I had a bad experience at SM City Olongapo Store and the matter is not resolved.
I was purchasing 2 pairs Dickies Shorts and I was told by 3 different sales persons that they have a promo of 10% discount. I purchased a pair of shorts with 10% off last week.
There was a sign above the stock that had a Dickies sign and a separate sign reading "Save 10%".
2 of the sales persons told the cashier that they had 10% off and I pointed the sign out to her. She replied "The cash Register says no discount". I asked to see the Store Manager and the cashier refused.
That was my second attempt at the purchase that day. I had to leave earlier because my 4 year old son was playing up and it took over 20 minutes at the cash register- same issue- they declined to allow the 10% discount. So I came back without him.
I was told to try tomorrow for 10% discount.
The amount involved was over P3, 000, the principle is why should you engage in misleading & deceptive conduct to advertise a discount and then not allow the discount at the cash register.
So what is your store policy when you overcharge?
Why did the Store Manager refuse to come to solve the problem?
