Securus technologies false account statement
We started to receive mail with a false name but correct address. The name the person is using is Jeremiah Johnson. The account is [protected] and invoice I received today is S184938471. Amount is $29.97 due.
We do not know or have anybody in prison system and certainly don’t know a ‘Jeremiah Johnson’. I’ll document what I receive in mail until this is resolved. I’ll talk to a lawyer if needed if this isn’t resolved soon. I hope it doesn’t come to that. I’ve attached photos that hopefully are helpful.
Desired outcome: Justice of some kind if you figure out who is basically stealing money from this company. Added time on whatever time they are serving already.

It is already awful enough that my husband is in prison. But not being able to communicate with him, because the connection for the newly installed tablets is extremely faulty. He gets in a couple of words before it cuts off every couple of seconds throughout the entire call. They need to fix this system because they are charging us for phone calls that we are not even actually getting properly and upsetting families and the inmates.
Desired outcome: I would like a response and their plan of action to correct this
Securus routing issues
I've been calling for almost 2 months about not being able to press 1 when the inmate calls from the TDCJ COLE UNIT. They have said it was a scam blocker and told me to press #632#. That doesn't work. I've called back and had other representatives say it was a routing issue. They put in a ticket that takes FOREVER. If a call actually comes through 1 time, they CANCEL the ticket and you have to start all back over. The call comes in sometime where you can accept it and then the you can't accept it again. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM. IT'S FRUSTRATING.
Desired outcome: Compensation for the time lost or simple FIX THE ISSUE.
How long did it take for them to correct this? I'm having the same problem. Everything was fine until 10 hours ago.
Funds never received
Is too many to my nephew on a number of occasions. I would let whoever I got a message from another inmates family I asked him to please tell him I sent the money. And for some reason it never got to him. I emailed Securus and I've called Securus and they say that is his money and not mine and that would be fine if he would have received it. But he did not. So basically he was unable to call he was unable to email message he was unable to buy himself necessary commissary items because the money I sent was lost. It was never put on his account he was released it wasn't given to him when he left and I want to know where it is. Bad enough they charge as much as they do and you can't get through to them when you called it's like they never answer. So there's still issues. I asked to get my funds back and I sent documentation about the money that was deposited in his account supposedly. Well they said it was his property and I had no right to it which is fine but then they should give him the funds that were there for him. If not they need to send it back to me they need to make this right somehow. Securus is the worst most unethical company and the way they run things and carry on business it's Criminal. I am just totally surprised that they are still in business and able to continue ripping people off and charging outrageous amounts that they charge. Not to include having location finders for cell phones that the inmates call. That they don't tell you about but you know you're located if they decide day want to do it and locate you they do your charge for a location anyway they'll charge you it. It's included in the fee and you don't even know it. The company is just a scam. It's a freaking lying cheating Every Which Way You Can and get away with it company and no one does anything about it. They should just be shut down there's got to be something better out there because Securus sad that that is basically the only one that is available. I feel as though they do illegal business and they pay other people off to be able to continue on with what they're doing. They should be out of business as far as I'm concerned they should shut the doors they should have to shut the doors someone should investigate to see everything that this company is doing that no one knows about. The truth about this company and what happens behind closed doors needs to be put out there in the open. Cuz they're doing a lot of people wrong and living high on the hog for the higher up ones I'm sure the executives are doing real well I'm sure they get great bonuses while they sit there and screw families they're just trying to reach their family member that happens to be incarcerated. Something needs to be done about Securus. There needs to be other companies that they could no longer have cell phone locators to locate the calls that an inmate makes that is basically on a screenshot now and families are getting charged for this location thing that families don't even know about. I happen to find an article that informed me that the company was doing that. Also they need to be investigated for how much they are really charging families to talk to their members that happened to be in jail or prison. They're ripping people off. I'm sorry people don't deserve to be ripped off when their loved one is incarcerated it's hard enough anyway. I will write to the legislation and the sinning and who the justice department everybody I could write you to let them know that I personally feel Securus needs to be fully investigated. And people that they have stole from basically they need to be reimbursed. My nephew never received anything from them not why he was in this past couple of months and he didn't receive anything when he was released. I want to know where it's at what did they do with the fans that were his personal property as they put it. Do I think there are a bunch of Thieves and Crooks why yes yes I do. I have no problem admitting that. If need be I would say it to their face if I ever had to go to court about it cuz that's all I do rip people off their thieves are Crooks they're just no good.

Securus Technologies
I am not receiving my husband's calls. He is in TDCJ. We have money on both ends for calls. He says he calls and it rings and rings but I don't get it on my end. When I call Securus it tells me when he's attempted to call. He can call others but it's not coming through for me. Spoke to someone from Securus and they said it's a routing issue and nothing can be done. Surely something can be done. Issues with Securus are non stop.

I think it's a joke now that nothing has been done, but I think securus technology has taken more than their fair share of money from people , however they don't care. A private company like this benefits ALOT of people. I know there is no other way right now, but use the phone as little as possible. They have zero customer service and steal your money. Don't give them all your time and DO NOT sign up for anything that allows them to take money from your account. HORRIBLE SERVICE

Securus video connect sucks, I am so freaking tired of all the piece of [censored] technology that Securus uses…. On March 13, 8:30 AM Pacific time I had a video set up with an inmate, just so he could see that I’m waiting for him to come online but it doesn’t work on his side. This is more than unacceptable in addition to this piece of crap video service they offer half the time when my son tries to call me on their piece of crap service and I hit one. Nothing happens.
Desired outcome: Drop Securis from all prisons and detention centers and get someone that knows how to make their [censored]ing technology work because obviously, these guys have their head up their [censored]!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Washington women's correction facility. You have a monitor in one of your units, and i'm sure it's not the only one, that is not working. Multiple reports have been made and it still isn't working it's been a month that i'm personally aware of!
I've called you people, the women at the facility have made multiple reports, your equipment isn't working and you're costing me money. This will now be $11! Myself, not including my son, my daughter, grandmother, aunts, uncles, and frankly the fact that you're doing nothing about it, we are now about to start a class action lawsuit. An inmate calls me from George Bailey Detention Center…I listen to the recording and press 1 after my choices are given… and then nothing….it gives me options again…I respond in my iPhone 13 by hitting 1….nothing!….This sucks and is the worst feeling in the world thinking that the inmate thinks your just not accepting the call!…

Bad customer service from securus technologies
I called securus three times on Friday evening around 7pm customer service picked up the phone and rudely hunh up without hearing what i had to say very very rude i called three times and they hung up three times all the employees will be reported on Monday i psy money to support securus to have bad customer service and for the internet and phone not to be working ill be also contacting the st louis Missouri justice center letting them know what services your providing to them im definitely reporting all customer service and they should be fired
Phone calls dropping
This is Morrison resident and the calls has been dropping since Decembers called and spoke with one customer service representative and she said they give you back the calls. Well, I have seen one call out of the ten calls that dropped! The calls last about five to ten minutes. We are spending our money on these calls and can't get all the minutes we are paying for! Whenever my jusband, an inmate at Henry County Jail in Georgia calls me, the options are press 1 to accept, press 2 to deny or 7nto hear how they chrge you for the phone call. However whn inpress 1 to accept thenphone call whether its free or collect. Dnt matter, dnt matter if ive dialed the #632# to unblock spam blocker, to turn tht feature off, the phone does not register my touch whn npress 1 so the [censored] keeps talking whn I am pressing 1111111111111111111111111111111
N thn my husband thinks im not answering bc he cnt tell n do you knw wht tht does to our relationship. securus calls being charged to my bank account that are not mine
have over 45-50 clls being charged to my bank accout at $6.25 each from 1.800.844.6591 from texas that are not mine. I have a son who is at lake city youth offenders gacility in florida. No one in texas. I need to give me a check in the amount that was taken out of my bank account. Then i need you to block that number from charging me, i will being go to my bank tomorrow to get this straightened out. I am really get upset. Paid never received. I have attempted to buy stamps, received receipt emails each time but no stamps. Money was taken from my account which I sent proof of to the email customer service. Response was i received and used stamps. Called each time a different reason, but they see I did not receive them. Asked for refund no refunds on stamps? Never received?

I attempted to set up an account so that I could message my friend in jail, where she was issued a "tablet." This is the company she was prompted to tell friends and family about, so I went ahead and looked it up on Google Play. I was able to set up a profile, but not able to do anything with it. Instead, I kept getting error messages, saying either "please use a real email address," or "this doesn't match any account in our system." So, I'm out $13 for the money to load the account, and I have yet to be able to actually send or receive any messages with my friend. Plus, there is no actual customer service person who I can speak to. This company is nothing but a scam, and I'm going to report them to the BBB on Monday.

Hello. I have not been able to receive calls or pay for calls to us from an inmate since March 2022( there was an update around that time). I have tried to make payments as usual via credit card. But every time I try to add funds my credit card accepts the charge and Securus Technologies reverses the charge. My credit card company said they do not know why Securus is doing a reversal on the charge. This has happened even when the CC co. tried to put it thru themselves. Securus does a credit reversal.
So it's now Sept. 22,2022 and account shows Blocked. I follow instructions then it shows "Currently we are experiencing technical difficulties processing your request. Try again later". Which I did and same thing again. I even used a different CC and same thing. Securus does a reversal of charge.
I have contacted Securus via email I have all emails saved. Each time a different response even to send payments via USPS mail, even saying my card caused a glitch, but no real resolution. The account # 9033983 shows Blocked. email [protected]@yahoo.com

I'm trying to see how was a CBS Business Billing Block by Securus placed on my account just by my fiance being transferred from one facility to another one. I received calls the morning he left the old facility and have not been able to receive the first call from him since getting to the new facility. The new facility has tried to reenter his information into the system but none of his calls connect when he tries to call out and it shows CBS block in prison system. How do I get this removed off my account so I can speak to my fiance? No one at Securus seems to know what type of block it is or where it came from.

I bought 24 stamps never went to my account
I went to securus website and went to purchase stamps well I bought 24 stamps. 4 different transaction the cost was 4.36 4.36 4.36 and 4.37. and so now I have to wait for securus to put a ticket in to see where the stamps I bought went to. There website is really confusing to use. I want a refund back from them for the stamps that I purchased and never received. And when you go to my account and go to history of purchase of stamps well the date is 8/22 there no record of stamps being purchased on 9/1, 9/1,9/2,9/4 were the date of purchase. I was so frustrated with there website.

I have spoken with securus technicalities and they are supposedly still working on my ticket for the stamps that I never received. I really hope that they will give me a refund back for the stamps that never went onto my account. But there policy says that they don't give refunds for stamps. unauthorized charge on my debit card
On 8/26/2022 a charge of $18.41 went through my back account. My acct for phone funds was closed at the time. I just reopened it today. It said Securus inmate 4814. I don't know who did this. Not me. If you could let me know what happened I would appreciate it. I would like a refund for the $18.41 please. And I would also like to know who made this charge. Thank you.

I added money into my prepaid calling account and immediately realized I had made the transaction already. I called to ask if the one payment can be reversed and she said because they were almost 10 minutes apart that she can't do anything. she transferred me to her manager and she told me the same thing. I told her that it was a mistake and that I called as soon as I realized and she then told me that because they were 10 minutes apart that it wasn't a mistake and I asked if I can at least get one of the fees back then and she said no two transactions two fees and as I was speaking she in a very rude tone said have a great day now and hung up. Securus has made A LOT of money from me over the past couple years,and I just feel like the lady was so rude to me.

I had a video Saturday 7/9/22 and Monday 7/11/22 at the Ingham county correctional facility in Mason Michigan. My videos wouldn’t connect. My daughter could see and hear me but I could not see or hear her. I lost out on my money twice. I would like the issue resolved as soon as possible because I do have more videos coming soon. The time was for 9 PM for both visits all my visits are set up for 9 PM and I have one for today which is the 14th so I’m hoping that it goes through
