I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed out about my SakRoots handbag. I mean, it's peeling like crazy! And get this, it's not even new. I've had it chillin' in my closet for like 3 or 4 years, and I just started using it again. But now, the brown parts are totally falling apart. Not cool, man.

I bought my daughter a Pastel Bucket Crossbody Bag from SakRoots back in March. She started using it in May and already it's starting to fray at the seams at the bottom of the purse. She really likes the way it looks, but it's just not holding up very well. I'm pretty disappointed with the quality of the bag, especially considering the price I paid for it. I was hoping it would last her a lot longer than just a few months. It's a shame because the design is really cute and my daughter loves it, but it's just not worth the money if it's going to fall apart so quickly. I recently made a purchase on SakRoots website and it was a terrible experience. The website kept crashing and it was really frustrating. Finally, I received the product but it was really cheap and poor quality. I decided to return it but was told that I needed to have set up an account when I ordered. This was not clearly specified on the website and it was really annoying. Finally, I was able to get them to issue a UPS label and I sent the product back. The product arrived to them on August 7th but as of today, September 6th, I still have not received my refund.
I received an email claiming that the refund went back onto my bank card but it's not there. I checked with my bank and they never saw it come in. When I called customer service, the person on the phone said that a supervisor would look into it and email me but I never received anything. I am really disappointed with the customer service and will never order from this company again.
To make matters worse, I found out that the company's real name is Indonesia something or other. This makes me think that they are just another sweatshop company with a false image, cheap poor quality products and horrible customer service. I will keep pushing for my refund but I would not recommend doing business with them.

I got a clutch from Elliott Lucca as a Christmas present, and boy was I excited! But my excitement was short-lived when I got stabbed by an extremely sharp object near the zipper. It was painful and drew blood. I immediately contacted the company to return it, and they issued me a store credit for $48. But when I went to their website, I couldn't find anything for that price. I was confused and didn't know how they arrived at that number. The prices were starting at double that amount!
I received an email from the company telling me that I could use my credit at one of their sister sites: Sakroots or The Sak. But the process of having the credit transferred was not user-friendly at all. I had to go back and forth from the website, email, and phone. It was frustrating!
Finally, on March 17, I ordered an item from Sakroots using my credit. But by April 4, my item had not arrived. I called the company to inquire about its whereabouts, and they told me that they had been unable to deliver it. I receive deliveries weekly, if not daily, at the same address, so I was confused as to why they couldn't deliver it. When I asked why no one tried to contact me, they had no answer.
I had to go through a whole re-issuing of the credit process, instead of the item just being re-shipped. It was a hassle! When I was finally able to call back, my item was no longer available. I asked for a supervisor, but they told me that they wouldn't speak on the phone with customers. Instead, they would email me. I received an impersonal email, and when I replied, it went unanswered.
At that point, I just wanted a refund, but of course, they wouldn't honor it. Their customer service was terrible! I have yet to hear back from the company, and I doubt I will. So, depending on my own desire to be a glutton for punishment, the situation may go unresolved.
