I purchased a front loading samsung washer and dryer in december from lowes and by may 25 th the washer has already stopped working. First the door locked and wouldn't unlock so my laundry was stuck and soured. Now it is completely unusable and it has been 30 days and 2 unsuccessful service calls with no good replacement parts. I have made numerous calls and spoke with floor supervisors and I get the same story that all the proper paper work must be filled out to get me a replacement washer and then I am still not guaranteed a replacement because they may not approve it! I have been going to the laundry mat for a month with 10 + loads a week and it is getting costly and samsung could care less. I am really at my wits end.
I have a LG front-load washer that is a about 38 months old. It needs a SECOND MOTHER BOARD NOW The first mother-board went out with two-months of purchase. The machine now gives a code saying the door won't lock - BUT THE DOOR IS LOCKED AND THERE IS NO ACCESS TO THE WET CLOTHES. Also the cabinet is rusting just beneath the soap dispenser drawer. I am also going to the laudramat. What is a good reliable washer? Anything and everything is a piece of junk no matter how much you pay for it. I do not want another front-loader. Yeah they use less water - but you can't wash as much in them as they tell you or the load will not come clean. So I wash two to three times the number of loads that I did in my previous Kenmore Agitator washer. So how is that using less water?
I have only had this washing machine two months and it is already broken. The ND light keeps coming on I have done all of the trouble shooting that there is to do. There should be nothing wrong with this machine since i have only had it for 2 months.
I agree I have a Samsung purchased in March have had unit about 6 months . The other night I put a load of clothes in washer took bath and got ready for bed . My husband heard chimes going off on washer . We looked at washer smelling a burning smell seems my moter might be burnt up.I expected more out of this machine and hope I can get my money back on this unit. This unit I wash more the clothes do notcome out clean I have noticed that my whites are now gray.
Wholly catz, I didn't know so many folks are having the same rusting trouble as I am on my samsung washer. the machine is 2 years old and I replaced a Maytag after 15 years and it died but didnt have a lick of rust. Now I call Samsung today and the gal Luanne, she tells me they have never gotten a call of rust under the soap dish area and that there is nothing she could do for me SORRY she said for my inconvenience! Great now I have a very expensive rusty machine that I will show to everyone I know so they don't get caught with a crappy service company that lets their product sit in folks homes rusting!
I agree, I purchased a Samsunfg 330 in may. It doesnt clean The whites are all grey and the inside is always full of grime. I can mitigate the problem somewhat by running the cleaning cycle after every load, but it still had grime on the inside. We have soft water and use only 10 cc's of Tide 2x he detergent. So far no respomse from complaints to Samsung.
My Samsung washer is 3 years old and I have had the repairman over 3 times, each time it was a water pump problem. There seems to be a way loose coins can make its way out of the drum and into the water pump, which clogs to water pump and ruins the impeller of the pump.
This my opinion is a really poor design washing machine. We are really disappointed with the washer. Has anyone else had this problem. I will NEVER buy another SAMSUNG WASHER.
I have rust under the soap dispenser also. I purchased the washer dryer combo for almost $2000 thinking that I was buying a quality product. When I look at my washer I feel as though the money I spent was not worth it. Samsung should offer some type of remedy for customers who have experience this problem since so many people have complained about the same thing. I don't know how companies can get away with selling a product that is defective and not do anything about it.
Just got off the phone with samsung and found out that rust coming out from the bleach dispenser is not covered on my washer that is barely 2 years old. What! Very upset. I used to love Samsung
I have a samsung front load washer for 5 years now...never had any issues, until this month. My daughters were staying with me and overloading the washer. The basket start wobbling. I'm glad I called Samsung first. Only, because the sold me a protection-plus plan for $355, that covers the parts and labor for 1 year. The parts along were also $500. I was surprised that the offer a maintenance plan, after the machine was broke. Probably trying to regain customer loyalty. Anyway, it looks like the quality was gone down sent 2009. The basket part they order didn't fit my machine. IT was for a newer model. The difference was quite noticiable..the gears on my basket were much larger
I purchased front load Samsung washer and dyer, it lasted less than year. I had 2 service calls and they told me it was unfixable, parts weren't available, finally got rid of it. never buy a Samsung product again. now the dyer is acting up..
buy something else.
Sept 2019 - My renovator purchased a washing machine Superspeed Steam VRT plus Model No WF45K6500AV/A2 Seriel No OFF95AEJC00743N ONLY ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF AGO, thinking I was getting a lovely brand new, reliable, good quality washing machine for my newly renovated laundry room. NO. It has already broken down, does not spin, and so far has cost me about $600 in repairs and I am waiting for the repair man to come back and fix it. How long it will last goodness knows. If it breaks again I will dump it and get a GE top loader like my last one which lasted over 22 years without a single repair! DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE.
