State Farm Auto accident - claims adjuster malfeasance in settlement process

Thank you in advance for your review of the following detailed and accurate description about my complaint against State Farm.

Ever since I was struck from behind in stopped traffic by a State Farm driver in a dreadful accident on July 13, 2023, my claimant interactions involving the callous State Farm claims representative "T.R."have been fraught with her deceit, dishonesty, and discourtesy.  As a result, my $20,080 claim is still unresolved - even after timely submitting over 100 pages of medical documentation that has been ignored.  I request that this claim be rationally, professionally, and courteously processed in an equitable manner by State Farm towards resolution - since State Farm's most recent offer barely equates to 12% of my requested amount.

Right from the outset, my claim (#40-53K7-57F) was mishandled by an evasive, uncommunicative, and disorganized claims adjustor. For starters, State Farm was reluctant to accept this claim due to a "coverage issue." With leverage exerted by my own insurance company, only then did they comply and begin the claim process.

The initial intake session in late July was poorly and deceptively conducted by T.R.  She stumbled through the questionnaire and then underhandedly sought to conclude the interview without even asking about my injuries.  When I asked about why I was not being permitted to describe  these distressing details, she then begrudgingly agreed to include such questions. Very frustrated at the time, I then proceeded to reveal my lower neck, shoulders, upper back, and lower back injuries from a double jolt - all of which triggered anxiety and stress that I am still grappling with to this day.

Over the next several weeks into late August, I diligently sought from several medical providers: evaluations, x-rays, services, and treatments - while heeding referral recommendations. This concentrated period of medical attention disrupted my life as my distress became more intolerable. Through early October,  I maintained a detailed log of my pain, soreness, stiffness, and discomfort.  As updates, I regularly sent T.R. emails - none of which were responded to.  Astonishingly, her only communication to me was the premature sending of a Release form to me in August - while I was still in the midst of my recovery.

In early October, I renewed my communications with her in a polite and friendly manner.  Yet, simple questions about the settlement process were either purposely dodged or answered incompletely by her (e.g., what types of documents to send, use of the portal for uploading).  In sum, she is very short-tempered and callously spurts "pat" responses that do nothing to resolve questions. In any case, I sent my initially prepared documentation (36-page batch) October 8th to supplement my Settlement Request letter, and requested a reply.

In my conversations with her co-workers and a supervisor about her dismal performance and this poorly worked claim, they conceded notable errors by T.R.  Her manager, in turn, shared my constructive feedback with her - yet, no improvements were evident nor was another agent assigned to this claim, as I requested.

Upon her review of my submission, T.R. promised on October 13 to send me a Diminution of Value claim form as well as a Medical Record Authorization Release form  to ease my providing of additional records. During a call that day, she avoided my simple questions throughout our discussion - causing greater frustration for me. From my standpoint, I came to understand that she was not overly familiar with the records sent, and that she did not care about a fair and honest outcome.

She then ignored emails sent into the following week (October 16 & 17) that sought answers on several simple questions. Even a voice mail alerting her to my concerns went unanswered.  Needless to say,  her promises were not kept as these were never sent to me, nor was a deadline (spoken or otherwise) established for me to provide records. Her unprofessionalism provoked even more anguish for me.

Still, I continued to take the high road. With little information provided to me about what was missing, I then quickly requested starting on October 16 such records from medical offices. I then sent her a second batch of medical records via email (30 additional pages) on October 18, and stated that I would need a few more days to provide substantive records from my chiropractor.  No objections were raised by her, and no deadlines cited.

Much to my surprise, on October 20 she hastily informs me that a "Settlement Offer" letter is being generated with an "Agreement and Release" form for signing.  I was astonished that this underhanded action was taken without my being able to provide significant records from my chiropractor.   This conspicuously low-ball offer ($4800 = $1800 + $3000) was accompanied by these two forms which were not in synch with each other - another example of her careless and mistake-prone ways.  She adamantly stated that this payout was strictly based on the degree of car damage. I  questioned her about this calculation and the use of such faulty logic. In response, she short-sightedly defered to the mechanical results of software that solely uses car damage as input. All other factors are irrelevant, apparently.

On October 24, I sent an email  letter objecting to the undervalued offering that fell far short of my original request.  I also sent another batch of medical records (41 pages) that I had just obtained from my chiropractor for her consideration, as I promised. These detailed records reveal my varied injuries and how these were treated over time. To date, I have provided over 100 pages of medical documentation.

Soon after sending these materials via email, I noticed yet another "Release" form sent to me surreptitiously - without any cover letter nor phone call from her to inform me of its sending.  This October 24 dated form, different in format, cited an even lower $2500 settlement.  There was no indication, in writing,  that this rushed "Release"  was a replacement for the "Agreement and Release."

After unsuccessfully trying to reach T.R. by phone on October 25, I spoke with an experienced claims co-worker (Salena) regarding these two forms. She explained that the "Release & Authorization" settlement offer was actually $3678 ($1800 and $2178) and not $4800 - nearly a 25% difference that was never explained by T.R.   Her co-worker also stated that this second form appears to have been sent in error, and questioned its rationale and fairness.

On October 26, I then had to then send an email to T.R. seeking an explanation about this pair of forms. During the call she then bluntly stated that this "Release" replaces the "Release & Authorization" form, and adamantly stated this is the final offer. In short, she reneged on a bonafide Settlement Offer without giving any reason.

Desired outcome: I am seeking a fair and just settlement of $20,080 in relation to my restitution request that was supported by substantive data and details.

State Farm Auto insurance

My vehicle was involved in a three-way collision with Statefarm being the main liable cause of the accident causing my car to be rear ended back in September 19th. I've spoken to the Ben [protected] who has been extremely uncooperative and continues to lie about the police report. I have yet to hear from his Manager Dan [protected] and I'm extremely upset at the lack of time and consideration it's taken to be responded too. My Claim is 52565928S.

Desired outcome: I would just like my vehicle to be repaired back to its originality before the accident. I can be contacted at [protected]@gmail.com

State Farm Auto hail damage handling

I'm dealing with 2 claims for my brother-in-law which State Farm illegally steered from our repair facility in a recorded conversation. The first claim number is 53-56Q793B and the second claim number is 53-56Q798J. These claims were submitted nearly 30 days ago and he still does not have an approved repair estimate on either vehicle. State Farm refused our estimate and stated in a recorded conversation that the vehicle appeared to only have roughly $2,000.00 in damages while our written and documented estimate was roughly $16,000.00. They forced him to go to their DRP for an appraisal and Classic Collision agreed with our estimate and even stated while being recorded that there estimate would probably be a little higher. They then had a PDR company that is directly linked with State Farm to write a roughly $8,000.00 PDR estimate and then stated he couldn't repair it but the body shop could repair the additional by filling it with bondo. The vehicle obviously needed the panels replaced or both facilities would not have agreed and one of the facilities is State Farms chosen DRP for an appraisal.

Desired outcome: The vehicles need to be repaired in a timely manner and correctly with the panels being replaced.

State Farm Homeowners insurance

I filed a claim with State Farm on October 13, 2023. What happened was that I had a toilet replaced with a new one. When the installer was getting ready to install said new toilet, he discovered that the bottom of the old toilet was sealed with caulk. He also discovered that there is mold in the area where the old toilet was. He was so concerned, he contacted a company that deals with mold issues. The restoration company came to my home to check to see how bad the mold was. The equipment she used indicated that the mold is severe. It took 4 days for State Farm to get a hold of me. Also, they used an claims adjuster who is not local in my area. I was under the impression that claims adjusters came to a persons home to evaluate the claim being made. That never happened. State Farms' way of dealing with a homeowners claim is over the phone only. That is so wrong. This claims adjuster I spoke with via phone put words in my mouth about what had happened. I had no leak whatsoever. When I received the email about the claim, I was so shocked to see how he worded everything to make it seem like this was a existing issue, and that they denied my claim based on that.

Desired outcome: I would like to have this work done that needs to be done. This type of work with getting rid of a mold issue isn't cheap. I am willing to pay my deductible and have this done without all the drama.

State Farm Hail and wind damage denied…

State Farm has partially denied my claim stating there is no evidence of hail damage on multiple areas of my roof. I have had a couple of different roofing companies inspect my roof the past year and each roofing company has photographed and documented hail damage. State Farm had their adjuster come out and inspect my roof and they denied damage, except for the back portion where my skylight is. The adjuster also proceeded to dismantle two rows of shingles from the back portion of my roof, exposing my roof to leaks, without sending someone to tarp that portion before it rained on bare decking. Multiple neighbors in a 1/2 mile radius from my house has had their roof replaced due to hail damage. My contractor has submitted pictures of the hail damage extended all over the roof and State Farm still denies any evidence of damage, yet the adjuster decided to take two rows of shingles from the back portion of my roof and State Farm has placed a tarp on that back portion. The adjuster submitted his findings and said that the roof should be getting bought. When the managers investigated the claim, they didn’t make a decision for over a month, which was not done in a timely manner. I have damage from hail on my roof, my gutters, and other areas around my property. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB also. I have been with State Farm for years and never filed a claim and never missed a payment. My roof has hail damage as you can see in the many pictures submitted and I am fed up with State Farm.

State Farm Homeowners insurance

One morning, I noticed quite a fair bit of water under my dishwasher and dried that up, turned off the water source. We had used the dishwasher the night before.

Over the next day or two, i noticed the hardwood floor was uneven and had swelled, and i removed the bottom panel of the dishwasher and noticed some persistent water under the dishwasher. I dried that up and placed fans etc.

The first claims specialist that came out to our home to evaluate agreed this was a covered event. He had multiple conversations with my wife about what was going to be covered etc. A general contractor came and had to remove the hardwood floor panels in front of the dishwasher to be able to remove the dishwasher.

A month later, a new claims specialist (who apparently took over the case) then denied the claim without even coming out to the home.

We were surprised and called in to question this change in decision. After a few phone calls, the new claims specialist came to our home, took some pictures and then 2 days later, again denied the claim, stating that the evidence suggested the leak was likely “over a period of time”. One of the new basis of that conclusion was that there was no water damage in the basement below the dishwasher.

The overall damage did occur over a period of time, maybe 1-3 days…. But certainly this was not a longstanding problem that happened over weeks/months.

State Farm Stopped paying for my accident claim and accused me of fraud, dropped me from insurance and stopped paying all my medical bills

January 2019 living in Connecticut and drove a friend home in Bronx NY. It was late and I got lost and was hit by a car trying to pass me and turn right before I did. Hit front driver's door, tire area and bumper, and pushed my front passenger side into steel subway girder. Driver got out and gave me his name and number and said he would pay for damages. When I said we should call police he got into his car and sped off. I was terrified as it was late and deserted ad a bad area so I was thrilled that my car was drivable and I started for my moms house in Westchester County. Got lost and ended up with my front tire blowing out. Cab came by I got in and left the car, my phone, my glasses I was such a wreck.

Called my car insurance company State Farm who I had been with for over 10 years and reported the accident and that it was a hit and run. Their adjuster reported my car as totaled and State Farm paid out for the blue book value of my car. I was going through a very stressful time in my life and this incident really shook me up. I started to have terrible pain in my lower back and own my leg and numbness on my right-side. I couldn't sleep at all. At that time I was sober and in recovery from alcohol and drugs for almost ten years, and sober two and a half years from prescription med abuse. I was having some mental health issues at the time and with the accident ,the loss of my vehicle, the physical pain I began experiencing from accident injury's, etc I picked up alcohol one again after so many years abstinent. My physical and mental health went downhill and I ended up in rehab and then in and out of the hospital while in rehab due to medical issues.

After three months I finished treatment and was again living with my sister in Ct. I went to my GP and he had me get an MRI of my spine and nerve conduction tests/ Asa result pf the accident I had spine injury and pain that required me to have a laminetecomy and spinal fusion of my lumber spine.

I got an attorney to work with State Farm in order to get the uninsured vehicle insurance coverage I had with my policy and to ensure coverage of my medical bills. One I retained an attorney State Farm was not on my side in anyway regarding my case or my injuries. They put me through an EUO and began accusing me of fraud initially because I had reported the address of the accident as Old White Plains Road when it had occurred on White Plains Road and I wasn't aware there were two different roads with such similar names. . When the adjusters were evaluating my explanation of the accident it was not consistent with the the terrain of the road I had initially reported it had occurred on. The lawyer for State Farm running the EUO had realized the confusion regarding the incorrect address having been mistakenly reported yet State Farm carried on with their attempt to deny my claim due to fraud. In fact the examination i s so exhaustive and invasive the EUO brought out the many personal issues I struggled with since I was a teenager such as mental health and addiction issues as well as a legal situation I had three years prior to the accident. Shortly after the EUO State Farm informed me they were dropping my auto coverage policy after being a loyal customer for over ten years, They stopped paying all medical bills, and refused to approve my claim for other injuries sustained in the accident. Just prior to State Farm denying my claim I had been evaluated by an orthopaedic surgeon in Greenwich Ct who strongly recommended that I undergo a spinal fusion surgery in order to stabilize my weak and damaged lumbar spine. In order to continue to deny my medical coverage State Farm sent me to their own spine injury specialists. One physician never looked at my MRI and wrote a report indicating that I did not need spinal surgery. The second physician State Farm sent me to actually reported to me during my visit that my MRI showed conclusively that I needed surgery to repair my lumbar spinal damage. Unfortunately, the report from that doctor was never given to my attorney or placed in my file.

My attorney was not interested in fighting for me from the start with my case and never contacted me, never gave me updates about my case, and never even informed me that State Farm denied my claim due to fraud as the outcome of the EUO. I had to be made aware that State Farm had cut off my claim due to getting calls from my surgeon, the hospital, etc that they were not being paid. I was unable to receive follow up treatment from my surgeon or get the required physical therapy treatment I was instructed to complete in order to heal properly. State Farm refused to pay any medical bills and I had massive debts to every dr and I was unable to make payments. My dr would no longer see me for follow up after surgery because he was never paid by State Farm. I have medicare as my health coverage and they made some medical payments, for much less than what was billed. They paid $28,000 for the $160,000 hospital bill from Greenwich hospital for my surgery.

I ultimately had to leave my sister's home where I had lived and worked for eight years. My sister had had a brain injury and a son with aspergers and I basically took care of the house and her son. My sister and her husband paid my expenses, gave me cash and let me live there rent free. I was no longer physically able to do the housework , the shopping , cooking etc and I ended up having to ask my father to help pay for me to live in an assisted living house in New Canaan Ct. In the accident I had also damaged my upper denture plate that I had for years, I still have been unable to afford to have it repaired and fit properly.

Meanwhile in 2021 my attorney asked me for $500.00 in order to take State Farm to court and we needed to pay the filing fee. I gave him a check for that. . In 2022 I moved to Florida with my mom to help her out and to save money. In 2023 my attorney suddenly began to reach out to me and plan for going to court with StateFarmsaid we would be going to court with State Farm in the near future. He also informed me that it was necessary for me to get an exhaustive medical report from an orthopeadic surgeon in Connecticut regarding my medical injuries and treatment from the accident if I hoped to get anything from State Farm at all for medical or from my uninsured vehicle insurance. The physician my attorney recommended I go to charged $1600.00 for the medical report and the money had to be paid upfront before an appointment could be made. I would be traveling to Connecticut from Florida for a half hour appointment. This appointment would require a rental car and accomodations for a night in addition to airfare. I spent over $4000.00 in order to get the doctor's report. My attorney made it clear if I wanted to receive any compensation from State Farm I had to bear this expense.

Shortly after the trip to Connecticut my attorney called to notify me that State Farm agreed to settle for $70,000 and he advised me to take the offer because he felt I wouldn't do any better even if we went to court and I might get less. I followed his advice and accepted through him and then signed the Settlement documents he sent for me to sign. A few days later he told me that I owed medicare $30,000 for medical bills they paid but that should have been paid for by State Farm under my liability coverage. Apparently medicare tried to get payment from State Farm but State Farm appealed it by saying my claim was fraudulent. Ironically when medicare was hounding State Farm and threatening them with interest charges State Farm made the $30,000 payments to medicare.. I even got a statement from state farm at the time representing that they paid out this money and I had no idea what it was about. Shortly after making the payments medicare approved the State Farm appeal to not be held responsible for the payments and medicare then sent State Farm the $30,000 payment back as a refund. This $30,000 is now my debt to medicare which they are going to take from me and the settlement. My attorney gets $25,000, medicare $35,000 ,medicaid $2,000.00 and a pre settlement loan I had took for $2,000 which is now $8800 with the interest

over two years.

I will receive nothing from the settlement when it is finally finished paying out everyone else, although I still owe massive medical bills from my surgery, I never got my denture plate fixed, nor received proper physical therapy after my spine surgery.

My financial position has never recovered from when State Farm suddenly stopped honoring my insurance claim, my medical bills, and my lost income. I realized days after I signed the Settlement agreement and I read it carefully; something my attorney did not instruct me to do nor did for me; that state farm used language in the settlement agreement that still allows them to not admit liability for my accident injuries and any other burdens placed upon me by such.

I do not know where to turn with the horrible treatment I have received from State Farm especially, but from my attorney, and medicare as well. My financial situation is extremely poor and merely paying for food and shelter is week to week for my mom and I . Is there any expectation to receive some protection from being taken advantage of by a system that has so many built in rules that favor power, wealth, and importance and so few that protect the vulnerable.

Desired outcome: I would like State Farm to step up and treat me fairly and pay the medical charges that medicare is expecting me to pay for

State Farm Claim repair shop and rental company

The 5+ body shop did a horrible job fixing my car after a tree fell on it. They put in a used roof, which has many dents an is extremely dirty on the inner roofing. It also appears that someone painted the inside of my car and dripped all over my dash, leather seats, speakers and floor. Enterprise overcharged me $500 for 4 extra days on my rental, even though state farm approved extended rental. My car is only 2 years old and was worth $40,000. Now maybe 10.

I need help. Current agent is not trying to help.

Desired outcome: I want car fixed to perfectionI want my rental fees reimbursedI need a new covered rental while my car is being re-fixed

State Farm Homeowners Insurance

Over 2 years waiting for a roof claim - we continue to get water damage every time it rains, new areas of interior celling damage in over 5 rooms now - and they just ask you to file a new clam yet do nothing about the fact that the roof needs fixing first. We are continually told to find out if replacement shingles are available- which they are not, and even if they were they available, they would not match the old ones on my roof due to wear and exposure to elements over the last 20 years. Even the manufacture told us they will not match, and we will have a patchwork quilt on our roof, to which the State Farm rep responded " oh they don't have to match as long as they are the same tiles... - what do we pay premiums for, to be treated like fools. We have had adjustors from two major insurance companies working on neighbors' roofs stop by to tell us - you need a new roof, but our insurance Company doesn't think so, the worst neighbor to ever have is State Farm.

State Farm Auto Claim

A State Farm customer back into my rear car door. They will only accept 60% liablity when I literally had no way to avoid her backing into me. Any impartial observer would clearly see I had no to way of avoiding this accident, and their claims expert used my own statement out of context to tell me that I saw thier driver, when my actual statement was that "by the time I saw her, I had no way avoid the accident". Their claims expert, would only repeat the statement to me that I said I saw her, compleltly ingnoring the rest of my statement. My insurance, Country denied their request for 40% coverage of their drivers damage, and my rep clearly told me this is State Farm taking advantage of the fact I only have liablilty insurance on my vehicle.

State Farm Homeowners insurance

I've been a client of Statefarm ever since the purchase of my home in 2004. I have been recently told that my homeowner's insurance would not be renewed because of too many claims. I checked the claims in question and there were 2 claims in 2022 that I did not pursue, these should be removed - because I only called with a question on a possible claim. I have all my cars (3) with State Farm, also the Umbrella Insurance and a Statefarm credit card. I have been a loyal customer for almost 20 years and feel that they are treating me like a number.

Please help me

Desired outcome: Reinstatement

State Farm State Farm Auto Coverage

my 2018 vehicle was damaged in a major hail storm on 6/15/23. it is 9/1/23 and State Farm has still not agreed to repair my vehicle back to pre-storm conditions. The vehicle is not legally drivable due to the severe damage. They and their contractor (Pilot) has misled and flat out lied to me many times. A State Farm inspector has still NOT even personally looked at the vehicle and as of today at 1pm, does not even have a person identified or scheduled to inspect the vehicle.

State Farm Home Owners Insurance

State Farm use to be a reputable Company. I have been a customer for 43 years until recently. I received a phone call saying they were going to cancel my homeowners policy, In June we had a major storm roll through with 100 mile an hour winds. We had damage to our property so I filed a claim. That's what insurance is for right? After several phone calls I finally received some money after fighting for what we deserved, I didn't get that but we got a little bit. They paid us $5500.00 and we had to spend $18000.00. I guess they call that fair. That is OUR MONEY and they sure don't want to give any of it back to us when we need it. DO NOT believe their commercials when they say State Farm "Is there". They ARE NOT THERE. Please find another company. I'm going to consider this a blessing because we have been wanting to leave State Farm for some time now and this will force me to do so. I hope this helps someone not make the same mistakes I did.

Desired outcome: I want to help other people to not get screwed by State Farm

State Farm Can't get paid state farm want let my shop turn in estimates been an ongoing problem.

I own an autobody shop and I keep having the same problem, I can't send in estimates without a password, but I can't get a password. I even have 2 state farm customers now. What on bloody earth can we do to fix this? I go through this every time. I have been told at different times they would get it figured out and get back with me, but no one gets back with me. This is what I do for a living. I have the right to work, and people have the right to have me repair their car or truck. What's the problem? I would like to get this problem fixed because I do quite a few jobs for State Farm, yet still have the same issues. I keep talking to people in the Claims Department, but nothing gets resolved. I have attempted to register on B2B multiple times, with no response. My shop is Eddie's Body Shop in Inez, KY. Our phone number is [protected].

Desired outcome: The problem with this and State Farm resolved. I would like this resolved as soon as possible; I have 2 State Farm jobs here now. There is no need to go through this. Thanks.

State Farm Accident resolution

I was involved in an auto accident on May 9th, 2023. They initially said the care could be fixed. I had an independent auto shop create an estimate, they suggested totaling the car. All of sudden they changed their mind and totaled my car. It's Aug 7th, still no resolution. They won't continue to pay for the rental car even though they have dragged their feet. They say "well we haven't received all the documents from your loan company". And it's my job to get those for you? Hell no. YOU PUT PRESSURE ON WHOMEVER HAS THOSE DOCUMENTS! They are refusing to continue to pay for the rental car even though they have not settled the claim yet. Anyone have any suggestions to get resolutions NOW?

Desired outcome: My totaled vehicle loan to be paid off and cleared so I can purchase a new vehicle.

State Farm An agent

I called to get some help and this agent has been nasty her name is Kacie at the 1750 N. Congress Ave. Suite 500 Boynton Beach, FL 33426 location. The sad part she was usually moody, and I really didn't pay her no attention. But because her office is not renewing my policy, she was really being SUPER nasty, I was trying to ask her for 3 months of statements. Because I can't get into the app or website even after calling technical support. But no one should be treated the way my daughter has been treated, whom is in the military and was also treated bad dealing with Kacie. Also, I told her I sold my home and told her I would be moving by 6/21/23 but the apartment people made a mistake I ended up moving 7/1/2023. I was wondering if that could be adjusted, but all she gave me was grief. going toe for toe with me and not answering my questions. Arguing with me like no other, I was frustrated, and nothing was achieved at the end of the phone call. I asked to speak to her manager, and she said she was on vacation (that's fine) who is in charge when the manager Christy is not around, she never answered that.

Desired outcome: I was just asking her for 3 months history of charges, because I usually go online. Also, can the move date to my new address be adjusted to 7/1/2023 since she didn't want to, I can send the least proving that.

State Farm Home owner insurance company

These are the most inhuman beings, all that I have been through with my son that had a third-degree burn and my kitchen in ruin, they even had someone come to the house and it was almost 10,000 dollars, from their company. I get sick every time I see the commercial State Farm is there, for sure not a person that paid the premium, and when you need them, they are not there for you. I am appalled that they have these people in a position not to help you and to ease your pain, but put them in a job, so they can make fun and not give you a dime. I am asking someone in control, someone at the top, I ask someone that knows how to treat a human being to call me and get this straight away, I have been waiting since December 4, 2021, now they said we do not give you a dime we stand to buy our decision, they ask me to get the pictures, I did that they ask me to go where you brought each item I did that, now we stand on our decision not to give you a dime, I am so sick I am nausea because State Farm is a lie if they knew how the people in charge of this adjuster are treating the people maybe they will have some type of mercy and compassion to help the people that believed I n that lie State farm is there, I will not give up until someone from the top look at my case, I have receipts, I have kept every emails, since December through now, I count 40 emails, and how I have done everything the adjuster told me to do. I am sick and appalled, something needs to be done at the top. My Claim Number: 36-29N9-36R Date of Loss: December 4, 2021, Our Insured: Loretta Martin Policy Number: 36CRP688

Desired outcome: That my claim be paid

State Farm Roof replacement insurance

We have been State Farm clients for DECADES. We live in a storm prone state in lower plains. A roofer inspected our roof 1.5 years ago, said needed replacing. Adjuster came out, said no it still has life. It had granular dissipation, minor hail damage. It was 8 years old. Claim denied. This week, home inspected by roofer again. He states condition is POOR, minor hail damages, granular dissipation on shingles. State Farm not replacing. No claim filed, since they told me since roofer said 5 years left on it. 10 year old roof. Selling house, buyer unhappy with roof, insurable with high high premiums.

So, to sell house, we are to fund new roof mainly due to State Farm not declaring this roof replaceable under insurance. What a racket...pay insurance all these years for what...have claims denied cuz state farm says damaged roof in poor shape not bad enough...

Desired outcome: State farm should do their job as insurance company. Very upset over this ... stare farm not helpful at all....cost us a lot of money even though we have insurance with them.

State Farm Home owner insurance claim

We filed a claim on 1/4/2023 and to this date 6/18/2023 we have not received any funds. There have been two adjusters to come out and we now have our fourth claim agent to take over the claim without anyone letting us know. The contractor has sent in the pictures and cost estimates and one contractor walked through with the adjuster, but still no check!

I only found out that I had a new claim person after I asked my insurance agent to call and see what was going on! I don't live in an upscale neighborhood and I think that may be why we are treated in a very unprofessional manner. We hope that this reaches statefarm!

Desired outcome: Getting my roof and house fixed

State Farm Home Insurance

FACTS: There was not and presently is not water damage to be claimed @ 15-1445 12th Ave Keaau, Hi.

A State Farm receptionist chose to handle my phone inquiry as a claim in an unfair manner, and did not do a proper investigation.

I never rec'd a letter explaining the denial because there was no claim. State Farm phone receptionist escalated a phone call question by the Homeowner of "what if" into a claim.

As a 100% disabled Marine I know that I suffered from an anxiety attack on that day and the info I needed was never answered. State Farm never evaluated or advised anything because I wasn't calling for a claim. I was thinking of changing for a better insurance company. It was totally mishandled as State Farm, Julie Seuh's LexisNexis request shows (below) in her request to have the incorrect claim removed at LexisNexis.

On May 18, 2023 I was advised on the phone by Julie Seuh of State Farm to also ask LexisNexis to remove the false claim as she had just done.

May 18, 2023, I called LexisNexis and an Agent informed me that State Farm had just called telling him of the same State Farm mistake and Julie Seuh requested my claim to be removed. I have a letter stating those facts by State Farm asking it to be removed as a claim below.

Hi Dean,

I was able to obtain the attached letter that shows there was no payment made for a water claim and have requested a claims review of the file to correct the info being reported to Lexis Nexis.

You can also file a request with LexisNexis which is the company that is providing the loss history report to correct the record.
