I had my procedure done the first week of January. I first had problems with my belly button, it was oozing .I went back they gave me some things to do that eventually got better. This was the recreated belly button. Which does not even resemble a belly button at all it looks like a dent in my stomach. Also there is a incision where they sewed up my...

Sono Bello Venus legacy

I went there for my skin issue and asked for consultation. They suggested me Venus legacy and showed me some pictures which were all copied from internet. First, I got a package with 5 sessions and they told me you would see noticable result after this package. After the last session, I saw myself in a mirror and saw some change due to just temporary burn and swollen area. I got very happy and got another package that day. When I got home, I felt pain on my skin and my skin was burned and red. After few days, the swollen area was better and I noticed my skin still the same. I called them right a way and cancelled my appointments which the first one was a week after. I asked for refund but after 3 weeks they called me and told me it is non refundable and you need to use your sessions. I did not get any result with my first package and now they are telling me I must go for the new sessions and no refund. I have not gone for any session of the second package.

Sono Bello Cool sculpting

I had a procedure done in September 2021.The procedure was both for my husband and I. He was not satisfied with his results but my complaints in my case go beyond that. I had cool sculpting done on my waist, bra and side flank area. First of all, the procedure done was extremely painful with the doctor seeing me in pain and asking me if I was ok. It was more painful than anything I have ever experienced in my life. At one point during the procedure, I felt the instrument being used in my shoulder blade and I complained of pain. As a result, I now have permanent nerve pain in my should with constant pain 24/7 since that day. Not only that, my body is completely disfigured especially under my bra area having had no result and the side left area which I complained about since the second follow up is bulging out leaving a pocket of fat and bulge. It is extremely sad that I now have to deal with this result and will never be the same without some follow up procedure like liposuction. I will NOT endure this pain of the procedure again and we are both not satisfied and it is extremely visible why this is the case.

Desired outcome: Corrected date of procedure

Sono Bello Cruel and barbaric negligent - Dr. Allison

I wanted to feel better about myself and had made an appointment at the Woodbridge, VA location for the free consultation. I met with Courtney Wheeler. I had also filled out the forms of my medical conditions which included Hydrocodone 10-325 two times daily for chronic pain. She was very kind and let me and shared that her brother passed away from pain killers and was worried for me, which was very sweet. I shared my brother passed away just like hers did. We both clicked.

She was a great representative and was impressed. And thought to myself I can’t wait for this transformation of feeling pretty again and boost my self-confidence. Surely, SonoBello would take good care of me. Paid nearly $ 13k up front.

Shortly after meeting with Courtney I was scheduled for a preop and went to Tysons Corner looking forward to a new beginning. I get there and a male nurse/tech greeted me. He was very nice and took pics so there would be a before and after results. Shortly after, Dr. Allison came in to go over what he would work on in terms of my body parts. I wanted a lot of areas taken care of in one day. He stated it would too much lidocaine to give in one day. I would need to have two separated procedures which I appreciated.

I had asked the nurse/tech what they would give me for pain. He said I would be fine, and it’ll be okay and ‘out of it.’ Again, trusted I would be well taken care of.

Surely, SonoBello would give me enough pain medication the morning of surgery. That’s what they do right? Don’t they see what meds I am on? Right?

On the day of surgery a nurse that was helping out; gave me the meds orally and placed an IV in my wrist. My perception was that I would get more pain meds intravenously and again, trusted all would be fine. She gave me two pain pills (maybe Hydrocodone or Percocet) and Xanex orally.

Shortly after the ‘nurse that was helping out’ (she is caucasian) left and waited for a different nurse and her name is ‘Dez.’ Not sure of the spelling of her name and she is African American. Mind you, there were two nurses and no communication between the two of them; it was quite chaotic. Dez came in and brought me to the Operation Room (OR). I informed her that I am going to need more medication. She told me I should have told Dr. Allison at preop — HE saw my form I filled out at preop, isn’t that his job? Jesus.

I was terrified! To be awake procedure with just the oral meds the nurse gave me was unfathomable.

Dr. Allison came in the room and didn’t even give me the courtesy of asking how I am; not even greeting me; coupled with no bedside manners at all. He started to get the tools for the procedure, and I informed him of my high tolerance and asked for another Xanex. He said ‘We will see’ with a nasty tone. I thought to myself, ok, he is going to numb me and AGAIN trusted everything would be okay.

Dr. Allison, injected me with lidocaine in the areas of where he would work on. Dez held my hand as I cried in pain and screaming for more medication – Xanex to be specific. He kept going, again asked please for pain medication, he didn’t let up. He kept moving my arm with force and I told him to stop man handling me.

It was barbaric and cruel. I was shaking so badly and begged for mercy.

I don’t usually share this, but I am in therapy for being raped not once, but twice. When I got home, I cried and cried and cried.

You see, when one is raped, typically the victim will yell ‘STOP!’ When I pleaded Dr. Allison to let up, he didn’t care to stop which sparked trauma and relive those feelings all over. I am traumatized ALL over again! My heart is so hurt right now.

After I got home, I googled Dr. Allison’s name and found there was a lawsuit against for being negligent and operating on the wrong breast of woman who had breast cancer. It’s public record.

After a week I went for my post-op appointment, January 20th 2023 and Ms. Angelica greeted me after the appointment. She sat next to me, and had the nerve to say, she wants NEXT experience with SonoBello to be of improvement. I told her won’t be a next time…to even think there would be is pathetic. What next time? Jesus. I literally cried.

I am very happy with the results thus far, but am unhappy about my feelings are crushed.

SonoBello – how are you going to move forward to giving the proper dosage of medication to future people that have a high tolerance to pain meds in the near future? Meds really shouldn’t be one size for all, we are different in many ways and hope you nip this in the bud.

Desired outcome: For SONOBELLO to STOP being Cruel. All money back or I will seek council.

During my consultation visit to SB, I advised Bailey that I was interested in the Lipo procedure for my abdominal areas and inner thighs. She advised me that I'd be a good candidate for the AbEx procedure because I had a bit of extra skin on my belly that may be excessive once I had lipo. After the appointment and researching results and testimonials, I did not see myself being a good benefactor due to the prior surgical scars.

After surgery, I did not see immediate results. Proceeding each appointment there were little to no changes in size and/or weight. I have been valiant in my efforts to attempt to explain my concerns to SB-Austin and they have been lax and disinterested, to say the least. I've sent reviews, requested my file, and voiced my complaints to Dr. O directly. Multiple times he's stated my abdominal area was too stiff/hard to correct. So after hearing it multiple times, I've consulted with my OBGYN and urologist only to discover what he's calling "stiff" is actually scar tissue from prior surgeries [2 C-Sections and a Nephroctomy]. This was made obvious to Dr. O pre-op and during the procedure, yet he chose to continue with the skin removal without removing the scar tissue. Once fully healed the scar tissue noticeably protrudes at the incision of the AbEX, which makes for a discouraging and heartbreaking overhang. The visual of a consistently pregnant woman. Not only that, the initial scar from the surgeries was not surgically hidden and my belly button was not hidden. So not only do I have multiple incision scars, protruding stomach, but I also have two very visual belly buttons.

Not making any excuses, however, every moment I look in the mirror [which I have stopped doing as much as possible] I see a butchered stomach abnormally structured and I paid $16,000.00 to be mutilated to a point, I'm emotionally distraught and in counseling trying to accept my body, as I'm still financially responsible. I had a consultation at another facility before choosing SB-Austin, the price I was quoted was $7845 for the BBL procedure in December 2022. I did not want fat transfers or butt enhancement, I just wanted fat removal from my mid-section and inner thighs.

I trusted your intake consultant, staff, and board-certified doctor and walked away physically mutilated and depressed because of the narcissistic responses and attitude of the doctor when his mistakes were brought to his attention. I believe he was very intentional in ensuring he did not do corrective surgery. I believe the process was very intentional in selling a procedure for profit, I did not want nor would offer an optimal outcome for someone with my prior medical history.

I advised of my concern in reviews following each appointment. I have requested a copy of my file and did not receive it in its entirety, what I did receive was not organized well which is a reflection of the facility.

The communication is terrible, the staff stays employed long enough to get their procedures and leave so the overturn is high [I have yet to see the same assistant twice], the office manager is rude and does not respond well to communication [also a recipient of surgery], and although they've agreed to do a satisfaction surgery with Dr. Turner in June. I'm not certain he can correct this egregious mistake unless they complete a full tummy tuck. Armed with the knowledge that this surgery will not possibly correct the mistakes Dr. O made I would like a partial refund for the ABEX procedure. As this is the procedure that has harmed me more than helped. I have another appointment with my OBGYN because the scar tissue has transitioned to a portion of my genital area that causes continuous discomfort and keloids. I cry every night and have continuously gained weight because my stress levels are too high. Although still actively exercising, I am a truck driver and am sedentary a minimum of 13 hours a day behind the wheel.

I have pictures and my file but so does the Austin facility. I haven't decided which route I am going to take at this point because I want to be optimistic in hopes, Dr. Turner may be able to do what's needed but that's still five months away and I don't know if he'll still be there, as Dr. O is no longer at the location.

Desired outcome: I request a refund for the AbEX and would like another lipo session on my upper and lower ab, waist, and back.

Sono Bello Smart liposuction

Let me start with, I'm so disappointed!
I decided to seek help in this now horrific situation that I'm dealing with, looking at my own stomach. I wish I didn't take the Sono Bella route.

I did! I was to the point when I wanted/needed help with my stomach. I hated the weight gain in my stomach area. Too afraid of Plastic surgery and/or going under with Anesthesia.

When I went in for a consultation I met Kayla Abney 1st she was the person to deal with the finances Initially all I want it was my lower abdominal done for

4963 25. Once I met the doctor, he said that it would not look right unless I got the top of my abdominal done as well. It was the day of surgery, I was so eager I said okay. They charged me an additional 1,995.00. I was basically charged $7000.00 for this procedure that made my stomach look worst then I started. It is still big, now very wrinkle and uneven looking. Very Sad!

However, before the actual procedure The staff was pretty nice, attentive they answered all my questions that I could think of. They would not inform me of anything else. When I ask the nurse and Dr. Cooper. If there is anything that I forgot to ask or anything they could inform me of, they said No.

The day of my surgery, everything seems normal. Once doctor Cooper started, I felt the pain, I said to him, I feel it. I'm lifting my hand up, my right hand and he put it down & said keep your hand down. All the compassion I witnessed before my surgery went away.

I'm going to tell you what I felt. Doctor Cooper was hurting me during the procedure. I know it's not normal, I've been watching procedures online and they seem to go in the same direction up-and-down on sideways. I didn't feel that, tt felt like he was just going around, up, down, around & sideways all at one time. Almost like he was sawing a tree in my stomach in a wild manner. Again, he was just going back-and-forth, round and round up and down in no order. That is the best way I could explain it.

I was in lots of pain the 1st couple of days. I went to work after 5 days. I had to get a note to take additional days off.

I started to feel my stomach harden, I contacted the doctor. I can't remember, it was during my 6 months, tho. I did contact him and was told it was normal and that was the process. I knew in my heart that something was not right. I started to Google and I bumped into something called Fibrosis. I was told it's too early to determine if I had that. I started Lymphotic massages. I was in so much pain that the therapist didn't want to give me the massages. After the 2nd visit, she said o needed to heal more. I stopped the massages for a while. Jumping to my last appointment, I told him I wanted to meet with the doctor he has seen my stomach, he almost had like a grimace type of laugh on his face. He said, it seems like you have Fibrosis. Previous to our visit, I was told by my new message therapist that my upper abdomen was not done, meaning no Lipo on my upper Adominal. I told Dr. Cooper, He said it was not much to take out so I didn't really have to do it. I could not believe he told me that.

I said, why did you tell me to go back to Kayla then? To recalculate my payment. He said just go talk to Kayla and have an adjusted done. See what she can do for you. Those were his exact words that came out of doctor Cooper's mouth. As I was leaving, Kayla was busy, I waited for 48 hours for a phone call. Nothing! I ended up calling the Sonobella myself, I spoke to Kayla. Wow, she was so rude to me. KAYLA RIPPED ME OFF! She passed the phone off to one of the representatives named America, I believe that was her name. Again she was VERY rude, we went back-and-forth. I was so surprised this was the same staff. She told me I misunderstood, they do not refund money back. I'm very Sad with my results. Doctor Cooper just kept apologizing over and over and over. And that he could not do anything else for me. If I can't be help ed by you. I may need to contact a lawyer.

My stomach is wrinkle, I have a deep line that's visible and it's very lumpy, they can't get away with this. I did my part. I purchased so many gadgets to help me with my healing process as well. I was overcharged for this procedure. It's terrible that they could do people like this. We're trying to find confidence in certain area of our body and they took advantage. Please help me! I need to at least be refunded for my upper Abdominal. They lied and robbed me at the SonoBella La Jolla location.

Please contact me!

Desired outcome: Refund at least for my upper abdominal section. The least

Sono Bello Procedure

I had a procedure with Sono Bello in Troy, Michigan on Feb 26, 2021. When I went in for my consultation, I was debating between Sono Bello and another Doctor, the sales rep then started talking really bad about the other doctor that I was thinking of going to and completely putting him down. She convinced me that their procedure was better and less invasive and none of that was true and I wish I went to the other doctor instead of this place. I was told the laser Lipo would take about 3 to 4 hours and the downtime is 2 to 3 days. I was also told that I would barely feel any pain because it’s supposed to be minimally invasive. The day that I had my surgery scheduled, someone from the accreditation department was there and Sono Bello asked if he could stand in there and I said yes because I figured well the doctor can’t mess up since he’s in there. When they gave me the local anesthesia I fainted and the doctor and the nurse had to pick me up and put in a chair and I felt really sick and then when they put me on the table I started screaming in pain and asking him to stop. While the accreditation department was in there, the doctor did stop one time for maybe a minute but then when the accreditation department left, the doctor told the nurse well since he’s not coming back let’s do a little more and I kept screaming and telling him to stop and he wouldn’t stop all he kept telling me was I’m almost done. This was very traumatic for me because this made a childhood trauma resurface. Then after the procedure they put maxi pads over the cuts and I was bleeding everywhere and when the nurse took me to my husband, she was very concerned and told him “The doctor was extremely aggressive with her more than he should have been and I don’t understand why.” I have never in my life seen medical professionals cover cuts with maxi pads, my sister had to get medical supplies and bandaged me the proper way, however I was not told that I would bleed like that. Since the procedure, I have been in severe pain I keep getting dizzy, lightheaded and I’m unable to sleep right. This being a cosmetic procedure, if the patient says stop, I feel like we should have the right for him to stop and accept the appearance, not him make his own decision and continue that painful procedure. To make matters even worse, my abdomen is completely uneven and has made me even more insecure, and saw no difference in my back or arms. Sono Bello claims that they permanently remove fat which is very untrue because it does come back and twice as bad but it doesn’t stop there. Since then, I have had major back pain and stomach pain. My back from the top right to the center randomly locks up and puts me in so much pain and this started happening after the procedure, also my lower back, I cannot sleep at night or function throughout the day from this pain unless I take Motrin 800 along with bio freeze or icy hot patches and it takes hours for the pain to calm down for me to be able to sleep, which it doesn’t diminish the pain it only minimizes it, this also started happening after the procedure. I have also been having stomach issues ever since I’ve had this procedure I am constantly throwing up! I never used to throw up and now I’m throwing up at least a few times a week and it’s not certain foods that make me throw up it’s just a pain in my stomach that started after the procedure. The pain is from cut to cut where the incisions were made it burns, I feel like my skin is on fire on the inside and I am completely miserable. I have been taking so much Motrin and pain relievers that it caused me to have a miscarriage because I was taking them not knowing that I was pregnant. I have been unable to return to work because I am unable to stand or sit for long periods of time, also started after the procedure, and my life has not been the same since this procedure. It has been almost 2 years and I am still in this constant state of pain, I cannot get through my day without pain relievers. I’m not sure what they did to me, but I have never had these issues before this operation, never had any back problems or stomach issues. What I experienced and still experiencing, is completely unfair. This procedure completely destroyed my life. They won’t even give me my refund

Sono Bello Tri-sculpt

I went to SonoBello earlier this year for a consultation. I wanted to explore weight loss options. I had already tried NutriSystem and Isagenix. I was ready for a more stress I’ve solution to my weight problems. The consultant convinced me this was a good option, best option and guaranteed more than optimal results. I went into surgery with very high expectations. I had my first surgery the same month. I was awake through out the procedure which involved 12 puncture holes in my body to suck out unwanted fat cells. Following surgery I immediately had an adverse reaction. My body was swollen beyond the normal expectancy for this procedure. I have videos I shared with my SonoBello doctor; she confirmed that what I was going through was unusual and will require correction.

After 6 weeks of intense pain, swelling and discomfort, I went in for my second surgery. Same procedure. 12 additional incisions and 8 weeks of pain and discomfort followed. SonoBello did nothing to help me through the process. They actually made more money out of me by selling me compression garments as a solution.

I cannot even bear to look at myself in the mirror. My body is permanently disfigured. Sadly, I used a large sum of money $10K+ from my Wells Fargo account and $6K plus from my American Express for this body transformation and it has been a complete disaster. SonoBello is still trying to upsell me another package, which is simply bad business practice. It has affected me not just on a physical level, but it has left physical and emotional scars. I can provide images of my before and after; I can also provide photos how my body is now deformed and disproportionate and I’m twice the size I was when I went in for the procedure. They are actively avoiding my phone calls after I refused further surgeries.

Wells Fargo denied my claim saying it’s a non-regulation e compliance claim. $16,170 for surgeries and another $2,350 for compression garments. Plus, the fact that I have to stay covered all the time now to hide scars on my arms and back. Would really like some to one listen and provide resolution.

Desired outcome: I would like my money back. Ideally, I would like my body back but that’s not possible.

Sono Bello Dismissive staff

I contacted The Woodlands, TX, office last month. I have Graves disease, with RAI ablation of my thyroid Dec 2015, which has, in turn, caused me to become obese. (BMI approximately 35.5) The lethargy of my illness has, I know, contributed to the weight gain. I am also S/P (L) leg DVT Aug 2020, for which I currently take 5 mg BID Eliquis.

The "staff" at The Woodlands office would not even schedule a consultation, due to the Eliquis therapy, never mind that I have temporarily stopped it for hand surgery, eye surgery, and tooth extractions (it can be stopped as little as 12-24 hrs prior to a procedure). Plus, the anticipated weight loss from Sono Bello could mean I would not have to take Eliquis for the rest of my life (as I do now).

The staff became extremely condescending & patronizing - perhaps they're hoping I'll die, as I am 66 years old.

I don't know, maybe I should seek counsel, if Sono Bello is going to discriminate against me for overweight (?) with which they could assist me, or age (?) with which no one can assist me.

Desired outcome: Someone to treat me as capable of making informed decisions regarding risks I am prepared to assume

Sono Bello cancellation refund not received

Regarding Greenbrook office - I paid for my procedure on 10/31/22 - I requested a cancellation of that procedure due to health concerns on 11/1/22 - it took a couple days to get someone to address my request - after continuing to try to talk me into having the procedure - Jessica finally agreed to a refund minus the ~ $2000 + that would be retained for consultation. My payment was taken in a matter of minutes from the time of giving the credit card information - it has been 5 weeks since the refund was granted - I've received nothing - I am now paying interest on the credit card payment. I am requesting a FULL REFUND now and expect that request will be honored.

Desired outcome: Full Refund

Sono Bello Medical negligence

I am not a person who share my personal business. I am not a person who verbally voice their grievances, in writing. I am not litigious. But now, my horrific experience with Sono Bello St. Louis has changed me.

In October 2021, my birthday present to myself was to fix some “problem areas”. I had a procedure called Laser Liposuction on waist, side, and thighs at a cost of nearly $9,000.

One year later, I’m living with permanent body damage. The area liposuctioned around my side has left a permanent bikini line and one of my thighs are bigger than the other.

Dr. Zachary Willis, who performed the original surgery, is no longer at Sono Bello. The current doctors have refused to go in a “fix” another surgeons work.

After 400+ days of looking at a body that I no longer recognize and ashamed of….I no longer want to stay silent.

Sono Bello Body contouring service left me disfigured as well as as scammed me out of all my savings. I didn’t lose a pound! My body measurements, with irregular shaped thighs and and gapping line across my middle, changed….for the worst. My body I’m living with now is a body I don’t not recognize.

On two (2) separate occasions Sono Bello has offered me an offensive “satisfaction settlement”. The first at $600 and the second at $3,000. Both insults were refused. Neither amount would pay the interest racked up, let alone pay for reconstructive surgery.

Sono Bello lobby, located at 845 N. New Ballas Court Suite 360, Creve Coeur, MO 63141, clientele is jammed packed with women that look like. I’m acquainted with four other black women who have had similar procedures. Each woman has had little to no diffidence in the areas treated, yet each are weighed down with a price tag of $9,000 or more.

Recently I have requested my entire medical records from Sono Bello. After a signed release Sono Bello has not delivered the requested information.

I have had a difficult time obtaining a lawyer without the requested medical documents. I am fed up with the run-around and disgusted by my outcome.

At this point I will take matters into my own hands. I am posting all of my information on all the social media sites and Missouri Bar affiliates, to include doctors names, pre/post op pictures, appointments times, credit card statements. Im filing complaints with Missouri Attorney General Office, Congresswoman Ms. Cori Bush, Visa as fraud, Missouri Medical Board, Fox 2 community advocate Mr. Elliott Davis, and any other forum that will hear me out. At some point there will be an attorney that will take my case or Sono Bello will seriously address the issue.

Sono Bello Surgery cancellation

I met with a surgeon a couple of weeks before the surgery and he told me that he couldn't perform the surgery. I was very uncomfortable with the doctor when i met him, so him not being skilled enough was not a disappointment. They tried to give me another surgeon, she seemed better, but her schedule didn't work for me. I tried to cancel and the woman on the phone kept on trying for me to accept another day...basically didn't want to cancel. I finally got her to accept the cancellation and that was about 10 days ago. I have yet to receive a refund my $1000 down payment.

Desired outcome: I just want to receive the $1000 refund. Maybe I should have researched Sono Bello a little more...wish I saw theis site before I scheduled.

Sono Bello Refund of $1100.00

In April of 2022, I made a down payment of $1100 at the Westchester office for a procedure that I later cancelled. I was in contact with Ms. Rachel Hinman who reported that the money was refunded to the card that was used in the initial deposit. However, the card that I had use for the refund was closed and the account that was linked to that card was closed. I have been trying to get my money ever since June with no aval. I have been in contact with my bank which has closed the account and was informed that no money would be accepted to a closed account. I then contact Ms., Rachel Hinman at the Westchester office who informed me that the money was put back on the card. This has been a back-and-forth thing with my money. Again, I contact the bank who reassured me that my account was closed so they don't have the money.

The office that I visited is located at 450 Mamaroneck Avenue, Suite 101 Harrison NY 10528. Patient Care Consultant is Rachel Hinman [protected].

I am reaching out because I want my money back which Sono Bello refunded to a closed account. I am asking that an investigation be made into the whereabout of where my refund is.

You can reach at [protected]

Thanks in advance

Thank in advanc.,

Sono Bello Practice, doctor, patient care consultant

Sono Bello complaint

This document will serve as an outline of the agreement with Sono Bello and the botched services including dates of travel and conversations with each doctor, practice manager and patient care consultant.

On 6/12/2020, I came to Sono Bella in Oklahoma City to inquire about a procedure that I wanted to be done. Met with Joanne Ebinger (Patient Care Consultant), during this meeting/consultation she didn’t seem to want to sell me the procedures instead told me about her move to Oklahoma from Seattle and her relationships and dating history, I had to interrupt and get her back on point, telling her “I wanted to have the procedure”. Basically, at the time, all I wanted was the abdomen but she input the other procedures and told me I would have outstanding results if I did everything on Custom Package Laser Body Sculpting. She went on and on about how fabulous my results would be, I was hesitant.

Then I met Dana Towle, M.D. He examined me and said I was a good candidate but I didn’t need the Trisculpt E/X surgery and he could fix my hips, he explained that it is somewhat common when doctors perform a tummy tuck the hips are not address.

I liked the Doctor and felt he was honest and straight forth with me.

After he left the room Joanne Ebinger presented me with the Custom Package when I asked her about the hips she didn’t really explain it to me, but continued with the hard sell of the package, so I agreed and paid $13,500.10, to “look fabulous”, as she stated.

Agreement dated 6/18/2020 signed by Dr. Towle and Katherne Jones

Dr. Towle, First procedure was on 6/24/20, included Upper Abs and Hips, no Trisculpt E/X was preformed, as the Doctor stated many times that I didn’t need it, I ask for a refund of the Trisculpt amont 2,995.00, from the Practice Manager Christian Harris she said I could use the money somewhere else and suggested my” FLANKS”. I ask her what flanks were and she said it was the side area above my hips and it would give me the full effect and look great.

Second procedure 7/9/20 included inner thighs. This procedure required a revision as the doctor didn’t complete the inner thigh area upper legs leaving me with a partial liposuction.

Again, I spoke the Practice Manager, Christiana Harris, about a refund she said “they don’t do that, but I could add something on to my procedure” so I included the knees, this was a complete waste of time and money as there was no fat on my knee area and the result was null. She also overcharged my account by 555.66 because the package price was 1389.34 per area and she charged 1945.00 as a separate from the package. Because they would not give me a refund, from the Triscuplt E/X and coerced me into doing the knees.

Only thing I got was a couple holes in my skin, pain and healing, and lots of lies, the knees are the same as before.

Email from Practice Manger.

Desired outcome: complete contract amount paid. plus travel and expenses

Sono Bello Liposuction

I had been looking into liposuction and had a consultation where we discussed the pricing. I was still on the fence when they called and said they had a last minute opening for the next week so I went ahead and scheduled it. When I went in I had a brief consultation with the doctor. She said she thought I should get a tummy tuck but that would be an extra $3500 which I did not have. She had me go talk to the finance lady to set up the paperwork. The next day I went in for the procedure which was only liposuction. The doctor said "oh so you changed the plan? You want to be lumpy instead of doing the tummy tuck?"

I told her I didn't have the extra money because I had taken out a loan already but the before and after pictures that I had looked at made me believe there would be no problem getting the results I wanted. I'm only about 25 -30 lbs overweight. I came there specifically for a problem area which I pointed out to her and should not have been a problem since it was in the front above my belly button where she was already going to be working.

Needless to say, its been a year now and I don't look much different than before. I have not went down a pants size like they said I would and I still have this problem spot like I did before, except now its worse because she made it lumpy like she said. I had one follow up visit and the next one they text me an apt. confirmation so I text back that I needed to reschedule but they never confirmed or replied and since it was over an hour drive I never ended up going back. I called them and requested my pictures a few months ago which I finally got but I think the doctor intentionally gave me poor results because she wanted me to spend an extra $3500 which I didn't have. I never agreed to it to begin with so I don't know why she said I changed the plan or asked me if I wanted to be lumpy. If I had known she wasn't going to provide the same service as everyone else I would not have done it. This was last minute so I don't think I got the full consultation that I should have and the one day down time is a complete fabrication. They shouldn't advertise as one day down time. It was 3 days before I went back to work. I was never told the recovery process would be what it was. They said I would wear a garment for 6 weeks and be done. I didn't know there would be tubes dripping from my stomach, not to mention I think they took them out too soon because I was swollen with fluid for months. I also have 3 scars on my stomach where it looks like I had a C-section. I would like at least some of my money back or else something to address the problem area that I went for in the first place. I think the doctor intentionally made it so I would have to come back since I didn't do what she wanted. I went to see another plastic surgeon afterwards who said they could do the procedure to get the results I want but that will be another $9000. I feel like I got scammed. I had the procedure done on June 8, 2021 so I should see the results by now. The before pics are on the left, the after pics are on the right. I think it looks worse now than before.

Desired outcome: Refund on the procedure for the stomach area or an option to get the results I want that won't cost me anything. I don't want to do lipo again. The recovery was not as I expected.

Sono Bello Abex liposuction anesthesia

On 10/11/22 I had An ABEX and laser liposuction preformed at Sono Bello on Falls of Neuse Rd in Raleigh NC. I was not given enough pain blockers initially and felt every cut and every stab of the cannula. I was weeping, moaning, and borderline screaming. Finally, the nurse asked Dr. Elariny if he could give me something to deaden the pain. I was given a red pill and a few minutes later the pain stopped. I don't know if this is a viable malpractice litigation or not. I have left several messages for someone from Sono Bello to call me but have not received any response. Thank you for your consideration. Jennie Lund

Desired outcome: Full refund and apology.

Sono Bello Not ever getting a follow up call for refund-

I have spoken to Teresa manager at Bellevue location several times after trying to initiate a refund on a procedure. I've emailed the salesperson per her request, spoken with the receptionist, the bookkeeper...no one ever contacts me back and I 'm now only waiting for small claims court and for that I have all of the time in the world. Teresa has been rude and dismissive.

I was diagnosed with a Lupus over a year ago and I really don't think this procedure is smart and I am tired of waiting for a response -it's not coming, so I am. I'm pissed. Really crappy business practices.

This was for a leg lipo and I paid for it and then covid hit.

Please follow up with me.

Desired outcome: refund
