I was on vacation in the Bahamas and approached by Royal Holiday about their club. I was led to believe that the same Marriott Resort was one of the properties in their program. They took me on a tour of the junior suite that would be available and they also gave me a catalog of RCI resorts that would also be available. When I tried to schedule another vacation there six months later I was told that the Marriott was not in their list. It was too late to terminate the agreement. Since then, I have only stayed in two facilities and they were run down and filthy. It appears that the only facilities that might be ok are in Mexico. I am 74 and have lymphedema and venous reflux in my legs and won't take the risk of long flights. I also don't feel safe traveling there alone. I considered working with Wesley Financial but a long list of complaints and a law suit made me wary. Law firms won't work with me because of it's incorporation in the Bahamas. I have spoken with them multiple times but they say that there's no way to cancel the 30-year agreement. I don't expect a refund, I just want OUT.
