Applied for this free credit score report from all three agencies and canceled soon after receiving the report. I received a cancellation email asking me to complete a survey as to why I canceled it. They have continued to charge my card now for two reports (mine and my husbands) for 4 months in a row. I have called to get a credit and have been told they would 'see if credit department would credit my account. They will notify me within 2-3 business days if they choose to credit the account'. While they provide a service if tou choose to pay $29.95 per month, the orginal email to register is very misleading.

I reviewed the contract on their website.
It clearly specifies that there is a FREE 7 Day Trial Membership for the services provided.
Yet, they charged my card $1.00 and 7 days later they hit me again for a $29.95 fee.
Doesnt see to be free if I paid $1.00 for the 7 day trial membership.

I agreed to the 29.95 monthly service charge and I paid for 1 months service.
I called to cancell before the next month is up, but guess what,
Now I dont have access to the months service I paid for.

Seems to me they are not fullfilling their contractual obligation by refusing to provide the service I have paid for and clearly charging me a dollar for a "FREE Trial Period"

How many people does ScoreSense have to lie cheat and steal money from before the Federal Trade commission shuts them down. ScoreSense must be held accountable, for their actions. To wave a flag that says getyourcreditscore for $1.00. As a ploy to trap the consumer into a service that was not wanted nor asked for. As the Trade law states the seller must abide by the price that was advertised. The push was to get you your credit score for $1.00. I paid the dollar, now I am charged $29.95 by scoresense for their service that is not wanted or asked for. What was asked for was their service to provide our credit score for 1.00, just as their service was never offered nor was their service requested, the issue that ScoreSense bills our account for what was portrayed as costing 1 buck. ScoreSense claim that the payment to them would be reoccurring forever, as they would hope, for their actions of defrauding the public Scoresense should be held accountable and provide our credit score for 1 buck, as was the contract. In the realm of business scoresense made a contract to provide their service for a dollar, 1 dollar, for one credit score. When a company sets out to take money from the public through misleading advertisement, so shall the company pay treble damages..

My ex-wife got ahold of my credit card numbers and charged an account to my card. I am trying to file charges against her and I need if at all possible an email stating She is the one who opened the account under her name and used my account. This happened before but we are now officially divorced and I want this to stop. The account number this account was under is [protected]. Asking for help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

This company must be stopped! The word free, means free, not a dollar. that is the scam, just to get your credit card #no, they did the same to me, they charge me a dollar, and seven days latter they took $29.95 out of my account. and I called them the next day, they did not want to give my money back, I started sending them E-mails and they finely gave me back my money. that was in June, now it is august, and they took another $29.95 out of my account. after I canceled it in June, and now they do not want to give me back my money, again. But this time I gave them 24 hours to put the money back in my account, by E-mail. after that I'm going to file a class action law suit against them, I have tried to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, But they are not listed with the BBB, I'm still working on it, I will find out who they are, and bring this to a stop. If you wish to shut this company down, and become part of this class action law suit, Please contact me at jimmied43@yahoo.com, I will need your help to shut them down, Please send me a letter of what they have done to you, I will need them to go to court with. with out your help this class action can not be filed. let us stand together and shut them down. .

I have been reading other comments about score sense and I totally concur. The way they trap you is the " $1/ 7-day free trial. " I never had any idea that I would have to call them back and CANCEL ( BECAUSE IT DOES NOT SAY THIS UP-FRONT ). Now I've incurred all type of charges on my account totalling $117.75. I've been on disability since 2003, so I already knew I couldn't afford to pay $29.95. What do you intend doing about this problem? I am member # [protected] ( as this is what I've been told ) and contact #'s [protected].

Thank you Jim for taking action to stop this scam. They've done the same to me on 9/15/2012 at 11:17 p.m. If it comes to a class action to get the money back please include my situation in your report. I have emailed them to cancel my subscription before the 7 day free trial and was still charged the $28.95. on 9/18/2012. There is also another mysterious charge on the 17th of Sept. at 9:56 p.m. for $19.95 that I did not authorize. Well, hope something positive results from this endeavor. unwittingly yours

The same thing recently happened to me. I agree, they need to be held accountable for misleading the public and fraud. I did not authorize the charges to my credit card. Who do I complain to now?

Wow OMG I was a victim too, I can't believe this and the sad thing is I never went on score sense for anything someone else set up account in my name and I just realized it this month which is august 2014 and it's been going on since February of 2013 they own me $599.00 and only plan on giving me 120.00 back I refuse to let this go. This company needs to stop scamming people. I work 3 jobs just to maintain and provide for my 3 children best believe this will not be the last time score sense hears from me. I'm beyond PISSED!

I never authorized you to continue billing me for 13 months. I did even know who you were and you continued to charge my credit card
and not send me a email, bill or notice you were doing as much. I want a complete refund for the 13 months you used my credit card.

I just started lloking at my 401k account and noticed some charges that i have never seen so started digging. What i found was my debit card associated with my 401k was being charged 39.95 since december 2015. So i do a google search on this scoresense thats doing the charging and wouldnt you know every thing i see is about them stealing from folks. I can't believe im a victim of identity theft from a company thats charging me supposedly for this protection, what r the odds? How does someone do this for a living, how do they sleep at night? I pray whoever is in charge of this has a change of heart about how they make a living. So upset and disappointed in a system that lets this happen...

may God forgive you and bless you

I too am being billed for some charge of 39.95 each month by OTL SCORESENSE.COM for something I did not want.
I try to get by on just Social Security and this company are preying on me and others making monthly deduction from my account for nothing. That is illegal but yet they are openly doing it. Surely there is some agency that must be able to prosecute these companies.
