Shred-It, a Stericycle Company Stericycle is absolute garbage

Stericycle is absolute garbage. They have been double billing the same account for the company I work for over the last year. We have had several issues with missed pickups and it takes me at minimum, an entire week of countless calls and emails every day to get ahold of anyone. And then, they charge us for an additional pickup even though they are at fault for missing the pickup! There is never a supervisor available, EVER. I am always promised that I will receive a call back within 48 hours and then the only communication I receive is an email telling me that my case has been resolved and closed, without ever speaking to anyone! Avoid this company at all costs. No one knows what they are doing there and no one is able to thoroughly understand the issues that you are calling about. This is hands down the worst vendor I have ever had to deal with. Look at their rating. There are so many other options.

Recommendation: Go with any other company.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company They DO NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR!

They DO NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR! This is the worst company out there. We had a one time shred scheduled and a contract but now 7 months later we are still fighting over the inaccurate *** and overbilling. Isn't a federal offence to constantly send overbilling invoices to a client? WE have a contract and they continue to come up with reasons why they cannot fix this. I am done being nice with this company and their HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT TEAM. How about a class action lawsuit? I am sure several of the complainants on this page alone would love to join us!? We were told that our invoice on July 10, 2022 for $2101.00 (even though we felt is was a bit high due to "fuel surcharges") was finally corrected so we paid it in full - that means a zero balance but today, August 12, 2022 we received an invoice for $4344.68 nothing about this makes sense. They have tried to schedule more pick *** tried to get us to sign a new contract, they constantly harass us with incorrect invoices even though our business has closed and we are no longer at that location...enough is enough. Time to contact the

It is unimaginable how each and every review has the same response from Shred it. No one is monitoring these complaints and the complaints all have a common theme. Poor customer service, inconsistent billing issues and poor follow through. I had the same experience as all the reviews from someone who's signature said they were an *** Specialist, Retention, North America. There was definitely no regard for retention. His exact words were that I was "spewing negativity". I guess negativity is the category we are all put in when we have a billing issue or can't pay on line. He was the opposite of helpful. I think everyone has figured out how to live without their services.

Major issues with their billing and payment application. We made a credit card payment for invoices directly on our online account, but the next bill we received showed we were in past due status. After logging into our account, the invoices were open again, but we have the credit card charge on our statement. We contacted customer service and sent them the payment support, but still havent heard a response for over a month after repeated attempts to contact them. Do not use this company! This company will either never respond or run you in circles without any resolution.

Terrible service! No communication at all and I would not recommend this company for document shredding services. I do want to add that their driver's are very professional and courteous. Too bad the rest of the service is so poor.

I feel frustrated that leaving a review on the Complaintsboard.com seems to be the only way to actually provide feedback. The lack of professionalism, consideration, and basic concern or care is outstanding. After 3 no shows to have our site serviced and numerous times on the phone with them, they have failed yet again to do the work they are contracted to. There has been zero communication or effort on their part to inform us they need to reschedule or cancel their service on a day. Customer support does not actually listen to what we need and we have been swimming in bins of paperwork that need to be shredded for over a month now. My experience with this company tells me that they have organizational issues well beyond a company that I can tolerate. If this wasn't a corporate contract, I would quickly use another service. I feel a gapping hole in trust and accountability. I feel somewhat sad that writing this, likely little will change. I feel gross that I'm paying a company to be treated like this. CEO, I hope you read this and hire an OD (organizational development) expert. Please, spend the resources to get your company back on track.

I have been trying to receive services for 4 months now! After speaking to countless account managers who promised to call me back with a solution I got sick of wasting my time and then tried to cancel my service with them and even that is taking forever! This company is a disaster!

This company has absolutely horrible customer service. They give you a quote, which is vague about what the actual charges are going to be, and then when you ask them to help you understand the charges they just ignore you. We had a scheduled appointment, which they missed and didn't tell us that they were not coming. It took nearly a week to find out that they rescheduled... without informing us. Then when you attempt to contact them, they don't even respond to emails. It became clear that the emails were received when I got an automated response from one of them that they were out of the office that day. The people working for and running this company do not care, and have no interest in retaining customers. This place is a total joke

I wish I could give this business a zero star. The person who lured me into obtaining service made it sound like it was such a good company. Service is poor: they would not pick up on the day they were suppose to. They also came and said our office door was locked. When this happened the 2nd time, I even placed a sign on the door, "We are waiting for you Shred-it, and our phone number" again, they said our door was locked. When you call the customer service you get nothing resolved. They charged me for the pickups that never occurred. When I called again today, they said one of the pickups is in the process of being credited. I asked to terminate service. They said I would have to pay $900+ in early termination fees. I am so upset. Do not sign up for service with this company. I spoke to a customer representative this morning and he said they would resolve my issues. However now, I need to document every phone call and poor service that occurs! I do have more important things to do than to keep logs of poor service of supposedly professional companies.

We have been trying to speak to an account representative and not just a call center for months. Literally, months. They've given us two different names to reach out to, no contact when we've reached out, ends *** in the call center. We were told our *** were not correct, by their call center, but they couldn't get them straightened out because they had a new billing system. We finally paid them to get back to ground zero and terminate our account. They won't call us to let us terminate our account. We sent an email requesting to terminate our account, to our supposed account rep, and a return message stated that terminating will cost us over $4k when a customer rep the day before said $193 even tho we were told by yet another customer rep that we were not under a contract. This company is dishonest and beyond the level of disaster. Like the previous review, the company always provides the customer service number to reach out to and bless their hearts, they don't make the decisions and they can't help. Just awful.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company I contracted for two pallets of documents to be shredded

I contracted for two pallets of documents to be shredded. They never showed on the day they were scheduled. I called and got a reschedule. 30 days later I get a *** that had $126 fuel surcharge on it along with a $24 environmental surcharge. Neither of these charges were discussed with the quote. This company is 20 miles away and were in the area already as they were late to the appointment. The fuel surcharge is to make up for the higher price of gas but in this case paid for 31 gallons. Talked to a customer service rep and got a run around and was told to go the web page and read about the surcharges. Sure enough they have a chart with fuel surcharges. Minimum surcharge is 2.5% if fuel is between $0.00-$2.33. Yep, if gas cost nothing you would still get charged. Maximum for offsite is ***%. This is just a way to charge more and disguise it as a fuel surcharge. Terrible business practice. Shred-it you need not respond with your canned response about escalating to your customer service team as you obviously have no customer service and I wouldn't waste another 20 minutes on hold to get some more BS from your unprofessional reps.

I have been double billed every month since the spring. Can not get the issued resolved. Just saw on a recent statements excessive surcharges costing more than 50% of the pickup charge. ridiculous. stay clear from shred it and Stericycle both nightmares to try to deal with!

I have called on 5 different occasions this year alone (2022) due to billing issues with this company. After navigating *** and getting to a live person it's not uncommon to have the call drop. When I get lucky enough to talk to someone they tell me to disregard the late notices and the billing issues have been resolved. Constant problems like this are a leadership issue and it's time for me to start shopping for a new provider.

We were billed for services we never received. They were supposed to come and pick up our documents, however no one ever came. How in the world, can you send an invoice for and the services were never performed. I called my contact at Shred It, however I always got her answering service. This has to be illegal... I called customer service and they told me a credit should be issued within a day or 2. This has to be illegal... as I see a string of other complaints below.

My car was sideswiped by a shred it truck. They did not stop. There was damage to my car. I reported it to the company but they couldnt find any damage to any of their trucks or any alerts that would have signaled contact with a vehicle or any object. Dont know what my alternative would be. They didnt take a look at my car. The gentleman that took my information was very nice so I had to leave a one star.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company We've been customers for about 20 years

We've been customers for about 20 years. They've come every Thursday to pickup our confidential shred- with no problems until the beginning of 2021. They stopped coming regularly... I called and found out they switched our dates to Fridays- without telling us. We've never been open on a Friday, so I called to get our date back to Thursday. I have called dozens of times- and spoke to someone who tells me every time that they *promise this timeto have it switched, and it's never happened. They still charged us for the all of the days they came when we weren't here. Even though the invoice says "cannot access waste". I've also had a special request since October for a special file shred pickup- with a signed contract for it... and they've still never come. I've also called numerous times and spoke to different representatives about it, "managers", etc, all stating that they'd have this figured out or promised that someone would reach out. I heard they switched systems last year, and that is when all of these issues started happening. It's comical at this point. After about a year of this, and a very very full Shred bin, we're leaving them.

Driver is not pleasant. Internal communication is more the underwhelming and customer service seems to be a low priority objective. Disappointed as we have 6 locations that have been serviced for years through Shred it.

Since Stericycle purchased shred-it the company has gone to complete [censored]. Not only is the billing department a complete mess the scheduling department was even worse, they miss-billed my account on numerous occasions and then proceeded to have a different employee call me for a year straight to try to collet the fraudulent charges. Please do *** business a favor and do not hire this company for shredding services, hire a local family owned one instead.

Horrible customer service. Three days and 6 phone calls and I still can't get a customer service rep that can help me change my level of service. They delivered a console with a broken lock. I've been unable to get that lock fixed despite repeated calls. I've been promised a new contract - it never came, I've been transferred to nothingness - twice. Wondering how they stay in business.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company Been with this company for a long time with no issues, they recently changed up their billing process and they can't get it straight

Been with this company for a long time with no issues, they recently changed up their billing process and they can't get it straight. I show them statements where I have made timely (recurring scheduled) payments and all I get is circle talk and additional bills showing that I've made missed payments. I've asked for my services to be canceled but I can't get anyone to do that either. Send numerous cancellation emails and no one will respond and they don't pick up the phone. Funny that this is the only way to get a guaranteed response since they get many of these daily. Unfortunately all they'll do is send their standard response then do nothing and expect me to try to call them and get back in the vicious circle. It's no coincidence that they have a *** rating...luckily for them you can't leave zero stars.Can't wait to get this response...Hi ***, and thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. Shred-It, a Stericycle Company I will NEVER, EVER do business with this company again

I will NEVER, EVER do business with this company again. Negative stars should be an option. A complete nightmare from start to finish. I spent hours on the phone tracking the truck down for a one time scheduled pick up. Was hung up multiple times then finally told me there was a glitch with their system and my appt was removed from the calendar but they could "accommodate" me in a few hours. This was at a storage facility and I had *** junk coming to take the cabinets after the shredding truck. I had to empty all of the cabinets (because *** junk showed up on time) and then load the shred it truck when they came. That's just the beginning. Then I started receiving collection calls and emails on a *** I never got. It was addressed to the wrong place and listed the wrong pick up address. I had to laugh when their invoice email said "reply to this email with questions" and the email address is "do not reply." Once I actually got a real response, almost a year later, with the correct address and location, I asked for an 1-9 to pay the ***. Well, that was about 5 collection notices ago so I bit the bullet and paid it by cc. This company should NOT be allowed to continue business. Horrible everything!

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company ****BEWARE*** I would never recommend this business to anyone

BEWARE*** I would never recommend this business to anyone. I was given an initial quote for onsite shredding and a week window to have the job completed. I was on vacation the week I planned so I could be flexible. I had to call almost daily leading up to the week requested because they never scheduled the appointment until the Friday before the week window. Of course the appointment wasn't during the week requested. Then magically it changed after calling several more times. The truck shows up to find out its not on-site shredding but a box truck to haul my stuff away. The driver talked about how he had 3 other stops that day. They take my stuff and then no receipt. I have call the company again as now I do not know what I am getting charged. I am told an invoice will be emailed. The best part is I get the invoice to find a fuel surcharge of $179.28 that was never mentioned anywhere in the process. If all four of the appointments were charged that day, that it is $717.16 in just fuel surcharges. This is absolutely absurd. That is 152 gallons of fuel for a truck that maybe holds 75 gallons. I wish I would have came on this site before as it is very apparent I would not have used your disgrace of a business.

I have been having issues with Shred - It from day one. Then I had a supervisor who told me to call her directly which didn't last long as she didn't work there anymore. I have cancelled my service for regular pick up for at least a year. I received a call and it was the Shred It guy who called and said that he was in my area and was wondering if I was at the office. I let him know that I was not as I am at my home office more than anything due to COVID. I have two bills now from Shred it and have had no service at my office. I talk to customer service AGAIN and they say that I am being charged because the freeze I had on the account where they don't come out to my office lifted. Then they ask me if I would like to freeze my account again. I told them no and that I am not dealing with this anymore, its very frustrating having to call and be on hold for 30 min to 1 hour. How can a company actually charge someone for a service that was not done, twice? So now I have cancelled the service and waiting for a supervisor to call me. Oh, they will also be charging $75 to pick up the container as well. This business went downhill especially since the merge with Stericycle and the customer service is awful. Nobody actually wants to help, they just want you to wait on hold and charge you for services that didn't happen.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company I used Shred-it for my business for many years, but when the company downsized and we didn't need as many pick-**** we terminated our account

I used Shred-it for my business for many years, but when the company downsized and we didn't need as many pick-*** we terminated our account with Shred-it. The price was just too high for only getting a service every other month. Turns out, when Shred-it cancels your account, they don't cancel it from all of their programs/systems. Every time I called to make sure my account was cancelled, the main account would show up as terminated, but the account on their "scheduler" was still open. I was told this was a system error and they would take care of it. However, the "Scheduler" kept our account open, and would send a truck to complete a pic-up. But, the service technician would never come into the building, would sit in his truck, label our account as "service refused" and drive to his next jobsite. Every time this would happen, they would charge our account that I had been told numerous times. When I would see a new bill, I would call and get the same answer: "it is a system error, I will take the charge off and make sure your account is fully terminated". Every single person I talked to lied to me over the phone. Now the Shred-it has sent me to collections on an overdue balance on my TERMINATED account after over 14 months of the original termination date.Do NOT trust this business. I am disgusted by their shady business practices. I would leave zero stars if I could.

Actually, I should not even give one star. My issues started back in September our service somehow got changed in the new computer system merge from every two weeks to call to schedule a pick up. And that is funny... Have you ever tried to contact them? Don't waste your time! After many countless hours on the phone with "customer service", being told that I would be contacted via email or phone setting up my time for pick up... I am sorry, but my time is valuable and I am so tired of the run around that this company gives to its customers! In December , I finally got to speak with someone after being on hold for well over an hour; told them that I was cancelling my service, and I thought that was done, was told that I would be contacted and that someone would be picking up my shred bins. So after waiting from mid-December to January 19...we at the office are tired of trying work around these bins, I sent several emails to any contact that was listed on Shred It page. I finally spoke with someone in the financial office and was told that my cancellation was actually not completed and apparently it takes someone in that office to finalize my cancellation (which was news to me). After "finalizing" my cancellation, I am told it could take up to 2 week for them to pick up my shred bins but "someone" will contact me to schedule it...I am still waiting on that phone call or email! This company is a JOKE, poorly run! I am thinking that maybe I should charge them for storage for their abandoned property in my office!

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company WORST COMPANY I've ever dealt with!

WORST COMPANY I've ever dealt with!I contracted on June 21 to have old legal files shredded with the stipulation that it be done by July 11 (today), as I am moving across the state on July 12 (tomorrow). I can't leave the boxes here, of course, and don't have room to move them. After signing the contract, I was supposed to get a call within a few days to schedule pick-up within a few days thereafter. No call. Over the last few weeks I have emailed and /or talked to customer service ten times, as it was simply never scheduled. Each time the Shred-it representative assured me that, while their local shredder didn't answer their call, they left a message and the local shredder would contact me. Each time no one called me. I am on my last day of packing for tomorrow's move and customer service just told me they can't reach their local shredder, and can't tell me who that is or give me their number or address to find out if and what time today they will be here to pick up documents -- Just that "sometime today," they will come. My customer page indicates in one spot that I'm scheduled for today and in another spot says I have no pending pick-up.Just now they put me on hold for a half hour, then disconnected my call.I see their response on all complaints is, "Hi ***, and thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience and have escalated this with our customer service team to look into. If you have further issues or concerns, please contact us at customer-*** or 800-69-SHRED." Interesting response for a company whose customer service simply hangs up.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company A Dissatisfied Customer: This is the WORST service I've ever encountered

A Dissatisfied Customer: This is the WORST service I've ever encountered. We've been a customer for about 10 years. For the past 6 months, they keep missing our regular service and messing up our special pick-ups. The company tries its best but cannot help. Always calls the dispatcher and keeps rescheduling us for the following week. Then they don't show up, always with a reason. Driver shortage, driver's personal issue, system misprinted the ticket or simply no show, admits to the mistake but doesn't do anything. Reschedules for the next week - then no show again. It's a vicious cycle. In the last six months, they messed up more than 10 times already. No calls from the branch explaining, no emails, no communication. You leave them a message, silence, nothing. Poor call center, getting the brunt of the angry, frustrated customers. They gave me so many reference numbers and they are worthless! One driver was not properly trained or just lacks common sense. They come to the dock and took a picture of the empty security desk. Did not see the sign to go upstairs. Did not call the building office, did not call the customer to say they are here, and left. There were signs everywhere, so needless to say he didn't pick up. Oh and watch out for this, they will charge you even if they didn't pick up. You have to call them and request for credit. You cannot get a hold of the branch manager, you cannot file a complaint on their website. You cannot do anything. I called sales today and got a live person but he can't do anything. I just want a manager's name and number so they can do something. It's not their fault but all their hands are tied. Management is a disaster! The service is a disaster! No one from this company can help. I mean NO ONE. New Customers to be: DON'T use Shred-it! Use another company!

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company Save your Money and Time use someone else they are horrible!

Save your Money and Time use someone else they are horrible! I contacted them on June 22 to have Office Files shredded we are moving offices and don't want to take files unnecessarily. We went back and forth with the Sales rep *** about the Contract since the basic information was not correct which was all explained in the initial phone call. This went on for two weeks on July 7 I received a Voided Contract email and had to reach out to the Sales Rep and ask if we were going to get a new contract or did, I need to look elsewhere? In this email, I listed all the information correctly, which was what we had discussed 2 weeks prior to the email. We received the updated contract on July 7th and returned it on July 8th The next day we received information to set up billing which was once again not discussed during any of the calls with the Sales Rep, they wouldnt *** us they wanted us to set up the account with a Credit Card or place a draw on our Bank account. I called *** and was told that I would not be able to schedule anything until we set up the account which we did, once I was able to use a company Credit Card. The conversation with the Sales Rep and the emails someone was to call me about setting an appointment for delivery and Pick-up. Imagine my surprise when I received an email this morning stating when the Bins would be delivered on July 21st with pick up two weeks later. I call *** this morning spoke with ***, who was absolutely no help, I requested a Supervisor call and was told he wouldnt be in until 10am 6 hours later no call from ***. I called again at 2:45 and spoke with *** who informed me that she really could not help me change anything, she would have to contact the local company, she had to change our office hours (which I had never given them) to meet our available assured me that she will process my request I am now waiting for a call or email confirmation Im not holding my breath.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company They have not been to our facility since 6/10/2022

They have not been to our facility since 6/10/2022. We have called them repeatedly to get service, and they keep just not showing up. I called them on 6/24/22 when they didnt show up. He spoke to a representative that said she would credit our service charge for that missed pick up and provided a reference #. Then she said she would put in a service call for the missed services, and provided a different reference #. I called on 7/08/2022 to ensure we were receiving pick up (it was 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon) and that our credit was on our account. The credit hadnt been processed, and we were scheduled for pickup but unfortunately, they were not going to make it out. It was agreed that the entire balance of the 24th for the buildings was credited, and we would receive credit for the missed service on the 8th. That reference number was provided. I phoned Shred It on the 15th to ensure the credits have been posted to the account. They had not. Reference number, still the same number as before. I asked that our service change from Fridays to Wednesdays moving forward effective 7/20/22. She said she changed the date of our services moving forward and will pick up any additional shredding we have at no cost due to missed services. A reference number was provided. I phoned Shred It today when they failed to show up again. She stated that they were unable to come today or tomorrow but would be out on Friday, July 22nd, as our regular service. I asked to speak with her manager. She put me on hold for 10 minutes, then said her manager was unavailable. I asked her to transfer or provide me the information to contact the local office. She refused that contact information, and I insisted on remaining on hold to speak with her manager. After 50 minutes, she returned to the line, said that no one was available, and they would call me or email me back. Information. She said, Have a nice day. And hung up on me. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! TERRIBLE ***!

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company If I could give this company less than one star I would

If I could give this company less than one star I would. I booked them because they said they could shred on site. When the person arrived he did not have the correct truck to onsite shred, but he came in to give me an estimate for what was to be shredded. I received an invoice for the estimate and was advised to call and schedule another day for shredding. After several phone calls (their auto calling system is terrible-hangs up on you) I managed to schedule a day for on site shredding. The men arrived on the day with the correct truck and everything was shredded in October. I paid in November and believed that was the end of the service. I then began receiving calls in January about an overdue balance and I didn't know what that was about seeing as I paid in full. I called and spoke with a representative who told me the company switched to a new billing system and that the account with the past due balance was in fact an account that needed to have been deleted. This was the account that the estimate had been made on but no services were provided. I also was told that I would receive a call confirming this within 24 hours. I received a call on the same day from a customer service rep stating the matter was closed, the account with the balance had been deleted in the system and that the account with the paid balance was up to date. In March I received a phone call and an invoice in the mail about a past due balance for an account I was told had been deleted. I called customer service immediately to investigate the matter and asked that it be escalated to a supervisor. The agent assured me that the matter was being addressed and even gave me a reference number. I then received 2 emails, with a phone call, and another invoice in the mail all in the same week in April. Same thing happened in May and today. I do hope the Complaintsboard.com will assist me in stopping the harassing calls, email, and mail coming from this company. I have paid in full as of 11.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company This has been the most frustrating experience

This has been the most frustrating experience. I called into a sales rep and signed an agreement for them to come out, I told the rep that I need TWO WEEKS to give my employees time to get their shred together. She says ok, the location will reach out to you to schedule that but I will put a note. Just under a week goes by and I hear NOTHING back from them about scheduling. They just SHOW UP. No notice whatsoever. We tell them we are not ready for them at all and they will have to come back. I call in to discuss what happened. Am told AGAIN they will get back to me regarding scheduling, hear nothing AGAIN, decide to call in and am told that I am scheduled for TOMORROW. Shred it was going to show up again, unannounced. I told them that is not ok, I need two weeks. I FINALLY get scheduled for two weeks out. Notify my employees of the date. Everything seems finally fine. Well the day comes and goes and NO ONE SHOWS UP. I call and they tell me they did not have us scheduled for that day. I get transferred 5 times to 5 different people that all say they have no clue why I was transferred to them and I need to get sent to someone else. One person said there is no record of my scheduling, another person said there was. No one knows anything. This started in November, it is now January and still no one has picked up the shred, my sales person wont answer my calls or return my messages AND I just received an invoice in the mail! The audacity this company has. I have no clue how they are still in business. I am beyond frustrated and by the looks of it, other people are too. To add insult to that all... All I see is the business responding saying the same thing "We are sorry to hear about your experience and have escalated this with our customer service team". I doubt anything happens since they don't ask for any account information from the people, its all just to look like they are trying. I bet I am going to receive the exact same message under my post because they didn't even bother to read my complaint.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company We amended our contract (attached) with Shred-it as of 12/15, to reduce the services

We amended our contract (attached) with Shred-it as of 12/15, to reduce the services. This reduction brought our bills to $199.90 per month for 2 bins (3rd was confirmed removed 1-7-2022 (attached)). After the contract update, the billing department continued to charge incorrectly. We reached out numerous times over many months to get it corrected, Customer Support and Account represensatives attemped to help and never disputed that incorrectly billed prices were accutate (email attached). We initially held off on paying until we were billed correctly, then later paid the amounts that were contractually due. We are still receiving notices of collections even after all our attempts to have invoices corrected. I have reached out via certified mail and email asking for someone to explain why they keep billing incorrectly, I have never received a response to date. In August 2022 we cancelled this horrible service, their representative agreed Shred-it was in breach of contract and early termination fees were waived. We were incorrectly billed for this remove invoice as well (attached, *** show what should have been billed per contract and cancellation call with Shred-it rep). We would like Shred-it to correct the error in their billing and credit all remaining incorrect amounts showing due. We have paid all contractal outstanding amounts and our account should be closed.

About a year ago I contacted Shredit to set up a one time home shredding service. I spoke with a rep who said I needed to provide a credit card number, which seemed odd vs paying after the service was completed. Despite my hesitation I provided the info. I was told someone would reach out to schedule the pickup. A month or so went by and no one ever called, no service was performed, yet my credit card was billed! I immediately called customer service and was informed there were known billing issues and was assured the issue would be resolved. I chose not to continue doing business with this company going forward. Today, about a year later, I received an email saying I may not have been invoiced for past services (which were never performed) and to log into my account (which should have been closed) to pay. I am stunned by the continued poor record keeping of this company. When I spoke with the agent they acknowledged no record of scheduled pickup of shredding, and no record or signature confirming pickup because it never took place! This is a nuisance and is unacceptable.

We received a charge on our account on 11/10/22 for a "remove site shredding container" of $68.69 The container was picked up on 9/2/22 and our account was closed, so we should not have this bill.I called Shred-it on 12/2/22 and they set up a dispute ticket. We heard back that we should be charged for this invoice of $68.69 even though nothing was performed on 11/10/22.We submitted a signed form on 6/3/22 that we were not auto renewing our agreement that was to begin on 9/12/22 so the last date of service was 9/2/22. They were not authorized to continue to our service past 9/12/22

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company Initiated search for new disposal services and Medical Waste management

Initiated the search for new disposal services and Medical Waste management. Contacted Shred It, spoke to a salesperson. This individual assured us that we would have a unified service with Shred it and Stericycle, which was misleading, as they are two separate entities. After signing, attempts to contact the salesperson about the website setup for pickups went unanswered. The agreement was signed on 7/13/22, but the account representative has been unreachable since. Multiple emails were sent without response. Struggles with online account setup continued, with no return communication from the rep. Reached out to Stericycle for customer service assistance and online access, only to receive incorrect bins. Stericycle's contract was for $133.25 monthly, but the first bill amounted to $266.50. Despite efforts to resolve this, another identical invoice arrived. The transition has been far from smooth, with the company showing a lack of customer engagement. Post-agreement support is non-existent, suggesting a commission-driven sales model with no actual customer service. The experience has been fraught with poor service and communication, a stark contrast to what was promised. A resolution is sought from a representative who can address these issues, ideally someone overseeing both entities now that they are affiliated.

is horrible. I have to call them every month about incorrect invoices, I am billed for additional collection consoles that I don't have. They pick up from my site whenever they feel like it, even though my contract is once a month. The last billing issue I had took over 6 months for them to resolve. Overall terrible company.

I have been making complaints to the company since at least April 2022. They keep calling me to do collections, reflecting a balance on my account. Then they say they correct the over billing and then they say it takes 1-2 billing cycles for the credits to apply, then they tell me that my payments are amounts i did not pay and they do not show my actual payments. I would like to speak with someone that actually has approval authority to clear this up. I also feel i should be compensated as I lose $300 per hour everytime i have to deal with this, and this is the 3rd time since April. This company should be audited as their accounting is simply wrong. In the past before Stericycle took over, i just had the shredder service, got a bill, and then i paid it, it was $38.50 everyother month like clock work. now the pick up dates change all the time, they were here last week and its supposed to be 8 weeks, but they have it that they are coming 2x in one month. this system is so terrible now. Please fix it, and fix my account.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company Shredit continues to overbill us, according to our contract

Shredit continues to overbill us, according to our contract. We have been billed for services NOT PROVIDED AND OVERBILLED for them, at that! They billed us THREE times for one pick-up. Now they continue to harass us with collection notices for the overbilled amount that was supposed to be credited back on 2/10/22! I have sent them a reference number for the phone call I had with one of their representatives stating the credit would be posted. They even admit that they SEE the credit; however, they keep saying, "we see the credit sitting here, just give it *** days to post to your account." Well, it's been SIX MONTHS of continuous phone calls and emails and sending documentation to them. I have had numerous phone calls (where I am on hold for sometimes over an hour!) and had correspondence with them ELEVEN times, always with the promise that it was going to be fixed; and they STILL harass me with collection statements! I have reached out to our customer service rep and he promises it will be fixed, with no success! I even sent them an email AND sent a certified return receipt letter (that I still have not received back) telling them we are breaking our contract with them due to THEIR lack of customer service! I am at my wits end. I don't know what to do! I don't know if you can do anything about it, but I just wanted them to be put on notice and for other potential clients to know what horrible customer service they have.

We have been receiving a harassing amount of emails requesting payment for invoices past due. Our company is ECC and we are receiving statements for *** Company and Diversified Radiology as well as statements that we have already paid. I have reached out to contacts at Shred-it on several occasions and have still not seen results. We are demanding that they cease and desist contact.

In March, *** contacted Shred-It to cancel our services with them. We were not getting the service we expected and they became very expensive. We were told that we would have to pay half of a five-year contract that was signed by an unauthorized individual at the store. We tried to work with Shred-It to get the price affordable. The price was to be $128 per pickup every 8 weeks, now they are charging an additional $44.18 in Surcharges. I do not believe that this is a legal business practice as this is an unapproved amendment to the agreement. I am quite ***et that a nationwide business could target small businesses in this manner. We want to cancel our service with Shred-IT/ aka Stericyle because their service pick-*** are inconsistent, the customer service telephone lines are extremely frustrating and long, they increased the prices via fuel surcharges that are not consistent with the market standard.

We have been trying to resolve an accounting issue since April 2022 with no resolution.Shred-it has failed to credit over $1,000 of payments to our account. The last time one of our payments was correctly credited was in August . Payments since then have not been applied to our account. We have sent copies of the canceled checks to Customer Relations multiple times showing Shred-it received our payments. But nobody responds or fixes the accounting issue. Instead, we get automated threats from their collections department for non-payment from an email address that does not accept replies.I am so frustrated. The customer *** is useless. Please have someone contact me that is senior enough that they can resolve the issue.!

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company We have been a customer of Shred-it since early 2011

We have been a customer of Shred-it since early 2011. The last 3 years Shred-it's customer service and accounting practices have been disturbing. Shred-It continues to communicate to us each October that we have a unpaid invoice from the a previous year that suddenly shows up on our account. We have always been an Auto pay account (since 2011) therefore we trust that our bills are being paid on time and appropriately by Shred-It. In addition our invoices are mailed to us each month showing the auto payment on our account however, when we send this information to them they come up with an invoice that suddenly shows up on our account from the prior year. It is extremely time consuming to go back to prior years and address an issue that should have been resolved within the year of service or listed on our account. Furthermore, to remember the details of what happened a year ago, why we were never invoiced or why Shred-It did not apply payment is extremely frustrating. In the past we have been able to discuss these issues with a customer service representative or account manager however, that also has resulted in unresolved issues or emails that never address the customers issues or frustrations. Today I visited my Shred-It online account to obtain information on my account services and contract however this information was not available. I would like to cancel all services with Shred-It but after reading others issues in trying to cancel, I don't have a good feeling.

Our business has not used Shred-It (a Stericycle Solution) for paper shredding since 2016. We continue to receive invoices for recent attempted pick *** however. When we call Shred-It, after receiving each invoice they state an attempt was made to pick up but there was no bin in which to pick up. We respond by saying no one from Shred-It entered out business to attempt a pick up and we have not used the service since 2016. Today, 10/24/2022, we received a collection notice from a 3rd party. Prior to today, our last call to Shred-It in August 2022 we were advised nothing was due, they don't see an open invoice. We called the collection agency and they advised they could not do anything. They have been invoicing us since 2020 and we have contacted them no less than 8 times about this. I called Shred-It today, 10/24/2022 and they advised we have nothing due still and don't know why we get a collection notice. I am at a loss for what else to do. Shred-It never follows up from previous call and cases we have opened and now we have been turned over to a collection agency.

This all started back in August 2022 I called for 6 shredding bins and I did recieve them after a long wait and things were fine they would pickup bins twice a week for 6 weeks and I called them to say I was done and they never came to pick up bins so after several phone calls I spoke to someone who told me that I signed a 5 year contract. That is crazy because when I ordered these bins I told the fella that we were moving in a few months and I had alot of shredding to do.I need your help bins are still here.

Our office has been trying to cancel our membership with Shred It since March due to mandatory lockdown due to COVID-19. On multiple occasions (ref# ***, ref# ***, ref# ***, ref# ***) we have attempted to cancel the membership and were ultimately told we could only suspend the membership till it's termination date THEN cancel the membership. When our agreement was up on August 24th, 2022, we were unaware that we were auto-renewed for an additional 5 years with the company. We were not notified of this auto-renewal and wanted to sort the discrepancy out with the company. However, every time we called in, we were met with the same few excuses; you have to speak with an account specialist who are unreachable due to hold times or dropped calls, your cancellation is already underway, your membership has been auto-renewed for 5 years and there is an early termination fee of $1500 due. The original contract was signed by a previous employee (no longer with the company) and no physical or electronic contract was provided. We seek cancelation of our membership void of the early termination fee and no further contact with the company since we've had such a poor experience with them.

I contracted Shred it on oct 7 for my month pickup, They never showed up. I called the next week, and was told I was wrong and the pickup was actually a window so they have between the ***th to pick it up. They never did. I call their support line spoke to *** and he promised me a pickup today 10/28 it never happened so now they haven't showed up 3 times, I asked for a cancellation of the contract and they told me they would give me a free bankers box instead. the customer service agent blamed me for waking his kids up at night, and told me he refuses to help. The Truck came to the hotel and left without doing our service. Every time I call I am routed to the same place and they tell its either too late or they aren't able to speak to me.

In August I contacted Shred-it to do a one time purge of old work files. I spoke with *** and he said we could set up a monthly pick-up and they would deliver a small console to place the documents in for shredding. I gave it a try and after having the service for almost a year. I was paying for service when I did not have any documents to have shredded. I called Shred-it in July and spoke with ***, he advised me that I had agreed to a 2 year contract. I advised that no one EVER said I was under contract until that day. I stated that the service was coming to a single family home and NOT a business. We dont have the volume to facilitate service OR the charges. He offered to change the pick up to one time every 2 months, saying that I would have to pay a penalty to cancel. I continued service because I had already spent so much money for the missed service calls. I said this is basically fraud, a scam. In May 2022 I called to cancel service and was given a reference # for the cancellation. Shred-it still kept coming. Today, November 8, 2022 I called and spoke with *** and explained that I was given a reference # for cancelled service, she acknowledged that it was in the system as well as the previous attempt to cancel. *** transferred me to a Retention Specialist, I spoke with *** and he NOW tells me it is a 3 Year Contract. This is fraudulent to me. A deceptive business practice. Im a consumer, not a business. Please help me. Thank you.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company Requested Shred-It's services for offsite disposal of old records and requested 1 large bin

Requested Shred-It's services for offsite disposal of old records and requested 1 large bin. Shred-It sent out a representative with 1 bin on 5/5/22. I and the representative loaded the 1 bin with my documents and then the representative loaded the bin onto the truck. Original quote was for $310. In August 2022, I received two past due invoices both dated 8/10/22. These were the first invoices I received for that service. The amount requested was $1,142.05. Shred-It was charging me for 10 bins despite the fact that I have a small single person office. My office could not hold 10 bins, nor did I have 10 bins worth of documents for destruction. The truck they sent out to pickup the documents was a small truck that could not even hold 10 bins. I called their customer service to look into the issue and I received an email on 8/25/22 stating that a credit was being requested for my account (Customer Support Reference ***. They said the credit would take 1-2 billing cycles to reflect. On 10/19/22 I received a FINAL NOTICE invoice stating that the account would go to collections unless the invoice was paid. I called customer support again and they see the credit was still being requested, but do not have a status on the credit (Customer Support Reference ***. It has already been two billing cycles and I still have no resolution to this issue and no one can give me any updates. I would like to pay for the actual services that were provided and close my account for good. I will not be utilizing their services anymore due to this.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company This company has still not refunded almost $600 in unauthorized charges

This company has still not refunded almost $600 in unauthorized charges. We paid our invoices online on 5/18 and multiple duplicate charges were withdrawn from our account on 5/19, 5/20, and 5/23. Called 6/1, 6/22, and 7/6, sent proof of charges, and even received a confirmation number 2 weeks ago that our unauthorized charges were refunded and processed. As of this date, Shred-it/Stericycle has not refunded money. I was told today the refund is still pending and processing. My initial phone call was over a month ago. Invoice number *** for $99.54 paid on 5/18 Invoice number *** for $93.73 paid on 5/18 The two amounts were debited from our checking account on 5/19 On 5/20 and 5/23, SIX (6) additional unauthorized charges were made on our account totaling $579.81. I called 6/1 and was told their system experienced difficulties and they would process the refund immediately. I received a reference number *** for my case. 3 weeks later we never received our money back so I called them again on 6/22, emailed proof of charges, and they provided me confirmation #*** of refund. Two weeks has passed and we still do not have our money back. I called again today and was told they would escalate my claim and will follow *** in 3 business days. I have been told this same thing every other time I've called. Today I'm told it takes 4-8 weeks to receive a refund. I spoke with Vanessa (Supervisor for Customer Experiences) and Cezara today and was provided her direct phone number *** if the Complaintsboard.com needs to speak with her directly. Our company needs this money refunded immediately.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company I contracted with shred-it company, parent company Steri-cycle

I contracted with shred-it company, parent company Steri-cycle. for a one time fee of $189 to shred papers at my residential address. There was no discussion about an additional fee of $60.29 in ancillary fees. The fee of $189 was deducted from my business account on 10/25/22.I thought this was the end of my obligation to Shred-it and Stericycle Service. However I was billed again for a fee of $249.20. Thus I was billed a send time for the $189 plus the ancillary fee of $60.29 I have repeatedly, by phone and by email complained, to no avail. I advised the company they were double billing me for a one-time service. I called the 800 number *** and just got the run around.my account # is *** I have talked with ***, the local representative with Shred -it and she was of no help, she just turfed me to Steer-cycle saying they. are the parent company of Shred-it and she has no say in how the billing is done. The reference compliant # is 3863825.Last week I spoke with a "***" at ***-cycle who assured me that my complaint is acknowledged and no billing would occur until my complaint was fully addressed, and that it may take 1-2 months before a decision is made.However, today my business account was raided by Stericycle for $249.29 with no explanation for my complaint.I at least. need the $189 fee refunded to me and why was I not informed of the additional fee of $60.29 at the time I purchased the service for $189?Please contact the company Stericyle and find out why they ignore my complaint and charge me double for a one-time fee.Respectfully.Mr *** Thank you

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company Shred-it has repeatedly failed to post payments that we have made to our account

Shred-it has repeatedly failed to post payments that we have made to our account. This has happened multiple times. Initially, we had an auto-draft set up. When I noticed that the payments that were drafting were not appearing on our account, I cancelled the autodraft and began paying manually. have called many, many times. I have emailed customer service. I have received multiple reference numbers, and spent a lot of time on hold. Nothing has been fixed to reflect our payments made, and they have even called the office trying to collect on the account (the representative could only take payments, not help us with this issue). Finally, I cancelled the service on 10/25 (reference #***), with the promise that they would come collect the receptacle 11/2. It is still at the office, and has even been emptied another time (no one was there to tell them not to). Our missing payments, which have drafted from our credit card account, are: 8/15/22: $17, & 9/19/22: $253. I even sent a screen shot of the drafted payments by email to customer service. I have not received a single word of reply. When I spoke to someone on the phone about the missing payments, they gave me the service ticket #***. They told me every time that they would "escalate" the issue to someone that could help and they would call me back. I have received not a single call back. At this point, our service needs to be cancelled, our account needs to reflect the two missing payments, and we should not be charged anything past 10/25 since this is when I cancelled our service. I have made over 5 phone calls about this, and sent multiple emails. No one will help us.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company July 21-called Shred-it requesting their mobile shredding services before August 1; was told that I had to supply banking ACH information before

July 21-called Shred-it requesting their mobile shredding services before August 1; was told that I had to supply banking ACH information before they would schedule a pick-up, so I complied. Was told they would "call in a few days to schedule the pick-up".Did not hear back by end of July, so I took the material to a different shredding facility myself.Aug 10- Shred-it called to schedule and were informed by phone that I had made alternate arrangements, so their services were not required. Their verbal response was "No problem. We will cancel the pickup".Sept 9- Shred-it deducted $579.71 by ACH from my account, using information supplied at the time of original booking. I have contacted Shred-it weekly by phone since then, and have been assured these funds would be returned to my account. Was given Reference Number [protected].October 7-after being placed on hold for 45 minutes, was informed by phone that "funds will be credited back on November 12, 2022."I would appreciate help from Complaintsboard.com. This merchant withdrew funds by ACH one month AFTER acknowledging that they had missed their deadline and services were not required. Instead of apologizing and going out of their way to remedy this situation to immediately return the money, they have stalled and now (as of this past Friday) have given a ridiculous November 12 date for return of funds. This is clearly unethical (and likely illegal) business practice and I would like the Complaintsboard.com to intercede on my behalf and force this business to do the right thing. I would prefer to avoid costly legal fees to recover money that was essentially stolen from my account and is being unreasonably held by this business. Thank you.

This is just a short list of the documentation I have started for the services by Shred-It. We did not start out with Shred-It. The company we were using was bought out by them. The company we had Rapid Information Destruction was great. We could call and go from a weekly to Bi weekly depending on our demand. Unknown to us when Shred-It took over every time we changed our services, they extended the five-year contract. We did not know we were in a contract. The account manager that contacted us when the buy out happened never said anything about a contract. From the beginning there have been times that they do not show. We were thinking that they were just working out the kinks. When Covid hit it was much more inconsistent. We were very understanding as a lot of business were having issues. However, in the last year and a half it has gotten so bad that more than not they do not show up to our office and I have to call. I have asked that we be notified if they are changing our route and that has not happened once. We are also having problems with billing. We were charged for a pick up that never happened. The bills in the last several months show credits. I called and they said disregard the credit that we are having problems with billing. Then we get a past due notice. About a year ago we asked about canceling our services as we are not getting the service we expected. We were told that we would have to pay half of the five-year contract. I feel that at this point they are not holding up their end of the contract. I have attached the reference numbers for all the call I have made trying to resolve these issues. At this point we need to be released from the contract so we can find someone reliable. Are docs have sensitive information and we can't have boxes sitting full waiting for them to show.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company I began services with Shed-It prior to 2020

I began services with Shed-It prior to 2020. When COVID-19 began, a representative informed me my 8-week pick-up cycle could be suspended due to the pandemic. I was told I could schedule pick-*** as needed. I opted for the as needed service, and I have been operating under that agreement ever since.In 2022, I began receiving Proof of service emails from Shred-It for pick-*** I had not scheduled and services I had not received. I also discovered I was being charged for these phantom services. I spoke to a representative and sent an email explaining I did not schedule or receive the services in which I was billed. I also explained that my pick-*** were as needed. In response, Shed-It sent an email which stated I would receive credit for the charges. In October 2022, I requested a pick-up for 10/15/2022. Shred-It sent an email informing me that my pick-up would occur on 10/21/2022.On 10/21/2022, my daughter stayed in my home to provide Shred-It with access to the bin located in my apartment. My apartment buildings maintenance staff was also in my apartment assessing needed repairs. At approximately 11:50am, I received a Proof of service email from Shred-It. I immediately contacted Shred-It customer service because I knew no one had come to my home to make a pick-up. The Shred-It rep. consulted with the local transportation unit who reported no one being home. According to the representative, the person assigned to make the pick-up reported he called my mobile phone and no one answered.I explained to the representative that I had many incidents in which Shred-It workers have lied about making pick-***, even for dates I did not schedule. I requested credit for the 10/21/2022 charges and asked that my account be closed. The rep. informed me that there was another outstanding charge on my account for 4/26/2022 date of service. This is also a phantom date of service. Now, they are charging me a $197 fee to close my account.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company 3/22: We signed a contract for three bins

3/22: We signed a contract for three bins. Bins scheduled to arrive ***. 3/31: Our bins arrive. 4/1: Bins full, called Shred-it requesting bins to be emptied and returned for more shredding. CustService stated someone would reach out to schedule. (I do not have record of the days I called customer service between 4/1 and 4/14, call log archived at this time.) 4/14: A second contract sent to us via email for the use of three more bins. 4/18: Called Shred-it and requested pickup of full bins. CustService stated that someone from scheduling would contact to schedule pickup. A representative never contacted me. 5/5: Invoice submitted to AP, payment sent.5/6 - 5/13 (exact date not recorded) Shred-it driver arrived unannounced. Bins emptied on-site and returned for continued use. 5/11: Contacted Shred-it requesting new bin pickup, CustService scheduled to have a pickup on 5/13 and confirmed our business name, address, and suite number for the pickup. 5/13: Shred-it contacted me stating our business was closed and the driver was unable to pickup our bins. CustService confirmed the address with me and it was at this time we discovered that the business name and suite number were changed by CustService during my call on ***, even though I did not request changes. At this time, our driver had already left and would not return same-day. I was told someone would reach out to reschedule. 5/18: Called CustService, escalated to a manager. He assured me he would get the issue resolved and someone would email me to reschedule pickup. 5/27: Called CustService requesting manager escalation. This new manager personally reached out to our local branch in *** and she was not able to reach anyone. She stated someone would reach out to me the following week to reschedule. 6/6: Collections stating payment not received. Average phonecalls to CustService take *** minutes. Seeking resolution, three full bins remain on-site as of 6/8. Bins are locked.

I wish to complain about your shredding services that I invested in on June 15th with the help of a Sales Representative by the name of ***. I signed up on your website to receive a quote and I was contacted by ***. He explained to me on the phone that you provide shredding for $80.82 per service every 2 weeks. He then emailed me this information and I have attached this for your information. I agreed to the services that were provided to me in his email and he sent me the contract which I then signed. I am complaining because once I signed the contract, I received the shred it box 3 weeks later and when I tried to follow up there was no response on his phone and I had to email him a few times. Later the first invoice was mailed to me and the invoice price was slightly more than what he had explained but it was a minor amount so I paid the invoice and proceeded with your services. I then received the second invoice on August 3, 2022, for $123.00, the bill was $42.18 more than what your sales representative, *** had explained to me in his email sent on June 15th, 2022. I was very surprised and shocked to see all the extra hidden charges that were included on this bill. When I first learned of this problem, I contacted your customer care team and was told that nothing could be done about my problem although a lot of fundamental issues were never explained to me in the email sent by *** on June 15th. I was then told that they can only provide a discount on future bills for the fuel fees only. Further conversation with your team lead to the discussion about the other fundamental issue that *** had failed to mention in his email to me and on the contract. This includes the fact he has put me on a 5 YEAR commitment.It is unethical and unreasonable to provide customers with an inaccurate description of your services in writing and provide them with an agreement that includes discrepancies.This is a SCAM and it is FRAUDULENT.

Billing,have overpaid shred-it in November by $28.00. No invoices sent to me for services in months of Feb, March, or April 22'.On May 25th, 2022...get Invoice from Shred-it service performed on 5/19/22 service for an amount of $***, with a Balance due of $59.92 for a Total account balance: on invoice of $89.88.On [protected] I get another Invoice from collections department for a balance due of: $121.80 (past due of $91.84) . On 5/31/22 Confused I call and speak to Rome: confirmation ref #: ***. Rome explains how bills payments are applied. ROME also informs me I have a Credit from an overpayment on 11/20 of $28.00...But I needed to call in and ask them to apply that payment? I explained to Rome credit should be applied to current balance. I explained I needed to see a copy of my debits and credits and was informed I could pay online: so on 5-31-22 paid $119.84 in Full. I estimated $1.96 would be my remaining Balance after $28 credit...before receipt of debits and credits of account that i could reconsile.6-9-22 receive an collections invoice with balance due of $121.80.Called and spoke to ***: (ref #: 0269252)I explained I had made a payment and my balance should only be: $1.96. ( prior to matching my checks paid) They have no record of my payment? I then find confirmation of my payment ref # ***. Overall accountability of payments in nonexistent. When I question I am told payments show *** in 2 billing cycles? I am asked for confirmation #...only after I give can a payment be found. In review of my payments sent on 5/31/22..no credit was given for payments made on: 11/29/22 in amount of $28.00(cashed 12/06 copy included), 12/27 in amount of *** (cashed 1/03/22 requested) Payment 2-1-22 in amount $28.00(cashed 2-7-22-requested copy) Payments made in the amounting to $85.96 have not been applied. They cannot provide me with a confirmation of payments made with debits and credits applied. Looks Fraudulent.

Shred-It, a Stericycle Company I contacted Shred-It to do a one time pick up and destruction of documents and 5 hard drives at my storage facility

I contacted Shred-It to do a one time pick up and destruction of documents and 5 hard drives at my storage facility. My business is located at my home but I specifically instructed the person at Shred-It that all of the documents were at my storage facility. She overlooked that when she sent me the contract to sign. When I caught it a few days from the scheduled pick-up she apologized and said she had missed that in the original email and she would correct it and send me a new contract to sign, which she did. The company had originally scheduled the pick-up for 8/4/22 but had to reschedule it for 8/10/22 due to illness of the driver. However, a driver showed up at my home on 8/4/22 unexpectedly and I just happened to see him sitting in my driveway. I told him that the pick-up was not to occur until the following Wednesday at my storage facility. He called his supervisor and the supervisor instructed him to pick up the hard drives that I happened to have on hand since he was already there. I reluctantly gave them to him. They then showed up the following Wednesday 8/10/22 to get the documents from my storage facility. I never requested them to come to my home but they are billing me separately for that because they came due to the companies' error. The agreement that we both signed is attached and, based upon it, I should have owed a total of $291.60. I have paid them $322.99, which is what the statement showed was my balance due. They are now billing me $571.32 in addition to the $322.99. I have tried repeatedly to call and email the person that set up the pick-up so that she could help me get this resolved and she will not return any of my calls or emails. I have spoken with the customer service reps and they keep telling me that I still owe a balance of $571.32 but when I go to my account on line it shows a zero balance due. They have now sent my account to collections but I have paid them all that I owe them and more according to the agreement.

There has been a truck blocking the only handicapped entrance to a medical facility along with 2 handicapped parking spaces for over 2 hours. The truck was there when I arrived at 8:30 and it is currently 11:03. The truck is empty and I have not seen an employee for the entire time. This is unacceptable. It is at 96 Integrity Dr, Hebron, OH 43025.
