A week ago I decided to exchange my BTC coins for XMR coins. First I read the rules for creating an exchange. Then I checked the exchange rate and created an exchange. I checked the correctness of my XMR address several times to receive coins, and using a QR code, I sent BTC from my wallet to the address indicated on the exchange page. Since the rules said that the exchange takes from 5 to 60 minutes, I decided that two hours would definitely be enough. But, the status of my exchange remained "Waiting".

I checked again the address to which I sent the coins in the wallet with the address on the exchange page - they matched. But, 2 hours have passed and my exchange was still in the "Waiting" status. Suspecting that I ran into scammers (there are a lot of these unfortunate guys nowadays), I went to a live chat.

Within a couple of minutes, they explained to me that they had not yet received the coins to the address to start the exchange. I was indignant!

After all, I sent the coins, and could provide them with a screenshot of the sending. But, thanks to the employee of the support team for drawing my attention to the transaction - it is still confirmed.

I made a mistake when setting the network fee, and my transaction hung in what seemed to me an eternal wait. In order not to lose contacts, I provided my email and asked to let me know when there would be any news.

Three days later, I received a letter in which I was informed that the coins had reached the desired address, and my exchange could continue at the current rate or I can choose a refund of my funds.

Since I replied a day later, we agreed on the course again, and my exchange was finally completed. I am happy that I did not lose my money, and I am grateful that I was contacted by mail.

One of the best exchanges I've used lately. There is no registration here, which suits me because there is no need to waste time in order to make a small exchange. My recent experience with SimpleSwap has been frustrating and disappointing.

They cancelled a swap I made yesterday morning due to "the prices getting worse." This is fine, and I requested a refund.

The problem is that it is taking near 20 hours + to receive my refund, even after providing my address for the refund. In this time, my coins are held hostage - and this cost me $190 due to the price shifts (that only happened about 12 hours after I requested my refund - so this was due to the delay on SimpleSwap's part).

I have emailed multiple times and have asked for an estimated time that I'll receive my refund. I have not received any information on time.

To add insult to this, this delay and holding of my coins is costing me over $190 as the price has moved since I requested my refund.

I am very frustrated with this, and I don't think any reputable business would hold thousands of your money after you have asked for a refund when they were the ones who cancelled your transaction -- PLUS costing you money by holding your investments so you cannot sell at the price you wanted.

Please refund my coins ASAP.

Probably scam beware…

While their site says the swap will be finished within 60 minutes, they are not able to process it in days.

In case they will finish swap sometime, swap rate has changed over time so I am losing money here

Support sucks the big way as after several request the promised to fix it in an hour and did nothing.

I believe it is pure scam and I dont recommend to anybody to use it at all.
