I recently had an experience with Selfridges & Co (selfridges.co.uk) that left me feeling pretty disappointed. I had placed an order with them, but unfortunately, it didn't arrive as expected. After trying to get in touch with their customer service team multiple times, I was left feeling frustrated and like my time had been wasted.
It's a shame, really, because Selfridges & Co is known for selling high-end items. You would think that a store like this would prioritize their customers and provide top-notch customer service. But unfortunately, that wasn't my experience.
As someone who is used to the great customer service provided by companies like Nordstrom and Amazon.com, I was surprised by the lack of care and attention I received from Selfridges & Co. It's not something I'm used to, and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I gotta say, I wish I had checked out this site before I went ahead and ordered from Selfridges & Co. I was pretty disappointed when they sent me the wrong item - it felt like they were trying to pull a fast one on me. The product they sent me looked nothing like the one in the picture on their site. I got in touch with them right away to try and return it, and they did receive it back safely. But now I'm just waiting and waiting for my full refund, which includes import tax of $216.48 and delivery fees of $45. I have no idea how long it's going to take for them to get back to me. Got my girlfriend a pair of boots from Selfridges & Co for Christmas. She's worn them about 5 times and one of the metal hoops where the laces go through snapped. So, I ordered a neom oil diffuser with oils from Selfridges & Co on the 22nd of November. They took the payment from my card in full at the time. However, by the 3rd of December, my oil diffuser had been cancelled by Selfridges with no explanation. The oils had already been dispatched, but what good are they without the diffuser? I was promised a call back by the manager to check stock availability, but that never happened. I was really hoping to give this as a Christmas present to my wife, but now she will be disappointed. I pay ?40 a year for this account, and I have never seen such an incompetent level of service. It's really frustrating when you're trying to do something nice for someone and it all falls apart because of someone else's mistake. I hope Selfridges & Co can improve their service in the future, because this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Selfridges & Co. I placed an order on the 24th of October and was supposed to receive it on the 28th. But then, on the 27th, I got an email saying that they didn't have enough stock and had to cancel my order. They said they'd refund me within 3-5 days.
Well, it's been longer than that and I still haven't gotten my money back. I talked to my bank and they said they can't do anything because the money has already left my account.
I've tried calling Selfridges' Customer Service team five times and sent them five emails, but they haven't responded to any of them. It's frustrating because this whole thing shouldn't have happened in the first place. They shouldn't have taken my money if they didn't have the product.
It's disappointing that Selfridges isn't taking any responsibility for this and isn't doing anything to help me get my money back. It's just a terrible situation all around.

After a while, I noticed that they removed the sale from the website altogether! I was so disappointed. I mean, what kind of customer service is that? It's the worst I've seen in a long time. I really expected more from Selfridges & Co.

I really should have read the reviews before I placed my order with Selfridges & Co. It was my first time ordering from their website, and I even paid for the yearly plus delivery service. I ordered two All Saints shirts in medium size, as I already had one in that size that fit me well. However, when I received the shirts, they seemed a bit too large for me. I decided to return both of them without even wearing them.
To my disappointment, I only received a refund for one of the shirts. Selfridges is refusing to refund the other shirt, claiming that it has been worn. I am certain that I never wore it, and I am now in the process of raising a resolution with PayPal, which I used to pay for my order.
I must say that this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I doubt that I will be ordering from Selfridges again. It's a shame that they don't seem to value their customers, as this could ultimately lead to their downfall. I hope that they learn from their mistakes before it's too late.
