I wanted what I thought was an upgrade from the video doorbells that I installed myself as well as getting some outdoor cameras. I told the salesperson that I needed to know when packages were delivered. He told me the video cameras could do that. After one installer and two more people coming to make adjustments, I was told that they are not designed to show me what I need. Packages are out in the rain or sitting outside all day because it does not even show a delivery. The outdoor cameras do a very good job of picking up the bugs flying by at night and the rain. They also show cars that are down the street but not people walking in the driveway. One person told me to turn off notifications, so I won't get notified when bugs fly by. After two promises of a call back from a supervisor I finally got one on the phone. The supervisor basically told me that it does not matter that the system does not work. I will have tp keep the contract for the 5 years. The cameras are horrible and do me no good. The customer service supervisor was extremely the rude. They have not done anything to help with the situation. She told me that once the contract is signed, I am stuck paying for the system for the full 5 years. And it didn't matter that the salesperson lied about it. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any company.
Desired outcome: I would like out of this 5 year contract. I should not have to pay for something that I was lied to about
