Online order with curbside pickup
Today we ordered online for the first and last time spent $51.02 prior tax and tip. We ordered strawberry lemonade and raspberry tea received two strawberry lemonade’s. Then on the egg roll. Put in comments asking for an extra sauce and on the orca that did not need the ranch sauce but please add the smokin’ sauce. They kept the ranch but did not put in the smokin’ on either of the two sides which were the items to make 1 meal. My concern is that we either only read what we want to or we do not know how to read. This is my husband’s favorite location to eat out but I can take it or leave it and after this it will be awhile before I will think about spending in more hard earned money. Thank you A DeWitt
Desired outcome: Make sure that any staff that was working about 2:30 pm on 6/4/22 are made aware that this is not how to keep service and the tip was not deserved.
Very rude and refused to answer the phone
So my AC went out (family of 5) I got up at 4am in the morning went to work back home at 6pm AC is still not fixed we did not want to heat up the house so we decided to spend our hard-earned money at Sonnys however the woman refused to answer the phone to take her order so my wife called and continued to call so I left the house drove there and she was still calling by the time I got there I have a video of her telling me she refused to answer the phone because she’s working by her self “even though there was like 6 girls working! I videoed her telling me she is not and will not answer the phone and this is exactly the reason that Sonnys BBQ in fort pierce Florida has such a terrible name! I am boiling right now and want to make this video viral but I’m hoping someone will reach out to me and fix the situation before so…. But probably not [protected]
Desired outcome: I believe with all my heart that the woman should be let go ,this is not how you work in this industry and she needs to learn that asap! I am not for letting people go but in this case this is absolutely absurd

I’ve been calling this store since 8:05! Keep in mind they don’t close until 9. No answer. This has happened on several occasions. You can’t place an order online, it gives you a code stating that they’re closed. Change your business hours online if you only wish to operate when it’s convenient for staff. We are former employees that used to work at Sonny’s BBQ Shane Kras and Romarie Gwynn we used to work there they had fired us because we became homeless. We have been asking for our w-2 forms for about a month everyone had received There’s we keep calling no one respond to us we travel miles just to go check on them it’s one thing after another we spotted roaches in the Restaurant even when I was a cook in the kitchen I had dropped the brisket on the floor I was about to throw it away but I asked the manager what should I do with it he said put it back in the C-bap to serve to the customers and the servers never have on gloves when they touch the food we enjoyed working there but it’s secrets behind the whole Restaurant we don’t intend on things to get right away but it has been over a month we call they decline our calls we go up there they make up excuses or say they have to ask the owner so we decided to search and ask for corporate to file a complaint we truely do all this respectfully we don’t disrespect them we just want our w-2 forms so we can live our lives and help out 78 ur old grandma out without our w-2 forms we don’t have no income at the moment we’re homeless with our grandmother and we aren’t currently working either. We are talking to a lawyer right now about the situation because our grandma said it shouldn’t take this long for them to replace our W-2 forms or contact the owner of the restaurant she said if contacting Sonny‘s corporate office does not work we are talking about suing sonnys company we don’t want to but right now we are struggling and it’s like they are not trying to help us out.

Food cold
My Husband and I went to your New Port Richey location yesterday. We go there about once a month and never had a problem.
This visit was the worst, the restaurant was extremely cold which mirrored the weather outside. My Husbands food sliced pork and sweet potato were cold,only the beans were hot. not to mention the meat was dry. He asked it to be hot and problem that was resolved. The new meat was still dried out, From Last evening ? My food was warm, maybe it's because we were there earlier the day ? Considering the cost was upwards to $40 with tip it will be a quite awhile before we are comfortable with going back.

My half chicken and baked beans was not good at all, the chicken didnt taste smoked and it WASN'T DONE. The beans taste like straight out of the can, we were very disappointed and still hungry cause we threw it out because it wasn't cooked properly.

My sister and I typically go to Sonnys BBQ near our offices at least 3 times per month. We went to the location in St. Augustine yesterday and arrived about 12:40 p.m. We ordered our food and waited. After about 30 minutes my sister asked the waitress why was there such a delay in our order. She said because they had a lot of takeouts. I told my sister that I needed to get back to my office so she went and spoke with the waitress who told her our food would be out in a few minutes. Someone else brought the food and the order was wrong so we had to send it back. The waitress never checked on us. When she told a customer next to us that their food was going to be delayed the person said it didn't matter. The waitress turned around and looked at us and said I wish more people were like you. We sat there for 45 minutes without food on a lunch hour. How would she have felt if she had that kind of wait? I assure you, not great. This is our first issue with this restaurant and I am disappointed.

I went to sonny's bbq 11/04/21 in Valdosta, GA. I went through the drive-thru and placed my order of two Cubans sandwich combo and before I could even put my drinks in the cup holder the person at the window (woman) asked me to pull around to the front door and she will bring the food out to me. I said okay. I waited 12-15 mins while other customer in line were honking their horns at me to move my car when the lady asked me to move my car to the front door so I started to get annoyed and frustrated. after almost 15 mins goes by she comes out with 4 bags of food so that tells me that my food was already finished and she was waiting for all the other people food that were in line also waiting. I feel like that is unfair because if I'm the first person to place my order I should've been got my food when it was ready not when everybody else food is ready also. To have my fries cold and my sandwich soggy is not right at all. Either you guys need to hire people with a sense of urgency or you need a new drive thru method because that is not it. Sliced pork/garlic bread
My pork is ice cold when I received it. The bread is mushy and I can't eat it. This the first time in years I have eaten sonnys. I don't think I will be back. The corn on the cob is tough and I am truly disappointed. I also requested yellow sauce and received red. That is what I have to say.

I called the Duck Wilson location 10/15/21 at 8:35 pm and was out on hold fir 35 minutes at 9:20 I called from a different phone and was still waiting and was finally told it was too late order very unprofessional customer service. And we are regulars. Very upsetting.
Attitude/Behavior Encountered
Order #[protected]. Upon discovering order was incomplete from Curbside order placed, employee already had an attitude & advised if I wanted the drink which I tried to show her on receipt, I'd need to follow her inside to obtain & she abruptly left before I could explain that she also failed to include correct sauce packets. Upon entering bldg, I waited up front to see where she had gone to find out she was dangling the Iced Tea from an area in the back at bar advising, "here it is", had to go into bar to get, where all other employees were hanging out. I advised at that point, I was also missing sauce packets where she advised they were in the bag. I told her no, only 1 of the flavors were in the bag & not the other. Employee had pink long extensions & just horrible customer service. What was purpose of providing a tip @ curbside when you have to follow an unruly employee completely in store & attitude displayed in front of other employees. I'll never give a tip at curbside. This location is absolutely the worst & employees need customer service skills, , BADLY.

I am usually a very passive person. I keep my mouth closed when I am given duties to perform that is un der my paygrade. well, on Tues. Aug. 10th 2021,
the manager on duty had me run down a greasy hallway to see if my shoes were skid proof. I had already told him that the 2 managers on duty two days before had seen them and saw that they were skid proof. I actually bought the wrong ones and had to go buy another pair. I felt very uncomfortable . I'm trying to put into words exactly how it made me feel but I was so embarrassed that I did not return to Sonny's to work after that.
It was such a hard decision for me to make because I had been trying to get a job for over a year. What if I had fallen and really hurt myself? I am 49 years old and have had a very hard life and my bones and body aren't capable of handling a fall. he also had me take a very dirty cart out back and clean it in the dark while he walked around talking to a waitress about the hickeys on her neck. He saw all the mopping and cleaning I was doing and still had me do his work. I was hired as a cook not just a kitchen cleaner.
Desired outcome: Well I don't want to work with people who have me do work they don't even do. To many people watched me as I ran down the hall, twice. I dont really kniow what I want done. I would like to talk to a lawyer to see if I have any options.

We ordered online for the 3611 hey 98n in Lakeland Florida the associate who brought food to the car was not very pleasant, no thank you enjoy or even a smile... Get the food home no napkins no BBQ sauce and the onions were hanging outside of the box the ribs were dry This is the second time we've had poor service at this location I took pics so sad

I was told my online order would be ready at 7:28pm. I walk in the door at 7:30pm and walk back out the door at 7:49pm with my food. That's a big time window when I am in a rush to get back home. By the time I got back home my fries were cold. I don't know about you, but I don't like cold fries. I feel my food should have been ready by 7:30pm when I walked through the door. Grab and go is what I was expecting...sit and wait is what I ended up doing! My family was wandering if I was ok because I took so long.

This Sonny's seems to hire some rude waitresses.For every 3 that are good there is always that one bad apple in the bunch. Not everyone that works in the food service, customer service industry is cut out for that type of work. Maybe server jobs are some of the easiest jobs to get when you need a job, I don't know. Although asked what type of sauce I wanted, no one mentioned there was no butter or honey for the corn bread and absolutely nothing to put on the sweet potatoe.
