I’ve been using Shiftsmart for about a week now. The shifts are an easy opportunity to work whenever and wherever is convenient which is beyond helpful when you need something flexible that will actually payout. The app details in the App Store mention getting paid the next day, this doesn’t happen. It does take a few days for them to review the shift from the time you submit your clock out code to the time the money actually hits your account. However, once your shift timecard is reviewed and payment is available, you do have an option of an instant payout for a fee of $1.99. I have just utilized this option and I’m happy to say it really is an instant payout. I gave 4 stars because of how often the app crashes or doesn’t load when you show up for a shift. I’ve had issues with the app not loading and/or taking a long time to load at about half of my shifts. Sometimes it will continuously refresh when I don’t press anything. The most annoying part of it is not being able to submit a help ticket when this happens. I have had success with resolving the issue by closing out the app and restarting my phone as you would do with a pc. It’s nerve wrecking when you are trying to clock in for a shift and it starts doing that almost making you late for the shift. I recommend always showing up early just in case the app starts giving issues to allow time to get through that nonsense. Overall, great opportunity to help out and meet new people! Thank you!

I showed up and arrived on time last night. The app would not let me check in right in front of the CircleK store at 280 N II Route 31, Crystal Lake, IL 60012 so I followed the directions which was right in the app just to check in. I checked in a little far away from the correct location then went back to the store for a code. I prepared to record a video within the app so Shiftsmart would know what the clerk would tell me about a security code. As I was approaching the clerk, I was recording. The clerk said her manager wasn’t there and she didn’t have a code for me. What would you do at that point? I finished recording and sent it to the manager via app. I remembered to ask for her name which is Stephanie in case Shiftsmart support asks me. After I got out of the store, I took a photo of me by the store door and right under the store street address. I also took a selfie, and another video recording within the app. Then later on, I went to a webpage of Shiftsmart and submitted a ticket. I also took a screenshot of the app when it asked for a code and the Apple Maps to show what happened when I was checking in earlier. After many messages sent in the app and tickets submitted, no one responded, and my shift was marked as no show. And I was not compensated for anything. So the clerk can decide whether or not they want to give you a code and Shiftsmart won’t listen to your reports, create a thorough investigation and compensate you for your time at least. Shady.

DO NOT expect that you can pay bills working for Shiftsmart! While there is plenty of work, no problem scheduling work. Seems being paid is the issue. As there does not seem to be all too many humans and not one every responds to messages, while when they is not a red banner stating no available at the moment, try later. AI’s cannot make decisions and if the GPS coordinates are off, don’t plan on being paid. However you will continue to receive “no call / no show” Even working it happens all of the time and you can not appeal to an AI. How can one be upset with a non-human that cannot make decisions… The worst part is no matter how much of a fuss you cause and even if the store managers attempt to contact staff, it will do absolutely no go. Store managers have huge issues with contacting any sort of Shiftsmart staff. There are only a couple accounts that seem to be of interest to Shiftsmart, so they do get a human rep, however they are very over worked and burn-out quick. The app it’s self is not all that great, very slow and glitchy In short sub-par app, when Shiftsmart works it kind of worked. But keep in mind you will not always be paid, regardless of how good of a job you do. Plan on working full-time, expect to be paid for half of that with no recourse. I have waited just about a year to leave this review.

This is a great way to pick up some w mates hours however I’d like to share some feedback.
The app doesn’t always work properly and it’s caused me to click in late and that isn’t fair.
I have received complements from managers and have asked them to supply feedback about my performance however learned they don’t have the option to do this as I do at the end of a shift.
I work very hard for your company and circle K to the brand of both companies advantage - I believe there should be incentives of some kind for those of us who do very good work - location - shift preference or money.
As well I am planning on a trip back home and wanted to do some shifts there - however the app will only show work that is close to me. I was going to schedule my trip around trips to help with my driving expenses . Is there some way shifts could be open that are farther away if you have demonstrated your dependable.
Finally if I drive 10 miles or more for a shift I definitely don’t want dismisses early for doing such a great job lol - I want to find things that need done and there are always things that need done. Gas is too expensive to take shifts and then get dismissed early.
Again thank you very much for the opportunity to serve shift smart and circle K. I believe this innovating type of employment could make dramatic impacts in other fields of employment and the temporary and part time work force. Research would indicate this type of employment is likely to increase so I feel I’m part of something that has growth potential and this is exciting.

Don’t waste your time like I did For NOTHING!
This Company wastes your time! I was lured by an offer for public opinion polling paying $10 an hour, it being an election year they promised they would have plenty of hours etc, the catch…. Attend an unpaid training session and then take a quick quiz! But after jumping through their hoops, I wound up wasting at least five or six hours waiting patiently by my phone for them to text you that a shift is available. After the first week of answering their texts maybe a few minutes after they’d text and the shift always unavailable when i get to the app to accept it, I started getting frustrated and reached out to ask about it and was prodded to keep trying! Make sure your notifications are turned on! So the next week I waited with my phone in my hand the entire time which can be anywhere within a three hour window, But of course there are days that No shift is posted and there are times they notify outside of that time frame, but after being ready to go straight to the app as SOON as I receive the notification, and realizing that the shift is closed as soon as the message arrives, I gave up, i let the app remain active though and for the next two weeks i did still attempt to catch a shift but alas! ITS IMPOSSIBLE! They just string you along! It’s a JOKE that isn’t funny! Hopefully i will save some from spending their precious time trying to chase this SKAM! They unsurprisingly didn’t write me back when I told them I was going to write this review and uninstall their app! They know when the jig is up and when people have been pushed too far! What weasels! Steer CLEAR!
Wasted Time // Fraudulent Business
I had trouble signing up for this. The app glitches. I submitted background, I completed the application questionnaire section where I kept “failing” the test. It finally glitched me over to the home page where I was able to input information about my work history and bank information. I was eventually texted about a job with location and time and request to confirm. I confirmed. Couldn’t make it to the job. Canceled within respected time. When I found out how I emailed them regarding my concerns with not receiving any offers and they told me they haven’t yet received my background check to post. The first time I reached out was on March 19. It is now March 27 and instead of them reaching out to me I emailed them again and now they’re telling me my application is out of compliance. Pardon where I could be confused or frustrated but how much of this run around before I could get to a store to clean it up for just a few hours. Save your time. Just received in email as I was writing this from them telling me I could go ahead and try to reach out through the app. Clearly I’ve tried! Clearly you’re someone PAID to sit and do nothing until it’s time to punch out. Insane how these things work. These companies swear they’re so professional when all they need to be is willing. Too much crap just to a put an extra crumb on the dinner table. Hope to God your company won’t prevail in the nearest future. Enough is enough. Some of us want to actually work for a living! Us people need a lot less crap that gets in the way and much more of businesses/people who are willing to give you a shot if you’re worth their while.
Scam, beware
I just signed up the other day to make some extra money not only did they lie about the hourly rate. Flat out lied. I picked up two shifts at 2 Different Circle K locations. I have worked for Circle K before with a large beverage distribution company and never had a problem with the management or employees..
Both of the shifts that I signed up for said that the time was flexible and that I could start earlier . nope! One shift is 2 PM to 6 PM and the other shift is 6 PM to 10 PM. There is a 25
minute commute to the second location. I tried to change the time but the only thing it would let me do what is let me change the 6 PM start time to 4 PM so that is another big lie. It is not flexible scheduling. I am up at 4 AM every day and I am very flexible to work any shift. Today when I went to look at my schedule, they change the location. To a far away location that will take me three hours to commute to during rush hour traffic. I haven’t even started working for them yet and I’m in counseling this many problems. I want the pay of $17 an hour not the $13 listed at the job. There needs to be more flexibility of the shifts. Right now they are not flexible. Back to back shifts at two different locations is going to cause me to be late. That’s OK there are a lot of other apps that are rated in the top 10 and this is not one of them. How rude of them to change the location.. it was fine when I went to bed last night, but I woke up to seeing a far away location with tolls most merchandising jobs reimburse you when the trips are between stores, and they also by law have to reimburse you for using your own personal cell phone.
Horrible Customer Service team
I’ve recently started using shiftsmart for tech research studies in my area and referred several people to work with them as well. I earned money for 3 of my referrals and then worked my own shift for $40 bonus of $50. After that shift was confirmed as completed I received a message saying that they needed more info (SSN) to continue payments. Every single time I put it in it would glitch out as it loads and pop back up. Emailed payment support and was told a ticket was put in and would hear back from someone within 24hrs.. This was a few days before my payment was supposed to arrive in my account. Heard nothing back so I call customer service and was informed they needed an I.D. uploaded (I was confused by this because the app literally never asked me for an iD when I signed up) sent my I.D. front and back through email and still have heard nothing back. I’ve tried numerous times to put in my ssn but it just will not go through. I have worked a shift and also have several referral payments I’m missing because of this. My thing is that they really need to update the app so that I.D. and Ssn is asked for before you ever even complete a shift. I’m not understanding how I received referral payments but all of a sudden I finally work my shift and can’t receive my money. I feel like they aren’t even trying to help me at all. Why is email support leaving notes on the ticket but not emailing me at all to let me know what’s going on I have to call customer service who is always “experiencing a high call volume” to where they have to call me back an hr or 2 later just to let me know what’s happening. Email support should be fired considering phone customer service is doing a better job than they are.

I have been working with Shiftsmart for a while now. At first I thought this is great! The app has more issues then A Gerry Springer show. You try to check in and it doesn’t work or asks you if it’s sure you want to check in because you are more than 0.1 miles away from where you’re supposed to be when in actuality you are in the store. I went to a job yesterday and was told that they had already had a person from Shiftsmart come into work, that they won one using anyone for that time for a couple of weeks! Also the store told me that they were closing In an hour so a half do to employee shortages. And they didn’t even have codes for me. The codes needed to check in and out. That tells me that there was a screw up on their part!I drove25 miles to get there! I messaged them and explained the situation and they told me that they only pay what they called store turn away once per store. That I wouldn’t receive my 54 dollars nor my 10 dollar bonus was promised for signing up for the shift. It cost me more than 10 bucks in gas and well Thats gone. Every time I worked for them I worked hard for them 4 hours. Cleaning nasty bathrooms, school gas pumps top to bottom, sweeping and mopping floors, doing whatever I was asked to do with a smile and a yes mam or yes sir. I made those bathrooms, cooler doors, gas pumps you name it, it shined! Never mind picking up all the garbage outside when it looked like a garbage truck with a bomb went down! This is how they treat you. If you work for a company and are asked to come in by law they have to pay you for four hours! Look it up. But they said my support ticket is closed and they have No support hotline to call. No person because they don’t want to hear your problems! Beware!
Nice idea, lousy implementation
I'm six hours in over 24 days so far with nothing to show for it but an empty fuel tank.
The app is intolerant of network imperfections. On one instance it showed me a shift, told me it had trouble posting my acceptance, then popped up a message most of an hour later that my shift was about to start. I confirmed, drove and worked though on arrival it showed my schedule as empty with nothing to check into. On my cellular data plan at home it always tells me there's no work, there's nothing on the messages page about work already done and no mention of pay. If I connect it to a major retailer's in-store wifi 17 miles away there's still no work but the messages pane shows my queries (still unanswered) and the payments list shows they plan to refuse payment.
On the shift I took, the manager said she'd received confirmation yesterday that someone was assigned; if that was the case, why was it offered to me today? Similarly, why would a location aware app on a network time synchronized device allow me to accept a shift requiring time travel or teleportation to meet the posted details?
I'm now getting some shifts offered by SMS and they're all of the last-minute variety, one posted the night-before for an early morning shift (you presume I don't sleep?) and another posted same-day for an early morning shift that I couldn't have reached even if I'd been already in the car when the message came through.
Now it's telling me an update is available "that must be installed" while the app store tells me I already have the most recent version.
So far, not impressed. It looks like Shiftsmart will not provide the income that would enable me to upgrade my data plan to one that helps Shiftsmart work better. If you need the money, stay away.
Wont pay
I was out of work for a good month due to covid. When I was able to return to work I got on the Shiftsmart app and picked up some shifts. Needless to say literally every shift I picked up was canceled the night before, so I received a text from a Shiftsmart manager stating there was another opportunity available and would I be able to work the following day. I replied with out hesitation yes, I desperately needed the money. Well it was supposably said by staff members from the job site that I was not located at the training shift, so I went around and spoke with every supervisor asking if they had seen me there the previous day for training. Mysteriously All replied yes, I was then told Shiftsmart wanted confirmation by a supervisor that I was there for this training shift or I would not get paid because I was already being marked as a no show. So I had my supervisor stop what he was doing and stand in front of me and make this call to confirm my attendance, so I knew for a fact he did so. I continually asked day after day if I was going to get paid for that day and I was told over and over yes but never received pay. It’s not a lot of money but after driving over an hour and a half to get to the job and a hour and a half to get home plus the time spent at the job that day, I really needed that $140 cause if I didn’t I wouldn’t have made that drive and used up my last bit of gas to get there and believe me there were plenty of other ways I would have rather of spent my day, but I was doing what i needed to do to make up for time lost. Taking that job in the long run only ended up costing me money, an the way I was treated was very unprofessional and demeaning. To cheat someone of days pay, someone that desperately needed it and went out of their way to make it, is a real low blow.

So I’ve used shift smart multiple times. Once before I got employed for Amazon and when I used it. I was told that I would be paid 100$ for my shift and if I’d like to stay for an extra study they’d pay me 50$ more. I was fine doing so but on completing this task I never received my bonus, nor was it posted on the app. Later on down the line after I left Amazon I took on a two shifts from the app. One I couldn’t confirm but someone called and confirmed for me. The second went smoothly. Upon coming for my first session I went all the way to Manhattan, just to be told that even though I was asked to come down I wouldn’t be needed and that they’d still pay me for my full shift. Because I was coming back the following day for my second shift I was fine with that and just proceeded to go home. When on my way home I noticed that the shift I had did wasn’t posted on the app for the payment I was promised so when I went down for the second shift I spoke to them about it. When I spoke to one of the people they told me that because I didn’t do the study I wouldn’t receive my full payment, but yet again. I was told I would receive my full payment for that shift the day prior. After I filed a complaint to shift smart about not being paid for that shift as well as waiting longer than usual to receive my payment for the second shift they finally paid me the fully amount for my second shift and only 50% of the shift prior. Now I am unable to do anymore shifts on the app due to restrictions because of their mistakes. Honestly I’d probably just recommend going doing to a job tempt agency and letting them find you work. The app for shift smart is low quality and logs you out constantly, it barely works without wifi and the customer service reps are extremely rude. I wouldn’t waste my time if I were you.
Shiftsmart also didn’t pay me my bonus
I also worked for shiftsmart and was not paid my bonus. I worked a couple of shifts when they were shift bonuses of $10-$20 ea(not bad for 4hr shift, an extra $2.50-$4 an hour). One shift I arrived to the store and was unable to clock-in because the shift wasn’t assigned to me for some reason. I called and they clicked me in and I worked about an hour past my 4hr shift becausethe district manager asked me if I could stay and finish merchandising the cooler, I agreed. She also complimented me on my work quality and ethic. When I finished I forgot to clock out until I had been gone about 20 min., I advised them what had happened and assumed I would be paid for actual hrs worked. However, I was only paid for 4 hrs and when I questioned it they said that time I worked over 4hrs was not paid because I should have paid closer attention to the clock, and that any OT needed prior approval from the store manager which I of course didn’t have, and I couldn’t remember the district managers name so they basically accused me of trying to commit time fraud. I never got my bonus for working my first shift before a certain date nor that extra hr. I don’t know if it’s a scam, but they are very disorganized and when you consider that you must pay your own travel e lenses and time to get to store is unpaid, the $13-$15/hr is less than minimum wage in my city, so I stopped taking shifts and didn’t pursue getting paid beyond 3-4 phone calls and e-mails b/c my time is more valuable than chasing $60. That is OF COURSE how these companies get away with it, most people just give up line I did. Nothing good to say about ShiftSmart and if they want to contact me to make it right,they can, my name is Devon Troy Alexander from CO, and they’ve got my contact info! Something is fishy about this setup
So I came across this app while searching online for work-from-home positions in my area. It seemed simple enough, so I set up my initial profile, received a txt with the link to the app and while I was trying to download the app I received a phone call from one of the representatives. He asked me my name and if I would read the script that had been sent to my text thread. I did so, while still trying to download the app. I never quite figured out why but I explained to the rep that I was having trouble downloading the app and could we do the rest of the walk they via desktop. He said no and insisted that I had to have the app, I said ok and we discontinued the call. Well today, I was finally able to download the app! I did so and when prompted I called customer service for my ‘welcome’ orientation. After what seemed like ten minutes on the phone listening to this operator bang on something she tells me that she has a record of me calling yesterday and that she can’t find any notes on me...while I’m waiting for her to find something I am navigating through the app. There are NO SHIFTS, not even the one that initially caught my attention I mentioned this the operator who at which point advises me that I don’t have access because apparently I was turned down for hire. I asked how could that be and she proceeded to explain to me that ‘something that the operator picked up in our call yesterday’ didn’t sit well with him. WTH is that! Normally I am very good at maintaining my composure but this lady kept me in the phone for ten minutes while she pretends to look up my info then after literally banging her fingers and rummaging a few default excuses comes up with that...idk what he ‘picked up’ off of a script reading and my name, but I would strongly caution anyone to their research on this company. Something isn’t quite right
It was awesome…until it wasnt
Started using this app and this company when i found myself wanting to change careers and needing some quick work while i transitioned. At first it was great! Despite a few hiccups here and there it was smooth sailing. Access to pay within hours of shift completion. Im a father of two little ones, VERY little, so being able to pick and choose shifts around daycare and dr.s appointments was phenomenal. But…it soon turned sour. Crappy rude circle k employees and managers making it difficult to complete a task. Stores that were kept in such subpar states it was difficult to even get into their walk in coolers. Shifts randomly disappeared from my schedule no warning no notice, despite having an excellent reliability rating. Started seeing a lot of double booked stores and was turned away from quite a few shifts i was counting on simply because the manager had no work. Essentially wasting my time my gas my money for child care and taking food off of my kids plates in the process. It started taking longer and longer to get my pay. At one point it took over a week to get paid for one four hour shift and when i was finally able to speak to a real human they stated the person processing the paperwork had simply “forgotten” to process mine. There is an abundant lack of support from any representative of shift smart, but best believe if you dont check in right when and where youre supposed to youll be receiving a strongly worded border line insulting tex message from a “scheduling” manager. And now there are so few shifts available within 20 miles of my zipcode that i can barely scrape together enough shifts to make it worth it. Gas is so high its not even worth driving that far out. I dont think these people understand that there is a certain amount of people who completely depend on this work and pay for however long and for whatever reason, and how shiftsmart not holding up their standards completely screws a lot of decent hardworking people.
Shiftsmart is just ok
I’ve been working shifts on Shiftsmart for a couple months now. There isn’t much companies with them, actually very little.
Staff communication is very shotty and you’ll be lucky to get any answers back for your messages.
Companies like Circle K, will not pay you for the training even though it says $50 per training. I’ve talked to numerous workers and none of them have been paid it. Circle K also will make Merchandisers work Cleaning jobs, so it doesn’t matter which one you pick. They are fun to work though, you do get to meet new people etc.
Dynata company is work from home, however they are really really strict. You’re suppose to get a break, however they will message you and hate it when you do take a break, no matter how many hours into your shift you are in. It also says flexible with no minimum, however it is not. And they require you to finish surveys with callers even though most will just hang up. You have to do well over 150 calls an hour, any less and they will complain and send you messages. Dialing landlines, it takes a long time to connect and they blame it on you even though it is their own program. Then they want you to lie and put different dispositions when callers refuse. For example, you have to put not available even if they pick up and say no. You also have to have your own headset to use to call.
The product testing is once in a blue moon. AND they won’t tell you when they overbook too many testers. They always do. They let you drive all that way, and then tell you they’re overbooked. You are suppose to be compensated $40 if they turn you away; however I’ve been turned away multiple times and they’ve only paid the $40 just one time. They have also dropped down their wages as well.
There are users that use some scripts to acquire shifts. For instance, Airspace, immediately when a shift is posted and you immediately click on it, it’s gone. And they rarely post any for it. Someone is taking all of them literally.
Wishy Washy
I have been working with shiftsmart for a couple of months now & have built a good rapport with the managers & employees at the locations I frequent because I often overachieve & do more than my required tasks to intentionally make other shiftsmart employees’ work ethic seem subpar. The jobs are real & I like the flexibility of picking my location & time, however, I’ve had my share of issues that have cause some serious issues in how & when I got paid. I’ve showed up to a shift 30 minutes away from my home before & they didn’t have a clock in code to give me at all as if there was no shift for me to work which was inconvenient because I don’t drive & spent money on transportation to get there. I’ve not been able to clock in/out despite being on the premises & them using your location to track if you’re there. They don’t reference the cameras to see if you showed up & worked the full shift but will go on the word of employees/managers like the simply can’t/won’t lie or rely on the apps clock in/out status with no regard to potential technical difficulties that may come up like an accidental disconnect from Wi-Fi. If you have to change your shift time to a later time last minute, it isn’t immediately reported to the store so they can expect you at the new time & you could potentially be reported as a no call no show even if Yu come & work the whole 4 hours resulting in either not being paid at all or being paid later than the initial 24 hours. With that, You’re not allowed to call the stores to request they clear up any mistakes because it’s against policy for whatever reason. I’m currently contemplating not working for them anymore, even though for the most part I enjoy it, because I worked a shift last night & they reported me as a no show when I just had to push my shift back an hour due to my personal issues taking longer than expected. They say I didn’t sign the attendance sheet but I wasn’t given one because the employee left in charge was new & didn’t know what shiftsmart was, let alone to give it me anything to sign. She also refused to give me the clock out code until I did whatever tasks she didn’t feel like doing, which makes it appear like I stayed overtime & that'll delay payment. My payment wasn’t just delayed/nullified but the whole shift was removed & reported that I didn’t show up. Now they’re trying to penalize me for time falsification when all they have to do is check the cameras. Why would I falsify time when I’d worked a shift that morning for more money than I would’ve made at the shift last night? My issue still hasn’t been fixed & id hate to have to sue because I’m anemic & was in the freezing cold cooler stocking for hours just for them to tell me that I wasn’t there at all. It’s messed up!
I hate airing complaints publicly but…
I have been working with Shiftsmart on a regular basis as my only source of income for a year now. I literally rely on this to pay my rent, other bills, and take care of my young son. I’ve worked hundreds of shifts and maintained a 100% reliability rating until just recently when it dropped slightly because of having to cancel late due to my son getting sick in the middle of the night. Shiftsmart certainly has its issues that can be incredibly frustrating but I’ve managed to make it work for me to make a survivable living wage and I WORK HARD to keep it that way and be considered an asset to the Project(s)/location(s) I work for. A few months ago I was invited to apply for the Guest Care Agent role for a specific company. I applied immediately and my application was approved but was then told they had a large influx of qualified applicants so I’d have to wait until a spot opened up to finish my onboarding. Okay, that’s fine, so I waited. Recently I message management asking if there were any updates on opening positions or when I’d be able to complete my training. In response the onboarding for this role was resumed. I was able to complete the training, get my background check cleared, then I attended a 2 hour UNPAID refresher training since the role had been updated drastically during the time between when the original training videos were released. To do all of this and work the job I had to BUY a new computer that met the requirements needed to run the Five9 software utilized in this role. Again, Okay, that’s fine, I’ll be able to make it up when working for this project. Except, it turns out, I CAN’T. The training states you’ll receive your Login Credentials for FIVE9 within 24 hrs after competing the training though sometimes it can take up to 48hrs. (It also states you’ll receive them before training even begins but I believe this policy to be outdated.) I never received my credentials and when I attended the “refresher course” it was stated by the instructor to message the manager in app and they would send the credentials to me. I messaged the manager right after the meeting ended and waited another 48 hrs but still did not have my login info so I messaged again and was told they don’t know when I’ll get my credentials but someone is “looking into it”. Again I waited for another 48hrs with the thinking that if the training stated 24-48 hrs then that time would start over when I let them know I hadn’t yet received them. I did this 3 times with the only answer being “someone is looking into it. We’ll reach out with any updates but have no estimated timeline for when this issue may be resolved.” After failing to get information or answers from management I sent in a help request to support hoping that maybe they could talk to app management and find out why it’s taking so much longer than stated for my credentials and maybe get it bumped up to be “looked in to” sooner but they stated they can’t help at all, even just to reach out and attempt to advocate on my behalf. I still haven’t gotten a reply from management and haven’t bothered to message them again since it has failed to get the issue resolved or even provide any kind of clarity as to why my credentials are taking so much longer than the expected timeframe. I’ve already lost out on several shift opportunities that I’ve been unable to accept since I don’t have the ability to login to the software. It probably wouldn’t bother me so bad except for the fact that I had to put money out in order to work for this particular role. I spent over $300 getting the necessary equipment and would not have done so if I had known I’d be fighting to get the credentials needed to actually work shifts. I did not and do not have that kind of money to spend but did so believing there would be access to more work opportunities in turn allowing me to make that money up while also providing more chances to increase my earnings. The ONLY reason I am unable to do this is due to waiting for my Five9 Login Credentials. Is there anyone willing to find out what’s holding them up and hopefully get it corrected so I can begin working with this project? I don’t know where else to turn for help with this. I desperately need to be able to work through this project as soon as possible since my sons father is going in for a complicated surgery soon and I have nobody who can be at the house with my son during his recovery. That’s my biggest reason for needing this particular role opened up because I need a way to still have income and be able to work from home during that time in case of an emergency. Please, Please, Please, help me get my credentials situated. Beyond this issue and excluding the poor partner support and typical app glitches, Shiftsmart has great potential and has been a lifesaver for me and my family. I appreciate the work opportunities Shiftsmart offers and have never had a problem with getting paid. If I could just get these login credentials situated I would be happily satisfied with the Shiftsmart app and the partner experience in general. I will gladly update my rating after a timely resolution to this problem.

Working with Circle K
I’m filing this complaint and Hobbes that may be few true people that are looking to work for the company and take a step back and realize they’re never going to reply to any of your request in the app they have two message systems create tickets to support or message directly during your shift. They’ll never reply to you. In my case I worked a shift the app clock me out after one hour I worked a complete shift sent the required documentation to because the clerks never have the check in and check out codes and they do not care if you get it or not.
I don’t understand why a website word app would have an a in help ticket system when they never will get back with you I worked a lot of shifts through Shiftsmart and about once a month you will work a shift that they don’t pay you for

To whoever is wandering if shiftsmart is a cool place to work for, no, you will find yourself trying to prove where you were, and trust me, they know how to work their app, to where you can't send in the pics they tell you to send, you can't open the 'having trouble with shift' they message and tell you to do something, but quickly you see you can't, and it's their ball, always. And noone gives a sh..!
I drove 1.15 hour and fifteen minutes one way in the worst kind of fog,4 in the morning, according to shiftsmart I had no proof. This happened 5 times in a row. And they shove it in your face by telling you how awful you are by giving you a rating.
I was at their shifts for scottsboro on the 29th nov. And ft. Payne dec. The 4th. I have pics to prove this. And I have spoken to the store managers both times.
The times I did work, I feel I did my best and was told by the manager I had done good or manager I had done a good job.

Issues with circle k
I was turned away from a shiftsmart shift today and then I was barred from working another shift with circle k. I reached to support to find out and was not given a reason. I have been doing shiftsmart with circle k for several months now. I am always on time, I always work my full shift, I have never had a complaint against me, my reliability score is 100%. So I am really confused what I did wrong to not be allowed to ever work another circle k store. If a store is gonna continually turn people away than why was the store never removed from the available shifts for that location so no one can pick up the shift instead of banning a person. Shiftsmart refuses to give me a reason after I have ask repeatedly.

Friday I had scheduled a shift, September 8, 2 -6 p.m.I was 5 minutes early,manager turned me away,got no check in codes,right away began messaging on the app that always takes lots of time coming up,as usual,got no reply.
I have done my part,showing up for work,and working.it would seem as though they would appreciate it enough that they would make sure this problem don't come up,or at least pay the workers gas,much less time.

The problem I have with shiftsmart is mostly the shiftsmart support team. When reaching out they don’t address the whole support question then close out the ticket as if it’s complete. So then I’m sending multiple tickets say they can address one issue . Like today I had a shift I was suppose to show up to for 6 but I scheduled a new time but received messages saying I missed my last shift which is not true if I scheduled a new time. So now that will decrease my reliability score. When you be honest about the things the support does. Then the support team blocks you from sending any support messages completely to me this is very malicious. This needs to be addressed. On top of that they wasn’t allowing me see any shifts on my account and they kept my reliability score at the same place for 3 days although I showed up to my shifts on time.

Hello, I done nothing wrong all I did was express the verbal abuse I received from management during my shift. Once Ms. Darla told me that I couldn't contact corporates office about the managers alarming behavior. I wrote back and said I wouldn't contact. Then asked that someone from shift smart needs to address the mangers behavior by reaching out to circle k point of contact When I asked Ms. Darla to forward my greivances to management and supervisor she removed my account. I sent the same message in two locations before she answered because the first email I got back said if it was concerning payment I need to scroll to payment and press need help with this payment. So that's why the message was sent twice on in payment section and one in support section. I wanted to talk to management so they could explain to me about my job responsibilities as a merchandiser. Please fix this issue.

Thursday, August 17th, 2023, - I arrive at the shiftsmart location in Boulder (2995 30th street Boulder Colorado Circle K) at 9:35 AM
My cellphone Data wasn't working when I arrived at the location so I attempted to exhaust all options when it came to signing into the shift. However the manager on sight turned me away sighting dresscode as a problem (which from my knowledge shift smart has no dress code) this led to me bickering with the manager on sight about me sighing and doing my job sends me away being condenseding and very unprofessional. There was a communication barrier but also the rude demeanor and quickness to try and send me away only to sign me on the paper in and out immediately. It is unclear if I'll receive payment despite arriving on sight and attempting to conduct my duties.
Desired outcome: I was hoping to do the full shiftsmart shift without any hiccups but due to the very condescending, rude and unprofessional nature of the managers.
Yes i am a ShiftSmart employee as well and I find quit a few managers and employees will snarl up at me and treat me harshly and rudely for no apparent reason, bc it’s obvious I’m a hard worker. So I feel that what’s happening is the SS workers that do not come in and do what theyre asked to do or they do a poor job. -It reflex on the rest of SS workers, and what’s happening is we’re being prejudged before we ever even check in. It’s not fair either bc I work my butt off.

This is regarding 2 different shifts I did not get paid for and put me on the blocked list because they got a bad review from a circle k store about another partner and Shiftsmart assumed it was me and it wasn't I didn't even work that day in question. Someone from Shiftsmart messaged me and apologized for the inconvenience and said they will take the block off well they did for 1 day then blocked me from getting shifts all together. I did nothing wrong I loved working at these Circle K. What I would like to see accomplished is to get my shifts back at my Surrounding Circle K areas. Desired outcome: pay what you owe, reprimand whoever told you whatever that was a lie, and let me work again. Every circle k I worked with enjoyed my work and effort and some even me to try to accept the shift from that store before anyone else could....

Im have worked for shiftsmart for over a year. After working a shift on 7/14 my account was removed from the platform. I don't know that reason because now I cannot get into my app to access my payment. I have sent several emails and tickets to shiftsmart costumer service and I have not received a response for any of the tickets for over a week to help to access my account so I can receive my pay. I feel that they are trying to keep my pay is the reason why I am not getting any responses. This company has major issues and almost impossible to get ahold of anyone to have any issues resolved.

Employee, I was not paid for being turned away. And was given a cancellation as well, when I never cancelled and showed up to work the shift on time.
I am an employee of Shiftsmart. Today, June 16 2023, I had a 4 hour shift at a Circle K from 11:00am-3:00pm. I arrived on time and ready to work. Upon arrival I was told by manager that I was not needed for the shift and was turned away. Shiftsmart has a "Turn Away Policy", in which if turned away, you are still to be paid. The manager did not present me with log in/log out codes, but said that she would varify that I was there to work on time so that I am paid. She gave me her information and I left. I was then charged with a cancellation and suspended from getting more shifts. Not only should I have not been charged with a cancellation that results in my being penalized for finding more shifts, I also was not credited the pay for the shift. This is my job, and I also have 100% reliability score with the job. This is how I pay my bills and feed my family of 5. This is very unfair and I have not been able to get in contact with any type of customer service from Shiftsmart. I have my shift details and information needed to prove I was there, as well as the manager information that was on shift that turned me away for lack of work for me. I really need this fixed.
Desired outcome: I am entitled to my pay for the shift in a timely manor, since usual payout is 24 hours. I would also like for the cancellation and penalization to be removed from my account so I can continue to work.

I finally have given up. They have the worst customer service ever, and after 3 months it’s clear I will not be paid for my shift. They try to wear you down so you’ll give up, constantly sending you to a different department. Please save yourself and do not download this app. It is not worth the aggravation and you most likely will be working for free!
