SmileBox smilebox

I didn't even get a email or receipts for 2 charges were done yesterday I called the numbers one was busy other no help one charge was $80.11 the other $59.88

My bank was calling about fraudulent charges I checked my account and saw the 2 charges if its for the year plan thats fine for one but not for 2 charges. I need a refund or will cancel the service

Desired outcome: WHY was I charged twice 2 different amounts for the same service? I want a credit or one of the charges to fall off my account without changing all my debit card ACH

SmileBox Smilebox

I have been charged over $200 for the last 3 years and I am not able to find a phone number or chat. My emails are ignored. I am under the free opt. and have been for over 3 years. I want a full refund and to be canceled immediately! I tried this 3 years ago and was not able to use it. I canceled, but still charged. I do not know what to do.

Very FRUSTRADED!

SmileBox Card service

Intentionally misleading about cost. Don't believe me check the BBB page for Smilebox this list of complaints is long and repetitive. If I could I would give it a zero. The site leads you to believe that it will cost you a little less than $5 dollars to use their card service. However, that is not what it happening. They charge for a year subscription which you find out after you click the option for $4.99. So instead of paying $4.99 you are paying just shy of $60 for the beautiful card you created. There are many other companies out there that offer a similar product without the deception. If you look at the reviews you will see there are many reviews about this issue. If you look at other review platforms you will see even more negative reviews about this deception. I am not the only one. It is intentionally misleading advertising and then when they trick you, they tell you its your fault. 100% do not recommend any company that makes their pricing deliberately deceiving. It doesn't matter how lovely their product is. They intentionally take advantage of people as a policy. Its despicable. It is gross.

SmileBox Unauthorized charge to credit card

A charge of $47.88 showed up on my visa bill on 11-10-21. I have no idea where it came from. I have the only credit card with that number and I did not authorize a charge from smile box.

SmileBox Lost smile boxes

hello, I am very disappointed, to say the least, I've been making smile boxes for years how do I access all of my creations I made over the years where are they please give me instructions to access them all! I have not made many since you upgraded I need to clear this up I am a paying customer, after all, Hit me back! 3D!.*

SmileBox unauthorized credit card charges.

I cancelled my subscription prior to renewal. They continued to charge my credit card on 5-31-21 $47.88. I filed a complaint with the fraud department Bank of America. I am requesting a refund.

SmileBox Service

SmileBox is a scam. I was charged $59.99 for Premium subscription. However, I don't have access to premium features. I have been sending emails to customer service to fix the problem for over a month. My attempts to reach them have been fruitless.

Smilebox charged me for $50.75 by 02/27/2021.
However, the product does not work. Just empty window popups.
Smilebox telephone number [protected] for customer service no in use. It looks like the company just rob me for $50.75.

SmileBox e card maker

I ended up purchasing the ability to use their templates to make e-cards for 59.99 US dollars. I never realized that there is no live customer service, the additional cost to remove their business logo from the card, limited customization, and # of templates at this cost of 59.99. There are so many free software available nowadays to create e-card so I was hoping for something better. They gave no option to cancel the subscription even w/n 24 hours of signing it once you realize the trap. It took 4 days to hear back from them as a reply to my email and was brief and was the only response so far. I have written 3 emails. The good thing is that I paid via Paypal and letting them handle this matter. Besides, I used PowerPoint to create an e-card that is more manageable and free.

SmileBox Subscription

I ordered a Smilebox subscription 1/7/2021 which was supposed to be a 14 day trial and afterwards $19.95 month. They charged $139.99 out of my bank account on the same day before trial period ended. After using the product and seeing the quality, I requested a refund and now am being told that I am forced to keep the product for 1 year. I have no way of getting a refund. I have sent several inquiries. The customer phone number that smile box provided is disconnected and no one is available. This is a product of Hallmark and I have submitted complaints with them but it has not been resolved. I would like a refund.

SmileBox Unhappy with smilebox services

Cancel subscription. Renewed last june. Hope by requesting cancellation now when my yearly renewal comes up I will have managed to successfully exit this worthless program. Been a subscriber for a decade and at first years ago I was happy with smilebox. Then things changed. I have premium account but can not print or remove logo or do anything to complete a page. I used it last in july and have now tried again in november. Disgusted with it all. I want to cancel subscription. I feel ripped off.. So disappointed in smilebox. I was a huge fan in the early years, no more.

need a response asap, got billed on [protected] for 47.88 to my checking account ! this was never authorized and need to reverse the transaction !
POS SMILEBOX SMILEBOX.COM [protected] WA ON 200109##0272 I cancel last year and am still getting billed ! if not resolved will report to BBB and any other agency that I can think of ! conveniently yo have removed your phone line helpline to make it harder for us to complain !

SmileBox charged for a "free" membership after cancelling

On November 14, 2019 I looked at my credit card statement and saw that I had been charged an annual Smilebox membership fee of $47.88. I was surprised because I knew I no longer had a paid subscription. I signed into my Smilebox account and sure enough, my status said "Basic Membership" which is free. Had I known Smilebox would be dishonest, I would have taken a screen shot to support my claim, but unfortunately I gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking surely I would have no trouble getting refunded since they could see on their end that I had a basic membership. I looked back at my old statements and saw that not only had I been charged $47.88 in November 2019, but also had been charged in November of 2018 and 2017 as well. This likely went back farther than the statements I could access online but I only requested the $143.88 refunded that I could see. I contacted them with my request and they responded that I had a Premium membership (untrue- my profile indicated basic) but they would "cancel" and refund. I replied back for clarification that they were in fact refunding the full $143.88 not just one year. They responded that no, it would only be $47.88 because of their "no refund policy" and the "terms of membership" I had "agreed to". I replied that I had not agreed to that- as evidenced my by BASIC membership. Their final response was to send me a copy of the Terms of Membership and close my case. I will be taking up the matter with my credit card company as well but I'm not optimistic about being able to dispute charges that are 1 and 2 years old. Additionally, I wanted to be sure to alert as many people as possible to their dishonest business practices and their unwillingness to correct their mistake and refund my own incorrectly billed money.

SmileBox complaint

I've not used Smile Box for years and now I have a charge from Smile Box on my credit card. I tried calling the phone number listed with the charge, however, the response on the Smile Box phone line is that they no longer offer phone support. It appears that they do not offer any support! I went online and tried to resolve the issue, but that gets you no where too!

SmileBox can't cancel subscription that I never asked for.

I went to my Paypal account and noticed that $9.99 had been taken out by a company named SmileboxInc. So I went to that account to cancel any subscription or member ship and just was sent in circles and never could get this subscription or membership cancelled. Please cancel my subscription and/or membership as soon as possible. . I would love my refund back too but have read that doesnt ever happen.

SmileBox "unauthorized credit card payment"

Hello, we have cancelled this account and we still got charged, we are a charity and we have not even received an invoice through our email and we cannot get into the account as we do not have the password and it does not send me an email to reset the email, we would like a full refund and subcription to end as we already cancelled this last year. SmileBox unauthorized money taken out of bank!!!

The name of the company is SmileBox. I want a complete refund of a unauthorized money taken out of my account. $47.88 was taken out on November 16th, 2018. This is outrageous! I did not authorized this to Smilebox. This is very upsetting, especially when all their phone numbers are disconnected. Can't even get in touch with customer service. I want this account canceled and refunded ASAP. This company has many, many Complaints for taking unauthorized money out of accounts. Please Help, I am on a fixed income and can not afford this. Thank you .

SmileBox Credit card

Okay, the software is cool and easy to use. Like someone else on this forum I too tried the "$7" bucks for 7 days trial... Entered my credit card and bam. Thirty days later charged $68 dollars cdn. Tried to contact to complain to no avail... This was in 2016... Guess what? 2017 they charged me again and I don't even have an account... So, let's roll forward to november 2018, no surprise, today they charged me for another year for a service I am not even using. So, I contact and cancel... And the email response is "as of november 2109 your membership will expire and not renew". So no refund again? This company is completely brutal, dishonest and disreputable and ridiculous. I don't even know how they still have my credit card number after I cancelled the account... Arghhhhh. Smile box huh?
