I was scrolling through my bank statement and discovered a charge for $29.95 on December 28, 2010. I had never ordered or authorized any one to take $29.95 or any money from my account.

I have tried to contact scoresense to return my money to no avail. I am tired of these things happening. I have had subscriptions to magazines with money taken from my account despite the fact that I had never ordered any magazines. If you don't check your account, these people get away with it. It's so frustrating.

I checked my account and realized that money was taken out of my bank without my permission. After reading so many complaint about this issue, ive realized this is a lost cause. I'm just wondering why you dont let people know this is going to happen since so many people has complaint about the same thing. Everyone that has cancelled with in a timely matter after the 7 day "free trial" should be able to get their $29.95 back. Just like other people has said. THIS IS STEALING IF WE DONT GIVE YOU THE OK TO CHARGE OUR ACCOUNT.

i am yet another victim of this "scorescense" scam. i have never authorised anybody to take money off my
account and still find that has happened in two occasions, the last one for $29.95.i have not even gotten any
value out of this. i request that the money taken be refunded in full immediately.in the meantime i will begin
to dispute this with my bank/CC. i am uncommonly mad at these people, and will NOT leave this alone.

I am being charged for a service I never requested. All I was doing was trying to view-buy a car on line and the next thing I know I have a charge on my credit card for $29.95 every month for NOTHING! If I do not get a credit to my account I will take further action! I am sick of companies taking advantage of me when I request to cancel their services and still get charged. BBB will be hearing from me too!

You just put your cc # on a public website and you think you don't need a company like Scoresense to protect you from ID theft.

Strange perspective eflkin. I saw it as a legitimate and valid contention to your statement. Your assumption that the post was intended to incite an argument is unfounded IMO. I find it rather telling and amusing that you are attempting to exert control over how one chooses to comment and what they choose to comment on.

Many companies like Scoresense provide monitoring of your credit report with alerts to any changes, as well as offering other services to the consumer. I have no qualms paying a monthly fee for my monitoring service. Being denied credit is just one reason why a person may want to check their credit during the year, but certainly not the only reason. It is the responsibility of the consumer to read the terms and conditions to determine if the service is right for them.

I concur Paul. My credit monitoring service alerts me anytime anyone checks my credit, which happens more often than most people know, and does have an affect on one's credit. I can also check it anytime I like for that one monthly fee, which has proven invaluable and has helped me make strategically advantageous financial decisions.

Since when is disagreeing with a poster an "issue"? Had Paul not addressed your statement first, someone else would have, me, for one. Your initial assertion rankled me also, quite frankly.

Here is another complaint regarding $29.95 taken from my bank account.
I do NOT want this service, have no idea what it is, did not sign up for it or I would know.
My bank is a very honest bank and they will pursue this for me if you don't send me a check for $29.95 immediately.

I am a current employee of score sense. Even though there are many complaints about score sense and though some are very good arguments. People, you have to stop making yourselves look so ignorant and stop to think about what you are saying. You are upset with a company who clearly states to you this is a free trial period. Now WHAT IN THE HECK DO YOU THINK "TRIAL PERIOD" mean? Hmmmm definitely doesn't mean free and that's it. Right next to the box you click to accept the terms and conditions(by the way you can't use the service unless you agree.DUH!) it states in white letters bordered by a blue back ground which means this is clearly highlighted for you JUST IN CASE YOU DIDN"T SEE IT. There is a 7 day trial period and after which you will maintain a 29.95 membership fee. Its not score sense or the agent, you call to say anything and everything to, fault. STOP CALLING US TO LIE AND SCAM US out of your lazy habit of not reading! How crazy would it be for me to put my credit card info into a website and not read the frickin terms and conditions. Come on people grow up! I am sick of lazy people calling to make our days long, hard, and frustrating because YOU DIDN'T READ! This whole posting is full of people who just want to whine about there own screw up. There is nothing you or I can do about you accepting and agreeing to the membership. READ PEOPLE READ! good grief!

Good luck with that, by the time you notice it, your "so called" time runs out to cancel and they will not refund. Does no one regulate these thieves? Should this not be against the law of some kind? There is a law for everything else, especially anything we do to make a buck...but they can steal and steal and no one can do anything? Whatever. Cancel your Credit Cards and get a new number and don't ever give it to them again...

I am also a current score sense employee, and as such, I fully understand both sides. I do agree that everyone needs to read the Terms and Conditions whenever they decide to put their credit/debit card information on any site. As for the Scoresense.com Terms and Conditions, the fact that the service you are signing up for is listed at number 8, in BOLD CAPITALIZED LETTERS. So it IS your fault when you get charged. Next time you decide to call in and make a fool out of yourselves by yelling and claiming you never signed up for anything, think of this: IT ISN'T OUR FAULT YOU PUT YOUR CARD INFORMATION ONLINE AND DON'T READ! We are only doing our jobs, and we REALLY don't have any power over the refund processes. How would it be a smart business move for One Technologies to just issue a refund for everyone who claimed they didn't know anything about services? Nothing personal, but most of you people are liars. We DO get customers that call in within the 7 day trials who fully understand they will get charged because they DID read the Terms and Conditions. It also states in the Terms and Conditions that it does count down by the hour. So when you call in, be nice... Because we CAN put extensive notes on your account which MAY help you get your money back. Don't threaten us... It doesn't help your cause.
As for the people who think this is a scam, I understand how you feel also. I don't agree with the way score sense gets their customers. It is very sneaky and deceitful. I believe it should be made WAY more obvious on the site that it is a trial and of the price of the monthly membership. I understand you're angry about your money being taken out of your accounts unexpectedly, but that alone doesn't call for rudeness to other people... Personally, I have identity theft through a different company because I see what customers have to deal with in regards to refunds. They made it VERY clear on their site about the trial and the price. They even let me pick the package before I entered any of my information. There are system errors on OCCASION where it'll charge before the end of the trial period or when you're canceled. It's a computer, and computer systems aren't flawless. So before you just believe what you see other people writing on here, remember that people lie when they are mad and don't get their way right off the bat. If you don't get your refund the first time, call back and request it again. I have yet to see an account that hasn't gotten their refund the second time around. Remember, we deal with angry people all day long. It is nice to have someone who isn't screaming you the entire length of the call.

Hello everyone. I'm writing to complain about the service provided by Scoresense. The company is cheating people, while the customer service is very rude to client. I can't imagine that this kind of terrible business exist in the United States. The United States should not allow this biz to exist at all. Recently, i made a complaint to the customer service of charging me $29.95 every month, without my awareness & consent, and at the same time, i also requested the refund. They rejected and even shouted at me. How can a customer service shout at client? It's ridiculous! You should practice your customer service skill before taking that job. It's really shameful to your company, you know?

I WANT TO APPEAL TO ALL PEOPLE IN THE UNITED STATES, DON'T GET CHEATED BY SCORESENSE ANYMORE. DON'T BECOME THEIR CLIENT. THEY'RE CHEATING PEOPLE.

I had the same problem only I checked my credit report for $1.00 and had supposedly 7 days to cancel.I was not aware that they counted sat and sunday and holidays. I called my bank and was told they would issue me another debit card with new #.call your credit card and ask if they would send you a new card with a new # this should take care of it. You can also dispute the charges if you want.

You have agreed to this whether you intended to or not, you gave them your account #.
The same thing happened to me, I called my bank and they are going to issue me another debit card with new #. You can do this also with a credit card. If you tell your bank or credit card you did not authorize this charge, they will start an investigation to get your money refunded
