled!
I pride myself on being honest.
Their own people can make or break them. These people wouldn’t be in my employ or they would have zero interaction with customers. I say this because I was in business. Without customers there is no Rosners.
Please don’t respond to this review online like you’ve done with some other negative reviews you’ve received. There is obviously a pattern with the way this store operates and the people who manage it. Please don’t say you fixed the situation. You didn’t.
There is no way you can right the wrong your manager Darren created.
Recommendation: Go Elsewhere!
I bought an extended warranty from Rosners for my GE washer
I bought an extended warranty from Rosners for my GE washer. I've had Epic protect fix the washer three times already. The washer has been out of service for 3 weeks and there's still no solution in sight. Epic sent two different teams at different times to diagnose the same problem. I suggest avoiding Rosner's and buying your own policy. Rosner's and Epic don't support their product.
We had to buy a washer and dryer 'cause of the supply chain mess
We had to buy a washer and dryer 'cause of the supply chain mess. Rosners found us one and delivered it in just one day! Delivery was fast and the folks were real nice. I can totally recommend this company for their good service and top-notch appliances. Over the years, we've bought lots of stuff from them and never had any issues! Thanks for keeping your word and doing everything you said you would! They're a great company with awesome customer service!
Should be a zero!
Should be a zero! I bought 4 appliances in Sept 2021. They came by Thanksgiving. Dishwasher never worked right. Complained to Rosners. They sent a repairman who didn't have the part. 2 weeks later, appointment was set and didn't happen. 2 weeks after that, another repairman was supposed to be here between 3-6, showed up at 7, at my gate, then left, set another appointment and never showed. Went back to store and complained to the manager Greg and the owner Jeff. They didn't care, I asked for an exchange and they said No and pushed me out of the store. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with and the repair company Dollins, has the worst customer service too! Never shop there. They take your money and couldn't care less about their customers.
I'm really mad at Rosner's and their whole team
I'm really mad at Rosner's and their whole team. They don't know how to treat customers right, be responsive, or show any empathy. They sold me a fridge 2 1/2 months ago, but it still doesn't work right. They were waiting for a service company to replace a part (even though it's a new fridge), but I got tired of waiting and demanded my money back. I complained to the rep (who was awful) and then to the boss, but they still haven't fixed it. The only thing I could do was dispute the credit card charge because I've tried 5 times to get them to fix it and they won't. They were quick to take our money for the appliance, but they're not so quick to fix the problem. This business is run poorly, and I would NEVER tell anyone to go there. Stay away!
Yeah, so I had this issue with Rosner's Inc
Yeah, so I had this issue with Rosner's Inc. I ordered a cooktop back in April, and after a bunch of calls, it's finally coming in. The problem seemed to be with *** Air, who caused all the trouble. Jenn Air, Maytag, Kitchen-Aid, and Whirlpool are all part of the Whirlpool umbrella. They had this deal going on where if you buy a cooktop and oven, you get some money back and 10% off each item. So, I ordered a refrig, cooktop, oven, fan, and microwave/convection. But here's the thing, I never got a call from the salesman to let me know if anything came in. I had to call them to find out. And even when the items did come in, they didn't bother to notify me. I had to call them to arrange delivery. It's already November and my kitchen is still not complete because there's no cooktop. So, I called the salesman and he tells me that if I cancel the cooktop, I'll lose the deal. Can you believe it? It's been 8 months already! So, I decided to call Jenn Air myself. Turns out, my cooktop was discontinued, but they're replacing it with a new model. I had to be the one to inform the salesman about this. He said it would be here by December 13, but I haven't heard a word since. And get this, Jenn Air is already showing new models of induction cooktops with two rectangles, but those won't be produced for another 6 months. I did all the work, and they have 95% of my money. This is worse than dealing with a car salesman.
I ordered the Bosch Combination Electric Wall Oven with European Convection and Microwave on July 4 for my new kitchen
I ordered the Bosch Combination Electric Wall Oven with European Convection and Microwave on July 4 for my new kitchen. The salesman told me there wouldn't be a wait for this product. Every month I called to check the delivery date, and the salesman promised it would be delivered next month. I had my kitchen guy customize the wall to fit the product based on the specs. But each month turned into another month. Now it's Feb 2022, and the salesman said the customer who ordered before me still hasn't received their order. So why did he recommend this one? A year of backorder? Why take a deposit and not even provide an estimated delivery date? If he knew the customer who ordered 6 months before me hadn't received their product, why recommend it to me? My kitchen guy finished the kitchen months ago, but I still have a hole in my wall. Don't listen to anything they say. They don't call or follow up on your order. Other reputable companies treat customers better than Rosner's Inc.
Terrible customer service!
Terrible customer service! We were refered by many people and did not shop for prices we just bought because of the recommendation but once appliances were delivered everything changed. The delivery folks were amazing they were on time and very friendly. This is our winter home so we were on vacation we were very excited to finally do a load in our new washer we loaded it left to go to the pool and hours later returned to a flood. We called Rosners the next day as they closed for the day and all we got was attitude our delivery was on a Thursday we called Friday and they said they will have someone out Tuesday we are like what are you talking about we just spend a few thousand dollars and you are actually telling us this. After my wife talking to many people we were able to get that changed to Saturday which still was really bad customer service but we took it we were not waiting until Tuesday. My wife also asked to speak to the owner and we got the run around. We own a large service company back home and me the owner is available any time for any customer. I would never buy from this company again. They need a really good lesson in customer service its amazing they have lasted this long in business. They would not last a second back home with there attitudes. Be vigilant with these guys they are all nice while in store but watch out if you have problems. And do you think they checked in on us to make sure everything is working. Bad Bad Bad and really Bad.
We bought a new LG Dishwasher from Rosner's (Salesman Robert Feller) and set up installation for 11/20
We bought a new LG Dishwasher from Rosner's (Salesman Robert Feller) and set up installation for 11/20. Before installation, my husband took out the old dishwasher and put it in the carport to save time 'cause we had company coming later that day. "Manny Installers" came on 11/20. They needed a plug 'cause my old dishwasher was hardwired, telling me "Well we can hardwire it in if you want, but that's not how it's supposed to be done." So I ran to the store to get them a plug. I was charged extra for them to install the plug. About 20 minutes after they left, I went outside and saw the old dishwasher was still in the carport. I called them and said they forgot to take the old dishwasher and they replied "What do you mean?" I said "I was told the price of installation included the removal of the old dishwasher." They said "Well we're already down in Boca now, so you can just put it down by the road." Well, our bulk trash pickup is on Thursday - which happened to be Thanksgiving. Sooo I was left with our old dishwasher sitting on the side of the house for almost 2 weeks until the following Thursday. After running the dishwasher a few times on different settings, I was definitely not happy with it. Wet dishes, wet inside the dishwasher, etc. I called Rosner's and left a message for the salesman, who called me back early the next morning (12/1). I explained why I was not happy with the dishwasher and asked about returning it for something else. After a few minutes of back and forth about Jet Dry (I don't like the thought of spraying chemicals that will leave a residue all over my dishes to make them dry. Sorry.), he said he would have someone from LG come out to my house and increase the internal temperature of the dishwasher. A few days later, the service man (definitely an independent handy-man type of repair man, and not "from LG") came out, went to the dishwasher, called LG customer care, pressed a few buttons and told me he fixed it. I signed a paper he wrote up stating that he "set the temperature to 4". I ran the dishwasher that night (on the highest temperature, with extended night dry) and still everything was wet inside afterward. I called the salesman again and he just said "You're gonna have to come in and talk to a manager." So on Friday, 12/10 I went in and spoke with a man sitting at a desk who basically told me they won't take the unit back 'cause they can't sell it once it's been used. They keep going on and on about Jet Dry, and I said I don't want to use Jet Dry. I told them if the sales person had told me these LG dishwashers literally won't dry your dishes without adding chemicals, I would have either gotten a different model that has a heated dry setting, or had my old dishwasher repaired for $190. Instead I paid $629 for a dishwasher that only does half of what I want it to do, and paid an additional $145 for the installers who only did half of what THEY were supposed to do. Feeling very ripped off at this point, I told him flat out, "We came to Rosner's 'cause we wanted to support a local business. I could have gotten this exact dishwasher for the same price with the same 0% financing from Best Buy, Lowe's, or Home Depot - ALL OF WHICH WOULD ALLOW ME TO RETURN IT IF I AM UNHAPPY within 30 days. Instead, you're telling me I came to spend my money here, and now I am stuck with a dishwasher I hate 'cause YOU can't resell it once it's been used? Not to mention that over the course of the next year, we will be buying a new oven, refrigerator, and washer & dryer. We would love to spend our money here, but I have to feel like you have my back a little bit on this!" He said "Ok let me call LG and see what I can do. I'll get back to you on Monday. Give me til Monday." Well, it's now been 3 Mondays and he still hasn't called me back. Terrible customer service at Rosner's and they will never get another dime from me. This is what I get for trying to support a local business.

Rosners sold me a cooktop that was delivered not working
Rosners sold me a cooktop that was delivered not working. They won't take it back or replace it. I bought a cooktop from Rosners. It was delivered not working. They should have replaced it, but instead sent a repairman to fix it. They said if it broke again, it would be deemed a "lemon," and then they would replace it. Well, it broke again 2 days later, and they will not replace or refund. It's going on a month now with no stove in the middle of a pandemic with 4 kids to feed. This is ridiculous.
I had an appointment to finish the installation, but they didn't show up
I had an appointment to finish the installation, but they didn't show up. I waited on hold for 53 minutes to talk to the manager who set up the appointment. They said the service was scheduled for a different day (if that's true, it's their mistake because I wouldn't have scheduled anything on that day and we never talked about it). They hung up on me and didn't answer when I called back. Since then, I've been on hold or hung up on for 19 minutes. I want to talk to the manager about this problem and find a solution.

One day after delivery, I noticed three issues with the cooling, circulation, and water/ice
One day after delivery, I noticed three issues with the cooling, circulation, and water/ice. It's been two weeks now, and there's been no solution, just excuses. The problem occurred on April 15, just two days after I purchased the model WRS321SDHZ from Rosner's Inc. My order number is XXXXXXXX, and the reference number is XXXXX. The sales representative, Lee, assisted me with the purchase, and I paid $1283.97 using my VISA card. The manager, "G," is still waiting for Whirlpool to decide whether they will replace the faulty appliance. On April 21, he mentioned that if we didn't hear anything from Whirlpool by April 22, he would make the decision himself. However, he took the day off, and now no one else is addressing this issue. It has been two weeks, and I have lost a significant amount of food. I would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thank you.
So I bought this new GE refrigerator from Rosner's Inc
So I bought this new GE refrigerator from Rosner's Inc. and guess what? It arrived all banged up. Like seriously, who delivers a damaged fridge? Anyway, they said they would send a replacement door, but guess when it arrived? Right smack in the middle of Christmas week. Like, come on, couldn't they plan better? And you know what's even worse? Nobody bothered to tell me this was happening. No follow-up, no confirmation, nothing. Talk about lousy customer service. I tried reaching out to Greg, the general manager, but he's been MIA. Doesn't even know when the door will be installed. And get this, he stopped responding to my emails. Can you believe it? So I gave him an ultimatum, either pick up the whole order (fridge and dishwasher) and give me a full refund, or at least respond to me. But guess what? No response to that either. I'm so fed up with all this back and forth.
On July 30, I bought an LG French door refrigerator from Rosner's Inc
On July 30, I bought an LG French door refrigerator from Rosner's Inc. The delivery was scheduled for August 6. However, when the drivers arrived, they noticed that the back of the refrigerator, where the motor and condenser are located, was damaged. As a result, they took it back. Now, the store manager, Greeg, informed me that I have to wait for another one for a period of 2 to 4 weeks. I decided to spend money on a new refrigerator because my old one wasn't working. I asked the manager what I should do in this situation. He advised me to visit the store and choose another one. I explained to him that I had already been to the store and the one they had was the only one that matched my required measurements.
We was told we could get a 5% rebate if we bought three ** appliances
We was told we could get a 5% rebate if we bought three *** appliances. They gave us a flyer in the store and the website had the same info. We sent in the rebate and got an email saying the fridge wasn't part of it. We talked to the store a bunch of times, in person and by email, and they always said we'd get the rebate. It's been over a month and we complained to the manager but nothing happened. We want a refund for the rebate they promised - 5% of $2792.58 = $139.63. Thanks.
Purchased an LG Refrigerator from Rosner's Inc
Purchased an LG Refrigerator from Rosner's Inc. on 3/20/22 for a whopping $10,560.86. It was delivered on 3/23/22. The very next morning, we realized there were some major issues. No ice, no water, and the control panel was completely unresponsive. To make matters worse, the vegetable bin froze all the veggies inside. We immediately called for service, but they couldn't come until 4/11/22. When the authorized repair person finally arrived, they informed us that the refrigerator couldn't be fixed.
We made numerous calls to Rosner's, but they either didn't return our calls or when they did, we had to repeat the entire situation all over again. They kept saying it needed to be reviewed by a manager, but then we would get a call back from a customer service representative (who asked us AGAIN) about the problem. Apparently, she needed to speak with an LG representative and promised to call us back the next day. Surprise, surprise, no call back.
Today, we called again and found out that she still hadn't spoken with the LG rep, but she assured us that she would send an email. We have clearly stated that we want a new refrigerator, but this afternoon, we received a notice saying that a service person would be contacting us for service.
In March , I bought a new microwave from Rosner's Inc
In March , I bought a new microwave from Rosner's Inc. for $350+. It got delivered in April, but by May , it stopped working. I reached out to the store right away, and they sent someone to fix the brand new broken microwave. They said a part needed to be ordered, and according to their records, it arrived on 6/25. However, they didn't contact me until 7/28 to schedule the second repair. The repair team showed up on 8/2, but my microwave still wasn't working. I called Rosners to ask how long it would take for a repair or replacement, and they told me it's not their problem and it's up to the manufacturer! I had a working microwave for less than 60 days! The general manager, Greg, hasn't been available to assist me, and the receptionist says I'm not authorized to come in and ask for a replacement. I really need help to resolve this issue!
was sent out to fix the unit but they never showed up
was sent out to fix the unit but they never showed up. Finally, after numerous calls and complaints, they sent someone to fix it. However, the technician did a sloppy job and the unit still didn't work properly. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and customer service from Rosner's Inc. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Whirpool refrigerator motor(s) runs loudly and continuously
Whirpool refrigerator motor(s) runs loudly and continuously. We bought a Whirlpool fridge from ***'s in March . Since it arrived, the fridge motor(s) have been running nonstop, even when the door ain't open. The noise is crazy loud, can hear it in every room of our house. Right after it got delivered, we called ***'s and their "consumer advocate" said they'd set up an appointment with Flamingo Appliance Service to send a tech to check it out. But the tech didn't show up on the day, so we had to make another appointment for the next week. The tech inspected it, agreed it was noisy and loud, but said there was no way to fix it. He said the unit has more than one motor, so that's why it's so noisy. We've been calling ***'s over and over again in the following weeks, telling them how unbearable the noise is. We said we wanted to return it and get a more expensive one, but every time their "consumer advocate" said they ain't accepting returns because of "the virus," which is totally irrelevant and makes us mad. We asked to talk to Mr *** himself, but they kept turning us down. We tried to get used to the noise, but it's impossible. Needless to say, we ain't ever buying anything from ***'s again, and we tell everyone we know to stay away from them. ***'s used to be a great company, but not anymore.
I bought 5 appliances from Rosner's Inc
I bought 5 appliances from Rosner's Inc. All of them were the same brand, but there was a problem with the colors. The refrigerator is a colder grey steel, while the range is a warmer golden steel. This wouldn't be an issue if they weren't placed close together in our kitchen, but they are, and the difference is noticeable. I contacted the salesperson to see if there was a solution. They said that the appliances should be the same color according to the paperwork. I asked to speak to a manager, hoping for a resolution, but they said they couldn't do anything and I should just get used to it. They didn't offer any refunds or exchanges. I tried to find in my sale receipts where it said that all sales were final, but couldn't find anything. I emailed my salesperson about it, but didn't get a response. Out of principle, I called back and asked for customer service. They said they didn't have any customer service representatives, which was surprising because the salesperson had talked about their great customer service. I asked to speak to a manager, but they said they were all in a meeting and took my number to have someone call me back. It's been two days and I haven't heard anything. In the meantime, I haven't even turned on the range, hoping for a different solution. I chose Rosner's because I thought they had good service and products, but it turns out that's not true at all.
On 07/12 me and my 84-year-old mom went to Rosners appliances to buy her a 4-appliance GE kitchen suite cuz her friends said it's good
On 07/12 me and my 84-year-old mom went to Rosners appliances to buy her a 4-appliance GE kitchen suite cuz her friends said it's good. But then the salesman made the invoice and it was like $400 more than Best Buys invoice for the same stuff. So then this sales manager guy came and said Rosners got good customer service but it ain't worth the extra money. We on a fixed income so we went to BestBuy cuz they had a better deal. But then the salesman came back and showed us this mail-in order form from Nationwiderebatecenter.com and said we could get $400 back on a gift card. We bought everything and went home. I filled out the forms but then I got an email saying we only get $100 back. I called the salesman and sent him my docs but he said my mom ain't eligible for the deal. But the salesman told us she was and even circled it on the form. I tried calling the sales manager but he never called me back. I spoke to this assistant sales manager guy a couple times but he just said the best we can get is $200 and that's it. This is fraud against a senior citizen and we feel helpless cuz we got lied to about the cost.
We bought a suite of Monogram kitchen appliances from Rosner's Inc
We bought a suite of Monogram kitchen appliances from Rosner's Inc. for over $24,000 on March 5, 2022. We had to wait for about 5-6 months for the delivery. When the oven arrived, it was damaged. Thankfully, a technician came to our house and replaced the damaged panel within two weeks. However, about a month later, the refrigerator was delivered in a damaged state. The right side door was badly creased, indicating that it had been dropped at some point. Even when we open the door just a little bit, it scrapes against the metal frame of the refrigerator, causing significant damage. We called a service technician who told us that the damaged door needed to be replaced, but unfortunately, the refrigerator frame couldn't be replaced if it got damaged because it wasn't a replaceable part.
We reached out to Rosner's to inform them about the technician's findings. However, our once friendly sales representative, who we used to have a good relationship with, became extremely agitated, rude, and hostile right from the start. He told us that he knew we were expecting a replacement refrigerator, but we wouldn't be getting one. He even mentioned that we would have to wait another 6-8 months for a replacement, if at all. Rosner's only offered to replace the damaged door and expected us to continue using the damaged fridge until the replacement door arrived, which would take around 60 days. Our sales representative abruptly ended the call, and when we tried to reach the general manager, he was conveniently "unavailable" during all three of our attempts to contact him by phone. We were informed that the replacement door would be delivered on Friday, October 7th, but it never arrived, and we didn't receive any communication from Rosner's that day. Since August 30, 2022, we haven't heard from anyone at Rosner's, except for an email from the general manager apologizing for being too busy to speak with us.
When we decided to purchase appliances from Rosner's, we didn't expect to receive damaged or discounted items. We were understanding and forgiving when it came to the damaged oven, but we are now demanding a full replacement for the refrigerator we spent approximately $10,000 on.
