Misleading Scammy Website
You will get the certificate you need. The website will charge you money for your course. Then you find out you will be charged for a certificate.
The site will automatically charge you for some monthly subscription which you did not request. Yes this is fraud. UNAUTHORIZED charges to your credit card.
You have to call the company to get them to not charge you for things. This is ridiculous.
Recommendation: Be careful
Mixed Feelings about SafeDriver Course: Lengthy, Annoying, and Pricey
I recently took the SafeDriver course on safedriver.com and I have some mixed feelings about it. It cost me a total of $54 for the email copy of my certificate, which seems a little steep to me. The course itself was about 7 or 8 hours long, which I found to be WAY TOO LONG. It consisted of 10 timed pages, meaning you couldn't proceed until the timer was up, and they forced 10-15 minute breaks about twice throughout the course.
On top of that, there were too many annoying authenticity pop-ups that kept disrupting the flow of the course. And don't even get me started on the cheesy comedian videos that were reminiscent of something I would have watched in grade school.
Despite all of these annoyances, I will say that the course content was common sense and easy to pass. SafeDriver also gives you three chances if you struggle on a particular section, which is quite helpful.
Lastly, I do want to mention that there were a lot of nickel and dime offers for upgrades and shipping that I found to be unnecessary. My advice would be to just pay the $25 for the class and $29 for the email copy. Speaking of which, the email copy of my certificate was delivered to me within 30 minutes of completing the course, which was impressive.
Overall, I have mixed feelings about safedriver.com. While it was an okay experience, I don't think I will choose this site again in the future.
SafeDriver Defensive Driving Course Review: Hidden Fees and Unreliable Certificate Delivery
So, I took the SafeDriver course and I gotta say, it was a bit of a hassle! First off, they charge you $25.00 right off the bat for the defensive driving course. No biggie, right? Except then they hit you with the real kicker... an email certificate fee of $30.00! That's right, they won't just give you the certificate for completing the course, you gotta pay extra! And on top of that, they warn you that mailing the certificate can be unreliable, so if you really want to make sure you receive it, you gotta cough up another $14.99 for a "delivery guarantee."
Honestly, it's a pretty disgusting business practice. It feels like they're just trying to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. I mean, don't get me wrong, the course itself wasn't too bad. It was actually pretty informative and I learned a lot about defensive driving. But the whole certificate thing just left a bad taste in my mouth.
Overall, I'd say if you're looking for a defensive driving course, there are probably better options out there. Ones that don't try to nickel and dime you at every turn.
Avoid SafeDriver: A Complete Waste of Time for Court-mandated Driving Courses
Hey guys, I recently tried using SafeDriver to complete my driving course and get my certificate for court. Let me tell you, it was a complete waste of my time!
First of all, they ask you for an affidavit that you have to mail in, and it takes more than 2 days for them to receive it. And to make matters worse, you can't even complete your course until they have received it. They don't even bother telling you this when you pay your hard-earned money!
I was already on chapter 10 when they completely blocked me from continuing the test. Can you believe that? This is really frustrating because now, thanks to this terrible website, I have to end up paying the full ticket price in court, which is a whopping $175! Plus, I lost the $75 I paid on SafeDriver.com.
Overall, I would not recommend SafeDriver to anyone. They are completely unreliable and unprofessional. Save yourself the hassle and go with another website instead. This experience was truly a nightmare, and I would not want anyone else to go through the same thing.
SafeDriver Review: Unnecessary Fees and Confusing Website
The drivers ed guys at SafeDriver (safedriver.com) ain't always the most straight up dudes. They don't shoot ya straight with the dough or the process from the get-go. Ya gotta pony up the dough (on top of the $25 for the class) to get your driving record before you even start. And then once ya complete the course (which ain't too bad btw) there's another fee to get your certificate. They really oughta be more clear and upfront about all the green you gotta shell out and what order you gotta do things in.
The website ain't too hot either. Besides the actual materials, it's a bit of a confusing mess and ain't too friendly to use. They gotta fix that up. If they did, they wouldn't need to hire so many jokers to answer all the calls from peeps who're confused and ticked off. 'Honestly' and a better website would go a long way for these guys.
SafeDriver Review: A Total Ripoff - Steer Clear of This Online Driving Course
So like, this website called SafeDriver, they say the course only costs like $25 bucks, which is pretty chill, ya know? But then you sign up and they start asking for more money left and right. Like, they want $39 bucks just so you can print out your certificate. And then they want almost $5 bucks for this and $15 bucks for that, it's a total ripoff. Oh, and if you want them to mail you your certificate, they tell you that you might not even get it in time. Like what the heck man, that's some serious BS.
Plus, if you don't have a car registered in your name, they make you jump through all these hoops. You have to print out a form and get it notarized for identification purposes and then mail it to them. It's like, why do you need all this extra stuff for a driving course? It's just one headache after another, and they don't even tell you any of this before you sign up and pay for their stupid course.
Honestly, my advice would be to just avoid SafeDriver altogether. Me and my peeps just took the $25 loss and went with a different company that only charged $30 bucks for the course AND gave us an instant certificate. So yeah, stay away from SafeDriver if you don't wanna get ripped off.
Review of SafeDriver Course: Limited Resources and Marketing Pressures
I recently gave SafeDriver a go when I bought the course for my teenage child who was preparing to get his learner's permit. I found the ordering process rather straightforward. However, I must say that towards the end, there were a few marketing questions thrown at me that seemed obligatory and frustrating. The in-moment survey, soon after payment was done, felt uncomfortable as well.
To my dismay, when my teen logged in, he was presented with sample tests from far-off states like Wyoming and Missouri which were of no help at all because we needed guidance and samples for Illinois. We didn't find any valuable videos or training either which was a bit unsatisfactory. Maybe I missed something but I didn't find any clear instructions that all we would get were sample questions, to begin with. Nonetheless, I thought it might still be worthwhile provided the regulations weren't different from Illinois.
The most surprising thing I found was the web address of the course which was pointed to https://course.nationalsafetycommission.com – which wasn't what I had anticipated at all. I couldn't believe it wasn't from the SafeDriver's official URL.
Regardless of the presentation and process flaws, I can't wholeheartedly recommend SafeDriver's course for its sample questions alone. So, it would be best if anyone is looking for a comprehensive driver training program, they should look elsewhere for a better experience.
Disappointing experience with SafeDriver.com: A review
I gotta tell you guys, using SafeDriver.com is a total waste of time and money. It's like they don't care about the user experience at all! First off, the website is not very easy to navigate. Trying to find what you need is like a treasure hunt - and not a fun one, if you catch my drift.
Then, the final exam is just plain ridiculous! Like, who cares about statistics that have nothing to do with actually improving your driving skills?! This whole thing feels like a money grab from start to finish. Speaking of which, if you don't pass the exam the first time, they make you pay extra money just to take it again! It's like, come on people, I'm not made of money here!
But that's not all. After you're done with the course, they still make you pay extra to actually receive your certificate. And get this, even though everything is online, they tell you it might take up to 30 days to get your certificate if you don't want to pay extra! I mean, what kind of sense does that make? When I asked about it, they even tried to make me pay extra just to get it emailed to me! And then more charges for a text update when it's ready?
It's like they're just trying to squeeze every last dollar out of you. I gotta say, I'm pretty ticked off about it. I might even file a complaint about their deceptive practices. Like seriously guys, be upfront with the fees and stop trying to nickel and dime us at every turn. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else for your driving course.
SafeDriver's Delay in Certificate Delivery is Causing Stress and Inconvenience
I recently completed a driving course with SafeDriver and unfortunately, I have encountered some issues with the delivery of my certificate of completion to the New Jersey DMV. I completed this course at the beginning of April 2023, and it is now the end of April and my certificate has not arrived yet. This delay is causing me a lot of stress and inconvenience as I am currently out of work.
As an Amazon employee, it is crucial for me to have a clean driving record, and the 2 points that will be removed from my license upon the DMV's receipt of my certificate of completion are necessary for me to pass my background check. Therefore, it is essential that the certificate reaches the New Jersey DMV ASAP.
While I understand that some delays may occur, I am frustrated with the lack of communication from SafeDriver and the slow progress in resolving this issue. I am considering reporting the company to the Better Business Bureau if my certificate does not reach the DMV by the end of this week.
I hope that SafeDriver can escalate the delivery of my certificate to the DMV as soon as possible, so that I can go back to work without further delays and stress. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.
SafeDriver Review: Faulty website charged my card multiple times, no confirmation or receipt, and poor customer service. Don't recommend
Hey folks, let me tell you about my experience with SafeDriver. First off, when you're done filling in your payment details, you get taken to a page where you can add some extras. That all went fine, but when I hit the 'submit' button to pay for the course, the website started acting up.
I got a message saying there were errors with my info and that I needed to correct them, despite the fact that my card had already been charged. I tried reviewing my details and re-entering them, but every time I hit the 'complete purchase' button, it charged me again. This went on for a while and I started to feel like I was being scammed. The website never moved past that error page, so I ultimately gave up and just hoped for the best.
The real kicker was when I checked my credit card. Imagine my shock when I saw multiple charges for the same purchase! I was furious, but unfortunately SafeDriver's customer service hours are limited (not open on weekends either) and they don't appear to be very responsive based on other reviews.
To add insult to injury, I never received any sort of receipt or confirmation for my purchase. Since I never got past that pesky payment page, I have no proof of purchase to show for my effort. If you don't frequently check your credit card transactions, you may never even realize you've been charged multiple times.
Overall, my experience with SafeDriver was incredibly frustrating and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's a real shame because I was excited to take their course, but their faulty website and lackluster customer service make it clear that they don't value their customers' time or money.
Boring, Frustrating & Not Worth the Money: My Review of [Website's] Driver's Ed Course
This website got me to buy their course because I read reviews and they were great. However, upon purchasing the course, I encountered several issues that made me regret my decision.
Firstly, the course made me stay on the same page for a long time - about 30 to 40 minutes! Seriously, I could reread the entire page like 75 times before the time is up. I found this to be quite frustrating and it made the learning process very slow.
Secondly, the course was very boring. I have taken different driver's ed classes before and this one was very hard to keep my attention. It lacked any interactive elements and was just a series of text that I had to read through.
Thirdly, the course promotes itself as "the shortest" but honestly, that's not true. I have found shorter and more interesting courses out there that are more informative.
Fourthly, I found that I had to remember the questions I answered at the beginning regarding my personal info. This annoying pop-up box kept coming up and asking different questions regarding those answers, and I only had 90 seconds to respond. If I got it wrong or ran out of time, it suspended my account and I had to call in and verify all this stuff. Plus, they ask all these stupid questions again along with others I never answered before which made the process even more frustrating.
Lastly, at the very end, they slapped me with a hidden $30 fee if I wanted it emailed versus sent through snail mail. This was quite the surprise and I wasn't happy about it.
Overall, this was by far THE WORST course I have ever taken. It was frustrating, boring, and not worth the money. The only thing I can say is that the customer service representative was very nice. I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone looking for a driver's ed course that's actually engaging and informative.

Unpleasant Experience with SafeDriver: Charged Before Purchase and Poor Customer Service
I was looking to take a driver safety course and SafeDriver caught my eye. I clicked on the link and was surprised to see that they have already charged me before I even finished my purchase. That was not a pleasant surprise at all. Unfortunately, I had to pass on this one. Instead, I opted for Aceable which seemed more convenient to me.
I paid for the course, but I noticed that I didn't receive an email confirming my purchase. I contacted them but I didn't get a reply. I have to say that it was very frustrating. But after a week, I decided to give them a call. I spoke to Lucette who was not the most pleasant of people. She interrupted me throughout the call and made me feel like my concerns weren't important. By the end of the discussion, she was practically yelling at me.
Overall, my experience with SafeDriver was not a good one. I don't appreciate being charged before completing my purchase. And the customer service left a lot to be desired. I hope they can improve on these issues in the future.
Disappointing Service at SafeDriver - Avoid for Your Own Sake
I can't believe how disappointed I was with the service at SafeDriver. I sat through their program for four long hours, only to find out that they charged me twice, despite my decision to opt out of any extras and certificate sending. To think that I wasted my weekend just to complete this course is beyond ridiculous. When I finally decided to call their customer service for help, I was told that the double charge was for a one day certificate sending option. Really? That sounds more like a scam to me.
I advise anyone thinking of using this service to go instead to a traffic attorney and spend the $50 instead. That way, you won't be wasting precious hours of your weekend on a useless program like this. Luckily for me, I managed to get a refund from my credit card company.
Overall, stay away from SafeDriver. Their service is nothing but a waste of time and money.
Tricky Sign-Up & Pricing: My Experience with SafeDriver.com
Sign-up and advertizing for SafeDriver.com was kinda tricky for me. They talked about $25 charge and that I will get the certificate via email, but emailin' the certificate costed another $30 more. I mean, come on, why ain't they transparent 'bout the pricing? Doesn't seem right to me. Some other online courses be more trustworthy, that's for sure. At SafeDriver, ya have to commit to the $25 without knowin' if the email certificate thing is somethin' ya can afford or not. Unlike other courses out there, they will show you the total cost before ya pay for the course. Just thinkin' 'bout savin' some cash? Then better choose another one then SafeDriver.
Also, talkin' 'bout the ShopperApproved reviews, looks like SafeDriver got some fake reviews there. Ya better check other sources before makin' up your mind.

Warning: Don't Take SafeDriver Course for Allstate Discount
I done did took this drivin' course from SafeDriver (safedriver dot com) and let me tell ya, it was a real pain in the booty. I lost nearly 5 hours of my life and shelled out 37 bucks for this nonsense.
I thought I'd be savin' some cash by gettin' the Allstate driver's defense discount, but that was a big ol' lie. Allstate didn't honour the discount even though it was plastered on the website in giant letters. Turns out this is a third party site called defensive drivingcourses dot com slash allstate-auro-car-insurance-discount-defense-driving/. It looks official, but it ain't.
Honestly, this whole deal sounds like a lawsuit waitin' to happen. I wouldn't give SafeDriver any stars, but I gotta give 'em at least one for actually providin' a course.
My advice? Talk to your insurance company first before takin' this course to make sure you're actually gonna get that discount. Don't waste your time and money like I did, folks.
Terrible Experience with SafeDriver: Charged for Course I Didn't Buy & Terrible Customer Service
So, I was checking out SafeDriver (safedriver.com) to see if their course was good for me to try it out. I was kind of considering it but then I found something else more interesting. So I decided not to get SafeDriver's course. But guess what? I was charged today on my bank statement for that same thing I didn't even buy! Like, what the heck?
I had to make a call to their customer service, and I got this lady, Mary, on the line. So, I told her my problem, but she just told me to hang up and call back tomorrow. And then, she said that some girls will take care of me. Girls? What kind of thing is that?
And then, suddenly, she hung up on me and left me there like, helpless. What kind of customer service is that? It’s definitely a scam. They took my money for nothing, and they even hung up on me. What a waste of my time and money.
Unsafe Driver: My Horrible Experience with SafeDriver's Hidden Charges and Poor Customer Service
Man, I really wish I had read these here reviews before I went ahead and spent my money on these jokers at SafeDriver. They was talking all professional on the website about some "nominal" charge to get your certificate emailed to ya, but what they don't say is that it's a whole $29.95 - that's like more than I paid for the dang course in the first place! And to make matters worse, I didn't even complete the transaction and they still went ahead and charged my card.
So I'm thinking, no biggie, I'll just give them a quick call on their 800 number. But what do ya know, even though it was between 8 and 5 like they said, the recording says their office is closed. What kind of nonsense is that?
Now I'm stuck having to dispute it with MasterCard, which is just a whole 'nother headache I don't need. Stay away from SafeDriver y'all, they're just a whole lotta rip-off.
Beware of Hidden Fees: My Experience with SafeDriver
I recently used SafeDriver to get my driver's license and it was a bit of a rollercoaster ride, to say the least! At first glance, the prices seemed pretty good and I was happy to find a school that didn't charge an arm and a leg. However, as I went through the course, I quickly realized that they would nickel and dime you every chance they got.
Getting my certificate was a nightmare. I had to pay an extra fee just to get a piece of paper saying that I passed. It was frustrating because I had already paid for the course and the "certification fee" was not listed anywhere when I signed up. And to be totally honest, I had trouble finding the right information to get this fee waived - it was buried deep in the website and I only found it after some serious digging.
Another big annoyance was the exam itself. It was easy enough to pass, but if you happen to fail, you'll have to pay another fee to retake the exam. I goofed up on one question and had to pony up another $25 to take it again. Again, this fee was not listed anywhere on the website and I only found out about it when I actually had to pay it.
I was so frustrated with all of the hidden fees that I called SafeDriver to voice my complaints. To their credit, they waived all of the fees and were genuinely apologetic about my experience. But honestly, I wish they had just been upfront about the costs from the beginning.
Overall, I would recommend using a different driving school if you can. The prices are misleading and you'll end up paying way more than advertised. If you do end up using SafeDriver, be sure to read all of the fine print and get ready to pay some extra cash along the way!
Beware of SafeDriver: Hidden Fees and Shady Tactics
So, I recently checked out SafeDriver (safedriver.com) and I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed. First off, they don't exactly make it clear that if you fail their test, you have to pay the full amount again. That seems a bit sneaky to me, and definitely not something I appreciate.
But that's not all. When you go to checkout, they give you the option to pay $29.95 to have your results emailed to you faster, or to wait 11-30 days for free shipping. Sounds okay, right? Well, they also include an alert that basically points out how many times the postal service has failed to deliver on time. Now, that just seems like a cheap shot to me.
Honestly, I don't trust this company at all. They seem a bit shady, and the fact that they're not upfront about some of their fees is a huge red flag for me. I wouldn't recommend using their services - it's just not worth the risk. Stick with a more reputable company, and save yourself the hassle.
SafeDriver Course Review: Shady Tactics and Inquisition-Style Verification Process
Man, lemme tell ya, these SafeDriver folks ain't makin' it easy for ya to get your certificate! They gotta ask you like a million questions just to make sure you're you, and if you ain't quick enough they'll lock you outta your own dang account! And then when you call 'em up to unlock it, they just hit ya with more questions like some kinda inquisition!
Honestly, if I knew it was gonna be this much of a hassle, I woulda just gone to a real-life class instead of doin' this online business. I mean, I understand they gotta make sure it's really you takin' the course, but dang, 90 seconds ain't much time to get through all them questions! And it feels like they're tryna trap you or somethin', 'cause if you don't pass the quiz when you're tryna unlock your account, they might just use that as an excuse to charge ya more money!
And after readin' some of the other reviews, I gotta say, I'm mighty nervous about what these SafeDriver folks might try to pull. Seems like they're real shady and sneaky, and they don't always tell ya what you're gettin' into. So if you're thinkin' about usin' this service, just be real careful, 'cause you never know what they might do next.
Safedriver.com Review: Outdated Content and Scammy Offers - Not Worth the Headache
I should have totally checked out safedriver.com before taking up their course, what a headache!
Do you know how many times I had to opt out of the $39.95 email certificate delivery and so many other scammy offers? It was at least a dozen times, for real! And it wasn't just once at the beginning of the course, I had to go through about six screens just to make sure I *reallywanted my certificate delivered by USPS - even though they say the post office is terrible! Oh, and it's not like these extra options are displayed only after you've paid $25 upfront!
That being said, the course content didn't live up to my expectations either. Most of the material seemed like it's from 2013 or something - totally outdated. Next time, I will definitely take my time and shop around for a better option. There have to be better courses out there, for sure.
