DO NOT USE Southall travels
Scamming agency- DO NOT USE. They refuse to refund the money for a cancelled flight inspite of airlines saying they have refunded more than a month ago. We have also found out that they lie in their website about being register with ABTA for dispute resolution. This agency SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE! AVOID at all cost! No point in contacting the customer service either!
Unsatisfactory Business Class Booking Experience with Southall Travel
I'm in a bit of a pickle with Southall Travel. I bought two business class tickets from them on October 11th, 2019, but I feel like the salesperson didn't give me all the information I needed. Apparently, there are three different types of business class tickets through Oman Air: Lite, Normal, and Prime. But the salesperson didn't explain that to me, so I didn't know what I was getting into.
I've been trying to get a transcript of the booking from Southall, but they haven't sent it yet. Their lawyers say it exists, but I haven't seen it. I'm so frustrated! I might have to take them to court over this. If I do, I'll come back and give you all the details.
Warning: Avoid Southall Travel/Travel Trolley - Overpriced and Unreliable
Southall Travel, also known as Travel Trolley, is a travel agency that I recently had a bad experience with. They always quote high prices and try to convince you that it's the best option. They sell tickets on a free date change basis, but that never happens. They simply copy and paste airline terms and conditions and put everything on the airline.
I have been scammed by Southall Travel for more than 600 pounds. I strongly advise you to avoid them at all costs if you care about your hard-earned money. It's better to pay a few extra quids and book directly with the airline, at least you'll have a backup.
I am planning to report them to ATOL, CAB, and the consumer forum. I am just waiting to hear back from them. It's frustrating to deal with a company that doesn't care about their customers and only wants to make a profit. I hope my experience will help others avoid the same mistake.
Disappointing Experience with Southall Travel: Unprofessional Service and Overcharging
I had a really bad experience with Southall Travel. The service was so rude once I paid my deposit, and I couldn't get out of the booking without losing my deposit. I felt like I was overcharged and should have done more research before booking with them.
After I paid, I didn't receive any courtesy calls to wish me a good trip or anything like that. The staff was very unprofessional, and they were all based out of the UK (the one who dealt with us). They were pressuring me to make a decision, and I didn't appreciate that at all.
I learned a massive lesson from this experience, and I will never book with them again. I would have thought that under the circumstances going on in the world, they would have provided extra courteous service, especially when I was spending a lot of money.
Overall, I would not recommend Southall Travel to anyone. They were not helpful, and I felt like they didn't care about my experience at all. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to my trip, but now I'm just disappointed.
Southall Travel Delivers Exceptional Service and Memorable Vacations
I gotta say, I had a real good time with Southall Travel. I've been using them for my vacays for a while now, but this time they really knocked it outta the park. They hooked me and the missus up with a sweet deal to Dubai, which is hands down our fave trip ever. It was my lady's 36th bday and I had some surprises planned for her, including the trip (which Southall sorted out for me). Had a bit of a hiccup with British Airways on the way back to the UK, but these guys really went above and beyond to sort it out for us. Big ups to Southall Travel, they really came through for us!
Disappointing Experience with Southall Travel: Misinformation and Poor Customer Service
I recently had a less than satisfactory experience with Southall Travel. I had paid extra for the option to make one change to my booking, but when I tried to do so on my return flight, I was told I would have to pay an additional amount of over ?135. I was confused as to why I was being charged when I had already paid for this facility. The representative I spoke to told me that the charge was made by the airline and they were just passing it on to me.
However, when I contacted the airline about this charge, they informed me that it was actually a charge made by Southall Travel and that the amount was not being paid to the airline. I was disappointed and frustrated by this misinformation and made several complaints to Southall Travel. Despite promises that someone would call me back, I never received a response.
Overall, I would caution others against booking with Southall Travel. While their prices may seem attractive, their customer service and communication left much to be desired in my experience.
Warning: Untrustworthy Travel Agent with Poor Customer Service and No ATOL Protection
This travel agent is not good at all. I booked tickets to go to India with Jet Airways, but the airline failed while I was in India. I contacted the travel agent for help, but instead of helping me, they started selling me tickets for a return trip for ?1700 per person. Some of my friends bought the tickets, but I decided to purchase new tickets to fly back home. Now, I am trying to claim my money back through the credit card chargeback scheme, but these crooks are preventing me from doing so.
I found out that they are not ATOL protected, and they sell tickets for airlines that are not ATOL protected either. This means that they are providing wrong information to their customers. Their customer service is very poor, and they do not have a complaint procedure or department. I am seriously concerned about this travel agent, and I am in the process of reporting them for fraud.
I would not recommend this travel agent to anyone. They are not trustworthy, and they do not care about their customers. If you want to book a trip, I suggest you look for a different travel agent that is ATOL protected and has good customer service.
Fraudulent Practices: Southall Travel Refuses to Help with Date Change and Steals Money
I am extremely disappointed with the services provided by Southall Travel. I had booked a ticket for my family from London to Delhi and had paid an initial advance of 800 GBP. The travel agency had assured me that I could change the date of travel free of cost. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I tested positive for Covid-19 and was unable to travel. When I requested for a date change, the agency made several arguments and refused to help me. I even copied their management in my emails, but to no avail. They ended up stealing my 800 pounds.
I strongly believe that they must have received the full amount from the airlines and had insurance to cover such situations. It is clear that they are involved in fraudulent activities. I would advise everyone to stay away from Southall Travel. Unfortunately, many of my colleagues have also faced similar treatment from them. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a travel agency. This incident occurred on 12th December 2021 and my invoice number is ***.
I have written to ABTA, but Southall Travel claims that they are no longer a member of ABTA. In my first review, they had promised to call me, but they never did. I have noticed that they make the same promise to every negative review on this platform. Please be aware that this is just a tactic to show that they care about their customers. I have provided my invoice number, but they still refuse to help me. I urge the government to take legal action against this travel agency for cheating and stealing money from their customers.
Southall Travel claims that they do not bother about positive or negative reviews, but their actions speak otherwise. They are a pathetic agency with unethical practices. I would strongly advise everyone to avoid them at all costs.
Disappointing treatment by Southall Travel: Unhelpful and Unprofessional
I am extremely upset with the way Southall Travel has treated me. I have been a loyal customer since 2012, but now I feel like they don't care about me at all. My email was hacked, so I had to create a new one. At the same time, my phone contract ended, so I got a new number. I also changed my address. However, I always used the same name and everything else when buying tickets and traveling.
Recently, I needed my travel history for official reasons, so I called Southall Travel. I spoke to 10 different agents over the course of seven days, but none of them were able to help me. I even emailed their customer care, but I never heard back from them.
Finally, I decided to talk to the manager. I spoke to a person named Reymond, who seemed genuinely interested in helping me. He checked my previous number and address and promised to give me the information I needed by Monday. However, when Monday came, he didn't call or email me. When I called him, I found out that he had changed and couldn't give me the information anymore due to data protection laws.
I offered to provide any documents, such as my driving license or passport, to verify my identity, but they still wouldn't help me. I am amazed that they are so unhelpful and unprofessional, especially when it comes to my own data. I am even willing to go to court to get the information I need.
Overall, I am very disappointed with Southall Travel's treatment of me. They have been very unhelpful and unprofessional, and I am very sad about it.
Beware of Southall Travel: Misleading "Youth" Ticket for 12-15 Year Olds Causes Stressful Experience
So, me and my family decided to book a trip to Dubai at midnight and we thought it would be a good idea to call Southall Travel instead of booking directly on Emirates website. We thought it would be a good idea because we knew they would be open. But oh boy, were we wrong! We booked for 2 adults, a 12 year old and a 5 year old. We were under the impression that a 12 year old is classed as an adult, but when we went to check in, Emirates website said our eldest was booked on a child ticket. We called Southall Travel and they assured us that our 12 year old was booked on a "youth" ticket and would be fine to travel. We called Emirates to check as we didn't want any problems at the airport. Emirates told us there is no such thing as a "youth" ticket and that Southall Travel would need to reissue the ticket as an adult ticket. Southall Travel wouldn't reissue the ticket so we asked them to send us an email to confirm that we wouldn't have any problems at the desk. We then spoke to a friend of ours who works for Emirates and she also said she'd never heard of a youth ticket before. We called ST again and asked them to reissue the ticket. After a few phonecalls, they did and we travelled to Dubai with no issues. However, we had the same issue on our return journey. This time, we managed to check in online fine, but when we went to check in at the desk, Emirates said the same thing, that our 12 year old had been issued a child ticket and not an adult ticket. They then asked us to go to the ticket desk at Dubai airport and speak with our travel agent. Again, after many phonecalls, no luck with ST. The man at the desk got fed up and said put the phone down I will issue you an adult ticket myself!
To cut a long story short, don't trust Southall Travel to book you a ticket for a 12-15 year old - as they class this as a "youth" ticket - when there is no such thing. What should have been a straight forward trip to Dubai, became a stressful experience - with many unnecessary phone calls between ST and Emirates, and also a 12 year old who thought we may not be able to travel! I definitely won't be using Southall Travel again and won't recommend it either. All of the travel consultants we spoke to were arrogant, patronising and unhelpful. It's a shame because we had high hopes for them. But alas, they let us down. I write this review so that other parents aren't faced with a similar situation. It's important to know that not all travel agents are created equal.
Disappointing Customer Service from Southall Travel: A Review of Our First Trip to India
I recently booked a holiday with Southall Travel and I must say, I was disappointed with the level of customer service provided by our representative, H. My daughter and I were travelling to India for the first time and we made it clear to H that safety and convenience were our top priorities. We trusted that Southall Travel, being a reputable and experienced holiday provider, would take care of everything. Unfortunately, this was not the case.
H failed to provide us with important information regarding visas, which led to an unexpected cost of ?300 and an inconvenience for my daughter, who had to take time off work to physically attend the visa office in London. We also had to pay an additional charge of ?50 for early check-in at our hotel in Delhi, despite requesting it beforehand. H was aware of our arrival time and had promised to check us in personally, but he left us in the taxi before we reached the hotel to go to his home. This was unacceptable and we felt abandoned.
To make matters worse, I left my jacket on our houseboat in Alleppey and the Southall Indian agent was of no help. In contrast, the manager at our Kovalam Hotel went out of his way to help us retrieve it. This highlighted the stark difference in customer service between Southall Travel and other local businesses.
We had two drivers during our trip, one for the Golden Triangle and one for Kerala. Our Golden Triangle driver, Ashish Gandhi, was exceptional and made our holiday special. However, our Kerala driver was a dubious character and we had to complain to the company. They assured us that they no longer employ him.
Lastly, despite numerous conversations with H regarding my late departure and the need for a late check-out, the hotel in Kovalam was not informed. H had verbally agreed to arrange it, but a written confirmation never materialised. This led to unnecessary anxiety and frustration.
Overall, the unprofessional service provided by H and other staff dampened our experience of what should have been a once in a lifetime holiday. We urge Southall Travel to address these issues with urgency if they want to retain their existing customers and attract new ones. As for us, we cannot recommend them.

Disappointing Experience with Southall Travel: Delayed Refund and Poor Customer Service
I gotta say, Southall Travel ain't doing me any favors. Been waiting on my refund since March 2020 and they ain't being helpful at all. They keep giving me these weak excuses that don't make no sense. Honestly, I hope this company goes belly up real soon. Ain't nobody got time for this kind of nonsense.
Warning: Southall Travel - A Scamming Company to Avoid!
from the internet. I am so angry and disappointed with Southall Travel. They are a bunch of scammers who just want to take your money and run. I booked a flight for my sister and her two children to visit me in the UK. I paid for the tickets and received a confirmation email from Southall Travel. However, when my sister went to check in at the airport, British Airways said that there was no booking under her name. We tried to contact Southall Travel, but they were not answering our calls or emails. It was a nightmare.
I cannot believe that a company like Southall Travel can get away with this kind of fraud. They are a disgrace to the travel industry and should be held accountable for their actions. I would never recommend anyone to use their services. They are not trustworthy and will only cause you stress and disappointment.
In conclusion, stay away from Southall Travel. They are not a legitimate company and will only cause you problems. Save yourself the hassle and book your travel arrangements with a reputable company. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Southall Travel: Opportunistic Scammers - A Warning for Travellers
So me and my mates, we saved up a lot of dosh to go to Australia, like over ?1500, ya know? But then Covid happened, and it's like an act of god or something, and we only got offered ?114 back. It's like they don't even care about us, man. These Southall Travel guys are just opportunistic scammers, don't trust 'em.

Beware of Southall Travel: Attempted Fraud and No Refund
I called up Southall Travel today to find out where my refund was. The agent on the phone asked for all my bank details, address, etc. But then, they didn't process my refund! Instead, they tried to take a whopping ?2586 out of my account. I was so shocked and upset that I reported it to the police. So, be careful when dealing with this company.
Disappointing Customer Service at Southall Travel: A Review
Southall Travel is a travel agency that I have used in the past. I have to say that I am not impressed with their customer service. I had an issue with a booking and tried to contact their CEO through their website for complaints. However, my review was ignored. This is not the kind of service that I expect from a company that I am paying for.
It seems that Southall Travel has become too big for their own good. They used to provide good service, but now it seems that they are not interested in customer care anymore. It's a shame because I used to recommend them to my friends and family, but now I wouldn't.
Overall, I would say that if you are looking for a travel agency that cares about their customers, then Southall Travel is not the right choice. There are plenty of other options out there that will provide you with better service.
Terrible Experience with Southall Travel: Overcharged, Poor Customer Service, and Hidden Fees
Southall Travel is not a good travel agency. They locked me in as a customer and charged me a lot of money. I paid nearly ?1000 more than other travel agencies. When I asked to cancel my flight, they said I needed to pay ?300 for cancellation. They also requested ?1080 for a deposit, which is a lot of money. Their customer service is really bad. I asked many times to speak to a manager, but they kept saying they had requested it and no one called me back. I booked two trips to Sri Lanka and they charged me ?3555. When I changed the dates, they charged me an additional ?150. Overall, I would not recommend Southall Travel to anyone.
Terrible Service and False Promises: My Experience with Southall Travel
I had a really bad experience with Southall Travel. Their service was terrible, and they made dodgy deals and false commitments. When I tried to get a refund, it was a complete nightmare. They kept changing the dates and timing of my flights, and it was almost impossible to get hold of someone on the phone. Most of the time, their phones were on auto-reply, which was really frustrating.
I also found out that their so-called "flexible ticket" wasn't really flexible at all. If you wanted to get a refund, you had to pay ?200 per ticket, which was a lot of money. I've been waiting for my refund for the last four months, and it's still pending. It's really frustrating, and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
Overall, I think Southall Travel is a fraud company, and you should stay away from them. Their service is poor, and they don't keep their promises. If you're looking for a reliable travel company, I suggest you look elsewhere.
Disappointing Experience with Southall Travel: Lack of Communication and Delayed Refund
I booked some flights with Southall Travel, but unfortunately they got cancelled because PIA got suspended. I was pretty disappointed that Southall didn't let me know about the cancellation or the refund. I had to call them up myself to get any updates. They've had my refund for over a week now, but they haven't even bothered to contact me about it. When I finally got through to them, they said it would take 14 days to process the refund. I've used Southall a few times before, but you never really know how good a company is until something goes wrong. I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed with the way they've handled this situation. I don't think I'll be using Southall again in the future.
Unprofessional and Unreliable: My Experience with Southall Travel
Southall Travel is a company that I would not recommend to anyone. They may offer good prices at first, but once they have your money, they will not honor their own rates. They will ask you to pay more closer to the date, which is extremely unprofessional. If you try to get a refund, you will have to do hundreds of follow-ups, and most of the time, they will not take your calls or reply to your emails.
I have been struggling with them for two months now, and my friend has also had a similarly bad experience with them. I would advise anyone to avoid falling into their trap and look for better agencies instead. It is disappointing to see a company that does not value its customers and does not provide the service they promise.
Unreliable and Frustrating: A Review of Southall Travel's Low Prices and Poor Customer Service
Southall Travel is a website that advertises prices for travel that are really low. You can find these prices on different websites. But when you call to book, you will find that they are never available. It can be really frustrating. The people who answer the phone are in a foreign call centre and they are not very helpful. They cannot give you any good advice. All they do is make the situation worse. They might offer you a date that is six months away from the date you want to travel. They will say that this is the only way to get the lowest fare. But this is not very helpful if you want to travel soon.
You should be aware that Southall Travel does not give refunds. Even though they get the money back from the airlines, they will not give it to you. This can be really frustrating if you have to cancel your trip for some reason.
Overall, Southall Travel is not a very good website to use if you want to book travel. The prices they advertise are not available and the people who answer the phone are not very helpful. If you want to book travel, you should look for a different website that is more reliable.
