Alarm doesn't work and it's over 1k to cancel
After purchasing a house my boyfriend and I decided to get a security system. A safe haven rep came knocking on our door in December, he was selling ADT systems. Figuring ADT is a great system because several people have it we decided to sign up. A tech came the next day and it took over 7 hours for him to juat place the panel. He kept calling someone to get help because he didn't know what he was doing. He couldnt even show us how to use it or change our code because he didnt know how to use it. He left at 9pm and we called to ask for a new tech. The new tech came a week later and told us that the previous rep placed the panel I the wrong spot. A couple weeks later the garage sensor and door goes off and doesn't respond, we keep getting notifications. The alarm will go off randomly when its armed. The panel hasn't responded in over 2 weeks. Called customer service and no one can help. I asked to cancel because the system hasn't worked since day one, they say they can't help me it's over $1,000 to cancel. I asked for a manager and corporate number they say they don't have a corporate number and they cant transfer me to anyone. I am extremely unsatisfied with the customer service. Now wr are stuck with a system that doesn't work.
Recommendation: No
Disaster!! Worst experience ever! Not even 1 star should be given... Stay away!
We thought this was a professional company and we paid $29,000 dollars for a system that never worked! What a rip off, wasted 3 weeks of our life's trying to make it work alarms going on at 3:00 am every other day and NEVER got monitoring service. Nobody called us on our last horrific incident with over 500 messages of alarm malfunctions in 2 min. (SEE ATTACHED VIDEO).
Now trying to get our money back! - Seems like that is a very hard task. We have advised Safe Heaven that we have terminated our relationship with them and ADT multiple times but we are still waiting to be in contact with the responsible person from Safe Heaven.
Keith who was in charge of our account and installation was super unprofessional and over charged us on all items by more than a 100% mark up on some of the equipment.
Keith sold and promised us the best alarm system to protect our life's, our property and our belongings. Nothing could be more [censored]...
Terrible experience with unprofessional jokers. Stay away. Our sales rep. Ashley also super unprofessional. She only wanted us to pay for the defect non working system and had no time for our final decision to terminate with Safe Heaven and ADT.
We just moved to GA and we live in the Alpharetta, Cumming area. We are posting this review so you can AVOID making the same mistake we just did. To TRUST Safe Heaven and ADT to protect our life's, our property and our belonging.
Worst experience ever!
Recommendation: STAY AWAY.....
Misleading sales experience
DO NOT RECOMMEND - save yourself the money and headache by doing it yourself. Sales experience was very misleading, and I was charged $475 for three extra sensors ($30 each on Amazon). This was never conveyed to me until I received the bill weeks later, and they refused to let me do a return so now I'm stuck with this absurd expense. Horrible customer service.
Recommendation: Buy security systems sensors and do it yourself.
Dishonest salesman
The sellers of the house my wife and I bought complained to our agent about a pick up truck staking the house thinking it was us. The salesman showed up out of the blue in a pick up the day we moved in a week later coincidence? He said we were suppose to be notified after we bought our house, of him coming ,he also said it was viewed as an necessary safety service. We were interested with the sales pitch so far, he left out certain things we learned through were out right lies by deception and out right omission. For example only 3 days to be able to cancel was one of them. He stated the monitoring will not work for the first two months we would have to call emergency services if needed the alarm had a learning curb and to stop false alarms during the learning process (than why do the charge you) , he also said old alarm equipment will be removed this was a lie asked the tech he did not know what I was talking about, the service man had issues took over 3 days install One of those days it was to rainy he said and could not come out, two cameras the wires was tucked into eve on the out side of the house , he said my modem/router was causing issues ( how my computers, tv, phones ,all worked fine) asked if I could have the bandwidth split to 2 and 5ghz I called my provider and did as asked still could not get it running . The tech said I needed different modem , I went to xfinity and got a replacement this all took more than 3 days.
After reading the contract My wife(the contract is in her name)and seeing all the stuff the salesman and tech left out or misinformed us about the scope of the install and about being able to cancel service in the first 3 months with out charge ,My wife never got a copy of the contract , doesn't remember signing anything that looks like it the only email she has is an install order. Everything they install is not free as told it is almost rent to own
called safe haven all they will say is they have a contract
no matter what they sales man will tell you they will say they have a contract how can a contract be valid if it is based on lies
If I could give Safe Haven a zero rating I would
If I could give Safe Haven a zero rating I would. This is my second review and I have this to say, I dont know how a company can keep a salesperson after a complaint was made about them. Back on June I purchase the *** system from *** whom works for Safe Haven and let me mention hes my neighbor as well. For almost a year I had nothing but problems with my cameras and I had service out to me about 4-5 times. My ex husband even told *** about the cameras not working and *** told him that he would get his best service man out, after waiting 2 weeks and ***T responding to my text asking him about it, I called Safe Haven and the girl who answered advised me that there was *** service call put in with *** and she herself set up an appointment that I had to pay for. Long story short, after several attempts with *** HELP from *** the salesman, the service manager himself came out as well as another service gentleman and both of them fixed the issues. Now its not 100% but it works better then it did. I would love to reach out to *** the CEO himself and ask him how they can keep sales people that DON'T help the customers but yet make a commission off the customers money. Now of course if you asked the general manager she will say he does a great job, because they are tight nit so I wouldn't go by managers reviews, I would reach out to the customers when it comes time for recognition and see the real truth about your sales people. Almost a year of *** dealing with your company and the sales person is still selling *** to people...you should be ashamed. By the way, I'm in *** so if you read this review do your self a favor and do not deal with *** as your sales person!"
Great service from ***! She took her time to explain and walk me through the process from start to finish. Her customer service was amazing. No matter the day or time, she wouldnt hesitate to answer my call or return my call and help me solve my issues. Couldnt have asked for a better representative.
They are crooks ! They dont even deserve one star ! I tried to cancel because the cameras are awful. They stated oh you have only 3 days to cancel after that you owe us $1700 for what? Customers should have 30 days this is crazy! They are over priced as wel!
Run for the hills. I called to get this service cancelled . The lady I spoke with told me I would no longer have access to the service it was canceled. I asked her for the early termination payout which she provided. Im thinking the service is canceled but theyre still going in my account taking money. Called again got the run around until i finally was able to speak with someone she stated the didnt cancel the service. I said thats not what the lady told me. Stated the only way to cancel the service is for me to pay her the termination fee first. I have never heard of anything like that and thats certainly not what the lady told me. I no longer want the service so I will be going to my bank to show them the document of how I canceled and theyre still taking funds out.
Wow no wonder , am seeing these reviews here! I had same experience. I called them up in 3 days and cancelled the contract. The agent said the contract was void but still the contract was active. They are taking money out of my account. They are holding me liable for 36 months. I guess they dont have customers and they follow fraudulent sales practices to get customers locked for 36 months. Though I cancelled within 3 days, they want to lie around and hide that fact and still charge me
i had services set up with safe haven and was told that if i wasnt happy that i had three days from install to cancel, which i did
i had services set up with safe haven and was told that if i wasnt happy that i had three days from install to cancel, which i did. with ADT and Safe haven. was contacted to have the equipment removed and was told they would be there on July 15th between 4-6. at *** Jasper *** about 2 hours away from me and he still had an hour worth of work on the job he was currently working, so he setup a removal for the next day. After the removal the Tech told me to contact customer service on Monday July 18, to see about the Refund. when i called Safe Haven the *** representative told me that ADT was the one who had to issue the Refund, then turned around and tried to get me to setup security with Vivient. which i stated no thank you, but she kept persisting and started to talk over me, when i kept stating i just wanted the refund. then she hung up on me. i contacted ADT to talk to them about the situation, and they told me that Safe Haven had to issue the refund as all they did was provide the monitoring. i again contacted Safe Haven to try and resolve this by email and by phone call. this time i was sent to 3 different people before finally being hung up on again. this is very unprofessional. all i want is my money back. and to be done with this whole situation. the sales rep and the install techs were very friendly and professional. and so was the removal tech. but the customer service through Safe *** needs some work. i know i signed a contract but i was well in my 3 day window to cancel which i did, with a full refund. I have the emails to prove and the phone calls as i record all my calls in and out. please just remedy this and i will be done. thank you
Great service from Tariq. Wanted to make sure my family is protected. Treats you like family. Very respectful and courteous. *** the installer was very friendly and respectful. Both agents were great
We were told to install ADT through this company by our building company. They have refused to provide service and installed faulty equipment. Now, as we are trying to cancel service within the 6 month window, they want to charge us $60 to have a tech come and make sure the equipment- which is showing as not working in their system- is truly faulty. I would have no problem with a technician coming to our house to check their faulty equipment, but we have to pay $60 for it? When its a service we dont even want and they are just trying to keep us as customers? What am I missing here? Absolutely ridiculous and ***. I also was on hold for over 1 hour and 30 minutes.
This company is horrible. I have called many times to have the issue resolved and they always do a tech reset. Now that I have complain and no longer want a remote reset but someone to come look at the faulty equipment they refuse without charging me $60. Why should pay for equipment I have tried getting fixed for months. Their xustomer.swrvicw rep. *** rude and refused to allow me to talk to management. In addition I STILL have a ugly hole in my wall from when the service tech put the equipment in an unusable spot.
Don't answer the door when they come knocking! If you sign up for ADT through SafeHaven, you have to then cancel through SafeHaven, but some of your customer support is provided by ADT. It's a very confusing set up from a customer perspective. Cancelling through *** is next to impossible. They don't answer, return calls, or respond to emails. And of course, you can only cancel by getting one of their operators on the phone. But you can bet they will hound you to get you to sign up. Do yourself a favor, buy *** cameras and put them up. No subscription necessary and the technology is the same.
First off, I wish I could give Safe Haven a negative star rating along with ***
First off, I wish I could give Safe Haven a negative star rating along with ***. As I was finishing the last process before closing on my house, I clicked on the *** link to inquire about and get a quote for a new security system for my property. The sales person gave a great spill about the product and the price seemed reasonable. First warning, the installer drove over 2 hours to get to my house and his van was covered in other companies logos (DISH, *** etc..) to include the "Authorized Dealer" for ***. He installed most of the equipment but could not get the thermostat panel to work and said he'd come back next week to finish. Second warning, when he left, he also left a mess. He did not clean up drywall trash that was on the floor nor did he route the wire for my outdoor camera correctly (it's plugged in directly to the outlet on the porch). On his way home, he called me to let me know he wasn't authorized to install the thermostat panel and I would have to hire an electrician or HVAC person to install it. The sales person did not disclaim that when they were selling me their product and when I spoke with an *** rep, she stated any company that sells their equipment can also install it. Needless to say, the installer has been to my house 4 times and none of the equipment is working properly or not at all. The only consistent thing about this company is their monthly billing (in which I'm not paying for anything that's hasn't worked from the beginning). I've called both Safe Haven and *** on numerous occasions only to be on hold for almost 2 hours with no resolution. I could write so much more but I will give this warning to whoever is considering a home security system-STAY AWAY FROM SAFE HAVEN. I filed a police report for fraud against Safe Haven.
Our salesman Tariq was amazing and went above and beyond for us. We ran into a little hiccup on our installation, but he took care of us with no hesitation. The start-up process for the installation was done quickly, and we are very pleased with the overall finish product.
This company came and knocked on my door, pretended to be ADT, even had an ADT badge and told me he worked for ADT. No, this is an authorized scammer for ADT. They fraudulently got my girlfriend to sign a contract with my name on it at the day of install, also told her we could cancel at any time without a fee. They lied and tied us into a 3 year contract if we cancel we have to pay the remainder of the months left on the contract at full price. How does that even make sense - especially a contract that was fraudulently handed over to someone else whose name wasn't on it? And how are this company ok with handing a tablet to someone else and tell them to just sign my name on it?Fine, we'll keep the system but IT NEVER WORKS. Sensors have been replaced and still give us issues. The doors are "open" when they aren't. The alarm overrides unopened doors because it thinks it's open, AT THE MOST VULNERABLE ENTRY POINTS OF MY HOUSE. Last night, I woke up to 2 police officers knocking on my door at 2 am. Apparently my alarm went off and notified the PD because my alarm had been tampered with. THIS SYSTEM COSTS 70 DOLLARS A MONTH and I'm tied for 3 years and it doesn't even work!I'm so sick of this system - we don't even arm our home because we are tired of our alarm going off for no reason. This is supposed to give me a peace of mind and instead I'm paying for a headache.Icing on top? Sure, I called safe Haven today to come look at my system and apparently the contract I DID NOT SIGN says that there is a 60 dollar service fee to send someone out. Seriously, wtf am I paying for at this point? Never will I ever recommend safe Haven to anyone I know or even anyone I don't!
I would give zero stars if I could. First I was not told that this was a third party through ADT, NOT actually ADT. Someone came to my home and said that the previous homeowners left us a *** dollar credit for our home to be secured. That as it turns out is a lie! Also we were pushed into something we did not need. So I call ADT thinking that i'm going to just cancel, well they told me it is through Safe haven and that they do not even go door to door! So I call safe haven, first they were nice and connected me to who I needed to be connected too. This guy was AWEFUL! of course he was trying to upsell me because thats what they do on anything you try to cancel. which i understand but then he went into a whole TEN minute spiel about how i need to keep my family safe and how dare i as a mother sacrifice this safety for them. He also told me well maybe i should cancel *** or hulu if i cannot afford it. Sacrifice for your family. I let him go on and on and I was being very gracious trying to be like yeah, i appreciate that but i need to just cancel, my husband and I need to discuss more...he then in a very rude clipped tone says ok, well your account has been cancelled BYE. SO rude, we were going to discuss and call them back in a month or so but now lost us FOR LIFE!
The two guys teamed up and got the job done! This is my second time working with them.
From knock of the door to install to trying to get our cancellation accepted, working with these guys has been nothing but a nightmare
From knock of the door to install to trying to get our cancellation accepted, working with these guys has been nothing but a nightmare. First, their sales people came to our door at 8:30 at night. We never should have let them in but we were caught so off guard. Second they scheduled the install the next day without even checking if that time worked for us...it didn't. When the installer actually showed up, he was later than his time window and took an additional 2+ hours to complete the install as he tried to up-sell me for $1000+ of other stuff multiple which I already stated I didn't want. Once the installer left we immediately decided we no longer wanted their services. Our contract stated we had a 72 hour window in which to mail a cancellation notice. We mailed that the following day 6/10 (which was dated within the 72 hour window). I never heard anything back so I reached out and ask about when they would be coming to install and the rep told me that our notice of cancellation was not within the 72 hour window because the postmarked date on the letter was 6/15 and that was outside of our time frame. COVID-19 has caused letters and such to be delayed in being postmarked (I spoke with a lady from the post office I mailed the letter from to confirm). Safe Haven is refusing to acknowledge our notice of cancellation and is charging us with an early termination fee without providing any guidance on how we can prove it was mailed out within the 3 day window. Not only is this unethical but they are breaching their agreement in their own contract by not acknowledging our notice of cancellation. Buyer beware of this. Even if you cancel within your rights of the contract they will try to provide a lame and downright unethical excuse and deny your cancellation. Do not allow them in your home.
Can't get anyone on the phone. My keyboard 5 mths later is still in my garage because the technician couldn't make a hole in the wall.Wasn't told that a 3rd party! They want $1000 to get out of contract.I purposely set of the alarm, Nobody ever calls!
My equipment stop working less than 2 months after purchasing and hasnt worked properly since and with new equipment they still want you to pay a service fee it still hasnt been a year and service worked only one month and the fees are $95+ for service calls and youre locked in a 3yr contract for service that doesnt work they are reselling ADT without the customer service and took my original equipment without my consent
There are not enough adjectives to describe my disgust for this company. There is nothing Safe about getting into a bogus business deal with this company. Once we moved into this home that was built over 70 years ago, we were hounded about money that was available for a security system that we were just wasting. All we needed was a Doorbell Camera that we could have gotten from Ring.Com or Best Buy. Each time I called to have this bogus sell cancelled, it was always someone telling me that I would owe large amounts of money to cancel. Two of my family members are in the struggle of their lives dealing with cancer. My niece is currently undergoing chemo and unable to work. She and her husband have three (3) small children and could use the money this company is deducting monthly for a system that is serving no purpose. There is NO WAY they cannot see that we are not using this system. I keep putting this in writing because there is no way I want to have a conversation over the phone with a company that lacks integrity. It makes me ill each time I see a deduction taken..If I could rate them lower I would. Their sales rep intentionally misrepresented himself by saying he was with ADT directly. He lied and said that he came to my door because it was set up through my realtor at my house closing. They never disclosed a 3 day window to cancel service. It was in the contract that the tech rushed through. He offered a 2 months free promotion. I was charged twice in the same month. I contacted the rep as he said he would be my point of contact for any concerns and informed him I wanted to cancel. This was during the 3 day cancellation period. Nobody ever got back to me so I started calling around to find out that the rep was fired so they wont honor the fact that I did everything that I was TOLD to do by their own employee at the time. I do not want to continue business with a company who does not honor their own contract and lies for commissions
Ha! I wish I could give zero stars. First and foremost, if this is not a scam it should be considered. Lets start with ***, speeding into my driveway with no authorization to even be there then question my contractors about the homeowner. Then proceeding to tell me I was emailed and left information that she would be visit my home. Lets be clear no one came demand to come to your home but I listen to her sale pitch. I personally recorded our entire interaction Advising her I had cameras. They attempt to bully you into a system advising they are ADT when in fact they are authorized dealers. So it was time for my installation, I push back work items to be here at the arrival time since my system could take up to 6 hours per ***. So I picked a time that would allow me to do it. 30 mins go by , no installer . I contact the rep she advised my appoint was not until 9. ( lie #1) so I advised the form says 8-2. She then was calling for an ETA. ***then I get a notification from my CC advising a charge from safe haven was process . I contact customer service & spoke to fairly rude individual who claim they would need to cancel my contract. Mind you an installer still has not come and I have not even signed a contract yet Im being charged an activation fee I advised this to *** She proceed to give scare tactics and twist my words when I advised how disrespectful safe haven customer service was and how I was inconvenience and only getting excuses and the blame place around. I then told this lady I was not interested in the service and to have a great day she decided to keep texting& make smart remarks .Even thought as a professional trying to win a customer who you all drop the ball on that it would be a good idea to insult and laugh at my message. *** shouldnt be allowed to interact with anyone.
I am a former employee of this company
I am a former employee of this company. They are recognized as the top dealer of ADT Security Systems. The product is wonderful. The company is not. There is incredible discrimination against females, as well as against single parents. Leadership is severely lacking, communication is next to nonexistent. I recently quit my job with this company because they tried to tell me that completing my job was paramount, which meant that taking care of my children was to be placed second to completing my job. Now, this would not be a problem normally. However, when I was hired on with this company, during the interview process, we were told that we were only required to have availability between 8 am and 6 pm. We were never told that jobs would extend past those hours. Myself and other coworkers have experienced jobs extending outside of those hours. Normally, I am not one to complain about these things because I am a single parent and need to ensure that my children are taken care of. However, I *** the line when my supervisor told me I would have to complete a job (that likely would not have been complete until about at least 9 pm because I was still at a different job at 6 pm) that was an hour plus away from my babysitters home. After I told him that my babysitter would be unable to watch the children after 8 pm and that I absolutely could not work the hours he was trying to have me work, he tried to intimidate me by threatening to take my equipment if I could not handle the work. To which I responded, that is fine, I will not allow you to make me choose between my children and my job. It will always be my children. Working for this company was good and bad. The work was simple and I wholeheartedly believe that ADT security systems save lives. But Safe Haven itself, at least the branch I worked for, was horrid to work for. They did not have our best interests at heart. All they cared about was numbers.
Let me start off by saying i wish i would have read reviews before we signed up!
Let me start off by saying i wish i would have read reviews before we signed up! Safe Haven is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Worst part about it they don't care AT ALL! We had our service installed on March 14th ,as of the 18th our camera was not working. We were told by the installer that if we wanted to cancel our service it would be $150.and that if we had to call a tech out it would cost us everytime.so we started calling on the 18th they said they emailed us with instructions how to fix camera, never received it. Finally we speak to someone who walked us through it. At that point I asked to cancel it had been 4 days. So in the last two months we have not had a working camera and our doorbell camera said it reached its limit of 100 videos so we have not had a working doorbell since April 11th it won't save anymore videos. I called again to speak to someone I spoke with *** and he wouldn't do anything but talk over me and suggest they send someone out . I told him we will pay the $150 to cancel and he said absolutely not it is 75% of contract fee which is $1500. That had to be paid to cancel . We spike with him on the 20th 6 days after signing up . Since then I called numerous times trying to speak to a manager finally I speak with *** who also talked over me didn't listen to a word I said repeatedly told me you signed a contract it is what it is. Told me I should have read it better. Said I'm lying about the$150 cancelation fee. Won't check with the tech who installed. Made me feel small as a woman just kept saying we will have someone come out and check it for you. All in all *** said he spoke with his supervisor *** and she felt the same way. They were not interested in helping just getting our money. I told them they needed to honor the $150 cancelation they still make money and they get their equipment back.. Basically they would not ask the tech and shut me out. Don't go with this company you will be unhappy.

If I could put no stars I would
If I could put no stars I would. ADT Safe Haven are a bunch of scam artists and crooks. If I could get rid of this I would. But unfortunately they cut me out of my grace *** My system did not work day one. Of course immediately called and had continued to call. Did get a ticket put in however it was for technical support (a phone call) unfortunately I was I available (work). As soon as I was able to I called back (same day) and again absolutely nothing but an automatic voicemail where I left my message. Didnt get a call until 4 days later where again I couldnt answer the call(work). Called back (same day) to an automatic voicemail where I left another message. Mind you I had left multiple messages from day 1 until today. I called every day. 7 days later still no help because unfortunately the two calls they made in a 7 day period l was working. I called all the Safe Haven numbers that were provided to me. Today was the first day I was able to get in contact with an actual person. The person I spoke to said they never received any voicemails which makes me question this place and their integrity and reliability. This is my security company after all. I left multiple voicemails. Because I had been calling to cancel but of course they have no records of it or no one was available so of course thats how they get you. I had called ADT who by the way cannot do anything to help you and knows absolutely nothing about anything (weird) just apparently takes your money. I guess Safe Haven is who we have to go through. However they are constantly unavailable. I called multiple Safe Haven numbers that were given to me and again either whoever I tried to speak to was unavailable or no one had any clue what I was talking about. I was either hung up on or given a different number to call. Finally today I was given a number where someone answered. Again unfortunate conversation. I asked the lady where I can write a review she said *** it. That there said a lot. Stay away.
Please take 5 minutes to read
Please take 5 minutes to read. It will blow your mind. And save you countless days and nights worrying about your house and family. WHAT A JOKE ! IF YOU READ THIS AND STILL BUY FROM SAFE HAVEN AND ADT. YOU DIDN'T READ THIS AND YOU'RE GOING TO HATE THAT YOU DIDN'T. BUT THAT'S YOUR FAULT MEANS WHO HAS A PERSON WHO INSTALLS YOUR SYSTEM TELLS THE PERSON WHO IS *** OFF FOR MONTHS NOW THAT YOUR SYSTEM HAS NOT WORKED FOR MONTHS NOW CAUSE THE GREEN LIGHT ON THE CAMERA IS FLASHING RED. THIS MEANS AND TELLS EVERY ROBBER DRIVING BY THAT YOUR SECURITY IS COMPLETELY DOWN. WHAT COMPANY DOES THIS. WHAT EMPLOYEE TELLS PEOPLE THIS. THAT YOUR SYSTEM HAS NOT WORKED AND WILL NOT WORK WHEN FLASHING RED. WHY NOT JUST TELL THE ROBBER YOUR HOUSE IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS. ADT is a con artist company. Safe haven is just the people who go out and sell the junk that ADT pushes them to sell. ADT is not a security company. It's a front name to sell a product that does not work at all. The people after you have made the biggest mistake of your life are the people who installed the system which for me it was SAFE HAVEN. Worst mistake of my life. You do not have to read this and Waste your money and time. SAFE HAVEN installs cameras and the Ring doorbell and sensors all around. They will install it all and it will be working but month after month they will need to Come out to find out nothing is working again and again and again. After 50 phone calls and 50 voice mails, you will still not have service back ever.1. ADT is not a security company just the bank that takes your money and lies to you. Don't believe me then buy this service. You will hate that you didn't listen to me. 2. Safe Haven is a bunch of con artists and lies. People like *** will tell you she will take care of you and make sure you have the service you need. Trust me you think you have been played and lied to before. Wait till she does it. 3. The installation will work for 2-3 weeks. Then it will stop working. Yo
The WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD!
The WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD! safe haven goes around in circles to try and keep you annoyed and fed up with them so that they dont have to help you. Their customer service is awful! I took of work for them. No show. I tried to schedule appointments with their technicians, no call back. They call me when Im at work and Ive told them the best times to call and the even ask for it. They only call you when its convenient for their manager to get back to you. They only have two levels. The customer service, and the ONE manager who cant help you. She has to call you back on HER time. Terribly organized for their customers. They have run me around in circles for almost 3 months. Their manager had a horrible attitude. She interrupted me when I was speaking. Speaking over me. Thats unforgivable in their work. She didnt help one bit. My mother was talking the phone call for me because I had to watch my 8 month old daughter. She absolutely REFUSED to talk to her. And I had to stop taking care of my baby because she forced me to talk to her instead. Customer service is awful. The wait time is 45 minutes long or more almost every single time. Do NOT get into a contract with this horrible company. They will tear you down until you are tired of fighting them on it. The have one branch. One manager. Their design in their entire company isnt for the convenience of their customers, its for the convienance for themselves. They do not care about you or your concerns. It sounds like everyone there hates their jobs, they dont like what they do. They do not appreciate the customers. I PROMISE YOU, if you sign with them and have an issue like I did. Which u will. They will run circles around you not taking any accountability for how horribly they treat you. They didnt even keep up their part of the contract. I have no doorbell working, and I dont have my outdoor camera. I dont want them to fix it anymore I want them to cancel my contract free of charge. It took them 2 months to be concerned about what they missed. They havent kept their side of the deal, so why am I stuck to mine. Its terrible. Terrible. Gotcha business. Do not use this lousy company and their customer service who all hates their jobs.
I just moved into my new home after years of saving (first time homebuyer), and I didn't even have a chance to get all of my boxes unpacked
I just moved into my new home after years of saving (first time homebuyer), and I didn't even have a chance to get all of my boxes unpacked before a rep for "ADT" knocked on my door. Now I was fine with that because prior to my move into my house, I was in an apartment that I had with ADT. So the rep explained to me that I would get the "Homebuyers Program" where it covers your entire downstairs and basement (windows, doors with cameras) and they would cancel my other contract with the apartment since I upgraded. Well that was a lie, I still owe my apartment *** because its all ADT but different areas. (how stupid) Now I have been with ADT for over 5-6 years and have notice over the years their equipment is not quality and they want a lot of money up front. So I asked the rep about all of this and of course he is like "no everything is included with points, you don't have to pay for anything besides your first month *** and a $100 fee for installation". I am like "are you absolutely sure, I don't like surprises!" He said "Of course!" The next day, tech comes out and after they put a hole in your wall for the panel (got an extra star for the panel bc it is nice), here comes the paperwork. I look at the contract and now I owe $1300! So I look at the tech and ask was he paying this because this is not what I was told. He said, well you was told the basic that was not protecting your house and even that only took off a couple hundred dollars. I was like so what about that rep, call him because he lied to me! The tech was like, he not from his district area and he must be new, etc. I was sooo ***. The tech had no compassion, didn't care, just wanted the sell. Crazy part, I wanted the protection for my family and its cost me my savings for them. I paid but I will never, ever recommend fake ADT again. How dare they jeopardize & scam me to get rich and not protect my family. How do I even know the shock sensors work, the tech never tested them and they cost the most money. The camera freezes and most of the time won't load up on my phone or panel fast enough to see who at the door, so how is this protecting my family. ADT are money hungry monsters who sleep well at night when I pay them to do that...smh
My wife and I just moved into a new home in a nice suburban area north of ***
My wife and I just moved into a new home in a nice suburban area north of ***. Just days after moving in a sales rep with Safe Haven Security knocked on our day and informed me that I was due for a home security upgrade and the products and installation would be provided free of charge. I remember him pointing at our *** security sign we had in our front yard and confirming if we are still using them. He asked if it would be possible to inspect my current security system and discuss next steps for upgrading. I foolishly said okay and allowed him to enter my home. He then proceeded to ask where all the points of entry were and current alarm sensors are located. Upon allowing him to inspect the home, he attempted to initiate small asking me where Im from and how long Ive lived at the home. He then informed me that the current system is out of date and no longer reliable and he then proceeded to pull his notebook out which detailed the products and services they can offer on behalf of ADT. He then proceeded to ask me for personal information, including name, contact info, date of birth, occupation and even social security number and informed me that the new system could be installed free of charge but there would be a monthly fee of $60. At this point I became very suspicious and informed him that I just moved in and would need time to inspect our current security system before making any decisions. He then said thats fine but if you wait much longer you will miss out on our free system upgrade. He proceeded to push for a time to meet again at which point I told him Ill let you know, thanks for stopping by. I fortunately came to my senses before making a big mistake but not before they stole some personal information from me. Its scary how convincing these imposters can be. Upon researching this company, I discovered several negative reviews/complaints filed by others who fell victim or nearly did to this companys deceptive high-pressure sales practices. Apparently, if you make the mistake of signing up with them you are trapped into a multi-year contract that can be very costly to break. As the old saying goes if something sounds too good to be true, it is. Never sign anything without first taking the time to research both what youre signing up for and whom youre signing up with (without the salesman/potential scammer present of course).
I moved into a new home built by a well known company this is our 1st time buying a house
I moved into a new home built by a well known company this is our 1st time buying a house. This is supposed to be a exciting time. But it has been issue after issue with this dealer for *** called Safe Haven security. The installation guy failed to install our backyard camera as company policy requires, instead he mounted the camera and strewed the cable to the stucco on the outside of the house leaving the cable exposed to easily get cut which would make the camera useless. The camera was plugged into a socket that could easily be unplugged by anyone. Besides that the camera never recorded and motion after installation. Had someone tried to break into the house the camera wouldnt have recorded anything. I reported my issue about 1 1/2 week after installation and they scheduled a service appointment for the same guy that installed my equipment to fix the issue but he didnt know what to do. He called a friend he stated would know how to get the camera working as it should this guy knows everything he use to work for us he lives in ***. We troubleshoot the system and it appeared to work but hours later I had the same issues. The original installer told me to do my own research and figure out how to work the system instead of providing the customer service I deserve. So I called again and they sent another guy out he took pictures of the camera installation and posted it on what appears to be a group message chat with coworkers, Im standing a there and I asked him what are you grinning about and he replied guys are committing about how the camera was installed with *** very unprofessional. He didnt take the camera off and install it properly instead he attempted to get it to record as it should which again it appeared to be working after troubleshooting and tested. But later it was not detecting motion nor recording. I than called to cancel service I dont feel that my property nor my family is getting the protection the service is supposed to provide. Ive been told now that 3 days has passed since installation that I am now in a contact for 2 years and that I will be charged over a $1000 for early cancellation fees. I have only had the service for a month and as I mentioned it was never installed right according to one of the managers I spoke to the way the technician installed your system is not our policy nor has it ever worked as it should have providing the service that I expected. Beware of this company they are not honest people, no one ever mentioned to use that we would be agreeing to a contract. Now that we want to cancel no one in management will return my calls and Ive been calling for a couple weeks now and the customer service representatives always say that the manager is not available and she will contact you in 24-48 hours. THEY NEVER CALL. I do not recommend Safe Haven.
This is a detailed account of how my experience was with this company
This is a detailed account of how my experience was with this company. The salesman told us that the alarm system does not rely on internet (which they do) which we specifically asked about. There was more than one person speaking to the salesperson so I know I did not misunderstand. We were nice and decided to give it a try once the person came to install the cameras. I would not give these cameras a chance after what happened this week:A man walked up my driveway with tools. The cameras recorded him walking up my driveway and then as soon as he took his tools out and approached my home the recording stopped. END OF RECORDING. I'll never know what that mad did. The way the system really works is it records clips 30 seconds long but there is a 1 minute gap between the recordings regardless of whether or not there is motion. When we were sold this product, we were told that it records once it is triggered by motion and once the clip ends, if there is still motion it signals another clip. That is not the case. If someone is breaking your window down, in 30 seconds there is no more footage. End of story. The salesman said that the system will record clips and we don't have to worry about not having storage because it will delete old clips to make space for new clips. What he didn't say is that it will only record *** clips a month *** Thats sounds like a lot but every time you open your door, that is actually one clip. if you host one family gathering and you have four cameras then you have used up your clips.I just got off the phone with ***, the customer service representative from ***. She said the contract specifies that nothing the salesman says before or after the contract was signed applies. Also the contract does not specify the capabilities of the camera. So I specified with her clearly over and over again as I recorded the conversation, does that mean the salesman can say anything they want and the contract can be vague and safe haven doesn't have to do anything about it, and she said yes. She also said that safehaven does not sell closed circuit cameras. So if that's what you want, they may describe the system as working similarly but it does not. You will also have to work with three different companies. Safe haven who sells the equipment, ADT which is the alarm company, and Alarm.com who manages the data. It seems like it may be better to work with one company or just get a closed circuit system. FYI the door sensors also keep falling off and the smoke detector went off when no one was cooking and did in fact call the fire department. I waited a very long time for customer service but I was willing to wait if something could be done. But my response back was more like too bad now you're under contract and we don't have to do anything about it. So if that is the kind of company you would like to contract with, this is how they work. Now I am going to the Complaintsboard.com to alert others. There's nothing wrong with this system if this is what you want. My issues is that we were sold something different and if this company can abuse their customers with their contract I have to right to tell everyone about it.
So this all starts with a guy I played soccer with
So this all starts with a guy I played soccer with. I was starting to look at security systems for my home and was looking at SimpliSafe. I had heard bad things about a lot of security companies and so I planned to avoid them. Turns out, this guy I knew works for Safe Haven Security and mentioned that he could get us a deal on a system. I was a bit hesitant but I considered him a friend at the time and decided to trust him. He got us a pretty large discount on the equipment, only paying about half of what most customers would pay and got us setup with a technician and everything. The technicians we worked with were always professional but also friendly and I never had any issues with them. I expressed concern about the contract and everything especially because we would likely move in the next 1-3 years, but my "friend" and the technicians assured us that we could transfer the system to a new location if we wanted to...however this only turned out to be partially true. The system worked relatively well other than the occasional alarm going off while cooking or while messing with the blinds while the system was armed. However, things quickly went south when we decided to sell our house and move. The first thing we found out is that if we terminate the contract we have to pay something like 75% of the rest of the monthly payments for the contract term. Since it had only been about a year, that comes out to a whopping $1250, but I figured we would just move the system to our apartment. At this point, we found out that since we are renting, we can't install our home system into a new apartment, but we'd have to switch to another hardware company in order to have a system there. When we contacted that other company, they essentially told us that it wouldn't be worth it to put a system in a unit like the one we rented so we're essentially stuck. The alternative was to leave the system in the existing house, and the new owners would have to sign a new 36 month contract in order for our contract to get waived. As of writing this review, we haven't sold the house so I'm not sure how this will work out, but I'm not too optimistic. Mind you, if we end up terminating the contract we also lose out on the $1200 give or take that we spent on equipment so when all is said and done, we'll have spent $3,290 on a security system that we could only use for one year if you include the $69.99 per month we spent over the course of the last year in addition to the termination fees and the equipment costs. Don't worry, it gets worse. So, when we moved out of the house, we cut the power using the breaker box so we weren't wasting money on the power bill until the contractors showed up to do work on the house before we put it on the market. The painters and cleaners came, turned the power back on, did their work, and left the power on so that when it was shown to potential buyers, they could see that the A/C was working etc. A few days later, our realtor stops by and basically says that the security system is completely shut off and not working. That weekend I show up and the screen is black, there appears to be no power being supplied, nothing. I plug the mobile panel back in and it can't establish a connection to the main panel. It also seemed to imply that it needed a wi-fi connection of some kind in order to connect, but I can't be 100% certain since I couldn't get the main panel back on. So based upon that info, I figured that all a robber would need to do is shut off the breaker and/or the wi-fi in order to completely disarm the system. When the realtor let us know that the system wasn't working, my wife tried to call several times over the course of the week in order to get a technician out there to take a look. They just reached out today to let us know that since our year long warranty expired that it would cost $25 to send a technician out, then $30 for every 15 MINUTES that the technician was there. That's $120 per hour, which if you were to pay a contractor that salary for a year (I know a technician doesn't get all of that money), that comes out to $249,600 per year. Which is absolutely an insane amount for someone to come fix a panel. Bottom line, never go with this company, no matter who tells you otherwise. It's going to cost you more money than it can ever save you.

Smoke detector malfunction
Since August this year, the smoke detectors seem to short circuit and start to chirp. It starts with one smoke detector and over the course of a week, the whole system starts to malfunction. We have had several technicians to our home and they seem to be able to fix the system for a little while by replacing the smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detector...

Where to begin with this scam of a company?! For starters, the ADT system that I have is pure trash and Safe Havens customer service reps have the intelligence of angry dogs! To make matters worse when you call they refuse to escalate your issues, resulting in you never being able to speak with a manager! The only options you ever have are to disconnect the...

We just move to Pensacola FL. We had a concierge service assist us with the move. Safe Haven rep showed up at our door authorized by us or our hoa. Tricked my wife into a system install as she was thinking this was the free adt system we were suppose to get from our concierge service but it was not. She ended up paying 1421.15. I have called several times to cancel the service and get a refund to no avail.
Do not be trick by this company.
Safe Haven Security LLC. Stay clear of them. They will do a poor job of the install and trick you into paying for a free system.
Please, please, please avoid this company at all cost.

Home security
I just bought my house two months ago and I was contacted by this company. They sold me this great story about how good this company was. I gave them them a chance and it's been a headache. The system was installed all wrong and the tech didn't have a clue what he was doing. He told my wife and I he wasn't good at installing. We didn't have service for that month but I still got charged. They sent a different tech out but he was knowledgeable and did the best he could. I even got new internet to make sure it wasn't that but still the system not working. It's been two and a half months and I haven't been able to use it but I'm still getting charged.
Desired outcome: I asked for credit but they said I didn't qualify. I was confused on that because I haven't used the service. I was told they would add extra things to my system but when it came down to it no one knew about it.

A few days after buying a new home, a Safe Haven rep (claiming to work for ADT) came to show us their offers as the house was previously serviced by ADT. The rep asked what type of service I was looking for. I told him I am really into home automation and smart homes. He presented the $45.99 plan which would have the smart features and the sensors. The other plan would be to add the video doorbell and cameras which would total $65.99. I ended up going with the $65.99 plan. On 11/5/22, the tech came to do the install. It wasn't until after having installed the panel that the technician sent the contract. That's when I noticed Safe Haven at the top of the contract, not ADT. I called the rep and asked why it stated Safe Haven and questioned his employment with ADT. He responded that he works for ADT and it was ADT service, however, the contract is sold through Safe Haven. Upon use of the security cameras, I was displeased with the video quality so I informed the rep that we wanted to remove the cameras and just keep the sensors. The rep replied and said it would be done but the tech never came. After several weeks of trying to work with the rep to have someone come, as he failed to return messages, I reached out to their support line and they sent someone out to remove the cameras and doorbell. The issues started here. Our doorbell no longer works (stopped working after install). Another a week later, I lost the ability to use the ADT app to control the system. I called support and was told it was a technical issue and that tech support would reach out to resolve it as we should have access via the app. As I was asking about the doorbell, the line was cut. I called back and I was told that the last rep was mistaken and that we would not have access to the app. We were misinformed by the rep who sold us the service and the customer service rep. Had we been informed that the app/remote app would be removed, I would have requested that the service be outright canceled.
there was a sales person name by *** visited my home several times encouraging me to take the security service for my new home. ignoring him plenty of time he said i will give you free installation and free equipment and the monthly bill will be 63$ a month that's all i have to pay and i can stop the service whenever i like to. so a guy comes to install the equipment in my house and i already mentioned the guy don't put anything additional as your representative have told me only such and such things are free and he said yes sir i got you. but after few day later when i opened my synchrony bank account to pay my furniture bill i saw there was new account showing by name of home service and i owed them 1924.29$ after talking to synchrony bank representative i came to know it was SAFE HAVEN SECURITY SERVICES INC who had charged me. surprisingly i was astonished how come they open account on my name without my knowledge after contact the company they told me i purchased additional equipment { which i never did } and i explained them i had not purchased anything these is all without my knowledge. i asked them if i had purchased why the card has been mailed to different address they have no answer they keep saying me you have to pay that amount. i also told them i no more want your service they made a whole contract which was not signed by me and presented me saying you have sign the contract for 36 months which is clear scam. to terminate the service they are making me charge 1582$ giving me 25% discount i dont understand how come i pay someone which i had not signed and purchased anything its clear scam on my name the company instead of taking action against there employee to create fake signature these people are trying to force me to use there service and pay for what i am not supposed to pay please do help me i am sticked in these situation and i am afraid they will mess up my credit. kindly help me
I called on November 14th to notify I was moving to a new location. They changed my plan to ADT blue but they never closed my previous account and it still shows as active and they are still charging. I was not able to see any cameras o received notifications after November 15th from my previous address. Ever since I have been calling and no one has been able to help me to actually resolve the issue of my account as it still shows active, bring the billing statement to the correct amount (the amount of $68 dollars was provided by last agent I spoke to) Until this day they haven't been able to resolve my issue and every time I call they say that the account is still active but in 24hrs I should receive and email with the adjusted balance from billing. I received a called yesterday from *** requesting $207 that i was due (so account is still active and they keep on charging months without adjusting). Im paying my monthly fee for ADT blue in the new location, but my previous address is still showing active and as I was told on the phone several times billing will need to be adjusted to reflect account deactivation as of November 14th. I called last week on January 4th and the issue has not been resolved yet.
I have been paying $71/month for a service I have not received. My cameras stopped working June and when I would call into ADT they would assure me someone would come out within 24 hours to fix the issue. No one came. I now would like to terminate this service and I am being told by safe haven that I can not cancel due to a penalty in contract. I have told them I will need my $71 that I have been paying for since June refunded back to me for services that have not been provided. They said this is not possible.
On Dec 29th ***, Branch Mgr of Spring Hill, FL branch, appeared at my home door. Said he was with Safe Haven Security. I assumed he was a partner of *** because they had already called me. He sold me a security system for 36 months at $45.99. Next day *** showed up from ADT to install on Dec 30th. Over the weekend, I realized I really couldn't afford this system. I called on Monday (2nd day of 3 business day cancellation policy they have) and spoke to ***, only number THEY provided me with then. He said, "No problem ***. We will take care of it." I said, "What about a form I have to fill out?" He said, "I will take care of the cancellation for you and let them know to come pick up equipment." I told him it was just too much for 3 years! I heard from no one over next 2 days. Called *** again. He said, "No one called? I will reach out to them again." After not hearing another day, I called *** again. Apologized for calling so much but wanted to ensure it was cancelled since I only had 3 days to do so. He again said he would have someone call me about picking up equipment. After a week, I started to feel uneasy and angry. I called him again. He wouldn't answer. Went straight to voicemail. Then I knew (after being in business all these years myself) that he was avoiding me. Probably wants to collect commission and could not if he helped me. He had told me, "I will be there for anything, don't worry." I then contacted *** in Missouri. They said it was not their rep that I was working with which really shocked me. I thought he was connected to them. They called *** a "doorknocker". So they can't help me. I have no one to turn to and have to pay for a service I WILL NOT USE! Do not use Safe Haven Securities! I have included a photo of ***!

A solicitor for Safe Haven Security, *** ("Relocation Manager with ***", Employee ID #***) came to my door with no mask on trying to sell me *** security. I denied but he kept pushing, saying he could give me a deal for a free set of equipment, trial of the *** monitoring service, and cancel the trial within 3 days and keep the equipment. I eventually agreed after that notion. He also said he would waive the installation fee of about $99. I found it odd that the contract I signed agreed for me to pay the $99 but he waved away my concerns, saying that it would be free. I also found it odd that the contract said I would have to return the equipment, but he said that since it was free for the promotion, I would not have to return it. I agreed, signed because he pressured me that the promotion would only be for now, and I told him I would sleep on it. He gave me his business cell phone number (***) and I texted him the next day that I didn't want the installation anymore and would like to cancel my contract, as I would be away for Thanksgiving and would not be able to uninstall in the 3 day period. Again he pressured me and assured me by saying "If you want... let the installer put everything in (so the equipment is there)... and then I'll cancel the account after install. You just wont pay for monitoring". After my equipment was installed, I tried to cancel next day and they told me to schedule the uninstall. I didn't want that hassle which is what I explained to Mr. in the first place. I called customer service, who put me through to his manager ***. He returned my call once and has not answered since, even during business hours. The customer service keeps harassing me for uninstall. They should honor their word and let me keep the equipment. I don't even use it and they can take it and give me a full refund for the other equipment I "purchased", but I want my file/personal info deleted. It's a "security" co that acts fraudulent.
Our family obtained ADT security system through Safe Haven Security in October. We discovered ADT security was monitoring the wrong home for over one year. We notified Safe haven who reached out to ADT and dispute the matter, confirming the wrong address was being monitored. The resolution was to Safe Haven is to reimburse our family and ADT to cancel account. Safe Haven have not refunded my family the $750 owed. ADT did cancel the account, suspending the automatic withdrawal of monthly payment and waived cancellation fee of $1033.15. However, ADT continues to send monthly monitoring report to date, despite closed account.

In July 2022 we purchased a home security system from ADT. ADT contracts with a third party company, Safe Haven. we have a smoke alarm that is defective. After 2 false alarms by this piece of equipment, we requested a new detector. The detector is showing a yellow and red code. It requires replacement. Safe Haven states that our contract requires a technician for installment after 90 days. I requested the item be sent to me. I can install it. This is a 3 second job to put it on the ceiling. I can program it myself. Safe Haven wants to charge me 60.00 for a service fee to have their technician to install. The equipment is still under warrantee. They refused to wave the fee , or send me the detector. They refuse to let me talk to a manager. Safe Haven refuses to stand behind their warranty. This is all about collecting 60.00 for a service call I don't need.

On September 14, 2022 we were approached, unsolicited, by a Safe Haven sales rep, ***. He offered us a discount for signing up with him that day, with the pressure that if we did not sign that day, we would lose the opportunity for that discount. He stated, "I am GPS tracked, so they know as soon as I leave here, and I will not be able to offer this discount again." He told us "This is a monthly subscription. You can cancel or pause payments if needed." It was only for that reason that we agreed to sign up with him, understanding that we could try the service out, and if it wasn't needed, we could cancel the subscription. He also only offered us one service option, $55.99/month, which I have since learned was the more expensive option. No other options were presented to us. He affirmed that we would receive a discount on our Homeowners Insurance as a result of having ***. This was a big selling item for us, as it would help offset the $55.99/month cost. I have since learned that the contract we signed was a 36 month contract with no opportunity to pause/cancel payments. Our Homeowners Insurance company also stated the only discount they can offer $10 per YEAR. So now we are spending $55.99/month to save LESS than $1 per month. We have had this service for less than a month and found that it does not work with our lifestyle. We are now locked into $55.99/month for a service that we are not using. We have contacted Safe Haven now twice asking that they abide by what their sales representative presented to us, that we could cancel or pause this subscription as needed. If that were not possible, I also asked that we be downgraded to the cheaper plan, that the sales representative failed to present to us. The company has refused to abide by the promises of their salesman and have made no efforts to resolve this issue. We are extremely disappointed with the misleading statements made by their salesman and their failure to abide by his promises.
My security System was installed by Safe Haven security and the service provider is ADT. From Day 1 it never worked properly which I communicated to ADT, It wasnt until months later I was told I was supposed to call Safe Haven not ADT to resolve my issues. After finally get in touch with someone it functioned ok but had I had known I needed to put more money into my system for it to work I wouldn't have gotten one. Then our area suffered 2 hurricanes back-to-back. My husband was out of work and I contacted all our current monthly subscriptions to arrange to be set up on a payment plan to make the account current and get on track. ADT pushed us back to save haven and vis versa for months with no resolution. Hours of phone calls and finally the account was canceled. Now it's being sent to a debt collector, and this is WRONG! As a consumer I did all on my end to resolve this issue and their poor business structure and customer service did not allow for me to resolve my account. I'm not paying the cancellation fee for a service that barely worked. I'm also not paying when it was never my intention to cancel. All I wanted to do was set up an arrangement for the back payments and continue to pay the monthly subscription. No one now at Safe Have or ADT will now speak to me and the Debt Collector will only accept the money owed which I will not pay. This is not the way these companies should be treating a customer it is truly disgusting! If you need phone records, I can provide this to show phone calls were made, Not sure if you need them?
I had an ADT system installed by safe haven a coupl3 of weeks after I moved into my new house. The technician came out and installed the system. Every since it's been installed something has gone wrong.they have been out to my house on numerous occasions and the front door bell still doesn't work. Now I'm told I past the 90 days and they want me to pay $59 for something that by there own records they have been out fix on numerous occasions. They also want to charge me over $1,000 to cancel. The door bell camera doesn't work anymore. I don't think I should have to pay for something that never full worked.
ADT and Safe Haven totally took advantage of not being honest about monthly payments. They are lying to customers about a monthly bill which is incredibly dangerous for people.

I had cancelled my *** and internet to save money because we have no income and when I called *** internet to see about getting their cheap $32 internet they told me about the security cameras. I had been thinking about getting cameras outside because someone had got in my car at night awhile back so I agreed to it thinking I could afford it since I cancelled the tv and internet. The appointment was set and Safe Haven installed them o Dec. 15th. The problem I have is he didnt tell me until after they were installed that I had to have high speed internet (he just assumed that I did) to run these cameras at additional cost of $80 a month. So I called them and told them and they removed that but it only lowered the bill by a small amount so I called them back I told them all I wanted was cameras and Im not paying 55 a month for all this other stuff in my house I told him 3 times I did not want or need but he said it wasnt extra obviously it is? He took my payment info and had me sign on a tablet and I said theres no contract right? And he said yes 3 years! I would have never signed for 3 years having no income with the uncertainty of what the next few years could bring! I cant run up the steps in 2 min to activate and deactivate this every time a door opens. I need surgery on both knees and my hip and avoid the steps as much as possible! So I have no use for this and it is unplugged and has never been activated I dont even know how to activate it. Everything should have been disclosed to me before installation and was not. All they had to say is you have to have high speed internet and I would of said I cant do it. They started billing me the very next day for something I could not use so now I have blocked the payments and now they are threatening collections that will ruin my excellent credit because of their mistakes! I did as they ask called *** said call Safe Haven did that got nowhere back and forth they said to cancel I have to pay 75% of contract.
I notified ADT June 2022 of the upcoming construction project on my home and asked what I needed to do about the security sensors on the siding and windows that would be affected.. they responded to save to sensors and contact them when construction was completed.. Sept 2022 I notified ADT and left voicemails and email messages. After months of no response - Only just today did Safe Haven contact me asking for $80+ to schedule a technician to come to house to reinstall. Well this sounds like bait and switch/scam! So I asked to cancel my services and no need to come and reinstall. They said I owe $1300+ to cancel. This is not as the sales technician had described to be. Buyer beware.
I purchased a security with ADT but through Safe Haven, their local provider. The technician came to my house on 10/27/22 to install the system. During the install the technician hit a wire and knocked out the power to my living room and part of my kitchen. The tech said his boss needed 3 quotes sent to him and that they would get it fixed. i provided 3 quotes from local electricians the very next day. However i received zero updates. I called into customer service about a week later and they said that the work order had not been started yet and they were doing that now. A week went by and still nothing. I called into customer service again and they assured me they were creating the work order. A few days later the regional tech manager called me and asked for the quotes again. I sent them over and did not receive any response. The next week I got a text from the technician asking me to take pictures of the damage. This should have been done by him at the time. but I did this and sent them anyway in order to keep this process moving. That was on 11/12/22. I have had zero updates since then and my power is still out. The power issue is effecting the security system and I'm unable to use it. I'm stuck in this contract, paying for a service that I can't use. Plus they knocked out my power and I've had to live likes this for over a month now. Thanksgiving was great without power! not only do they have to fix my power, but the electrician is going to have to rip out dry wall to get to the wires. They will need to pay for that too but I don't see them doing that because they can't even get my power fixed. There has to be something I can do. Some kind of recourse. I can't even enjoy the new home I just purchased because I don't have power to all of my house.
We bought a house back in November last year 2021
We bought a house back in November last year 2021. I called *** to apply for internet service. Immediately, the representative that answered my call started talking about home security ***. She kept going on and on about a big promotion *** is having and kept talking about the details. Since we were also going to need home security, I was very interested about the promotion. She stated that if we sign up that day, there is a $750 credit from *** that we can use for equipments for the home security. We decided to sign up and it is a 3 year contract with auto debit from our account. The representative set up an appointment with a technician to come to our house to install and get the services running. The technician named *** explained and went through all the details and equipments needed. He then gave us a breakdown and after the credit of $750, there is a balance of $845.83. He said I van apply for a credit loan through *** to pay for the balance. He did the application and it was approved. The problem is not all the equipments needed was installed. *** had to order the doorbell panel, 2 cameras and digital front door luck. About 3 weeks later, we finally got another technician to come to install the cameras and front door luck but still no front doorbell panel. The technician could not get the cameras working and has something to do with the internet signal with *** but we have the fastest available speed in our area. 2 months passed and still no doorbell panel and cameras not working so I called Safe Haven to just cancel the doorbell and cameras and just refund the money. I called their customer service and talked to *** 3x and I was promised to refund to the credit card *** that they opened. They never applied the $750 credit that was promised as a promotion by ***. I was charged for all the equipments installed and was charged to *** with no $750 credit. Bogus promotion by *** and Safe Haven. Horrible business to mislead customers.
In May 2022 I got into an agreement with Save Haven security services to install a security system in my home, monitored by ADT
In May 2022 I got into an agreement with Save Haven security services to install a security system in my home, monitored by ADT. First off, the whole time the field sales person was here he never ONCE mentioned he's working for Safe Haven, or have any flyers for safe haven, the whole time they pretended to be with ADT, which was my understanding up until the end. Even when signing the contract (which was with safe haven, not ADT) the sales rep told me the reason it says safe haven on the contract is because safe haven will do the installation and that's it. He misrepresented himself and now I'm stuck in a contract with a company that has nothing to offer - subpar equipment that is malfunctioning, subpar customer service, AND they want to charge for all diagnostics, even though the equipment they stuck me with IS NOT working as they promised. When the sales person described what the system can/cannot do, he told me the system motion sensors will have NO ISSUE whatsoever with our small pets (as it should, I had used other security services before, never once did the pets set off the motion sensors), however, since we got the equipment and service this company tricked me into, I can't use the alarm system when leaving the house because the motion will be activated by my cats. Now they tell me "a spider" can set it off. I called them about it numerous times and they refuse to acknowledge this is a HUGE problem and they lied about what their equipment can/cannot do when they sold it to me. Also, when talking with safe haven agents, they claim to be completely removed from ADT (post haste) and claim ADT agents have no idea what they're talking about when they direct me to safe haven for assistance with the equipment. So here's an "authorized ADT dealer" that will tell you ADT got nothing on them after they duped you into signing a contract with them. I called ADT for assistance and their hands are tied, they tell me I need to work with "safe" haven. Beware of safe haven!
I signed up for *** Security Services, sold by Safe Haven Security Services in September with the purchase of a new *** home
I signed up for *** Security Services, sold by Safe Haven Security Services in September with the purchase of a new *** home. I paid approximately $213 for the equipment and, signed a contract for 36 months, paying $59.77 a month. Since the installment, the panel and security system has never fully worked properly. For example, when someone rings the bell, I get a notification and click on that to open the app to view the camera. It takes too long to load the content or says there's an issue with the camera. Other examples include not getting motion notifications at either all and sensors being removed from the panel and thus not tripping the alarm. I have had to make several calls to *** throughout the 10 months I have had this system. The panel has been replaced, sensors switched out and technicians have instructed me on ways to fix the issues multiple times. Some successful, some not. Most recently, one of the sensors has been deleted from the system once again and I am unable to readd it. I called *** and was on hold for 15 mins, transferred to Safe Haven twice and was on hold for an additional 45 mins when I was hung up on. I left a voicemail, sent two requests and two emails only to get a generic copy and pasted response. A representative called me back a day and a half later, but I was busy at work. I called the number back and was sent right to voicemail where I left another message and have not heard back. I emailed *** customer service to try and cancel the service I am not being provided and was informed I needed to call the account management department. I called and was told I would have to pay over $1000 to get out of the contract and the representative tried to get ahold of Safe Haven and was unsuccessful. She did get ahold of them the next day, but I was told I needed to be transferred again as they couldn't help me. I want out of this contract without penalties as I cannot get ahold of anyone to assist me. Please reach out for more det
On 11/30, I had agreed in good faith with Safe Haven Security to proceed with a contract for a monthly purchase of 69.95 tax included for 3
On 11/30, I had agreed in good faith with Safe Haven Security to proceed with a contract for a monthly purchase of 69.95 tax included for 3 yr. There are numerous mistakes Safe Haven Security has made since the onset of the purchase which I feel have violated my trust with them and warrant immediate cancellation. These reasons are listed below: 1) On the initial installation date, the technician who agreed to come out performed half of the installation, and said they would return again. I HAD TO CALL Safe Haven to help them come to the realization that this technician had left his job since then and Safe Haven Security would be sending in a new technician. The follow-up technician came almost a week later to complete the initial setup. 2) After the installation, on 12/8, I noticed errors in the mobile app with a sensor stating the door was bypassed when arming my system. I immediately raised this concern. A technician moved the sensor around, added some additional adhesive, and said that the it should function normally. Again, on 12/14, I sent a screenshot to the same salesperson letting him know that the issue has resurfaced. A new technician came out. Same resolution steps. Yet, as our Alarm app shows, we continued to receive the same alerts. Safe Haven said they are sorry but either a technician can come and resolve (again) or we pay 75% of the remaining balance to terminate. 3) During the installation process, I had to sign a new contract. This is because there were a few products my property could not support. I discussed with the salesperson and he agreed to adjust the rate after the technician removed these products. Today, I received an email notification stating my payment failed. When logging in, I found out my charges were not adjusted. On a call with Safe Haven, they apologized and mentioned that the new contract I signed still had the old rate on it. Furthermore, the payments charged still had the old rate for the following 2 months of billing.
Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing this letter Regarding signing a contract with *** safe haven security on 11/27 and immediately had issues
Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing this letter Regarding signing a contract with *** safe haven security on 11/27 and immediately had issues. I was within the 3 day timeframe to cancel but was given the managers office number and personal cell phone to reassure me there would be no future issues so I continued on with them. *** who installed equipment also gave me his contact info due to initial equipment problems. I don't even have a monitor in my bedroom area and can't hear the monitor placed by our garage door from our bedroom. I am a veteran who served in a combat zone With all the money I paid up front 6,399.48 seems like this should be standard since in the past with previous homes I've always had two monitors (sometimes three). Then This company charged me a year instead of the contracted monthly amount on my first payment right before Christmas then reimbursed me the money after Christmas. Every month since I have been with this company I have had to call the Manager *** to resolve issues regarding my account. Mostly online bill saying my payment is almost 100 dollars overdue when I have bank statements proving it's paid up to date. Now when I call to talk to *** my phone calls are no longer returned and my automatic deduction didn't go out on the due date-22 March . If I pay it myself I'm sure they will get even more money from me. Also my downstairs smoke alarm is no longer functioning. I really want to separate from this company without having to pay anymore fee's but at the very least would appreciate getting the service I am paying for. I see the potential now too for them messing up my credit history. obviously I am not going to get good service so I would appreciate your assistance in resolving my complaint. I would like my money refunded including All equipment costs and my contract stopped with no more fee's due on my part to this company. I look forward to hearing from you soon to resolve this issue. Please contact me if you have more questions. Thank you, ***.
On the 27 June , I had *** installed via Safe Haven Security
On the 27 June , I had *** installed via Safe Haven Security. It was the day after I closed on a new home so there was no preexisting system. I was told all equipment would be free but there would be an installation fee. Once completed, the technician explained a few things that were missing to make my home completely secured. I opted for a few upgrades. There were three charges against my debit card $319.93 for installation, $287.83 for upgrades, and $72.59 for the first month. I am not disputing the charges. On 01 July , I received a call from another security system. I told the salesman that I just signed with *** and cannot switch. He asked how long ago, and I told him. The salesman informed me that under Georgia's law, I have three days to decide if I want to keep the service. He was offering everything I had with ***, plus the upgrades for no additional cost and no installation fee. I decided the offer was good enough to warrant a phone call to ***. On 01 July , and in the presence of the salesman, I called *** and I was transferred to Safe Haven. After a long hold, I was disconnected. I called back to *** and informed the customer service agent that after a long wait I was disconnected and that today was the last day to inform Safe Haven that I did not want to keep the service. The *** customer service agent apologized and said she would wait on the line with me until the call was connected and she did. I spoke with a supervisor at Safe Haven and explained even letting her know that I was switching to another company. She offered me a 15% discount which I declined, (the other company was offering 100%). She told me that I should sign the termination form and return it by mid-night. I printed the form, signed it, and emailed it. At 12:29 AM, 03 July , I noticed an email sitting in my outbox, and I knew instantly that it was the form. I hit send and the supervisor responded saying she cannot honor the cancellation because the form was turned in late. My complaint is that the conversation where I informed her that I no longer want the service was a verbal contract and that the form was the formality. I am now paying both security systems. The other company took down *** equipment and when I first informed Safe Haven that the equipment was no longer connected, she said I would need to pay $85.00 for installment. Safe Haven technician did not complete installation because, at the time that he came out, I did not have Wi-Fi; therefore, he could not complete the installation. To that, the supervisor said that I signed saying that I accepted the installation.
My wife and I would like help with a consumer issue
My wife and I would like help with a consumer issue. In a new construction home in Santa Rosa County my wife and I had an *** Authorized Dealer, My Safe Haven, install an *** monitored security system. Due to activation issues the system was not fully functional until 10 days after installation and only then did we find out that what was promised by the My Safe Haven sales rep as the functionality of the system did, we realize it could not do what we needed and was promised and sought to have our contract cancelled. Believing it was *** who we needed to discuss cancellation with, we contacted *** who agreed with us and sent email/letters to My Safe Haven but since it was an authorized dealer for ***, we had to work with My Safe Haven based out of Kansas City Missouri. Before the installation was performed, we informed My Safe Haven that our internet was not installed yet and they said they could still do the installation and then return to get the system fully functional. A week after installation our internet was in and we had a My Safe Haven service tech come the next day only to find out that we were the service tech's first customer after training and he could not get the system working and we had to get another service tech to come out 10 days after install. Once the system was fully functional, we asked the service tech to show us how to set up the motion activation for the cameras and when he did, we realized that what the My Safe Haven Sales Agent promised the cameras could do was impossible as confirmed by the service tech. Backing up in time to when the system was installed, we did have to sign a lot of documents after the installation technician was finished to include a Notice of Cancellation document which stated we had 3 days from installation which I questioned with the installation tech who said "don't worry, you will have 3 days from when the system is fully functional" so I signed it. Believing what the installation tech told us and after the system was fully functional on 23 Mar did, we determine we wanted to cancel the contract due to the system not delivering what was promised by the Sales Rep. I contacted *** and they agreed with me and sent an email and letter to My Safe Haven on our behalf. *** suggested we send the Notice of Cancellation and gave us the email address to do so and also said we should call My Safe Haven and gave us an unpublished number to do so. We sent the Notice of cancellation on 25 Mar, 2 days after our system was fully functional and believed we abided within the guidance given us for cancellation. In several conversations with My Safe Haven, they are sticking by the cancellation policy of "3 days from installation" and didn't care that our system was not fully functional until 10 days after install. We fully believe that based on the discussion with the My Safe Haven Sales Rep that the system was what we needed so much so we purchased an additional $1,100.00 work of equipment. Thousands of homes are being built in Santa Rosa County, FL and it appears the Authorized Dealer, My Safe Haven, is getting a corner on the home security market and if the deceptive sales practices of our sales rep are any indication then there are a lot of people who are dissatisfied.
I wish I could not give a star .
