Watch this place (specifically the Manchester location). Once they get your money...you're nothin. Surprisin comin from a company that's been around for years. Customer ain't never right and side with their employees who ain't bein truthful. Really hated havin to write a bad review, but gave 'em plenty of time to correct the issue. I would think twice 'bout usin 'em.

Bought refrigerator on 8/15 still waitin for delivery. Slymans wont provide delivery date and now is 8/30. No updates or status. Regret I did not check ComplaintsBoard.com before purchase. This was a company we relied on for two generations. Slymans must think it is ok to keep a customers money and ignore customer.

We bought a Maytag washer and dryer from Slyman Brothers Appliance Co on September 5. It took a whole 6 weeks for the washer to arrive. But guess what? Within the first 2 days, the washer wasn't doing its job of cleaning clothes. So we reached out to Slyman Bro. and they got in touch with Maytag. Can you believe it took a whopping 2 weeks for a repair person to show up?
After waiting for 3 long months, the dryer finally made its grand entrance. But hold on, just a week after the dryer was delivered, the washer decided to give up on life. It won't even power on, and our clothes are stuck inside, like prisoners in a jail. We tried contacting Slyman brother, but they're playing hard to get and won't respond.
Oh, and let me tell you about the dryer. When it was delivered, those guys didn't even bother hooking it up properly. Can you believe the nerve?
Overall, this whole experience has been a real headache. The delivery times were ridiculously long, the washer broke down in no time, and the customer service from Slyman Brothers Appliance Co is non-existent. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

I told 'em about it, but they wouldn't take the stove back. A technician came and brought a new panel, but it was all scratched and buckled too. Slyman's said they won't do anything about it. I paid $950.00 for this! When I called GE, they said the stoves only have a 7-day warranty from the manufacturer. But Slyman's gave me a one-year warranty.

I bought a washer dryer combo on 6/11. It got delivered to St. Louis around 7/3, but it wasn't installed until 7/14. They did the installation right, but the thing doesn't work. The company won't come and pick it up or give me my money back until a third party fixes it. After that, they say they'll take it back and sell me something else. I don't want to deal with this company anymore. I want them to pick up the item and give me a full refund, including the cost of the extended warranty. Right now, I'm waiting to hear from the third party to schedule a service call. My emails and phone calls with Slyman have been really disappointing.

I ain't too pleased with the service and stuff I bought from Slyman Brothers Appliance Co. I got myself a washer/dryer set from their Hampton store. Supposedly, it's the same kind they use in laundromats, but let me tell ya, it's a real disappointment. The dang washing machine don't even agitate properly, and it can't get rid of stains and dirt for nothin'. It's ruined some of my clothes too. They claim it's got a heavy wash setting, but even that barely does any agitatin'. I talked to one of the owners, hopin' for some help, but no luck. He said he'd send someone over, but all I got was a call later sayin' that someone at the warehouse tried to reach me. Ain't got no proof of that on any of my machines though. And when they installed the dryer, they didn't even connect the vent hose right out the window. They took out this elbow piece that was there before and just slapped some duct tape over an electrical wire. I called up the manufacturer, and turns out they don't even recommend washin' a comforter in a top-loading machine. Can ya believe it? And on top of all that, they charged me $105 for an installation that ain't done right and might even be dang'rous for the dryer.

Slyman Brothers sent a technician, and he said it was just a cosmetic issue that didn't affect the stove's functionality. I sent another text to the corporate office because I still hadn't heard anything. Eventually, they emailed me back and said I should have read the manual. Apparently, the manual says that cosmetic issues can only be reported within the first 30 days of owning the stove. How was I supposed to know that using the stove would cause these problems? I didn't need to clean it within the first 30 days. And now, the staining caused by the stove is going to keep happening.

The dishwasher we got is model *** and it cost $845. However, within the first year, we started experiencing issues with it. We reached out to Slyman, and they directed us to *** Repair. They sent a repair person who admitted to never working on this type of dishwasher before and was unsure of the problem. They ordered a different circuit board, but it turned out to be the wrong part. When the correct part arrived, they installed it, but the dishwasher still didn't work. The repair person left without re-installing the dishwasher, so it was just sitting there loose and unlevel. They made another attempt, but still couldn't fix it. I called *** and they said that despite having a 4-year warranty, they wouldn't make any more efforts to repair it because they had already spent enough money sending people out. I also contacted Slyman Brothers, but they said there was nothing they could do and suggested speaking to their attorney. Our dishwasher is still not working, and it's still within the 4-year warranty period. However, neither Slyman Brothers, who sold us the unit, nor ***, the warranty repair center, are willing to help.

The next day, the freezer light went out. I called the extended warranty I purchased and on 4/6, was told that lights are not covered. I spoke with Tony from the Warranty Corporation. Then, on 4/18, all refrigerator lights went out. I called Slyman Brothers about the warranty. They suggested it might be an electrical issue and would check if it could be serviced. After no response, I followed up on 4/28. I was told it was under review and would hear back soon. On 5/6, I called again and was advised to call for a module part, without a specific number. The warranty doesn't cover lights, considered maintenance, which the manual doesn't mention. The manual states the lighting should never need replacing. I spent over $5000 on appliances at Slyman Brothers to support local businesses, but after this experience with warranties and appliances, I am reconsidering future purchases.

We cancelled the order on April 22, because it didn't fit our kitchen. On April 22, 2022 we ordered a JennAir downdraft range from them. They said it should work in our kitchen. The amount on our credit card for this is $2,946.29. Slyman agreed to have their appliance installer check our installation at our home on April 26, 2022 to see if the more expensive range could be installed. However, the Slyman Installer, Speaks Appliance Installation, said that the installation alone would cost $850-$1,000. We would also need to hire an electrician to install 40 amp, 4-wire service to the new electric range. This would cost an additional $1,200. On April 26, we called and emailed them to cancel the order because modifying the kitchen would be cheaper than installing the JennAir range. They said all charges related to both electric ranges would be cancelled immediately. The charges to be removed from our credit card are $1,073.46 + $2,946.29 = $4,019.75. On May 14, 2022, we received our statement and both charges ($1,073.46 + $2,946.29 = $4,019.75) are on it. I want the ComplaintsBoard.com to contact Slyman and fix this right away. Clearly, Slyman doesn't care about customers once they have their money.

Last year in July, I ordered a whole Cafe kitchen set from Slyman bros. They finally arrived on May 2nd this year. When I opened them up, I found out that 3 out of the 4 were damaged. I got in touch with the salesperson I bought them from, and he told me I had to deal with *** for any cosmetic issues because that's covered by the warranty. So, I contacted *** and had a technician come over to check things out. Since then, I've had 9 service calls and there's no end in sight. They keep sending replacement parts for these appliances, but every time they arrive, they're damaged too. It's been a total of 25 damaged pieces. My husband or I have had to take time off work 9 times for these unsuccessful service calls. We had to keep the appliances in the garage until August because they were being worked on. Finally, the *** technician told me to just bring them into the house and get them working. But guess what? One of the burners on the range doesn't work because of some orifice issue. And to top it off, it's still full of damaged pieces. The refrigerator has only been in use for about 2.5 months, and now the compressor needs to be replaced. I found out yesterday that I won't have a refrigerator until December 8th. We had to throw away all our food too. I called the sales rep I bought them from, and he said there's nothing he can do. He even shared a story about how he had to drive around with a dent on his car bumper for 6 months and just accepted it. Well, I've had these appliances for 6 months, but they've only been in my kitchen for 2.5 months. I've had so many service calls already, and there are more to come since my range still needs fixing and now the fridge is acting up. I want a full refund and I want to return these appliances to Slyman. It's not fair for them to expect people to go through all this trouble and still want to keep the appliances. I bought them from Slyman bros, and I want them to give me my money back. I have zero confidence in these appliances or Slyman. I don't want replacements, I want a refund.
