huddersfield v leeds match 05.02.17 commentary
Disgusted by your commentators downplaying the seriousness of the Huddersfield manager coming on the pitch it led to a serious altercation afterwards and inflamed the crowd.
Not only was it disgraceful it was dangerous and any of the Leeds players would have been within their rights to confront him.
It was classless to run on the pitch before the game was finished and to downplay the commentary gives the impression that this behaviour is acceptable.
sky sports programming
Having been a loyal Sky customer for 20 years, I am extremely disappointed in the lack of live sport and losing sports such as Champions League and the Australian Big Bash, England Ashes tour down under for the next 5 years, What else are we likely to lose? We have 5 sport channels and very little live action, ok you shoe a lot of NFL and premier league games, but with the price of our packages going up with us losing big name events.
During our summer, we have a lot of cricket, one day and T20, but not much shown, elite league speedway, didn`t get much live action last year, are we going to get more this year...?
I don`t understand why you show old stuff or repeat stuff on the 5 channels, I am seriously considering getting rid of my sky sports package as I feel its not worth it.
I want to see more Rugby League, Speedway and Cricket.
I used to watch NBA but you lost that, Big Bash - you lost that.
I am just concerned that SKY will lose more in the future.
5 sport channels and today only live Spanish football and Golf, not good enough.
I will see what happens this year with your programming and if it doesn`t improve then myself and many others will drop sky sports or sky altogether.
Stuart Barnes commentary on the Lions match in New Zealand was bias. Did he only have an England squad team sheet. The Lions represent 4 nations yet he only had time to praise the English players . This is reinforced at his summary of
F the game by saying sure thing like"Farrell and Farrell made a good partnership. He was blind to other players who played well e.g Conor Murray and George North to mention 2 . We want an unbiased coverage. Get rid. He did the same in the 6 nations . Regards Joan

Listening to Gary Neville again commentating
Could the man be more biased or boring if he tried
Ex united player biased commentary
Shouldn't allow players that played for one team their whole career commentate for the team they played for
It's mundane and
Incredibly tedious listening to his very monotonous voice
Change this please I love footie but I turn over if he's commentating and listen to 5 live
commentator - gary neville out!!
On behalf of +5000 Sky Sports customers joining social network page to express their frustration against Mr Gary Neville, I would like to kindly request you to remove Mr Gary Neville from giving commentary on any Sky Sports Channels as he does not have the sufficient skills and capabilities to deliver a football game commentary fairly e.g. in many occasions he would simply argue on a fair challenge as a wrongful challenge even though the evidence shows its a fair challenge. He is very biased when it comes to Manchester United games which puts off other supporters. A commentator should not be biased and should only give fair commentary on both sides to make the game enjoyable for all supporters.
I hope this complaint would be considered seriously and relevant actions are taken as soon as possible against Mr Gary Neville.
sky sports 1 england vs south africa rugby
We settled down to watch a much anticipated sporting experience to find it spoilt by continuous interruptions showing replay after replay. Then replays of replays. Then replays of replays of replays. Then tactical replays after tactical replay. It was a bloody nightmare. Do you not think rugby fans are capable of understanding what it going on. Have the...

I would like to complain about the lack of knowledge of the commentary during the start of the highlights of Bradford City vs Chesterfield on Sunday 8th May. There was a minutes silence for the Bradford City fire (11th May 1985) to commemorate the 56 who died in the fire which I was present at that day.
There a large flag in the middle of the pitch. The commentator said wrongly "It was to mark the respect of those who have passed away during the season", no mention of the 56 who died even though the flag clearly stated the 56. This shows the lack of knowledge and respect in my opinion. This would have been very different if it was the Hillsborough remembrance.
Andrew Kay
andy townsend
Andy Townsend must be the worst presenter on Skysports. For a individual that has played the game his comments and views has been shocking. All you hear out his mouth is negativity. I believe no matter what team you are he has something negative to say. No wonder he will never be a Premier League Manager. His distasteful comments of teams makes you want to turn the television off. He continues to criticise players and teams and think he has enjoyed the failure of top teams like Liverpool, Manchester United and more.
coverage of speedway
Once again i am disgusted that the decision makers have deemed not to cover speedway enough on sky tv. The speedway grand prix wont be covered through lack of viewers.
the viewing figures are down because the muppets who schedule do not have a regular time slot on one channel resulting in confusion as to when the programmes are on therefore the viewing figures are down : what a surprise!
you need to get behind the sport and give it a chance to increase popularity

commentary
Liverpool v Everton on 7/2/15 commentator Alan Smith was so biased it was unbelievable. Steven Gerard seemed to be only player on the park as it was only name Alan said during whole game. All Everton passes were never mentioned, if I was not actually watching the game I would have thought Liverpool was only team on the park
bias
The amazing anti-Chelsea tirade by Jeff Stelling on Sky Sports (28/12/14) illustates the clear anti-Chelsea bias in the media and Sky in particular. To paraphrase he basically said Cheslea being denied a clear penalty at Southampton was payback for the times they have dived to earn them. He made no such condemnation, to my knowledge, of the many dubious penalties awarded to Sky favourites Liverpool last season. In fact Sky revelled in Liverpool's (laughably) unsuccessful attempt to win the Premier League last year, fuelled by penalties. I did not see any condemnation from Sky of the disgraceful antics of Suarez at Norwich, where he went from writhing in agony to springing up and sprinting goalwards when a scoring opportunity appeared. Sky's anti-Chelsea agenda is perfectly clear - a hard earned point away at high flying Southampton negatively described as points dropped; whilst Liverpool scrambling 1 point from 6 with late equaliser is them on the way back. We know Sky's priorities, Liverpool and United, with Chelsea most hated.

total bias
I always appreciate that there will be a little bias of ex football pro's when commentating on football matches live on Sky Sports as they are only human. Listening to Tony Gale in the first half of the West Ham v Arsenal match on sky sports 28/12/14 I really started to get fed up of listening to it. He was so West Ham bias, that when an Arsenal player was obviously kicked over in the west ham goal area, he said 'well I guess the red had to give it, but West Ham Re very unlucky'. This among other curious comment s he was making and has made in the past against Arsenal shows he has a real chip on his shoulder about them Nd I feel should be excused from commentating on them. I'm happy for Arsenal to be picked apart by people like Gary Neville and Graham souness as they at least given constructive and realistic refections on the game in front of them, even thought they are Man U and Liverpool through and through, they still stay impartial. tony Gale as far As commentating on Araenal is a discgrace. Sorry, but it is true.

commentator bias
Watching the WBA vs. Man Utd game last night 20/10/14. Alan Smith clearly wanted WBA to win the game. Every time WBA had the ball (not very often) his tone of voice was one of excitement. WBA incidents were commented on correctly as fouls etc, where he missed a lot of the incidents where Man United were victims or brushed them off. This was a very similar vein to the man united vs. Leicester game where again he incorrectly commentated on incidents involving Man United.
If you look at the Stats from the Match, they show Man United were on top in the game - this was not reflected in commentary. On top of the bias he is actually very wooden and really quite boring as a commentator.

Man United v Arsenal, Premier League, 28.02.16, 14:05. Old Trafford
I write with reference to the commentary offered by Martin Tyler during the match and couldn’t help notice how over enthusiastic he was towards every goal that was scored by Manchester Utd in comparison to Arsenal. In fact if you replay the commentary to when Danny Welbeck scores Arsenal 1st goal at the end of the first half and the game was 2-1 Martin did not say one thing when the goal went in. (if fact neither did his co presenter) Compare this to his reaction to when Utd scored and you will see exactly what I am on about. Are you not supposed to offer Sky customers fair and unbalanced punditry without prejudice?
It is so blatantly obvious he is Man U fan and this kind of unprofessionalism for someone who has years of experience is quite frankly unacceptable to digest. (Whichever team you may support)
Are you comfortable allowing this kind of behaviour or just oblivious to it for happening for 90 min live on air?
Kind Regards
Glenn
mark roe
Please please please remove Mark Roe from the commentary team . His quite clear favouritism for Tiger Woods is quite frankly sickening and has on several occasions led to me to switch off . At times his comments about Woods are quite unbearable regardless of whether he's leading or missed the cut! It seems the guy has a rather unhealthy obsession with Woods one that suffering viewers such as myself should not have to tolerate !
naill quinn
Why is Niall Quinn commentating on the Chelsea v Arsenal game? He is clearly biased and is giving a one sided view. He should take a leaf out of Gary Neville's book who always manages to give clear, concise commentary, even when Manchester united are playing. We ahve had to put the TV on mute as he is driving us mad!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Missing 15 mins of el classico (barca vs real) is completely unacceptable! Very unhappy! Shocking considering the money we pay for sky sports each month!
Yes we had same feeling.
The whole match Quinn was constantly prejudiced towards Arsenal-it was the worst commentary i have heard for years!
jaimie redknapp
jaimie redknapp is the worst sports tv presenter to watch, and he constantly butts in and talks over the other better presenters on sky sports, he is always cutting them short and talking over them in that annoying twang and i can t undersrtand why the presenter aand the other pundits dont just tell him to shut up and let them speak ?
there are loads of much better footbal pundits ( and better footballers) than redknapp,
he is so annoying, I have to watch other channel,
at least someone tell him to allow others to speak, , , and that it it not HIS show

coverage
What bad/sad/disappointing coverage of the Golf we are suffering. Whilst spending a fortune on too many commentators who do not stop talking, imparting needless information, we are now only shown the top few players for hours on end. No one would imagine that there are over 60 golfers on the course and that your viewers are interested in more than the leaders, either because they have friends, family or acquaintances and/or have put bets on some. The PGA have got it right by periodically showing everyone's score at the bottom of the screen and believe it or not showing more than the leaders playing. Please take a lesson from them and spend more on camera men than on commentators. Hilda
This is about SKY Sports and their reporting of The Rangers FC.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8935866/
It is well known by anyone with an interest in Scottish football, that one of the major clubs, Rangers FC, went into liquidation last year. A new club was formed and joined Scottish football at the bottom tier.
Since then, we have had a diet of propaganda and spin, telling us that the club never really went into liquidation at all - but rather it was the holding company that went into liquidation.
I would like to take issue with the statement on SKY Sports website which states:
"The Gers boast a 100 per cent record this season in the Scottish League One, as they look to continue their climb back up the divisions after administration saw them consigned to the fourth tier last summer."
This is completely wrong. Administration never consigned any club to the fourth tier. This is not only wrong, it is an insult to the creditors including every UK taxpayer.
The new Rangers club were formed in 2012 and applied to join Scottish Football at the bottom tier. It is important that SKY Sports and other media outlets tell the truth about the events that led to the liquidation of Rangers FC and not be part of the propaganda scam to re-write history with false information.
The new Rangers had a share issue and raised over £20m but the old Rangers went bust owing anywhere between £50m and £75m but no creditors were paid off.
There is a clear difference between old and new Rangers and this should be reflected in accurate reporting from SKY.
totally agree with above complaint and would add that significant ryder cup shots are being missed due to inane chat by presenters
one sided commentary
Whilst watching arsenal v Newcastle I would like to say that Alan parry's commentary was completely one sided towards arsenal. Surely commentary is supposed to be objective but he sounds like a season ticket holder the way he is going on. Disgraceful

I see no resolution. Do you just ignore these as a form of resolving a complaint!
How biased is this proses?
post-match interviews
I personally found it extremely rude how the interviewer cut off Andre Villas Boas during the post match interviews in the game Chelsea v Man Utd. Allowing Alex Ferguson to rant and rave about other potential penalty decisions that the linesman missed, and then stopping Villas-Boas on commenting on his views is unacceptable. The man will obviously have his opinion about the two penalties given - especially since they contributed to the result! I think Sky Sports need to stop this 'everyone has an opinion' facade when they clearly feel that certain opinions arent relevant. Such a concidence that any comments on Man Utd and their 'hepling hand' from the referees are never discussed.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I'm almost at the end of my teather here.
My query: Sky Sports Interactive (red button).
I am a VirginMedia customer.
For the last 14 weeks I have got up every single Saturday at 8am to watch the Super14 rugby. Yet when it comes to the last 2 weeks...Sky Sports put the semi finals AND THE FINAL on the red button.
I have complained to sky...but get no response. I have complained to OfCom but was told it wasn't in their remit!
And the worst thing was that while it was inaccessible to me as a Virgin customer, what was on sky sports3? ...Wrestling Highlights.
Sky are taking the micky and nobody can do anything about it. I pay the same for sky sorts don't I? So why don't I recieve the same services as sky?
This isn't teletext we're talking about...I am missing programmes that I have waited all year to watch. Next week there is yet even more rugby that I am missing because its "red button".
I am on the V.I.P package and pay £100 a month for these services yet can't watch the programmes I want to.
Please tell me what is going to be done because it is ridiculous.
Thanks.
Why do you feel the need to tell all football scores without warning i've avoided seeing the scores so i could watch the Arsenal match on first match choice why dont you keep your mouth shut if people want to no the scores they can go to sky sports news or at least give warning that the scores are coming up . I have never made a complaint before but i pay a lot of money for the sole reason to watch the Arsenal matches so thanks for messing that up for me i think i'll cancel me subscription with you and get Arsenal tv on the internet regards Daniel Richardson.
For the last several games of Tri Nations Rugby on Sky Sports HD they have failed to show the New Zealand National anthem before matches and only the Haka. As a kiwi I have found this to be very disrespectful as instead of showing the national anthem they have some Australian TV pundit talking instead which is extremely insulting and inconsiderate. If the English national anthem was interrupted by a Tv pundit I am sure people would be very upset and complain too. The New Zealanders have a beautiful national anthem and it is a shame that we cannot hear it before the match as well as being upset by it.
Ian chappell is incredibly biased and relays his own personal beliefs and annoying rude unnecessary nothing to do with cricket or even him comments when commentating cricket and I am sick to death of it! He says he does not like certain cricketers for reasons that have nothing to do with cricket or affect cricket in any way and he has never met the person in the first place so what the hell is his probl' em. He will assume constantly! He does not know the facts. I'm listening to him now 'somebody must have said something'... 'it must be the batsman moaning'... 'I don't like him he put his hands in the air'... You do not know if somebody said something! You do not know it was the batsman and have clearly said that because they are the team you want to lose so you'd say anything! And so what if his hands are in the air!
Michael atherton on sky sports cricket has just stated that the rain is coming from liverpool and not much good comes from liverpool, I think michael atherton and sky sports owe liverpool people an appolgy,
Towards the start of the match in the tunnel correct me if i'm wrong but i'm sure I heard the commentator Martin Tyler say "Even Ballack is wearing a poppy". Now if this (on remembrance day) is referring to Ballack's German roots I think it is disgusting. Whether or not he meant it I think he should be subject to a full apology to the player and the paying viewers.
Lack of professionalism by the commentator here.
commentators
Are all sky commentators Manchester United fans? I found it hard to hear any comments on Chelsea at all, very sad!

Having watched the Premier League football match between QPR and Chelsea I would like to stress my dissatisfaction in the way that John Terry (Chelsea Player) is not suspended from playing football until the allegations of racism is looked into. Despite whether Anton Ferdinand speaks out about the incident I being a black sky subscriber and having watched the match and the clip replayed on the Internet have no doubt that John Terry was evidently raciest. I not only take offence to him being a England Player/Captain but also to the fact that I pay for my sky subscription and expect that protocol is followed regardless of the amount of money or the type of career you hold. Racism of any type will not be tolerated by myself and I do not expect to pay for the right to experience such vulgarity.

Racial slurs are uncalled for. Now apologize to the OP. You'll be a better man for doing that!
