State Farm Insurance repayment

I have been trying to get my money refunded which was taken out of my bank account after policy being cancelled. I was affiliated with State Farm in Vandalia Ohio [protected]. The first time Cory at the office stated my bank card was cancelled, which it wasn't. I can't believe that is an issue because money has been taken off that card for many years and then it wasn't, strange. So he said he will look into and i should have it the following week. Following week came, nothing. I called the coporate office and tried. And then 1 person said I can't cause policy was cancelled. So she transferred me to another person and she stated i would. I got email stating on Match 13 that I would only get $37.05. and I paid $55.19. I want all my money back. So Cory from Vandalia office stated I should have my money in my account by today. Nothing. I am tired of this and I am ready to go to Ohio Attorney General with this . This is ridiculous of trying to get your money back after almost a month.

I need something done about this today and I want all my money back.

I notified the office in Vandalia of cancellation before they should have taken the money out of my account. So this is their fault.

Anybody in their right mind, would want their money back.

Desired outcome: I want something done today about my situation. Over a month is ridiculous of trying to get your money back. You can call my cell phone but I am at work and I can't answer it but please leave a message

State Farm Replacement of stolen Property

claim 11-44P7-22G In october i had 7000 worth of tools stolen from my garage I filed a claim and sent in all necessary documents; I received a check for $133.30 and was told i had a allowance of $4921.70. Ms Angela Warren stated if i would purchase the tools they would reimburse me upon receiving the reciept I dont have the money to buy the tools so in other words i lost 7000.00 worth of tools.When i first talked to Ms Warren she was very rude but when she called to tell me they were sending me a check for 133.30 she was ever so nice. I have talked to several of my friends and family and they have never heard of doing business in this manner.

State Farm Handling of Claims'

My property had damage back in December. I just received the personal property contents collaboration email in March. I called for an update and the lady was very nasty on the phone. I did not feel valued as a customer and it should not have taken until February to receive the contents collaboration email. The first link that that they sent me was incorrect so it had to be resent. I was worried about missing the deadline and she was not very nice at all. Customer service is also very important.

State Farm Claims handling

I have been dealing with a theft claim of my home claim#13-24H908F for almost 2 years now. Reason for the length is State Farm refuses to pay for items in which I purchased to replace the items that were stolen. I filled all of the required information that State Farm requested. In the beginning State Farm tried to lie and state I was using the equipment for work. I then had to provide W2's and tax forms in order to prove the items in question were not used for work and were for private use in my own home. From the time the claim was put in till now, many of the items have increased in price. I have a Full Replacement policy which states I will be reimbursed for the price of the item when I purchase it. I have purchased over 70K in tools and equipment. Many of the items had a quantity of 2 or more. Some even having a quantity of 8. All invoices provided to State Farm show I purchased the items to replace what was stolen and the same quantity was purchased. State Farm now only wants to pay for one of each item and is refusing to pay the corrected list price per current pricing in which I paid, they want to replace an old list price amount. State Farm marked items on my collaboration content list as duplicate items though each item has a different part number and description. I even purchased the items and provided invoices showing the description and pricing. State Farm refuses to correct their mistakes. I have spoken with many managers, and they always agree that they made mistakes on the list and will correct them, but nothing ever gets corrected. Now State Farm refuses to contact or return calls to me. I know State Farm is trying to drag this out till April as that's when the cut off happens and I the file is closed due to age. Now State Farm tells me there is depreciation? This is a complete lie! Depreciation doesn't apply on a Full Replacement policy when I have to purchase the item new!

Desired outcome: I want to be FULLY reimbursed for items I have purchased as per my policy states I would.

State Farm Continuing to charge my account for a person that was removed june 1 2022

This is for policy #R47 9680 D17 53Z. I am told by my agent that the main State Farm billing has denied any refund to my account for continuously billing me from June 2022 thru now. Originally, we had 2 adults and 3 teen children on our policy. Now, we have 2 adults and 2 teens on our policy. No part of me believes that both scenarios are at the same price point. I have been denied any sort of financial compensation during those 5 months and it is completely unacceptable! We pay an obscene amount of money yearly to State Farm to the tune of between $6700-$7000 plus and I want answers!

We have provided all requested information in regard to proof of our 19 year old, Haden's policy with Progressive as well as the vehicle info of the car he purchased and still, we were charged monthly for him to be on our policy. Why? Our current insurance card still lists him as an insured driver. VERY ANGRY AT THIS POINT. This is highway robbery and it has to STOP! Please consult with the Corey Pack office in Kyle TX, [protected] to obtain any/all information that I provided as requested proof my son had his own car and policy.

Desired outcome: That I am refunded money paid for our son, Haden Garrett, who has had his own car and policy since June 1,2022. I am still currently being charged for him to be on our policy.

State Farm Car accident 1/12/2023 claim43-44j5-20b

At approximately 6:36 pm on January 12, 2023, I left my home on a 35mph double-lined county road, which I have lived on for 10.5 years, I was heading south into town. approximately 3/4 miles down the road it converges to a state Highway, just before it converges in the Northbound lane there is a recreational marijuana dispensary. I was driving south and came around a slight bend to a 400yard very dark straightaway before the dispensary, driving approximately between 35-37mph. As I was approaching, approx 200yds away, from the convergence and the Marijuana store, I observed headlights that appeared to be pulling into the store or backing out, going northbound. However, as I got closer I saw the vehicle (State Farm Insured) backing and turning into my lane attempting to head south. I made an evasive move to avoid the vehicle but also knew there was a ditch on the right side. Unfortunately, I was not able to avoid both as my vehicle hit the PIT location of the rear 1/4 panel behind the driver's side rear wheel which apparently (per video surveillance at the Marijuana store) spun your insured's vehicle hitting a parked car. My car went into the ditch.

I have since filed a claim with both State Farm and my insurance company and have received conflicting assessments of liability 70/30 State Farm for your insured and 80/20 from my insurance company in my favor. I spoke with a state farm rep today to appeal the decision as I believe your insured was negligent and distracted by, being from out of state, Texas, and legally buying Marijuana products for the first time. I have provided as much information and video footage short of having an investigator look at the site to give your claims teams as much information to make an informed logical assessment. However, they seem hellbent on reconsidering the level of fault your insured show carry in the cause of this accident. below is the email I sent after digesting the call I had.

To whom it concerns,

I am following my conversation today regarding my dispute of 70 /30 liability. I am deeply concerned about the steps taken to ensure the correct accountability was assigned. What I took from my call is State Farms decision was made from:

- a video that "ONLY" shows the collision

- a police report that was written after he saw the same video.

This video does not show:

- the preceding 400yd straight away I was already highly visible to your ensured 8-12 seconds before he began moving (my headlamps and fog lights are both 6000 LED)

- provide a clear view of what your insured was doing in his vehicle to pay attention to, MY RIGHT OF WAY

- accurately show your insured's vehicle was perpendicular if not, rear diagonally facing away from my view which made his taillights impossible to see until he started turning into my lane.

- show the lack of lighting on the stretch of road

- The evasive maneuver I took in an attempt to avoid your insured's vehicle in my lane

However, the 18second video does show:

- Your insured sitting idle in the middle of the road across double lines

- Your insured backing out across 1.5 lanes of traffic

- Your insured making no attempt to move out of my lane

I find it strange that Liberty Mutual made efforts to get a better understanding of the scene with me and round-tabled it before they made their decision on 80 / 20... Mostly due to your insured sitting idle and making no attempt.

As for the police report, I will be contesting this ticket and will let you know when it is dismissed. That being said I spoke with a seasoned collogue of the rookie officer who issued the ticket, he was hesitant but contradicted the officers' decision to cite me.

I find the steps taken by State Farm to be LAZY and biased toward the insured. I knew the variables of this accident would not be easy to consider, but you all at State Farm just brushed through it without digging into it. I would be very interested in how the arbitration between Stated Farm & Liberty Mutual

I am extremely disappointed with your process and will be seeking legal representation to hold State Farm accountable for your insured's negligence.

Desired outcome: I want this accident to be reassessed by State Farm or an independent investigator. I would like to be reimbursed for my losses ( Vehicle, Towing, Car Rental)

"my headlamps and fog lights are both 6000 LED" --

If you mean 6000 lumens each, then your forward facing lights are illegal for road use according to the department of transportation. You are blinding on coming traffic, traffic in front of you, pedestrians, etc.

Your best bet in the future is to install a dash camera, everyone learns the hard way dealing with insurance companies. But dash cameras and lawyers solve that problem.

State Farm Roof/Hail damage

I had 3 roofers say i definitely have hail damage but the insurance adjuster said I don't have any hail damage when there is so he said they would send a check for $1000 to fo go on the roof and 2 interior rooms, what is that suppose to fix, not the leaks and not the rooms, then said the shed in my yard would be replaced, $4000 but mailing a check for $2000 the other $2000 is depreciated value, well i have replacement not depreciated so again, paying insurance and not getting anything done

State Farm Claim owner

we feel that our fire claim has not been handled in a proper or respectful manner. we have been told for several weeks that we will receive a payment for our contents and still nothing. our fire was october 29th 2022 and our claim has been passed to several claim agent/owners. we have not been being informed with anything that is going on with our claim and when we finally get ahold of our claim owner we feel that we get the run around. we feel that its always somebody elses fault that our claim is being held up. our claim owner has also told us that we may possibly be homeless and that he basically doesnt care because he doesnt want to pay for our hotel stay any longer.our service dog has been being boarded since the fire and only recieved one payment for his boarding, it since has been almost 60 days since the last payment and at 60 days he will be considered abandoned. we have turned in several reciepts for reimbursement and they dont receive or cant find them in the over 1000 pictures for our contents and other things.

Desired outcome: our claim to be paid out in a timely manner

Hello DsMartin2012,

I have been going thru the same thing with State Farm. My claim was filed 03/19/2022 and still to this day do not have a completed home. today is 01/09/2024, the adjuster decided to not pay for additional living expenses when we were 8 months in and the contractor that they had sent out refused to do the job because he said it was too little money. So I had to scramble and find a place to stay and continue to push them to approve the supplements and have the work done. He refused to let me choose my own contractor. It has been a nightmare working with State Farm I call every day and can never get ahold of the adjuster so I have to go thru customer service to get someone on the line only to be told that they will forward to their supervisor to have the supplement seen. So i feel you when they dont care about their customers. Let alone the dont like to be told why do we pay for insurance if we arent gonna get the help we need? Not only do they not like that but they make it their goal to not answer your calls and help you.

State Farm Ambassador paint and body services that state farm agent refrred me to.

My claim is #53-41pt-04t and the so-called state farm team. This team has treated me and my grandson so poorly. The so called team did not reach out to me .I can say there was only one person that did and that was mrs.Brook spears. I r4eally need to speak with someone cause i have parkinson and type is difficult to me will some please call me i still have not received my car and not only that the rental car bill needs to be tasken care of also the shop has done a very very very poor job on my vehicle and as of saturday jan,21,2023 the shop was not responding to my calls. MY cell ism [protected]

this is the worse place to take a vehicle too do not let anyone refer you to this place tacky work and my vehicle has been in this shop before christmas because of a minor accident and not it has turn to a major problem.it is a shop referred by stsate farm insurance.DONT DO THIS SHOP

State Farm Water damage in closet area of bedroom

On 12-02-22 the apartment bldg. I live in had a hose from the washing machine on the upper floor above us. This water leaked into my master bathroom and clothing/shoe closet. My renter's insurance paid an unfairly amount for clothing to be cleaned and lost clothing plus bath towels, etc, etc

Shoes and boots were water damaged and they are no longer structural enough to wear or get. Usage out of. The fairness here is depreciation value and to close this claim out. State farm is saying clean them and if they are not useable then there could be reimbursement. Common sense to this claim is to pay depreciation value as these shoes were wet for days and have shrunk and are hard in areas. This is a very ridiculous approach to deny a praying paying. Loyal never late never had a claim. Customer.

What a sweet deal State Farm got from me! An HVAC froze and leaked into a downstairs closet and ceiling. The cost of replacing the HVAC is "not covered." The damage is under the $2,000 deductable on the policy. What's more, State Farm is going to raise our premium rates as a result of filing a claim--a claim they won't pay a penny for. Worthless insurance. Why have it except to pay exhorbitant premiums to keep it?

State Farm Insurance

We have a hot tub located in an dwelling separate from the home. It has a hard-wired electrical line running from it to the home’s main electrical panel. There was a recent power outage and due to that the hot tub froze and is no longer usable. We have submitted the claim, got estimates, had a hot tub place come out and confirm what was wrong and state farm is still refusing to cover it to get replaced! We have numerous policies through them and will definitely be leaving this company after not covering our $33k hot tub!

State Farm Payment owed by state farm

Canceled homeowners insurance in Dec 21 agent Tommy Kelaher canceled Dec29 did not do what I asked also payment had already been made for 2223 to mortgage co Dec 6 I need that back for escrow van the remaining fee from Dec21 to Jan 3 agent was very nasty he stated all he had to do was push a button Please ask him to push button to send all money due

State Farm Roof/storm damage replacement

I guess I understand now why State Farm won’t replace the roof on our home. It seems that they have adopted a no replacement mentality. Everywhere on the internet, that has a review board people are filing the same complaint. They want more and more pictures and video only to state that the roof can be fixed, although it won’t guarantee that the leak will be fixed. Using an adjuster I started the claims process with them back in July 2022. The adjuster sent pictures of hail damage and wind damage to our roof plus the damage to the ceilings in 3 rooms to the claims department. An inspector from State Farm came out a few weeks later and said that the damage was only minor and that State Farm would only pay for repairs to the roof and re-paint the ceilings. So after going through trying to find shingles for a comparison (that don’t match) 2 videos that clearly show that the shingle underneath is damaged when a repair is attempted they still refuse to replace our roof. So here it is now Jan, 2023 and they still won’t budge. It’s too late in the year to do any roof work, I have 3 tarps on my roof which still leaks so the ceiling damage is getting worse, and have to figure out how to pay for the new roof that we need. We are both in our 60’s this will be a large chunk of money we will have to use out of our savings.

State Farm Claims

On 12/24/22, Our pipes burst during what the weather said was a "polar blast." The kitchen was raining, and then the ceiling fell to the floor. To make matters worse, our bathroom pipes busted on 12/26/22, flooding the main bathroom, two adjoining bedrooms, and another half bath. Our water has been shut off ever since. My husband and I met our deductible. it was met on 1/2/23. State Farm paid our hotel bill for three days-1/4/23, 1/5/23, and 1/6/23. I've been paying the rest out of pocket. My claims person has been extremely rude to me and has threatened me on 1/5/23, stating "I am the owner of this claim, not you, not Bertram, but me. It's up to me to decide what does and does not get paid!" She also accused me of "you picked your own hotel-you did that on your own!" I have complained to this persons boss twice (today will be three times) and have asked for a different person to handle my claim, but have been told that it would delay my claim even further. We have only been reimbursed $208.00 as we enter into week three of our claim. I have been a loyal State Farm customer for over 30 years. I have never been treated rudely by anyone from your company until this claim.

My claim number is 3543L321P.

Desired outcome: Please pay for my hotel, at least until the contractor can repair our busted pipes, and fix the kitchen ceiling. It's winter in Ohio, so it is cold.

State Farm Drivers app state farm

I found out about the drive safe app has been tracking me when I am not even my car I flew to Florida got told by my phone i was accelerating to fast I was on a jet taking off then landing I am breaking to hard that's reverse thrust plane landing 2 different flight going their 2 landings then I get recorded me flying over states tracking me well over 50 or 60 reports. I was with family well we are friends but sometimes your friends family. feel like being tracked not even in my car that being recorded my location 1,600 miles from my car. I left my car Christmas day in Milwaukee sister came and got me . I got dropped of by her at the airport O"Hare to DC to Sarasota. then Sarasota return Charlette NC then to Milwaukee . didn't drive at all since Christmas Eve till January 3rd went to the i think to store the next day. I had knowledge I was tracked 24-7 suppose to be only when I am in my car very deceitful in another vehicle as a passenger I am being recorded as driving being tracked. Where ever I was I was being tracked electronically . I was told only in my vehicle not with others Friday January 6 th I am riding with a friend get reported I was reported speeding . I feel like I had a Micro Chip implanted in my body with out being any knowledge .That is electronic stalking what can I do about this invasion of privacy

State Farm Auto insurance

Claim 28-41k4-57v

I'm 77 years old on social security and been with state farm over 30 years with no claims. Now state farm sent a 3rd rate tow truck company to jump start my car on 11/2/22. Driver refused to jump direct on battery, and hooked up under th hood and fried my frm module, cost $1512 to repair and state farm refuses to pay. I filed complaint with dept. Of ins and bbb please help!

State Farm Auto accident

Filed an accident claim on December 15, 2022. Claim # 3543-F580K.

Crash report # [protected]. After several unsuccessful attempts to get my car repaired, it is January 2, 2023, and still no response. Thankfully

State Farm is not my insurance provider, but to leave a family without an operating vehicle for weeks, especially during the holidays, is disgraceful!

Please process the claim and fix our vehicle.

State Farm House hail damaged roof/gutters

Hail Damaged Roof/Gutter Replacement Claim

Claim Number 2533J866C

In April 2022, we had a severe hail storm hit our city and damaged the roofs of many houses. In our neighborhood there were seven houses with damaged roofs. Six nearby houses had total roof replacement, but State Farm only wanted to replace the whole back roof, and partial shingles replacement on the front roof of our house. The State Farm inspector said there was not enough damage to replace all singles on the front roof.

Also, I question why I, who lives in Missouri, was given an inspector and third-party claim group from North Carolina. My neighbors apparently had local State Farm claim groups because their claims were started after mine and their claims are settled with full roof replacement, while I am still trying to get State Farm to do a complete roof replacement on my house. The roof contractor who was involved with doing my roof repair told me that State Farm did not want to give out any more money for roof repairs.

According to my State Farm claim activities, I have been assigned four claim Representatives or claim teams. State Farm sent the first claim check for all damages done to our property in the amount of $5,150.60 on June 23rd. 2022. After I called and complained about partial front roof replacement, a Claim Representative called later and said, they would send a check for $1,090.00 for the replacement of our gutter guards we had on our house.

Later, a Claim Representative called me and said State Farm would give $1,407.26 for gutter replacements. With the high inflationary prices in 2022, I thought the amounts were low for full gutters and downspouts replacement. I told the claim Representative that I had “Dollar Replacement” coverage in my State Farm policy. The Representative said that was all they could give me. With our house back yard enclosed, three to five roofers doing repairs will have to repeatedly walk across the front roof to dispose the damaged roof shingles into a front drive dumpster. We are concerned about the additional damages that will be done to the front roof. Also with spotted singles replacement, it will possibly deface the front roof appearance of our house.

We have been with State Farm fifty plus years with auto insurance. Through the years, we had five of our houses insured by State Farm. Previous claims with State Farm were always accepted. Now with an outside third-party claim group in North Carolina, State Farm refuse to satisfy us as long-term policy holder.

State Farm No help with an auto claim

Claim # 42T8-39H Wreck 12/8/2022 Report 12/9/2022 Rearended while sitting at a stoplight and the driver admitted that he never hit the brakes

I was involved in an auto accident with an individual that reported the owner of the vehicle has State Farm. My two passengers had to receive medical care. I reported the accident on 12/9/2022. While reporting my claim the representative

taking my claim kept asking me about the vehicle that hit me. I repeatedly told him that it was a 2015 Dodge Ram 3500 truck. However, he kept mentioning a GMC truck. After correcting him several time he finally understood it was a Dodge. While on the phone reporting my claim, he mentioned that the owner of the vehicle had several policies. The owner of the vehicle was not the driver that hit me. The driver that hit me is apparently her husband who was driving with no license and openly admitted to me that when he hit me, he did not hit the brakes. My claim was picked up by an adjuster who never reached out. I called and left a message and finally got in touch with her the next week and she informed me that my claim had been passed on to someone else. She gave me the individuals contact information. I called and when I spoke with her, she was like I oh I haven't seen this claim before. Since this conversation I have had nothing but a hard time getting her to return any calls and it is only after leaving several messages at time. Each time she would call back I was informed that my claim was in the investigation stage because the policy number is not active, or the policy was not long enough. I was also informed that if they found a active policy they would make her add the vehicle to that policy and they would then cover my car. Well for several weeks I have been told this and when I would call State Farm and specifically ask to not speak to this claim representative again because she is no help, she is the one they send me to. I finally on 12/28/2022 speak with someone that looks at my claim and clearly states that the claim adjuster that has been assigned to me has not even so much as requested the police report and has not sent it to underwrite to see if the individual has any active policies. I asked if I could speak with the claim adjuster's manager and was informed that they can't directly send me to a manger, but he would send an email to the adjuster and the manager. He asked me if I had the police report and if I could email it State Farm. He gave me an email address and I emailed the police report. I also explained that I had returned to the police department that responded to the accident and asked them if they could help me because State Farm was not doing anything to help me. The police officer that I spoke with informed me that he was able to see that the owner has several vehicles in her name with State Farm Insurance. I also explained that I had seen the owner of the vehicle that hit me and her husband driving a brand-new vehicle that the police department confirmed was under her name and insured by State Farm. On 12/29/2022 my claims adjuster called me starting off with an attitude talking about I received your message. I explained to her what the police department had informed me of. She cuts me off and says well we can't find a policy. I went to explain that if the individual that took my claim could obliviously see there was policies under this individual, then other people within State Farm should be able to find claims. She cut me off again and I was like no let me finish talking. I explained that I don't feel that she has tried to help me in any way and that this individual knows that there is people driving around without licenses on a vehicle in her name stating they have State Farm Insurance. I explained to her that if we had been in a car, he would have more than likely killed us. I explained that when he left the scene of that accident, he could have caused another one that someone did seriously get hurt or die in. I explained that State Farm should not be okay with an individual riding around with no licenses throwing their insurance companies name around. She let out a breath and was like well we can't find any active policies and I did request the police report and underwriting can't find a policy. She stated that she had left A message (one message) I said its funny that all this time you didn't have a answer from the investigation and now all of a sudden you do. I also repeated to her that I had seen the individuals on a brand-new car that the police department confirmed was under her name and the insurance listed in the system was State Farm. She asked if I had a policy number. I said no because they can't legally give me that information. She let out a breath and I was like you know what I don't like the attitude you have and I want to speak with your manager and I don't want to speak with you any longer because you clearly don't want to help me. She stated she could not just transfer me but she would email. No call yet.

Desired outcome: I would like State Farm to have their customer take responsibility for the wreck their husband caused. I would like my vehicle to be fixed and my passengers medical bills be paid. I would like to be provided with a rental suv.
