Avoid Snaptravel and Agoda: A Frustrating Experience with Hotel Bookings
If you are planning to use Snaptravel, we recommend that you read this review before making a booking. It is clear that this customer had a difficult experience with this platform. The customer made three bookings in March for stays in July, November, and December at the Radisson Blu Leeds through Snaptravel after searching for the hotels on Trivago. While the customer received a confirmation of the bookings, it was from a company called Agoda, and the hotel was wrong. Upon reaching out to both Snaptravel and Agoda, the customer was mostly ignored; however, eventually, Snaptravel sent an accurate confirmation.
Despite the confirmation, upon arriving at the Radisson Blu in July with her parents for a special treat, the customer was informed that her bookings didn't exist, and the hotel was not booked. In addition to the inconvenience, the customer was forced to pay for two rooms again at £89 per room. As a result, the customer reached out to both Snaptravel and Agoda for a refund and to sort out the booking issues. Nonetheless, after a week of emailing both companies, there was still no resolution.
It is understandable that the customer was frustrated, especially as both companies were blaming each other and not taking responsibility for the mishap. The customer felt they had been robbed, as both companies had taken the money and not booked the rooms. The experience was particularly stressful, given the nature of the planned stays. The customer would not want anyone else to have this unpleasant experience when attempting to book a hotel room to travel.
Therefore, based on this experience, we would recommend that travelers avoid booking through Snaptravel or Agoda to save themselves from any unforeseen circumstances. It is best to stick to reputable platforms that ensure their customers are satisfied with the booking process, rather than potentially fraudulent sites that could make the booking process stressful and ruin the planned stay.
Beware of Snaptravel: A Fraudulent Hotel Booking Site with Worthless Credits
I recently had an experience with Snaptravel (snaptravel.com) that I would like to share with potential customers. Unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one.
At first glance, Snaptravel seemed like a great way to book affordable hotel rooms. However, after using their services, I quickly realized that they do not actually make any hotel reservations. It seems that they only pretend to do so.
When I attempted to book a hotel room with Snaptravel, they charged my credit card right away. However, when I arrived at the hotel, I was informed that there was no reservation under my name. This happened twice, and both times I was given "Credits" to use towards a future reservation. Unfortunately, these credits turned out to be worthless, and were designed only to be used as a reason to deny me a refund.
When I called the second hotel to confirm my reservation, I was informed that there was no record of it. I then cancelled the reservation and received an email stating that my credit card would be refunded. However, I never received the refund, and when I complained to Snaptravel's customer service, I was directed to their offshore text chat, which was difficult to navigate and not very helpful.
After doing some research, I found out that no hotels actually work with Snaptravel. While they claim to have partnerships with various hotels, none of the hotels in Orlando were familiar with Snaptravel. Instead, they all have contracts with more reputable booking sites like Expedia and Priceline.
In the end, I realized that Snaptravel is a fraud. They charge your credit card without actually making hotel reservations, and their credits are worthless. I strongly suggest that travelers find a more reputable and reliable site for booking their hotel rooms. It is my hope that Snaptravel will eventually be shut down by federal prosecutors or state DA, as what they are doing is not only unethical but also illegal.
Warning: Deceptive and Untrustworthy - My Terrible Experience with Snaptravel
It is with great disappointment that I write this review regarding my experience with Snaptravel. I would like to warn fellow travelers to stay away from this service, as my family and I had a terrible experience and it is absolutely not trustworthy.
Firstly, upon searching for hotels on their website, I specifically filtered for 2 adults and 1 child. However, the search results displayed a hotel that did not allow children. This was already a red flag, but I figured it was an honest mistake and went ahead with the booking.
To my dismay, after booking the hotel, I found out that children were absolutely not allowed at the hotel. I immediately reached out to Snaptravel to cancel the booking, but this is where the real nightmare began.
Despite being assured that they were taking care of the cancellation and had contacted the hotel, I was later informed that the cancellation request was denied by the hotel because it was made too late. This delay was due to Snaptravel's customer care team, who kept passing me around to different agents and made me wait for over a day before attempting to contact the hotel.
Even worse, when I requested a refund, Snaptravel denied my request and placed the blame on me, stating that I was responsible for the mistake. This is simply not true - the fault lies with their website's search results and their poor customer care.
It is unacceptable for a travel service to use bait-and-trap tactics to deceive its customers, and then refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes. I urge everyone to steer clear of Snaptravel, as it is clear that their customer service is severely lacking and their business practices are shady.
Snaptravel, if you are reading this, please take responsibility for your actions and refund my money as soon as possible. Otherwise, I fear that more customers will have experiences like mine and your business will ultimately fail.
Snaptravel's Last Minute Hotel Cancellation - A Disappointing Experience
I was really looking forward to my Maui vacation and had made a reservation months in advance through Snaptravel. However, my excitement was quickly replaced with disappointment when I received a message from the booking site informing me that the hotel would not honor my reservation, with just six hours left before my check-in time. Needless to say, I was extremely angry and frustrated with Snaptravel's handling of the situation.
The message I received from Samantha at the "Snaptravel Urgent Care Team" urged me to book another hotel as soon as possible and allow a few days for the reservation to be changed. To add insult to injury, the message also contained an apology along with a refund and some credits for a future booking. While the gesture was nice, it did little to assuage my disappointment and frustration.
I have to say that my experience with Snaptravel was very disappointing. The fact that they waited until the last minute to inform me of the cancellation was unacceptable. I would not recommend using Snaptravel for your booking needs, as it can result in a lot of unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
Nightmare Booking Experience with Snaptravel - Avoid at All Costs!
If you're planning on booking a holiday through Snaptravel, think again. My sister and I made the mistake of using their website to book accommodation in Dubai, and it was an absolute disaster. We specifically booked two apartments on the apartment side of the hotel, but when we arrived, we were informed that we had been booked into the hotel side instead. Despite spending countless hours on the phone trying to resolve the issue, we were left feeling stressed, frustrated, and completely let down by the level of customer service we received.
In addition to the miscommunication about our booking, we were also let down by the robotic and scripted responses we got from Snaptravel when we tried to contact them. More often than not, we were told that our issue had been escalated, and that we would receive updates in 15-30 minutes, but we were continually left waiting with no information. When we did manage to speak to someone, they were unhelpful and seemed to be more interested in following a script than actually addressing our concerns.
The worst thing about our experience with Snaptravel, however, was the fact that we felt completely misled by their false advertising. We paid extra for the apartment side of the hotel, but were put in the cheaper hotel side instead. This blatant disregard for our booking preferences left us feeling scammed and ripped off, and we are still waiting for a resolution to this issue.
Overall, I would strongly advise against using Snaptravel for your holiday bookings. The level of service we received was nothing short of a nightmare, and I would not want anyone else to go through what we did.
If there is any silver lining to this experience, it's that we have learned our lesson about trusting online booking platforms too readily. From now on, we will be doing our research and going with companies that have a proven track record of providing quality service and honest advertising.
Beware of Snaptravel: Dishonest Business Practices and Hidden Fees
My recent experience booking a two-night stay at the Days Inn Lake Havasu by Wyndham through Snaptravel was unfortunately not what I expected it to be. Initially, I was pleased to find the room available for $80 per night, but upon receiving my credit card statement, discovered that the charges were now $86.15, an increase that had not been disclosed during the booking process. Additionally, taxes and fees added $30.16 to the total cost, but Snaptravel refused to provide an itemized breakdown when I inquired about it.
Another unwelcome surprise came in the form of a sneaky $3 "tip" that Snaptravel added to the total charge for their own benefit, rather than for the hotel or its staff. In total, my credit card was charged $205.47 for the two-night stay, a significant increase from the "$80 per night" advertised.
While I must commend the Days Inn hotel and staff for their excellent service during my stay, I cannot say the same for Snaptravel, whose dishonest and thieving business practices left a bitter taste in my mouth. The fact that they agreed to refund the $3 "tip" after getting caught only reinforces my belief that they were trying to cheat me out of my hard-earned money.
Despite my attempts to resolve the issue by speaking with two customer service representatives, both of whom seemed to be reading from a script rather than addressing my specific concerns, I was unable to reach a satisfactory resolution. When I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor, they promptly hung up on me, leaving me feeling frustrated and disillusioned.
In conclusion, I would caution other travelers to be wary of Snaptravel and their deceptive practices, and instead book directly with hotels or reputable third-party booking sites that are transparent about their charges and fees.
Snaptravel Review: Poor Communication & Unacceptable Customer Service
I recently booked a reservation through Snaptravel for The Palazzo At The Venetian for a stay on January 28,2022. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue where the room I booked with 2 double beds was only booked with a king bed. After contacting customer service on December 28, 2021, I was assured that the issue was resolved by the escalation team. However, when I called the hotel on January 24, 2022, I found out that Snap Travel had cancelled my double room on January 5 and changed it to only a king bed without notifying me.
Upon hearing this, I called multiple times over the course of two days but to no avail. Instead, I received a confusing email from Snaptravel about a "Ling room" that did not address my concerns. Furthermore, customer service representatives barely seemed to understand English and simply read from a script, providing me no actual resolution.
To add insult to injury, Snaptravel claimed that they had called me to address the issue even though my phone never rang. This lack of communication and poor customer service is unacceptable.
Despite receiving an email from a supervisor named Annie on December 28th, ensuring that I was confirmed for two beds, the hotel seemed to have received a different type of booking information from Snaptravel. This inconsistency has caused me a great deal of grief and I would not recommend Snaptravel to anyone, as it is a scam and a fraud.
As for Rachelle’s email, it did not help solve the issue as this only confirmed my unfortunate experience. I am extremely disappointed by the way Snaptravel has handled my reservation and the lack of transparency around the room changes that were made. It is essential to be honest and transparent with customers, and Snaptravel has failed to deliver on this.
Snaptravel's Nightmare Customer Service Experience: Unresponsive, Uncaring, and Unacceptable
When I booked a hotel in Miami through Snaptravel, I could not have imagined the nightmare that awaited me. My two children and I arrived at 12 AM, only to find that the front desk employee couldn't locate our reservation. I showed him the confirmation email from Snaptravel, but he said there was nothing he could do with that.
Desperate for a solution, I asked if I could book a room directly with the hotel, but it would have cost me $400 a night. So, I called Snaptravel for help. They initially assured me that they would contact the hotel promptly, but that did not happen. I waited for more than 30 minutes, and when I asked the front desk if there were any calls, I was told that none had been received.
When I called Snaptravel again, they told me that they would escalate the issue and that someone would reach out to me, but no one did. After more than an hour, I received an automated text from them, and I called them again, only to hear the same empty promises. Eventually, they advised me to find another hotel, and they would reimburse the difference, given that I had no other choice.
I had to carry my two children, strollers, and suitcases in an Uber to our next hotel, and by the time we arrived, it was already 3 AM. The trouble didn't end there. Even after repeatedly contacting Snaptravel for a refund for the initial hotel, they failed to respond adequately. They simply kept telling me that someone would reach out and never did, leaving me completely in the dark.
Finally, a representative from Snaptravel said they needed to speak to the hotel, but they had already had a week to do this. They failed to take any action when I initially reached out for help, and now it was too little too late. The whole experience was incredibly frustrating, and the lack of response and care from Snaptravel was unacceptable.
Snaptravel Review: A Nightmare Experience with Poor Customer Service
My experience with Snaptravel has been extremely disappointing and frustrating to say the least. I'm still waiting for a refund that was supposed to have been issued to me over a month ago, and on top of that, I had to pay an additional $974 because they made the wrong reservation. The reservation we paid for included three adults for a seven day all-inclusive stay. However, when we arrived at the hotel, we found out that the reservation was made for two people only. How does that even happen? As a result, we were constantly harassed to pay for additional days because Snaptravel didn't resolve the issue before we arrived. It's really frustrating to think about what would have happened if we didn't have another credit card with a thousand dollars on it.
Despite their website stating that all their bookings are 100% guaranteed, Snaptravel has done nothing but give me lies and excuses. They were supposed to have sent me a payment of $569 on April 13th, which never came. Two weeks ago, they were also supposed to have sent me an additional payment of $404, which also never came. When I made the reservation online, I only used one credit card, which was a Visa. However, there have been no additional credits on this card, according to my bank. I've been requesting someone from the urgent care team to call me back and update me with what's going on, but my phone has never rung.
I'm so fed up with Snaptravel's lack of customer service and their inability to do their job. This experience has really ruined my vacation, and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. From leaving us waiting in the hotel lobby for five hours during check in to not being able to resolve the issue after a month, it's been one disappointment after another. It's completely unacceptable, and I highly suggest using a professional booking company instead. After reading the numerous negative reviews and complaints on the complaintsboard.com's website, I urge you to stay away from Snaptravel.
Unreliable and Unhelpful: My Experience with SnapTravel
SnapTravel is an online booking service that claims to offer great deals and values customer service. Recently, I booked through SnapTravel for my band's performance in Brooklyn, New York. Interestingly, the online deal offered by SnapTravel for Hotel Indigo Williamsburg - Brooklyn made it possible for me to conduct the performance because it cut the typical Brooklyn hotel weekend rate in half.
Based on the deal offered by SnapTravel, I immediately booked my hotel lodgings through them for 2 weekend nights. As a precaution, SnapTravel sent a confirmation text that the Hotel Indigo Williamsburg - Brooklyn was ready for my stay. However, upon arriving at the Hotel Indigo Williamsburg - Brooklyn premises, I was shocked to learn that the hotel was shut down for cleaning and had been for a few weeks. This put me in a difficult situation, as I had to make last-minute arrangements for accommodations while carrying band gear without a safe place to store it.
SnapTravel did not offer to help me find alternate accommodations or inform me that the hotel had been closed for cleaning for several weeks. My bandmates and I were the ones who informed SnapTravel of the situation. I had to quickly find last-minute accommodations on a popular event weekend, which resulted in me losing the deal offered by SnapTravel and paying full rate instead.
While I believe in the power of online booking services, my experience with SnapTravel has proven that they are not dependable or trustworthy. SnapTravel only refunded the non-existent deal and provided a 20% credit towards another SnapTravel trip, which did not alleviate my loss. In the end, their chat-only communication style and lack of customer service left me dissatisfied with their service.
It is my hope that SnapTravel will recognize their mistake and take appropriate action to compensate their customer better in similar situations. Until then, I cannot recommend SnapTravel to anyone who requires dependable and trustworthy travel arrangements.

Snaptravel Review: Proceed with Caution - Disappointing Experience with Unsatisfactory Customer Service
I recently had an experience with Snaptravel that I would like to share. While my usual method for booking hotels is to avoid third party booking sites, I found myself in an unfamiliar situation where my go-to hotels were fully booked. At this point, I had no choice but to make a booking through Reservation Stay/SnapTravel for a stay in early October at a Clarion Inn in Lancaster, PA. The photos provided showed a typical 2-star hotel with a Clarion sign; however, upon receiving the booking receipt from Hammock Hotel, I began to suspect that something was amiss.
Upon arriving at the destination, my worst fears were confirmed when I discovered a sign on the door declaring the building as unsanitary and unsafe for habitation, dated from September 3. Despite our attempts to call all available numbers, we were met with no success. We then began an e-mail trail with their Urgent Care team, but instead of addressing their mistake quickly and reimbursing our credit card, we were asked to provide an invoice from the defunct hotel and an invoice from our alternate choice. This exchange left us feeling like the victims of a scam.
After this encounter, I would definitely advise travelers to use extreme caution when booking through Snaptravel. Their inability to take responsibility for their errors is concerning and calls into question their level of trust and credibility. While the idea behind the platform sounded promising, it did not meet our expectations and unfortunately resulted in a lot of frustration and disappointment.
Snaptravel Review: A Cautionary Tale for Booking Emergency Flights
Snaptravel is a third-party website that offers discounted travel packages, including emergency flights. Recently, I had to book an emergency flight through Snaptravel, however, my experience with them has been less than satisfactory. After purchasing the flight, I did not receive any email confirmation about my purchase. Worried that the purchase had not gone through, I called my bank to check if there were any pending transactions. To my surprise, there was no transaction on my account for the day, indicating that my purchase did not go through. Frustrated, I decided to buy the flight directly from the airline instead.
Four hours later, to my shock, I received an email confirmation and booking from Snaptravel. Rather than celebrate my purchase, I immediately called Snaptravel to request a cancellation and refund of my payment. During my call, I was informed that a ticket would have to be put in to the manager for a refund, but the flight I had purchased was scheduled for the next day. Despite this fact, the confirmation email I had received from Snaptravel stated that "Your flights are not yet booked. Being that you're purchasing a discounted ticket, it may take up to 12 hours to book your flights. Usually it's instant, but in some cases, especially overnight and on weekends, it may take a bit longer depending on the airlines."
After contacting them for a cancellation and refund, I was extremely disappointed to receive an email from Snaptravel after the flight had already passed, stating that the flight was already under airport control. This delay meant that Snaptravel had purposely delayed the email, and I had no way of knowing that they had booked my flight without my consent.
I am currently trying to dispute this transaction with my financial institution, and I would caution anyone from using Snaptravel for any of their travel needs.
Unsatisfactory Experience with Snaptravel - False Sales Practices and Misleading Information
I recently had a less than satisfactory experience with Snaptravel and would like to share my thoughts with others. Initially, I booked a room for two weeks through the Snaptravel website. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I found that the room was not in good shape and did not match the description provided during the booking process. Naturally, I raised the issue with the hotel's General Manager, Mr. Kiwon.
Thankfully, Mr. Kiwon agreed to provide a full refund for the remaining days of my stay and offered his apologies for the inconvenience caused. I submitted the necessary paperwork to Snaptravel's amendments team in order to receive the refund, but to my surprise, no refund was ever issued. I was informed by Snaptravel that this was the decision of a third-party travel partner that they had worked with. This was particularly frustrating to me as I had paid Snaptravel directly and was not aware that they were using third-party partners during the booking process.
Despite Mr. Kiwon's approval and the withdrawal of funds from the hotel's account, no refund was issued by Snaptravel. This is a clear indication of false sales practices and misleading information by the company. As a result, I would not recommend Snaptravel to anyone looking to book travel accommodations.
I believe that it is important for those facing similar situations to speak out and share their experiences. I am more than happy to speak with others about my experience and even consider taking legal action or sharing my story with local news outlets. False representations by companies such as Snaptravel are unacceptable, and it's time that we all come together to put an end to them.
In summary, my experience with Snaptravel was disappointing, and I urge others to think twice before using their services. It is essential to do your research and read reviews before booking with any company to ensure that you are receiving accurate information and fair treatment.

Avoid Snaptravel: Terrible Customer Service, False Advertising, and Scam Practices
Wow, where do I even begin with my experience using Snaptravel (snaptravel.com)? Let me start by saying that my supposed one night stay in a hotel suite with 2 beds for 4 guests, living area, oceanview, balcony and a no-penalty cancellation fee through tomorrow at midnight (~36 hours) turned out to be a complete nightmare!
Firstly, the confirmation email that was sent to me after booking my stay had almost everything incorrect! Instead of a room with 2 beds for 4 guests, I was booked for a room with 1 bed for 2 guests. Not to mention, the room was facing the opposite direction of the ocean, had no balcony or living area and had absolutely no refunds or cancellations permitted.
So, I reached out to the customer service team to try and rectify these errors, but to no avail. 6 different associates hung up on me, and 2 of them even gave me fake extensions to call back if the call "dropped" (which later associates confirmed didn't exist). I was lied to continuously by the customer service team, who then claimed that cancellation was only possible if the hotel allowed it. However, after calling the hotel, I found out that the hotel had no power to cancel the reservation since it was booked through Snaptravel.
After all of this, I was left with a room that I never wanted and was charged $300 over the standard going rate. Worst of all, there was nothing I could do as the bank couldn't dispute the charge as there was no physical proof. This, of course, was due to the original agent cutting the call before I could document everything that was wrong.
All in all, I would highly recommend avoiding Snaptravel for any future bookings as credit to them, they've put everything in place to cover their [censored] once they steal your money.
Snaptravel Review: Overpriced, Frustrating Customer Service, Not Worth the Risk
When it comes to booking travel accommodations, you want a service that is reliable and efficient. Unfortunately, Snaptravel falls short in both of these categories. Their customer service is incredibly frustrating to deal with, as you can only speak to an agent if they happen to be working at that particular time. If the agent you initially speak to isn't on shift, you're out of luck - this happened to me multiple times. Their prices are also incredibly inflated compared to what you can find via a simple Google search. In my case, the airline tickets they quoted me were $300 more expensive than the price I found on the airline's website.
To add insult to injury, when I looked up Snaptravel's CEO on Twitter, I found him boasting about their supposed $1 billion valuation. It's mind-boggling that a company with such poor customer service and overpriced rates could be worth that much.
I ended up losing out on $500 due to my dealings with Snaptravel, but it was worth it to avoid any further interactions with them. In fact, I'm considering getting a few extra phone lines so I can emulate their "wait for the agent to start their shift" approach and maybe make myself a billionaire too (just kidding, of course).
Overall, I would not recommend Snaptravel to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable travel booking service.
SnapTravel Review: Borderline Fraudulent and Poor Customer Service
On her trip to DisneyWorld's Swan Hotel, Janice Billingsley made the mistake of unknowingly booking through Snaptravel rather than directly through the hotel itself. Unfortunately, this mistake ended up costing her quite a bit. After booking a stay for five nights, she discovered that the reservation agent had mistakenly only booked four nights. When she asked Snaptravel to honor their original price, the agent would not comply, claiming that the price had gone up during the short time it took to correct the mistake. This caused Janice to escalate the issue and attempt to contact the management of the company. After several phone calls and emails, she found herself incredibly dissatisfied with the level of customer service and the lack of a suitable refund. In the end, she received a credit for $100, which didn't come close to covering the difference in price. Janice believes that this company is borderline fraudulent and highly advises against entrusting them with your money. While the initial confusion about booking may have been her own fault, the lack of support and service from Snaptravel during the issue makes it clear that this is a risky company to work with.
Snaptravel: Unreliable Booking Service with Poor Customer Support - A Review
Recently, I had to make a last-minute trip to visit my family and decided to book a hotel online. I stumbled upon Snaptravel.com, and to my delight, found a deal that was $28 cheaper than the other options available. Without hesitation, I clicked on the link, and after confirming my date and payment details, I received confirmation email from Snaptravel that my reservation was confirmed.
However, much to my dismay, when I arrived at the hotel just a few minutes later, I was informed that there was no reservation in my name. After contacting the Snaptravel customer service representative, I was told that they could not help, but they would escalate the issue to the relevant department that would contact me as soon as possible to resolve the issue. However, despite waiting for 15 minutes, I did not receive any call back from the department.
Contacting them again, this time I was lucky enough to find a representative who took ownership of the situation and promised to escalate it. He assured me that I would receive a text message and phone call from them almost instantly, but once again, there was no communication from their end. When I called them once again, the representative claimed that they did try to contact me and that I need to confirm my phone number again so that they can send the messages.
The representative also tried to convince me that the hotel would be able to help me out, but they were not able to do anything about the situation much to my surprise. As the entire process was taking too much time, and it was already 1:30 am, I had no choice but to book an available room at Motel6 to avoid sleeping in the car.
I was frustrated beyond measure that such a situation had arisen due to no fault of mine. I double-checked all information input by me and found out that nowhere did I select a date for the upcoming week. Every search and booking made contained the same dates. Furthermore, and to my disbelief, I am yet to receive any information or resolution from Snaptravel.
As of now, I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Snaptravel and cannot recommend it to anyone. It was a stressful, unpleasant experience that took a lot of my time and effort, only to lead to an unsatisfactory outcome.
Unreliable Customer Support and Suspicious Practices: My Experience with Snaptravel
I recently had a rather frustrating experience with Snaptravel and I just had to share it. I came across the website while searching for a hotel in Baltimore, Maryland, at a specific hotel. The rates that Snaptravel was offering were extremely low and I must admit I was a little apprehensive. After some research and reading mixed reviews, I decided to take a chance and book a reservation. Unfortunately, just a day before our travel date, I received an email for Dean from customer support informing me that my reservation had to be canceled due to a Covid outbreak. I was left feeling bewildered and a little suspicious.
At the same time, however, I was offered a refund along with a 20% credit for future travel or reservations at another hotel in the vicinity. I took a peek at the reviews for the alternative hotel on offer and they were terrible, so I asked for a refund instead. As expected, I was beginning to feel like my trust in Snaptravel was misplaced. Just to confirm the situation, I called the original hotel and was told that they were open and there were no emergencies in the area. This was a red flag for me, and I immediately contacted Snaptravel to have my reservation reinstated. However, even after sending four emails over two days, there was no response at all from Snaptravel. This only added to my frustration and concerns.
The saving grace in this situation came in the form of an unexpected surprise. To our amazement, the hotel mistakenly canceled only one of our two rooms. Thankfully, a diligent and helpful staff member at the hotel was able to work with us and we walked away with two rooms. Still, even after my experience, I did not hear a word from Snaptravel. It's hard not to suppose they had ulterior motives for canceling my reservation. Perhaps there was a need to make space for someone else who was willing to pay more than we were.
In conclusion, while Snaptravel may offer impressive discounts, I would caution and implore anyone considering using their service to beware of their reliability. Based on my experience, their customer support is seriously disappointing and their practice certainly suggests that they put profit ahead of customer service. If only I had paid more to book directly with the hotel, I could have avoided all of this stress and headache.
Avoid Snap Travel and Booking Vault: A Scam Targeting Travelers
I recently had an unfortunate experience booking a flight with Snap Travel that left a bitter taste in my mouth. While my initial confirmation code was ST347697, my flight was unfortunately canceled by the airline. Naturally, I called the airline to resolve the issue, but to my dismay, I was informed that they could not help me since everything had been booked through Snap Travel.
From that point on, the situation only got worse, and I began to feel as though I had fallen into a trap. I contacted both Snap Travel and Booking Vault, which appears to work in conjunction with SnapTravel, to no avail. It took what felt like an eternity for either of these entities to respond to me, by which time the date I was supposed to fly home had long since passed.
In what felt like a last-ditch effort, Snap Travel and Booking Vault finally managed to get back to me with an alternative flight. Unfortunately, though, the flight was set to take off in just a few hours' time, leaving me absolutely no time to make it to the airport. I tried to get in touch with them to explain this but received no response, and from then on, my troubles only mounted.
I was stranded in Europe with no way to make it back home to the USA and was forced to shell out extra money for everything from hotels to food to transportation as I waited to find a way home. Despite my repeated attempts to get in touch with Snap Travel and Booking Vault, they remained unresponsive and refused to refund or compensate me for their lack of support.
Given my frustrations with Snap Travel and Booking Vault, I'm inclined to advise against using their services. These providers seem to work together, targeting people and scamming them to steal their money. My personal experience was undoubtedly terrible, and I'm not the only person who's had this kind of experience. It wouldn't surprise me if legal action was taken against these unscrupulous companies in the near future.
Disappointing experience with Snaptravel: Failed reservation and no compensation
Recently, I planned a fantastic trip with my friends to South Beach, and being from San Diego, I booked my hotel via Snaptravel, an online travel agency. After an exhausting red-eye flight, I called the hotel to find out if I could check-in early to get some sleep, and thankfully they agreed. However, when I reached the hotel, they did not have my booking. Immediately, I contacted Snaptravel, who acknowledged that their travel partners had not pushed through the reservation to the hotel. This was their mistake and should not have occurred.
Subsequently, I was transferred between 3-4 agents who kept promising to resolve the issue promptly, but nothing was forthcoming. At this point, my girlfriend and I have been waiting for what seemed like ages at the lobby, and I was slowly running out of patience. Finally, an agent gave me two options. The first was to shift to another property or book my stay separately with the hotel, and in the latter case, I would be refunded my original amount. However, the refund would not cover the additional amount charged by the hotel. I reluctantly agreed and made the extra payment.
To my dismay, Snaptravel refunded only the original amount and refused to compensate for the remaining amount, which I would have received if they had booked the reservation correctly. Because of this, I was left with a sour taste in my mouth and spent most of my day trying to resolve the issue, instead of enjoying my stay in the vibrant city.
Overall, my experience with Snaptravel was incredibly disappointing, as they failed to follow through on their promise to save me money and time. Consequently, I would never trust or recommend them to anyone else.
