I went into you Bristol Virginia 24201 location for a haircut this is only the second time iv visited your company. I showed the stylist a picture of the way I wanted it cut, she said sure when finished she never showed me the back of my hair which was suppose to be a fade when I got home and looked at the back of my hair I had a bowl cut the line is so obvious and there was a patch of hair that was completely missed! I am furious over this haircut! So now iv got to go somewhere else to get my hair fixed! I paid $25 plus a $10 tip for a bowl cut! I will never have sports clips touch my hair and will advise others to do the same! I would greatly appreciate a full refund! Wait time on the app and in store.
The app has never been close to accurate for the wait times. Today I'm sitting here 16 minutes past the initial time I was told to be here, the board says 7 minutes to go, the stylist said it will be another 20 minutes. I looked at the board and she laughed saying "well 7-20 minutes" this is enough. I have been loyal for years but I'm going to have to find somewhere that doesn't take up all of my day.

Overcharge for a haircut.
This happened June 10, 2023.
I got charged $26 for a $19 Senior Varsity haircut, and the lady knew what she was doing because she made sure the system did NOT email my receipt to me. This makes me sad, not angry. How awful must it be to have life be such that stealing seven dollars seems like the thing right to do. All this means now is that I will have an adversarial relationship with the staff at Sport Clips that requires me to establish what service I will receive and its price before I sit in a stylist's chair. I notice that customer service is not a Sports Clips strength. That's too bad.
Desired outcome: I have already stated the outcome...in the future, I will not trust Sport Clips employees to be honest and charge me for only what I received.
Waiting time
Sports Clips is advertised as a "mans" barber service! Today, the shop was tied up because a lady came in with long hair and required much time for a cut! Yesterday May 25th, 2023 we went to the Sports Clips in Collinsville, Illinois. We have been Sports Clips customers for years since before we moved here. Yesterday we were seen by someone new named Megan. She put the cape around his neck very loose so a bunch of hair fell into my son's shirt. He has an issue with texture so he was shifting back and forth in his chair. Megan was visibly annoyed and rude to him. She threatened to mess up his hair if he didn't sit still. On April 5 I went to sports clips on Gulf to Bay. The hairdresser gave me such a short haircut. I called in to complain the following day. The manager refuse to do anything about it. Including speaking to the hairdresser. It is a whole month later and I’m still so unhappy with my hair. I called the store yesterday trying to speak to the manager and I cannot get a hold of her. Poor treatment
I checked in online for a haircut it said 25 minutes. I got to the location and checked in and my wait said 25 minutes. They took several customers that checked in after me before me. I sat there for over 60 minutes and 4 people that came in after me were helped before me. They completely ignored me. I had on a pride shirt with pride earrings. I believe they treated me so poorly because I am gay.
I ended up cancelling my appointment and leaving because they called a 5 person that checked in after me.
I have tried to contact them via their online complaint form twice and they have not responded. Why was my appointment pushed back for people who were physically at the location after me?
Desired outcome: I would like an apology and an explanation why I was treated that way.
Online registration and text updates
I registered my son for a cut online today, April 4, 2023, at the Friant and and Ft Washington location. It showed a 51 minute wait and, after registering, I was given 5:12 pm as an arrival time (51 minutes later). At 4:58 pm I received a text update saying that his stylist would be ready in 12 minutes. We arrived a bit before the arrival time and saw that he still had a 23 minute wait. When I questioned the time, I was told by the stylist that she was the only one there, that updates are automatic, and she would “get to him when she got to him.”
Desired outcome: The reservation system needs to reflect real times and the stylist needs customer service skills.
