Thanks to Jason G with Snyder Heating and Air for his quick help in fixing my air conditioner. Another (terrible) company put in the wrong unit, but Jason came to help right away. The Snyder team all worked together and got my new acs (my home and a rental) installed really fast. I really recommend Snyder. Thank you!

My one and only experience with Snyder happened in August and was, to put it mildly, terrible. I found every person I had contact with to be untrustworthy. Snyder sent me an offer in the mail to clean my system for a cost of $40.00, which I agreed to and scheduled. The system was working fine. The technician arrived and finished at around 4 PM on that day. However, the house became extremely hot, reaching 90 degrees (it was a very hot period). I contacted Snyder and they sent a second technician who told me that the problem was a leak in the condenser coil, causing a lack of freon. I then had the displeasure of speaking with their service manager, a rather unpleasant person named ***, who suggested that I buy replacement parts and pay Snyder almost three thousand dollars to install them, which was nearly the cost of a brand new system. Instead of fixing what they had broken, they tried to charge me thousands of dollars. After I filed a lawsuit in small claims court, their insurance company offered me a little over $900.00. I wouldn't trust these people to wash my car. Consider yourself warned. I had to give them at least one star for this review, but they don't deserve it.

We had our air conditioner replaced and duct work done in our house by Snyder Heating & Air. They told us they needed to make a cut in the ceiling for the duct work because the salesperson didn't measure properly beforehand. They didn't put any material before connecting the air handler, so now we have big gaps that we can't reach with sheet rock. We've called Snyder multiple times to fix the open spaces. They sent a sheet rock person on 5/13 to check it out, and he said they should've called him before finishing so he could close the gaps. But now there's not enough room for him to reach the openings. We can't keep having these holes open because they let in hot air and other outdoor stuff. This isn't the quality of service we expected for an $11,000 job.

I've been with Snyder Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electric for 12 years now, thanks to their service contract. Supposedly, this contract covers free diagnostic services up to $100.00 and gives me a 15% discount on repair parts. So, on October 25, my AC stopped working, and I had to call for a service. The technician came and discovered that it needed a Capasitor, which they installed. But then, they handed me a bill totaling $363.60. They charged me twice for the diagnostic service, once for the visit and once for the installation and diagnostics of the part. And to make matters worse, they charged me nearly $200 for a part that only costs $24.00... I called them three times, and they promised me a refund, but I never received it. My wife called as well, and they promised her a refund too, but once again, no refund. I even tried to dispute the charge on my credit card, but they're resisting my efforts to make things right. It's just not right to overcharge a senior citizen like this. I even emailed the company about previous repairs for the same part, which cost less than $50 to install. But they never replied. I want to file a complaint and let others know how this company mistreats seniors who often rely on written contracts to ensure that their repairs are covered.
