The vendor had, at that point full access to my checking account, date of birth and social security number.I deleted the Plaid connection to my account and tried with another email address. This time, the denial letter stated that I had a bankruptcy. This is false. Never filed for bankruptcy.Please be very wary of this vendor. They don't seem to be very ethical in my experience

Saying they don't check credit and then denying due to a supposed bankruptcy seems like false advertising since that is something that can be gotten from a credit report. Not from my report though so obviously they are incompetent or a con. I was sucked in by the allure of a high limit card with no credit check but regret applying because who knows what will happen with the information they phished from me.

Do NOT sign up for this card! You will have no way of removing your information from their system. You can't remove or change any details. I'll definitely be linking some info to my state's finance authority, and the *** This has so so many red flags.
I spent 45 in gas using this card but i owed 90. Personally i will only use for emergency if im desperate. But i really needed gas in my car.

I'm so glad I found Tomo. I've been struggling for years to try to build my credit and everyone just keep turning me away. I found Tomo and used my card starting March 14, 2022 and by April 14, 2022 my credit score went from 0 to 656! That's amazing in just one months time! Since you have to pay the entire balance weekly I've been using it in place of my regular debit card! I would highly recommend anyone who's trying to build or repair their credit to get this card! They give you your credit limit based on the amount in your bank account no credit check is ran.
Pretty sure they are selling card numbers for fraudulent use. My first card was used fraudulently only a few months after i got it. And my replacement card number has now been stolen and used less than a week after card activation. I've only used the card twice, and neither place had possession of my card during the transactions.

HORRIBLE *** I first signed up under the false pretense that this would assist my credit score. I have now had this card for over 6 months and not ONCE have they boosted my credit score they don't even appear under my credit history as an active account. I have come to have multiple issues, one of them being that they pull out every week and somehow it takes a full 5 days for the money to post as a credit so until then I am not able to use my card. If I want to speak to a representative it is impossible to get a hold of anyone, in particular on the weekends. They recommend sending an email that takes days to weeks to receive a response that is "auto generated" not even a real human being. When changes need to be made on your account (i.e. change of bank account info) they send you a form to fill out as if we live in the 80's and than take weeks to respond that it was even received. Now due to the paper work that was sent weeks ago my account is once again "under review" and locked. I have since canceled with the company and would never recommend this outdated garbage to anyone. They make everything difficult!

Do not use this card ! I repeat do not use this card ! 0 fraud protection and they hold you accountable for any fraudulent charges. Tomo credit card is a not a legitimate company and the software is flawed for analyzing accounts. I was told I was denied because I had insufficient funds in my account. I have well over $1000 and non of my accounts are in the negative. Tomo states they use your bank account to determine your credit history. That's not true. In fact; my bank gave me a personal loan and yes they did check my credit. I hate that Tomo used a 3rd party to access my account and then deny me because the report was inaccurate or they used a screwed up algorithm. I got a traditional loan. Don't use Tomo or allow their 3rd party to rummage through your account.

If i could leave one star i would! First off communication is terrible you're unable to get anyone on the phone to speak with customer service! Secondly my card has been locked and i have been unable to use it for weeks! Mind you the *** is paid and granted i have been late a few times ,but nothing more than a couple of days I don't think that my card should be locked and "under review" especially after payment has been made! When i try to reach someone about this matter either they don't answer or no one is able to assist me and really don't have an answer other than "your account is under review and we don't know how long it's going to take . I attempted to exercise adverse action as I can prove who I am and where I reside. Was told they cannot reveal to me the source that was used or third party used for the verification attempt made. I was told they are FDIC , Follow FCRA, And Equal credit opportunity Act. Yet rep would not give his first and last name or where he was located and said that they control who can make a complaint or challenge the third party who reported unverifiable information. TomoCredit should be there and if you dont see it then click on the bank you have and get verified. Once done you will see them. Click to remove app and you are all set. TomoCredit will no longer be able to see your bank records including your account activities and your balance. They will be in the dark. The only info they will still have is your bank routing and account number. Call your bank and dispute the recent charge. Only then the bank will put a full stop on all transactions coming from them including the the merch. Identifier, and ANY amount they try to submit. And the bank will not charge you any fee since its a dispute. Only then you will be on the driver seat and pay on your own terms, not theirs. I might also add we should get enough signatures to halt the operation of those FRS and shut them down.. good luck people and never give your bank account number again.

They still processed a payment on 2/07/22 on an closed account meaning the agreement we had was null and void so they shouldnt have processed the payment if the account has been closed. I called to speak with a representative and he could not tell me anything about the review or what they found in the review and he says there was no one else I could talk to about it and there was no higher up authority I could talk to meaning they have people working from home as customer services tellers because he said he was the supervisor. I also tried to change the way of payment and they said they dont have any other options at the time so they take payments every Sunday but their agreement says you can change your payment option they are very misleading. I do not recommend this company or card to anyone

Communication is great up until you get the card. *** can't answer a question directly. I asked the same question 5-6 times and received a very generic answer, one which did not answer what was asking. I then requested information be changed on my account. They said they would review the request and let me know. At no time did they advise my account would be locked during this time. I went to use the card and couldn't not knowing it was locked. I contacted and asked how long it would be locked for. They said they couldn't give me a time frame and whenever my review happened to be done, they'd let me know. All I requested was for an payment account to be changed. It also took 7 days for a payment to be applied to my account. Don't even bother with this card. The idea of it seems great but you will have no piece of mind with issues and customer service is horrible. I also asked how to speak with management because of all the issues I've experienced. I was told that I could call and request to speak with one and if one is available, they'll reach out to me when they can. That's comforting.

Beware. First off, customer service is often unreachable during advertised business hours. I have been ignored in live chat, experienced rudeness when I finally got in touch with the chat and have never been able to reach anyone via telephone (it just rings and rings for minutes on end). Second, you have no control over your account. You cannot change your due date to match your pay schedules, you cannot edit your linked bank accounts, etc. To make changes, you have to contact customer support who are rarely available and less than helpful when youre lucky enough to reach someone. Lastly, this business does not communicate with you. Your card will be frozen/blocked with no warning or explanation, and they will even take it a step further by deactivating your account all-together! This was my experience with Tomo in a nutshell, and I will not recommend them to anyone. Id like someone to assure me that my external banking information is no longer accessible or viewable by the staff at Tomo since Im no longer allowed to log in to check myself Oh, wait that would require the ability to add/remove bank accounts in the first place and youve made that impossible.

I was so close to making a fatal mistake with this company. It turns out it's a total scam. I say again, "TomoCREDIT IS A TOTAL SCAM!" They claim to be in *** and I live in ***. We will be visiting their office with letters of complaints tomorrow. I find upon my own conclusions thus far this company is made up entirely from the advantages of PUA money given during the pandemic. The pandemic started and gov. *** handing out money for businesses prior to covid19 then after they grant *** money to open up business again and even offer *** money to accommodate the entirety of its Financials. Therefore those whom owns this business had started it up merely to gain the advantages of having legitimate reason for applying for the grants. They pocket they money and run a bare "minimum staff" company. Additionally I find it all skeptical when once you've given your private vital infos to them and after your first transaction you can suddenly get terminated with what seems to be a rolodex of generic excuses! I have contacted this company several times about cancelling this service and every month they claim that they would stop charging my card starting in November 2023. I have multiple email exchanges and attempts begging for them to stop, they never did anything to my credit or improved it in any way. I never received any services or the tomoboost card that they heavily advertise. I originally signed up for a plan that was $8.99, then the following month they charged me $26.99, and then $34.99 for several months with no explanation for the increase - shame on me for not contacting my bank before today. This is a very fraudulent enterprise that needs to be shut down.

Tomoboost is charging my debit account for credit boost services it is not rendering. I have been charged over 100 dollars for boost services so far.
When I tried to log back into the account I signed up for, the response was that an account cannot be found.
I do not see any boost reflecting in my credit and no access to an account to see or cancel services.
I have emailed tomoboost up to ten times, and they keep sending me the same message over and over like it is a maching that is answering with no specific response to my question and I am still being charged as at this day of filing this claim. I was charged $49 today for services not found or known. This is such a terrible company with no real person customer care.

today is February 3 January 3. I sent email to Tomo boost to stop charging me for service. I have canceled by previous email first one January 2 email sent December now it’s February I’ve been charged 999 so 3×9 you get the picture the ripping me off for no service literally I don’t use that app never use the app. I signed up for it but then realized there was no one I could contact no one returns the email no one answers the phone.
Claimed loss: I was charged 999 February then again, 999 January to my recollection charged again, 999 in December. It’s funny how they can just continuously charge me, but not acknowledge one correspond.
Desired outcome: Legitimately return $21 an excess of service not in use at all there is no record of me using the service other than signing up for it. That’s a damn shame.

I enrolled in a payment plan to pay down a balance with Tomo Credit and after the balance was paid in full Tomo continues to withdraw money from my account every two weeks. The payment plan was supposed to be monthly. I’ve emailed the company three separate times requesting that they cease withdrawals, refund the overage, and close the account but they refuse to respond. The first email was sent 17 days ago. I was able to find a customer service number but when I called, the message states that they are not accepting phone calls and to send them an email, which I’ve done! I’m disputing the charges with my bank.

I covered my full payment through tomos promotional email of 40% off. I don't have balance. I would love to talk about if someone would finally reach back out to me but is tomo telling me that they took that payment on Friday that I made before noon, under false advertisement? I also noticed tomo has been trying to get the full amount out of my bank account since Thursday to today not only before the promotion ended but also before the due date. You essentially tried your very best to take out the full payment BEFORE i could do the promotional payment which would have overshot the balance i actually owed. This isn't new for tomo but this is the 3rd or 4th time I've reached out about this issue and have yet to get a response.
Desired outcome: To remove the remaining balance, do not falsely report on my credit report this November and close out my account.

I thought this company was like Experian Boost however they have charge my account 3 times. They closed my card with out notice, tried getting help could not get help. Sent emails haven’t heard from anyone. I was trying to see they closed my card. I will also be complaining to the BBB. I called there 800 number I get nothing but an automated system that knows nothing. I just want to speak to someone to resolve this issue. There isn’t any reason for them to close my card or lock it. I can't seem to figure out how a company that has an effect on people's credit is operating like a corner store.
I've been sending emails only getting automated responses, there's no reply on chat. I have hundreds of dollars in disputed / fraudulent charges and no one will reply or respond back to me.
The card has NEVER posted on my credit report despite THOUSANDS in payments.

Refusal to replace lost card
My card was lost, so I went through the process of freezing the existing card and requesting a new one.
After 2 weeks, I still had not received my card, so I contacted customer support. They informed me "they were not printing replacement cards".
I asked to cancel my account. They have not responded to any emails since.
If I cannot use the line of credit I have, I would prefer to close the account but they will not respond to any form of communication.
Desired outcome: I'd like a response, and a clear answer as to why my card isn't being replaced.

Tomo Credit Card closed my credit card this AM with out any notice. I have always been on time with payments and just used that same day. I have reached out numerous times today with no response. However, I have opened this card in March (I accidentally said February by accident in the attached correspondence), and to this day, the card has not reported to TransUnion at all.Despite contacting both Tomo and TransUnion several times, both sides have deflected responsibility to each other; TransUnion claims that I should contact Tomo since it is up to them to send in the reporting data, and Tomo claims that they sent it, but TransUnion didn't receive it.Since I am trying to buy a house in the near future and would like to have my best credit forward, I would much appreciate it if this matter can be resolved. My personal information was used to open an account at your Tomo. I did not open or authorize this account, and I therefore request that it be closed immediately. I also request that Tomo Credit absolve me of all charges on the account, and that you take all appropriate steps to remove information about this account from my credit files. I'm seeking an removal of this account that is closed from all credit bureaus. This was absolutely not authorized and I cannot get in touch with the company.
I applied for a credit loan with ***, to which the automated system declined claiming they couldn't verify my identity. This was after they gain access to my bank accounts (both of which have my name to verify identity). They provided no alternative to proved identity further and their customer service basically said there's nothing that can be done. Calling gets you put on hold for up to five minutes before it cuts you off saying just leave a message. Emailing has not received a reply. I have already decided to pull the plug on this so-called opportunity. I try going in to remove my banking information and they DO NOT ALLOW IT! How is it possible that they get to keep your financials info with there being zero charges / fees / nor any transactions on the card since they immediately froze it upon activation? This seems very fishy and I want my account closed immediately and proof that all my financial details have been removed.

The merchant told me they cannot refund me but they will work with the bank. It has been 5+ months and *** doesn't respond to my e-mails about the dispute. Tomocredit recently attached a credit card debt on my credit report with Equifax. Equifax removed the account due to my identity theft and also that I was in there very on identity theft breach. They went and then went to report it to Transunion and Experian. I NEVER HAD A TOMOCREDIT ACCOUNT. Please remove this from my credit report. It is false reporting! The company also soft pulled my credit from equifax a month ago when the account was disputed last year. Please leave me alone at this point. My next step is to simply get a lawyer.

Tomo credit uses faulty advertising to lure customers. It starts with "no credit score required" ads that say you can have credit lines up to 10k. The problem is that my account has available credit, yet I have not been able to use my available credit for weeks. They don't have the appropriate customer service support call center, so you're left with one person in an office in CA that says "there's no supervisor here this week." the representative is rude and not helpful either. They bully customers with faulty advertising and are not set up to run a credit card company with the appropriate infrastructure to support. I've been trying to use my available credit and have been declined, even though my credit is available.

Date of Transaction was $306.00 for concert Tickets on April 19, when we arrived at the concert we saw it was outside on the water with temperature being in the low 30s, nowhere in the advertisements or the confirmation email did it indicate that it was outside and we should bring proper clothing. So I disputed the charges and after 3 months I got the following reply "Based on the investigation, we do not find that an error has occurred. Therefore, no funds will be credited to your account, and this matter is considered closed."I am not sure what error they are talking about. I called and left massages to get clarification and have not received a return phone call an explanation on this.

I recently learned that my personal information was used to open an account at your company. I did not open or authorize this account, and I therefore request that it be closed immediately. I also request that TomoCredit absolve me of all charges on the account, and that you take all appropriate steps to remove information about this account from my credit files. I called the company and spoke to *** to remove my checking account. He informed me they cant remove this account immediately and that it would need reviewed. The account linked was a family members account and they are now deceased. I had an issue with my bank and was trying to get it resolved and they took the money out of my deceased relatives account. I informed then they had no authorization to do so and that the money should be returned immediately. Not only to mention i was told this card would eventually go to a biweekly and monthly basis over a year ago but they automatically take money out weekly so if you accidentally forget that you made a purchase they end up over drafting your account because they auto take it out and there is no option to unroll once you link your accounts your screwed!

July 7,2022, applied for credit card, they asked for all my information including my bank information which I gave before really thinking about it. Then I emailed the company and requested they discontinue use of my information and they kept my bank information. I need them to delete my information and not use it as I feel this is a scam and I don't want anyone to have access to my bank account.
On June 2, 2022, a payment for *** posted to my charge account. The card had been locked so that I would not use it, but was an email explained once the payment posted my card would be unlocked. The payment posted on June 5th and since then no account on my account has been taken.

Tomo took over five months to investigate the matter but never contacted me during the investigation for supporting documentation. In October they simply emailed me saying the case had been resolved to refer to the "dashboard" for further information. The dashboard said: "resolved-denied". I contacted their customer support for additional information and to be provided with the documentation the merchant provided them - they refused. The support agent said: "the dispute decision should have been received via email" it was not, they are erroneously inconsistent in how they apply policies internally. They took far beyond the scope of time allowed to investigate, did not communicate with me in any way, and do not respond to my emails to their CEO, executive team, or board.

This is a scam. I charged me and charged me never provided any service. Refused to acknowledge my cancellation requests. Then started trying to charge me more multiple times daily all day long. I finally had to cancel my other credit card to stop them from trying to repeatedly charge me all day long just because they wanted to because I repeatedly emailed to cancel since I was never given any service. There is no phone number to reach them only email which is ignored.
K *** is the absolute worst. I don't think they are a legitimate company at all based on the fact they don't even report to the credit *** pull the payment 3 days after your transaction. beware & lets sign a petition to shut them down by law they have to report to the 3 credit bureaus
Scam I asked for Auto Pay Shut Off wouldn't do. My card was locked suddenly. No Explanation whatsoever system was down. No support or customer service either it seems. I called my bank stop payment against any future transactions. SCAM.
Everyone is telling the truth about the tomo credit card. They locked my card not even a month after I got it! I tried to pay one of my bills with it and they told me it was in review, which they do manually, don't think so. Anyway, I just tried to talk to support and the message came back saying they were off line. They refuse to give any good explanation of why they are doing this. They are thieves and crooks and liars. Stay clear of this card. It's bad news.

TomoCredit will no longer be able to see your bank records including your account activities and your balance. They will be in the dark. The only info they will still have is your bank routing and account number. Call your bank and dispute the recent charge. Only then the bank will put a full stop on all transactions coming from them including the the merch. Identifier, and ANY amount they try to submit. And the bank will not charge you any fee since its a dispute. Only then you will be on the driver seat and pay on your own terms, not theirs. I might also add we should get enough signatures to halt the operation of those FRS and shut them down.. good luck people and never give your bank account number again.
