Hello,
My name is Teodor Paul, resident in Scottsdale, Arizona.
I visited the Gas Station on 82nd Street and McDowel Road around 2 pm this afternoon, Sept. 18th 2023. The target was to play lottery and to have a coconut mexican ice.
I gave one $2 winner ticket to the cashier, and 2 tickets for triple twist to be played ( a total of $20).
First of all she asked me "if she can see my ID". My response was "sure, I have an ID but I will have to find it in my wallet".
By checking out, I was told that I have to pay $18.02. I was trying just to help her out with calculus, stating that $20 (played) minus $2 (my winner ticket) + $1.99 (ice cream) will make to $20.02 including taxes.
The cashier exploded to me and told me to get out because I am not friendly. She also kept my $2 winner ticket. The casher has pink colored hair, and She appears to hate foreigners. Yes I have a strong accent, but I am an AMERICAN citizen.
I live 1/2 miles from the gas station, used to buy gas and other groceries there since 2005, I knew a lot of cashiers like Tom, Vega, James, Sherry, and Kayla - never had a conflict with them. Please note that the cashier did not use any words like "thank you" or "please"
Desired outcome: It is up to you how you want to handle it; $2 were stolen from me, been offended just was trying to help and explain to your personnel the elementary algebra
